Very confused why they made it that the solstice already passed. Like I hope they have a reason behind it but it really makes no sense to me making him fail the quest
#and also the pearls#are they changing the ‘what matters most in the end???’#percy jackon and the olympians#Percy Jackson#pjo spoilers#idk how I feel about this episode#the percabeth content was on point but the changes didn’t make sense to me#they made Hermes feel genuinely evil when he was one of the decent ones in the books#they took away how they found out about the hotel and did a very tell not show thing that was kinda lame#the whole Hermes being there felt so pointless#would’ve been better to introduce him in season 2 like the books and have his guilt at Luke’s betrayal#they’re probably trying to give hints that Luke is the traitor but having that follow the Charisse revelation was odd and confusing#like they want to hint it but don’t at the same time#idk I’m holding all formal opinions until the season finale but I didn’t like the changes here
