same sky, different world | odile x prince siegfried
The white swan sleeps in sunlit shallows. The woman walks through starlight and snowfall. The roots of the faux forest reach cut stone and buckle the dirt under her feet.

The Swan Queen
Cue the swan lake theme and all please bow to the Swan Queen Herself!!!
I am so inlove with how the piece looks like although her dress made me want to cry so hard XD
Credits to Claudia Chiavazza in Unsplash who took the photo I edited for the background. This by far is my favorite piece from this year lol

I was in a rut, so I decided to try something different.
My OC, Hiromi, after @jupiterprincesshouou remarked that she would make a good Swan Queen. This piece took it out of me, though, so I think her Odile will have to wait!
Feel free to reblog, but please don't repost!

Okay so we know destinies can be stolen and everything right?
I'm rewatching True Hearts Day and Duchess mentions taking Ashlynn's destiny because she's dating Hunter but then in Thronecoming Ashlynn says she did already sign the "Storybook"
Ashlyn signed the book, she does want the Cinderlla destiny but she's kind of conflicted because of what happens to her mother and she's also worried about her and Hunter BUT her destiny is already set in stone because of the book. I know the book is fake but as of now they don't know that.
Duchess CAN'T take her happily ever after if Ashlynn had signed the book already. Is Duchess really that desperate to not play her part and live her tragic destiny that she lied to herself that she can steal a destiny that's already set in stone???? That's really sad on Duchess's part.
I mean we learn in Farrah's diary that the story of Cinderella can be changed but the Fairy people are like "Not many people will like these changes" but doesn't that mean that Duchess can also change her story? Maybe her curse can be broken and she wins her prince back and then the Black Swan is cursed to be a swan forever instead.
Or is Duchess THAT committed to tradition that she'll live out that destiny even if she can change it? I mean in Next Top Villian she overheard a conversation saying that blah blah blah she could change her destiny if she takes Advanced Villiany and becomes the next Evil Queen in Raven's place blah blah stupid bullshit from Headmaster Grimm.
She does clearly have a desire to be a queen and have a happily ever after like the other princesses, she really wants it that she actually does consider what she overhears in Headmaster Grimm's office about breaking her curse.
Okay this got kind of derailed from what I originally wanted to say, my main idea was: What is going on in Duchess's head if, in their minds as of True Hearts Day, that she can take Ashlynn's destiny is she had already signed the "book" which means her destiny is set in stone. The only reason Courtly was able to almost steal Lizzie's destiny is because Lizzie hadn't signed the book.

It was hard to whittle the choices down to 12, okay?
