I JUST REWATCHED PIWON MOVIE AND I HAVE THINGS TO SAY

i keep getting tiktoks of these younger gen z kids referencing a time they did something relating to fandom in public and now they're embarrassed by it and everytime i see one i sit there thinking over all of middle and high school and having genuinely 0 moments that i feel embarrassed by, like i definitely did a lot of shit these kids would be embarrassed by but i think these are all just really fucking funny

also photographic evidence of the kinda kid i was. these are from 2014/15 when i was in 8th grade

-desolation row one shot(still on wattpad gerard way/reader smut)

-twerk it on (mcr crack fanfic no longer on wattpad but i have another fic in my library called twerking in taco bell which definitely ALSO used for my reading log)

-frank iero must die(a serial killer/assassin frerard fic, still on wattpad)

-hair (really vague maybe a phanfic? nowhere in my wattpad library rip)

my binder i used in 7th grade i had a blue one that looked pretty similar to this for 8th grade but idk where it went, also the parts i scribbled out are my full legal name i had written on it. i wrote it normally and then the big spot is where i wrote my name REALLY BIG in elysian code from the vladimir tod books. also the lines are from when i used an exacto knife to cut up some papers and forgot that my binder was underneath

in conclusion yall can now see why im so shameless about talking about shigaraki the way i do

#base line i started sobbing IN THE MIDDLE OF MATH CLASS and had my phone taken away bc i was watching the mv for the ghost of you by mcr #i went to school with cat whiskers #me and my bsf made a presentation about an imaginary trip to the planet uranus and we filled it with so many memes and butt puns she started #laughing so hard she couldn't breathe and i had to do the entire presentation alone and we got a standing ovation #my 8th grade science teacher hated us #another time same class we had an assignment where we had to make a bunch of words with the periodic table and we did shrek and lucifer one #after another and when we turned it in our teacher read it and immediately told us to leave💀💀#same class again different friend we saw NA on the periodic table and started singing nanana by mcr and got sent out of class bc we started #laughing so hard we couldn't breathe #high school i would eddie munson on the lunch tables #found that aspect of eddie so relatable #filmed youtube videos at my old hs that STILL EXIST ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL #id honestly have them up for anyone to see but my old bsf found them extremely embarrassing and she thinks i deleted them #i used to go to school with a whole library in my backpack like the entire pjo/hoo series of unfortunate events harry potter etc #my backpack had a bunch of doodles on it and it said battaco big asf and it was an inside joke with my friends for years bc of it #i also used to go to school dressed as frank iero/gerard way/etc #pete wentz eyeliner #larped with the anime club in this little corner outside of the library bc it had a bunch of trees and a 6 ft long stick that we took turns #holding and screaming YOU SHALL NOT PASS‼️‼️#the middle school book club had movies days on fridays and when people tried to vote to watch the lighting thief movie i stood on my chair #and spent so long bitching about how bad it was that we had to do the movie the next monday bc people needed to go home and the librarian #could not stop my righteous fury #a teacher assaulted me trying to get me to stand for the flag so i dead weight dropped on top of him and then ran around the class to stay #away(real hard to do in a small music classroom) and when i got tired of that i beat him up a little and i didnt get in trouble bc he was #really embarrassed i got the drop on him(bc i had tiddies)#that man hated me for being trans #really got mad at me when the pledge started after that and id get up and salute while singing welcome to the black parade #was also genuinely bad at soccer that my teacher sent me off to other teachers when our class did soccer bc the only time i ever got the #ball i kicked it into the wrong goal #i got more stories but i ran out of tags :(

#im going thru old flipnotes i used to watch years ago and ouggghhg so many good ones #is twenty one pilots still popular.... do people still remember the TRNDSTTER and marble soda meme.........#its like im unlocking some sort of primal part of my brain and everything is coming back to me. one of my biggest inspirations as a kid #i still remember thinking the final transmission lyrics were the coolest thing and watching =TopHat= Bee and Melissa over and over #theres a very specific feeling of longing and nostalgia looking back and watching these again years later #especially when there isnt anything genshin or mcyt and instead its either fnaf undertale eddsworld or another obscure #interest... and not even fnaf sister location its like fnaf 3 and 2. its THAT old. and a lot of oc MVs especially pokemon ocs and furries..#god but they were so creative u know. i still find it amazing ppl took this little lightbox animation on the fucking NINTENDO DS and #cranked it all the way to 11.. like if u look at the transitions and movement its so fucking fluid its insane..!! HOW DO YOU MAKE THE #CHARACTERS SPIN??? AND CHANGING CAMERA ANGLES??? and keep in mind youre doing this all with a shitty stylus #on a THREE BY TWO INCH SCREEN. you only get two layers you can go up to 29FPS and you only have 999 slides to work with #and 24FPS eats up a lot of that. absolutely insane it literally boggles my mind every time i think about it. AND SOME ARE EVEN FULL COLOR #i forgot how popular EDM was back then too...they were really good for timing beats though so you get a lot of MVs with #strobe last and marble soda. porter robinsons goodbye to a world was also popular with undertale and oc MVs. also a lot of vocaloid #someone made a flipnote abt the warner bros fnaf movie being announced EIGHT FUCKING YEARS AGO. it even used the stay calm audio from #the office.... i wonder how theyre doing now... i love you shitty grainy MV audio.. but i have mixed feelings abt the flashing colors #ppl LOVED animating the sans vs frisk fight. aishite and primadonna were also big ones they were SICK AS FUCK #lots of these inspired my old oc designs.. a lot of my characters had side bangs with one eye covered. animal ears and simple eyes too #now i kinda wanna try my hand at the marble soda meme cause i loved it as a kid lol.. i wonder if i should compare my old and new art here #UGHHHH IM SO NORMAL ABOUT NOSTALGIA. god. randy being the one in control here. how he shakes his head at benson who's watching him for the call—ignoring the way chris is puffing up his chest, playing like he's anything other than a pigtail puller. it's a small motion but it's all benson needs to let it go. just a guard dog. randy making that decision. you don't have to do this for me. and it's such a tense moment. only, when benson drops it there's still not any relief because randy actually lets chris keep going, doesn't stand up for himself even when bolstered by someone else being on his side. and jesus... when you think about it, if randy wouldn't have shook his head at benson then they might still be alive. and i imagine randy has thought about those few minutes a lot...

just finished 12 season of bob’s burgers and i’m not ready for the movie not season 13

#i wanted to prolong this bas alas #i’ve seen some animation pics from the movie and it looks GOOD #also season 12 was really great arc wise imo it really had the kids address themselves and their behaviors which i adored #i love the kids a lot a lot actually and i love joining bob and linda watching them grow up #i love the moments louise decides she wants people to have fun #and i love when tina has moments where she realizes she doesn’t need the group of friends she’s built #but also she’s embraced their friendship as well especially with the boys #a whole episode where willingly hung out with and helped zeke is IMMENSE growth on her part ESPECIALLY when jimmy jr wasn’t even there #also while she’s still 13 and her crush on jj is still there she’s accepted him as a friend and has learned to treat that friendship nicely #and i love that she’s allowed herself the room to be mean to him too sometimes cause he deserves it whack him again for me T!#AND GENE my baby who is funny enough imo the most similar to bob #like all kids have some traits they’ve got from him and linda but gene reminds me of him in funny ways esp a younger version of him #i really believe bob would’ve been more like gene had his mother not passed and his father not gotten distant #but anyway gene’s seriousness and the way he behaved in the locker love mv episode stood out to me personally #but also the creativity that exists in them both and is expressed so beautifully with what they love #bob with his burgers and gene with his music #and then also tina with her writing and louise with her scheming #but also gene not being too clingy with linda this season is such a refresher cause that was getting too much too weird #and louise is my babh i could talk for hours about her actually #and then bob and linda and their evergrowing love for each other #and then for their kids who they want the best for and it’s starting to become obvious to them that their kids are gonna need them a lot #more often because this season and i’m gonna assume the movie and the next season are gonna introduce more insecurities into the kids’ lives #which isn’t to say they weren’t there before or weren’t insecure before but i think it’ll continue to be pointed out more #they’ve done a wonderful job of raising their babies to be as expressive of themselves as they want to but the world as we saw in the season #12 finale isn’t ready for that kind of expression and it’s gonna hit the kids pretty hard because they’re all weird and different and the #kind of weird and different the world chews and spits out so they’re gonna need to fall back heavily on their parents as well as their #circles which the show developed more this season #with tina and the kids krew and then gene with his growing friendship with courtney and alex and even peter #and then louise and her friendship with rudy and ollie and andy and jessica and millie #tag: bob’s burgers watch
