Falls Mills Hill from Hell Run: 3.75 mile mostly flat run with one seriously steep hill right in the middle of the run. Feeling really strong today. I received my Bachelors of Science & Arts in Neuroscience with a Philosophy Minor. • • First generation college graduate. • First one in the fam to attend a US university. • But, not the first moron to completely change careers & risk it all to start her own business. • • What's next is what excites & terrifies me the most. I'm starting my own journey into the business world. • • Thanks @andyfrisella @therock for mentoring me without necessarily mentoring me. Thanks @1stphorm for helping me become the best human I can be. • • College has confirmed that I can follow rules & turn things in. • • But. • • Rules are sometimes meant to be broken. I value education, but the system we currently have is designed to keep kids into a box so they can work. • • From the books, podcast (@themfceoproject), amazing public figures, etc. I learned that we need to think & dream for whatever we want. There shouldn't be a box in the first place! We must be ready for the work, do the work, & keep pushing. • • I'm happy I got a degree. It's only the beginning. Fail. Learn. Succeed. I can’t begin to explain the amount of value that comes from this podcast! It’s scary starting your own business, especially from scratch with no experience what so ever. But with the help of @andyfrisella and his team we can get past that! I never in a million years dreamed of trying to start my own company, but after I started listening to this podcast my life has changed. And even tho we’re small now, it’s not going to stop us from growing and expanding in the fitness industry. No words could bring together the feeling I felt yesterday finally getting to see the man responsible for helping me believe in myself @andyfrisella. I owe so much to him for saying shit how it is and being 100% real with everything he says and does for people. If you haven’t adopted @themfceoproject #podcast, I highly recommend you do so, especially if you know deep down that you’re meant for more in this world. If you would have told me back in September that I would have the privilege to see #AndyFrisella, I would’ve thought you were nuts but anything is possible if you’re willing to put yourself into uncomfortable situations. Attended the @VeganWonder Vegan Business & Entrepreneurship event at @generalassembly @ga_austin. Amazing businesswomen from Austin, such as @credofoods by @modernveganfam, @dividedbytwoa a CPT & co-owner of @darkclanfightlab, & @racheldrinksgold owner of @eatcurcuma. Did not take pictures of these amazing Vegan entrepreneurs (mainly b/c I was talking with them & meeting new humans), but I loved the event & found some badass images of them on @instagram. • • As a Vegan, a fetus in the business world, & a woman of color, I have so much to learn & absorb, so these events & these people are perfect. Additionally, I would love to Shār (yeah, the "a" with "--" makes it a long "a") with y'all that I'm working with... you guessed it, @Shar.Snacks, an amazing Vegan, Austin-Based, Eco-Friendly, & Organic company🌎 I'm so excited to see where this journey takes me, about learning from this experience, & to be part of a company I truly believe in. • • It's a wonderful & interesting experience submerging myself into what I believe God sent me to do. I've been constantly reading books, listening @andyfrisella @themfceoproject, & working on my self-development to ensure I become the very best version of myself. Every day! • • It's a lot, I know. But, all I want to emphasize is that I'm extremely grateful for all the people (present: you know who you are) who have been there through this evolution of who I am as person, & I'm also thankful for the mentors I've found (not present: @themfceoproject @therock @mileycyrus) who have transformed my life since my PTSD & GAD episode back in August/2018.
