CW FOR FAKE INJURIES (it's a bruise but a pretty big one? Do whatever, be warned)

Learning to make bruises/injuries with makeup (because I may be a theatre kid, I am not one to the point that I will get the injuries my characters have) so that I can try and reproduce kaposi lesions on me because my character has them, but first I wanted to try bruises. Problem: I only have glittery eyeshadow, I have no red so I replaced that with pink, I have no yellow so I replaced that with green. I present to all: the bruise that slays

Made exclusively with pink, purple, blue and green. It's wayyy shinier in person.

“They need to let Buck have all of Oliver’s tattoos.” I know that the makeup artists aren’t doing the best job. But ABC would need to track down and acquire the rights and/or permission of each individual artist that did the tattoos. Because tattoo artists own the rights to their art.

Tbh it’s just really frustrating to see the Oasis casts iterate on each others’ makeup and make beautiful and unique versions of the designs with tons of color and detail and get no recognition from ALW/RUG at large while the new big time tours are being absolutely demolished by facetuned-ass looks and get vogue photoshoots or whatever

I’m a technical theater person for fun and volunteer hour reasons, one of the creatures that run around backstage making plays and musicals run, and I got my start by diving in the deep end by mic wrangling a musical.

Technical theater people are called crew, making up one third of the trifecta of cast (actors), crew (tech), and pit (orchestra for live music) that create musicals.

I do this at my school and have two years in a row. I’m a veteran of the mic crew for musicals.

idk if anyone has told you this yet but I do my eyeliner with a teaspoon as the ruler to get a good line. also I just watched challengers, mostly bc of you, great film, thank you for your service. I meant to earlier but I only just had the time to really pay attention to a film.

I had no idea about using spoons to do eyeliner wings until today! (Someone else also suggested using a card or something similarly flat but it also happened today). It looks like an awesome trick, absolutely will try it tomorrow, thank you a bunch <3
