But this is making me completely insane. I am shaking. I am actually SHAKING MY HANDS ARE SHAKING due to how extremely intense this is. To think of Armand keeping fabric of Lestat’s? To think of him wearing it? On his outing with Louis? Ohnfnsjaiajwnsjjss I want to scream or throw up or throw myself to the floor. This is not normal behavior but it is absolutely normal behavior for Armand! THE FABRIC IS THE SAAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that as a kid Lestat had a speech impediment of the thoughts too fast for his mouth to keep up variety, so he stuttered like crazy, also def slurred over his words while he rambled super fast and couldn’t pronounce his rs. Meanwhile Armand didn’t speak until he was like 7 and once he started he was the most articulate 7 yr old on planet earth

Currently reading Prince Lestat and love how Lestat keeps mentioning that he cannot comprehend any technology, constantly forgets how to use his iPhone and computer, and also simply loses his iPhones and buys new ones and then loses the new ones. Feel like there are probably dozens (if not hundreds) of lost iPhones around the world with strings of messages like this:

Do you think the show may justify 1700’s lestat and Armand having a more considerable relationship by removing Gabrielle from that plotline? If she’s not there then it leaves lestat in a very different position, right? I’m thinking they may have lestat turn her after Nicki in the show and only reunite with her when he returns to Auvergne perhaps when the revolution kicks off. It would be a shame to not see Armand and Gabrielle’s animosity towards each other but maybe that’s the only way the writers can think to balance it out when planning how they want to map out S3.

I think the only reason Gabrielle might not be in s2 yet is because Armand hates her guts.

Like, that is no secret.

Also, he probably doesn't want to give Louis (even) more to think about.

As per Armand and Lestat in the show vs the books...

Lestat and Armand kiss in the books. Bloody kisses. Sharing blood. And there's a forced feeding that also makes sure Armand never really gets what he is actually after, too.

So I do not think anything we've seen so far is out of the scope.

I think Armand will blow it in the show, too, by trying to force his will on Lestat. He is used to doing that, as a coven-leader, I mean we already saw him exude his will in the trailer.

I'm not sure if, given the show has added sex to the mix, there will be much that these two will not do.

In fact, it might be very ugly, given the obvious connotations of a forced-feeding.

the saddest thing ever is that marius was in venice for, what, like 20 years? it was such a tiny phase of his life, it's like when you have ADHD and you're really really really into a hobby and convinced it's your new thing and then you burn out in 2 weeks and never touch it again.

it's so sad like he was with Armand for 4-5 years at the most? especially when he spent 200+ years with his other fledglings? he even spent like entire centuries around Avicus and Mael? was in Constantinople with them for nearly a century and he doesn't even LIKE Mael?? (or so he claims, smh.)

anyway very sad that the Venice Era is like, the cornerstone of Armand's entire worldview. A friend phrased it like AS ROME IS TO MARIUS, MARIUS IS TO ARMAND -- everything will always ultimately come back to these principles, to how Marius identifies as a Roman or how Armand wants to live up to the paradigm of Marius's approval, to his identity as Marius's student, and it was such a tiny tiny tiny little piece of Marius's life.
