WIP Wednesday 11/01/23

Guess who's back, back again (I even just told @exy-shmexy to stop me from writing anything new today but shhhhh)

It's WIP Wednesday, time for a little accountability, sharing your work, and getting a kick in the pants.

Here's how it works:

• In a reblog of this post (so people can find you in the notes) or new thread (w/ rules attached) if you want to play on your own, post up to five (5) filenames of your WIPs; not titles, file names.

• Post a snippet from one of them. Snippet must be words you wrote in the last 7 days. We're posting progress here. If you haven't made any, go make some and come back to play!

Neil dug around his bag for the appropriate workbook. 

He set it on the table. “How about we start with some basic problems and work from there?”

This time, Andrew shrugged. He still didn’t say anything but his eyes tracked over the workbook instructions as Neil carefully explained them. Andrew tapped his finger against the page. Gently, Neil set a sharpened pencil down on the table. Andrew’s gaze moved like spilled honey to the writing utensil. Andrew’s writing was small and precise, not a move wasted as he worked. Neil frowned as he worked. The problem had been an easier one, but normally students had difficulties with the formula the first few times. Andrew worked steadily through the problem in stony silence. 

He set his pencil down after the first one. Neil leaned forward, scanning over the work he’d been watching. It was all correct. Neil gave a small hum of approval, already mentally bumping up the difficulty for their next session.

If Season 3 of The Tunnel didn’t end the way it did it would’ve been the perfect season. Like I love the little slice of life moments in the first couple of episodes. It’s the same with Broadchurch. They ruined a perfectly alright 2 season show with a third season that underdelivered.
