The 12th Golden Guard and Belos are fighting to the death after they found out The Truth about Phillip and the grimwalkers.

The Golden Guard is tired, hurt and knows he is not going to last much longer. He just hopes the next version of him can put an end to the sick cycle.

Belos attacks, and he falls to the ground. He can't stand up. That's when he decides he's not leaving this world without telling his "Uncle" what he should have a long time ago.

"You are never Going to get what you want. You know that Right?" Another Hit. The Golden Guard Winces. "Because... No matter how many Times You try... No matter how many times you make me... There's ONE thing that will never Change"

"Oh, really? And What would that Be, Hunter?" Belos mocked. His Glowing Staff Pointing menancingly at his victim.

"Witches..."

Hunter looked up

"Are...."

He was Smirking

"HOT"

And Belos Killed him

So hear me out

What if, when Hunter calms down from the whole revelation of what he is and what Belos has done, he returns to the owl house and Lilith along with her and Eda's mother show up, only for Eda's mother to look at Hunter and be like "you look just like...him-" (referring to some cliché old portrait picture she saw as a child of her great grandfather or somethin')

Eventually revealing that Eda and Lilith have a Human ancestor.

I think Luz is unintentionally going to play a role in releasing the Collector on the Day of Unity.

As soon as we learned in 2x12 that Philip was lying in his diary, I realized the probability that his instructions for the portal door were purposefully incorrect. I rewatched that episode to find the quote where Luz talks about messing up her portal door, and this is what she said:

You know what Luz, I think you're right.

Based on my theory that The Collector was the whispering voice in the in-between...

I figured that he told Philip what instructions to write in the diary in order to get someone to come to the in-between, which I now believe is where the Collector is trapped.

Philip needed that “round boy” mirror to talk to/release the Collector, and the way he moved along the walls was kind of similar to how Luz interacted with the demon and human realms in 2x10. She needed a reflective surface, but maybe the magic mirror Philip used allows the Collector’s image to move freely.

Now, as for why the Collector needed Philip to write instructions for a portal to the in-between instead of the human realm, I think he needed to establish some sort of connection with someone in order to be freed on the Day of Unity. Idk if he’s going to possess Luz’s body, or if they’ll swap places, or something else, but u/whywouldisaymyname made a reddit post last month that pointed out an interesting parallel between Luz and a drawing of the Collector that Dana did during her charity event.

Could be a coincidence, but the shadows are just too perfect!

So many things are coming together after last episode and I’m literally shaking from excitement!

Edited: I know I mistakenly said Hunter lol! Though he did previously use it in Hollow Mind! I also remember Amity taking a glyph from Luz’s pocket too! All that remains if for Willow to use it too!

What’s the best Owl House episode?

In honor of my favorite series ending, I decided I’d do a poll to see which TOH episode is the most common favorite. Every single episode is going to be included, maybe with the exception of season 3 (it wouldn’t fit into the poll layout I want to use)

Hey while we’re all speculating about Hunter’s hands and what’s up with them—he’s also really bad at typing.

It could be because he’s never had to type on a scroll before… but I haven’t heard anybody bring it up in terms of his hands being possibly wonky ;)

So I just had a thought, illusion magic is basically messing with a person's senses, mainly vision right?

So with this in mind, you can essentially give a person sensory overload and use it to disorient and even incapacitate them.

I bet you could even make someone either temporarily or permanently blind by making the illusion too bright to look at.

There's also the possibility to make someone absolutely hallucinate/trip balls.

If we want to go there, it also has the potential to trigger/give someone epilepsy. Heck, even straight-up give someone a seizure.

Now let's take it further.

Remember how Gus essentially mindfucked Adrian Graye with his worst memories?

What if you can prolong it and basically torture the person by making them see their traumatic memories for too long? (Hours, days, weeks, months, a year?)

You'd be giving the person a personalized never-ending nightmare.

It'd probably drive them to the brink of insanity.

Now that's a fate I wouldn't wish on anyone.

With this in mind, illusion magic is just certified mindfuckery and mind rape in its purest form and because of this, it's pretty OP and downright dangerous magic if used by the wrong person.

Or if the person gets a little too creative with illusions.
