Been obsessed with this niche horror manga for the past few days so here's a Hayakawa to curb the urge to talk about this series with like 2 fans

I'm not going to lie as a kid who grew up with OG Yu-Gi-Oh and Yu-Gi-Oh GX as my favorites. I overlooked Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds but you got me to wanting to give it a the fair chance. I never gave the show back then because it just felt so different than the original. And I'm already hooked after a few episodes.

Today is ramble time but UHHH here’s my old Pokémon game concept

So it took place in the Ore region, every town was named after gemstones in some capacity, very cool very epic. I actually had a lot of the story down so uhh let’s see

The two protags you could choose from were Phoenix (the girl) and Darell (the boy), the cool thing is that at the start of the game Phoenix always had an abra, even if you chose Darell, Phoenix would still have the abra. Anyways so it was Heheh pokemon day, you also have to pick up Phoenix’s cousin, boy who’s name I forgot, from a few towns over, which is why you needed abra.

After teleporting to and from, you get to the lab and meet professor Pine, who goes on her speech about “ooo Pokédex pokemon master oo catch em all!!” But she realizes that. She actually doesn’t have the starter pokemon, she’s waiting for some new ones to come from the local daycare. This of course is embarrassing as hell, so you get to chose from three baby Pokémon instead; Elekid, Magby and Happiny.

YOU DIDNT GET THE STARTER POKÉMON UNTIL LIKE, THE THIRD GYM.

Anyways so the first gym was a dragon one, the gym leader is a cool rock musician and the whole thing is that you need to get a ticket to her latest show to battle her. She was hot. She also has a semi dark past.

The second gym leaders were normal types, I remember their names very clearly... t... and I shit you not, their names were Coke and Cola. Anyways yeah they had a double battle.

I forgot the third gym and the fourth too, I think. But the fifth gym I’m pretty sure occupied by... by Blue/Green/Gen 1 Rival for whatever reason!! And I’m pretty sure the seventh or eight gym was lead by Gold/Ethan/male protag of gen 2 FOR WHATEVER REASON!!!

Honestly the juicy bits comes from the last gym, cause the leader was me B] my character was the local breeder and owned the largest daycare center in the region, I was a dark type gym leader and I had a cool hat, pretty epic! However, my character’s twist was that she had a bunch of helpers at the daycare, who all specialized in a type that hadn’t been used by a gym leader or eliete four member yet; A poison one, a rock one, a ground one, and a flying one. All I can say is that the flying one was named Lynn, she was blind, and she was the sister of the Grass type gym leader I have yet to mention cause I forgot her name and position

The elite four (well, more like three) was iconic tho like fr

The first one was a steel type user who was an ex gambler I believe, and he was here as a sort of fresh start.

The second one was a Nurse Joy chatacter! She didn’t have a specific type, but she utilized various Pokémon associated with healing, like Chansey

And the third one. Was egg Pokémon based. Yeah. Yeah. Ceo of Exeggutor. Basically anything that could learn Egg Bomb, he had it

AND RHEN THE CAMPION WAS HOT IDC SHE WAS A GHOST TYPE CHAMPION AND HER WHOLE RHING IS RHAT HER SIGNAURE POKEMON WAS THE FUCKIN. SWORD. AND RHAT IN HER FINAL PHASW SHE WOUKD USE RHE DAMN SWORD POKÉMON AS LIKE A WEAPON (tho it was really just for effects, she would technically still fight with it normally in game, but Its a Cool sprite concept!)

Also she’s the dragon leader’s sister and the whole thing is that her one eye got fucked up by her sister and her dragon Pokémon so yea

OH AND RHE EVIL TEAM so the evil team’s motive is that the leader is trying to build a portal to get her daughter back, a long time ago she worked as a scientist and was working on this portal, things went haywire and she took cover, bur her daughter (who was with her cause she couldn’t get a babysitter/plot device) snuck out right infront of the portal to try and snag her Pokémon back, a spider like Pokémon I made just for the region, and well daughter go missing in portal and portal destroyed.

Her main grunt was a girl named Max who specialized in fighting types. The finishing battle of the evil team was that the leader managed to rebuild the portal, and went through along with Max and the main gang, reunited with her daughter, gave a tearful goodbye as her daughter told her she needed to go and that everything was unstable and there was no time. She would try to join her on the other side, but she’s been gone for so long, she Nah not make it

Anyways once back in the regular world, just before the portal fucks up again, the evil gang leader jumps through it one last time. And so she gets trapped with her daughter. Fun times!

So yeah. Epic epic

I liked how he was struggling to figure out his goal at the beginning and was doubting it and changing his way of thinking alot but after a while im the manga it kind of got lost and just became trauma simulator 😭😭

Again i wish the manga would pay attention to his growth more i feel like he s a sidecharacter rn with the plot moving forward too quick but that s like a general problem with jjk
