#the plural of xocolat would be xocolats which is why the feminine plural -es surprised me

I was looking at my tub of ice cream that says “3 chocolates” (spanish) and “3 xocolates” (catalan) and I was bewildered for a second until I went to go look it up and found that chocolate in catalan is xocolata (feminine) while in spanish it’s chocolate (masculine). I genuinely always thought it was xocolat - TIL I guess!
