have you thought about doing licensable charcter art? basically not a full adopt but instead art people can pay a smaller amount of money to use as their dnd character portrait or oc faceclaim. Because many people can license at the same time it doesnt have the appeal of being unique hence the lower price, but that makes it an affordable option plus as the artist you get more bandwidth out of one piece of art.
If you wanted to take it a step further and go heavy into the dnd/ttrpg route, you could attach stat sheets or a prewritten backstory for people who dont feel strong about character creation.
Oooooh I've never heard of this - god I am learning SO MANY interesting things today!! Thank you so much for sharing this as well!! πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ™πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
I'll definitely have to research what licensable character art looks like/what stipulations to put into invoices and things but this is such an interesting concept wow! Thank you again - this is definitely another thing to also consider! πŸ™πŸ’•πŸ’–βœ¨
