Multivoid: Prologue
A fanfiction revolving around 2K, Palindrome and the alternate Zims in the aftermath of the Battlevoid arc.
Based on Invader Zim comic issues 46-49.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The bright green light of the Zapper can be seen from the distance, standing tall and mighty for six months, while the green vortexes are shown in the sky. Distant explosions can be heard growing louder and louder. A highly advanced voot cruiser zooms by, tumbling about with smoke coming out from one of the engines. Within the voot cruiser, sirens were going off, the monitor blinking a sign that said “ENGINE FAILURE: ENGAGE NEW ENGINE”. Palindrome frantically looks about all the complicated buttons that were barely ever in his original cruiser.
“Come on, come on, which one! If that Zib really is half of me, where would he put that stupid button-?!”
Just as he was searching, the voot’s communicator turned on.
“Pal...PAL! Can you hear me?!”
There was no doubt on mistaking that loud child-like voice. Palindrome immediately turned on the speaker,
“I’m going down! There’s a monitor telling me to engage a new engine, but I don’t know how!”
“Well I don’t know, try anything! Maybe try the big yellow one on the right corner of the controls!”
He knew that he shouldn’t hesitate and hope for the best. He slammed his fist down on the big yellow button, and heard a bam sound at the back of the ship. For a moment, he thought that he would explode to bits until he saw the sirens go off, indicating that the damaged engine ejected out and was replace with the new engines that was within the ship. He gripped on the pilot handles and yanked it back.
The voot cruiser flicked back to its normal position and the ships’s fall softened to a stop right before it can even hit the ground. Palindrome took a moment to rest against the seat and sigh in relief.
“Ok,” he told the speaker, “I’m good.”
A sigh of relief can also be heard from the child-like voice.
“Well that’s good. Yeesh, you almost gave me a heart attack...”
“Heh...now you know the feeling I get every time you run into danger.”
Palindrome took a moment to calm and then looked out from the horizon. Thousands of voot cruisers can be seen swarming the now damaged castle, with a huge mechanical Zib looking robot standing on top of it. He watches as the robot keeps shooting down the cruisers and knocked out any that tried to charge towards him, making them tumble down into the ground. Each Zims were able to eject themselves out of the ship safely before it hits the ground and exploded. With nothing else for them to do, they look up at the remaining ships still flying and started rooting for them to win.
At this point however, Palindrome know that Zib will win unless they try forming a battle plan.
“He’s stronger than expected, 2K. If we’re going to win this, we have to find a way on getting to him without being blown to bits-“
“Yes yes, I’m aware of that, let me think!”
“Well try not getting yourself killed while you’re thinking.”
The communicator remained quiet. Not wanting to do anything else unless the smeet forms a plan that he might take part in, he looks out again at the battle field. Even though there were thousands of ships flying about, he was able to easily detect 2K’s ship. It was like his normal cruiser, but with two missiles on each side of the ship. Although it did not look as powerful as the other ships, it did not stop the smeet from sharply steering the ships through each of Zib’s attacks and even attempting to shoot back on the gigantic robot.
It was a great reminder that this is what his best friend really is. Someone who is willing to strive forward no matter what obstacle. Not even the fact that his body was de-aging little by little didn’t stop him. He may not be as strong as Palindrome, but his determination and confidence is something that can never be beaten down. The fish hybrid’s smile crept again. As long as he’s like this, then Palindrome, not even the others who have spent months in this asteroid planet, are going to give up. They are so close to going home.
Palindrome’s attention to 2K’s ship however was distracted when he noticed something off about the vortexes. Within the center of them, a red color  swirled out until the green vortexes were now completely seen with a sort of reddish and pinkish color. Palindrome blankly gazed at them.
“....Thats new.”
He spoke through the speaker again.
“Hey 2K, the vortexes just turned red all of a sudden. Do you know what going on with them?”
“Red vortexes?” 2K asked before having a moment of pause, indicating that he was possibly looking at them.
“...Huh,” the smeet responded with a tone of wonder, “that’s new.”
“Exactly what I said,” Palindrome looked back up at them. As he’s doing so, he can hear 2K hum as he ponders about it.
“...Wait!” His tone lits up, “maybe the Elder was able to successfully alter the vortexes. We should be able to get back to our timeline!”
Palindrome blinked,
“You really think he was able to do it?”
“Why not?! He’s a Zim, so he should accomplish anything! Well not as much as me and you, but you get what I mean.”
Palindrome’s ear fins raised up a bit in interest, remembering the time before they left the Elder, he told them that he would find a way to go to the Zapper and try altering the vortexes that should give the Zims access back to their home timeline. He did however say that he was going to try releasing the captive Zims first. And given that there are two thousands of them, he  would be surprised with the fact that he was able to do it that fast.
Though there can be a chance that as he was freeing them, more helped out. Palindrome glanced at the huge glowing device, his eyebrows furrowing.
Altering the Zapper’s device was a task that I was completely against. Given the fact that we barely know how to use it and what available functions it may have, was he really able to do it? Will these altered vortexes really take us back home? And more importantly, how will the Zims that lost their ships be able to travel back?
“....Wait!” 2K spoke you again, “I think I have an idea!”
“You do?” He looks back at the speaker.
“Yeah! It’s kind of crazy but then again, that what makes me so awesome!”
Palindrome knew what he meant by this and narrowed,
“You better not get yourself killed.”
“Well were all gonna get killed anyways if we can’t think of anything else!” 2K argued.
The fish hybrid went silent. At this point, he can’t convince him not to do whatever he was going to do. They might die either way by this fused creature. There is no other option but to do whatever must be done to win.
“Oh! And Pal?”
Palindrome took a moment to snap out of his pause,
“Yeah?”
“I am very very certain I will make it out of it. But just in case that extremely rare occurrence does happen, I want you to take my place. You got that?”
He already had an idea on what he meant by that too. He took a deep breath.
“Alright. But come back alive, ok?”
“Got it! Alright, I’m going in!”
He watches 2K’s ship make another sharp turn, heading straight towards the mouth of the robot. However, right before 2K entered the mouth, Palindrome far off saw Zib, sitting on top of the head of the robot, took notice of the a boot cruise charging in. Without hesitation, Zib quickly controlled the arm to quickly grab the ship and crush it. His heart sank, his body feeling cold.
No...no no no no....
He quickly turned on the speaker again.
“2K. 2K!”
There was no response.
His body started to quiver, his eyes glued on the crushing boot cruiser that his partner is in. His teeth clenched.
“2K!!”
The communicator remained silent. His sat there quietly. Grief was starting to set in. And so did grudge. His eyes flared deadly at the creature that was controlling the robot.
“I want you to take my place.” The voice of his friend echoed in his mind.
His hand slowly and shakily grabbed unto the control handle. He was about to be the one to charge in next.
However, a sound of broken glass can be heard from the crushed voot cruiser, along with a small being flying right out of it and then falling onto the the mouth of the robot. He was hanging onto the edge, his body quivering and struggling, until he built up strength to climb inside of it and disappearing. Zib can then be seen looking in shock and anger before shouting something that was too hard to hear from far off. He turned and was about to hit another button when something caught him off guard. His eyes immediately turned to the monitor with shock and confusion. He took a moment to hit a button that caused a force field to surround the robot, preventing itself from getting damaged by any of the cruiser’s attacks. Zib then glued his eyes back at the monitor, pressing many buttons that didn’t do anything.
Even though the force field was on, the robot was no longer moving.
A new communication picked up,
“You! Scuba Diver! I cannot pick up signals from from the baby! Where is he?” One of the Zims asked.
“I saw him go inside Zib’s robot,” he answered.
“Why did he go inside the robot?!”
Another Zim joined the communication.
“BIG ZIM CANNOT SHOOT FAKE NUMBER 1!” Another voice spoke, “BIG FAKE NUMBER 1 ROBOT WONT GO DOWN!”
“There’s a force field in the way,” another voice spoke, “and I can’t communicate with the baby on what we should do next!”
More and more voices chimed in. Wow. How can he even go through here? He never expected to take a solo leadership duty.
Collecting his thoughts on what to say, he turned the speaker on again.
“Listen, Zims! Hover over the head. You can try to continue shooting the force field to see if it could break. But I think we should also let 2K handle this. I think he might be onto something.”
“Did he tell you what it is?” One of them asked.
“He didn’t tell me,” his eyes traced back at Zib. “But something tells me he’s going to confront him in person. Maybe the weaker Dib can join if he sets him free.”
He looked out, seeing Zims within the cruisers glance about each other. Possibly uncertain. But they looked back into their controls.
“Sounds good.”
“If theres only one Zim here that can get to him, we’re gonna have to rely on him.”
“Hmph. I would have charged in that mouth first.”
Palindrome sighed in relief. Maybe this leadership thing is not as bad as he thought.
“Wait! I see him!”
His eyes opened again,
“Who?”
“The Zim Baby! He’s right over there!”
Palindrome looked to see. There, 2K was seen climbing out of the mouth again, his head raising up to look at the head. Glancing about for few seconds, he found an area he can climb on as he hopped right onto the wall and started climbing.
Palindrome gazed at his friend for a short while. He turned to the speaker again,
“Start hovering over the head.”
Just as told, the ships hovered up before positioning and aiming right at the distracted Zimvoid leader. Palindrome was the last to join the army and aimed as well. Despite his aiming, his eyes still focused on the small Zim. His climbing showed to be weaker than usual, most likely because of how much his stamina was easily running out. Even so, it did not make the child give in. Palindrome sat there silently.
Come on. Come on. We trained all these months for this. Come on.
2K finally manages to get on top of the head, holding onto one of the giant antennae to keep him standing after such an exhaustive climbing. He can see him communicate with the captive Dib, the kid looking at him in confusion when responding back. Zib has now turned his head to look at the alternate version of his enemy. 2K spoked something to him. Palindrome grabbed his handle again, his finger resting on his trigger for the right moment.
2K looks back at the Dib. He speaks to him again while he walks fast paced towards-
A harsh groan escapes from the fish hybrids when an unexpected and heavy uncomfortable sensation quickly raced throughout his body. It was a feeling he never felt to the point that he couldn’t even describe it. Was it pain? He didn’t even know if he can describe it as pain. But it was as though his entire body was beginning to weigh down and grow numb inside and out. He almost lost control of the ship and it was about to make a nose dive to the ground, but Palindrome still felt conscious enough to pull the handle back, stabilizing the cruiser from falling. At least for now. But it did not stop the feeling that he was experience and it almost immediately got to the point where it felt like his mind was starting to get distracted by something else, yet he can’t remember what it is that he should think about.
Whatever it was, the awareness of his surroundings were starting to deteriorate. He groaned again, his eyes squeezing shut, and placed his hand on his bowl,
“Why do I feel...more...stupider...?”
His eyes opened, feeling the numbness on his hand getting stronger. He pulled it away and looked to see why he was having trouble feeling his hand.
He noticed that something looked strange about it. Then something came out of his hand that looked what appeared to be floating goo as he watched it turn into a darkish green color. More and more came out and he realized that his hand was look thinner. Wait....is his hand-?
Screams and shoutings were suddenly heard outside, causing him to flinch and snap his gaze away from his disappearing. He looked out. What he saw was something he did not ever expect to see.
All the ships were falling. No. They’re not just falling. They’re dissolving. Their dissolving. The screams and shoutings were so loud that he can actually hear them:
“BIG ZIMS DOES NOT FEEL LIKE BIG ZIM SELF! BIG ZIM QUESTION BIG ZIM’S INDIVIDUALITY!”
“What’s happening?! Why am I....?”
“Make them stop!”
“Everything I am is a lie!”
It didn’t even take long before he saw green goo shoot out of each of the ships, getting sucked on by the vortex that were getting stronger. His breathing grew heavy in horror, eyes tracing about everything he was seeing. It’s not just him.
The ships. Everyone. But.....why?
He looked at the Zapper. He realized something looked off about it. It looked brighter then....
He froze up in realization.
Oh no.
He was caught off guard by his body growing heavy again, each of them being worse than the last to the point where he feels like he can barely sit up straight or even concentrate on driving the ship. He tried to catch his breath again, fighting to keep his mind as much as he could as he can feel it deteriorate even more. There were even moments where he almost forgotten why he was here. Wait...where was he? What is he doing? He’s doing this for somebody. Someone...
Something urged him to shakily look up, doing his best to ignore the dizziness. His eyes finally trailed back to the head of the robot. He can only see a Dib who is captive until he saw  some small being nearly fly past him and started to grip onto his hair strand. At this point, the smeet’s body was already starting to dissipate.
His mind sprung back to life for that moment. His eyes widening to gaze at him. He quickly grabbed the handle and started dashing right towards him. Along the way, he needed to dodge anything that would stop him from reaching him. With every ships that soared passed by. Every ships that almost hit him. Every sharp turns he need to make in order to avoid getting hit. The debris of the robot. Everything.
His dissipating eyes never let go of the child, his ship continuing to speed right close to to where he was at, despite it shutting down on him. The ship’s glass dissipated, making him feel the strong wind and yet could no longer feel the coolness of it. The kid was only using one hand to hold onto the hair strand, his other hand already completely gone and his dissipation worsening. He did not have any time. His mind thought of the name he last wanted to think of. The very last thing he could remember besides all the other new memories that was that was replacing his original memories. He sharply filled in to what now felt like his lungs instead of his gills, almost as if he was regaining them.
“2K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The child froze. He instantly turned to the source of the voice. The alternate Zim stiffened in horror.
His face. His face is almost gone. The child nonetheless still saw him, gazing at him with a dead expression. Even though there was barely any expression on his face, Palindrome can sense him trying to comprehend what was happening. But that he knew that whatever was happening, he knew that he should terrified. It had to keep hitting the fish hybrid with the conclusion that he never want any of them to believe. But it seems the worst really was happening.
They failed. They failed to defeat Zib. They failed to go back home. They failed to continue living their normal lives on their timeline. They failed to survive this void. They failed...They failed....
I failed....
He started to feel choked up, not sure if he was even able to produce tears.
I failed you.
“2K!!!!!!!”
He screamed out again, quickly climbing out and leaping out of the ship at the right moment, his arm reaching out and hoping his body can get to him on time. 2K however remained frozen. His mouth moved, seeing how they formed to say his friend’s name, even if it was just a whisper. His eyes grew heavy. Palindrome’s consciousnesses started to rapidly deteriorate.
He just needs to get to him. Just to be with him for just a...
2K lost complete grip and flew off, his body fully coming apart. Palindrome instantly lost conscious the moment it happened.

A mysterious threat is making it's way towards Earth, and the Battalion have to work fast to destroy it.
*Links to previous and next chapter in reblog*
--
Trouble through the Milky Way
Pluto. An adorable, little planet beloved by many on its far off neighbor, Earth. It floats quietly in its cold, dark orbit around the sun, minding its own business.
           Then it’s blown to bits.
A small ship flies by. It would be nondescript, if it weren’t for the giant plasma cannon grafted to its underside.
A few lightyears away, Lard Kio watches the vessel through her distance viewfinder on the Resisty ship. She immediately calls Zim.
On Earth, the sun is just barely peeking over the horizon. Zim is sleeping lightly in his bed when a beeping sounds through his base.
“Master,” the Computer says while Zim’s eye cracks open. “You are receiving a call from Kio.”
“Transfer it to my phone,” Zim orders as he sits up and grabs his cell phone. He answers the call and Kio’s face appears on screen.
“Zim, we got a big problem,” she says sternly.
He listens intently as she quickly explains the situation.
An hour later, Dib, Gaz, Tak, and Pepito gather sleepily in Zim’s lab- except for Tak, who is wide awake.
“There better be a good reason for waking me up before 6,” Gaz growls.
“There is,” Zim replies from his chair at the main computer. “Pluto has been destroyed.”
“No! Not Pluto!” Pepito cries in distress.
“What could destroy Pluto?” Dib asks.
“Not ‘what’. ‘Who’,” Zim explains as he pushes a button on the keyboard. A blurry image of a small grey ship with a disproportionately large cannon appears on the screen. “We’re not sure who they are, but they appear to be heading straight for the Earth. And with firepower like that, they can cause a lot of damage to the planet. At their current rate of speed, they will arrive by tomorrow morning. But because we do not know the range of their cannon, we have to assume we have less time than that. We have to stop them before they can get close.”
“How do we do that?” Pepito asks.
“Can we use the Epic?” Gaz suggests.
“It doesn’t have any weapons yet,” Zim replies, “and going up against a ship in space without our own vehicle is just plain stupid.”            “So we gotta stop it from the surface,” Dib muses, “do we have any weapons that’ll work?”
“I have an Irken Surface Cannon at my base,” Tak replies, “I just don’t have any mortar shells for it.”
Dib rubs his chin with consideration. “Can you load it with other things?”
           “If they fit properly, sure.”
           “Then what about…the Blissful?”
“The Blissful?” Gaz scoffs, “you mean that giant bomb you, Tak, Squee, and Maddie made for that science fair a couple years ago?”
“Yeah,” Dib replies, “presumably it should be incredibly powerful.”
“Presumably,” Tak repeats emphatically, “we were never able to test it.”
“But it is highly unstable,” he points out.
“You say that like it’s a good thing,” Pepito grimaces.
“Shouldn’t we tell Squee first before we try to use it?” Gaz suggests.
“That would be the polite thing to do,” he agrees, “I wonder what he’s doing right now.”
--
Squee is fast asleep in his bed, his face pressed into the pillow. Beside him, Nugget is also asleep, her claws restlessly kneading Squishy Pete.
--
“There’s no time to call Squee,” Zim points out, “what if he doesn’t answer? We can’t wait for a response. We have to act now.”
“Fine,” Tak groans, “where is it?”            “I helped put it in Squee’s basement,” he replies, “it should still be there. We will have to remove it and transport it to Tak’s base.”
“So we have to get into Squee’s house,” Pepito’s states, “I think Devi has a key so she can clean while they’re away.”
“We need to work fast,” Zim declares, “let’s go.”
They leave quickly and fly the Epic across the city to Devi’s building. After setting down in the parking lot, they hurry up to her apartment and knock until she answers, looking none too pleased.
“Ugh, it’s you guys,” she groans, rubbing her tired eyes.
“Hi, Devi,” Pepito waves, “sorry but this is an emergency.”
“What is it?” she asks impatiently.
“We need into Squee’s house,” Dib replies, “you have a key, right?”
“Yeah, hang on,” she says and ducks back into her apartment. She comes back after a few seconds with a single, bronze key. “Here. Just give it back to me later.”
“Thank you,” Pepito chimes and they hurry away as Devi closes the door.
Wasting no time, they fly over to Squee’s house and park at the curb. They rush up to the front walk and use the key.
The kids stand uneasily on the front step as the door loudly creaks open. It seems to echo ominously throughout the dark house, the early morning sun barely filtering through the boarded-up windows.
“Wow,” Dib comments, “this place is uh…kinda creepy without Squee here.”
“Let’s just get into the basement and get the bomb,” Zim orders and steps into the house. He freezes, a chill shooting up his spine. He suddenly has the feeling that he shouldn’t be here. But he quickly shakes it off and glares at the others. “Let’s go. Hurry up.”
Zim marches through the living room and Tak, Dib, Gaz, and Pepito quickly but cautiously follow. As they head to the hallway, they’re all constantly glancing around warily. They’ve been to a lot of haunted locations before but somehow this feels worse. Not haunted exactly, just…forbidden.
They finally reach the basement door and Zim pushes it open. It creaks open even slower than the front door did, revealing a much darker room.
           “Where’s the light?” Gaz asks.
“There isn’t one,” Zim replies as an electric torch pops out of his PAK, illuminating the area. It’s a completely empty room with a sudden drop near the opposite wall. Zim points to it. “The bomb is down there. I remember Johnny and Squee bringing me down there.”
They quickly cross the empty room and peer over the gap. There’s just a ladder leading down into more darkness.
“Right,” Tak grunts and nods at Zim. “After you.”
Zim glares at her for a second before descending the ladder. One by one, the others follow.
It’s only a couple feet to the bottom floor and they all look around as they hop off the ladder. They’re in another mostly empty room that leads to a large hallway, lit by flickering, fluorescent bulbs in the ceiling. Somewhere down the ladder, the normal drywall of the house changed to cement blocks that make up the entirety of the hallway. There are stains on the walls and floor that the kids try to ignore as Zim points to the only object in the room.
           “There it is,” he says.
The Blissful: a giant, round, silver bomb with a purple smiley face with closed eyes painted on it. Five feet in diameter and over 150 pounds, it is practically just a container sloshing with volatile, explosive liquid.
“It should fit in my cannon,” Tak says, “now, how do we get it out?”
“The same way I got it in,” Zim replies as he extends his spider legs. Using lasers, they cut out a large section of the ceiling and set it aside, creating a hole to the surface. The kids are all slightly relieved to see sunlight.
“Tak, you stay down here while I-,” Zim starts to explain before he’s cut off.
“Why do I have to stay in the creepy basement?” Tak snaps.
“What, are you scared?” he jeers.
           “Of course not.”
“Then stay down here while I lift everyone out,” Zim orders, “once I’m out, you’ll help me lift the bomb up to the surface and Dib can bring the Epic around.”
“Fine,” she huffs and eyes the spooky hallway. “Just…be quick.”
Dib, Gaz, and Pepito hold onto Zim’s spider legs as he lifts them all up to the surface. Then he crouches next to the hole and lowers his spider legs down.
“Okay, Tak, gently lift the bomb and pass it to me,” he demands.
She seems to ignore him as she stares suspiciously down the hall.
           “Tak,” he says louder.
“What?” she questions, looking at him. “Oh. Right.”
Using her spider legs, Tak gently lifts the Blissful and passes it to Zim. He carefully lifts it through the hole and rests it on the ground.
“Alright, Dib get the car,” Zim orders. Dib nods and quickly hurries around the houses back to the street. “Tak, let’s go.”
Again, she doesn’t reply. She just stares down the hallway, her eyes narrowing.
“Tak!” Zim snaps but she doesn’t hear him.
Far down the hall, a bloodied hand slaps down on the floor just barely in view, clawing at the stone. An inhuman groan echoes off the walls.
Tak’s eyes widen and her spider legs shoot up, hoisting her out of the hole.
“Seal it, hurry,” she orders frantically.
Not knowing what she saw, Zim is slightly taken aback, but nevertheless he obliges. He quickly picks up the section of the ground and slips it back into its hole.
With the basement sealed off, everyone suddenly feels more at ease, and they heave a heavy sigh.
“Okay. Let’s agree to never go down there again,” Gaz says and everyone nods.
After Dib comes around with the Epic, Tak looks at Zim and asks, “now what?”
“Now is the really tricky part,” Zim replies, “you and I are gonna have to ride on the roof and hold the Blissful steady while Dib flies to your place.”
“Good luck with that,” Pepito comments as he and Gaz get into the car. Then Zim and Tak climb onto the roof. With their bottom two spider legs, they hold onto the vehicle while the top two hold the Blissful in between themselves.
“Okay, Dib, take it slow and steady,” Zim orders.
Dib carefully raises the Epic into the sky and flies slowly over the buildings. Everyone is tense during the ride. If they drop the bomb, it could very well decimate the city. Dib just tries to focus on keeping the car steady and hopes a bird doesn’t fly into them.
Thankfully, they reach Tak’s base with incident and Dib parks on the curb. Everyone gets out while Zim and Tak carefully lower the Blissful to the ground.
“Alright, ready up your cannon,” Zim orders.
“Already on it,” Tak replies as she grabs a remote from her PAK and pushes a button.
The roof of her house folds up as a giant, silver gun rises up on a tall pedestal. In front of the gun is seat with a monitor and control panel. Tak pushes another button on the remote and a space opens up at the bottom of the pedestal, just big enough for the Blissful.
“Let’s load it up,” Tak says and they shove the big bomb inside and seal the door. As it rises up the pedestal and loads into the cannon, she climbs up to the monitor and sits in the chair. Zim quickly follows her and hangs off the side to watch, leaving Dib, Gaz, and Pepito to stare up at them.
“Okay, just have to find the ship,” Tak muses. As she searches through coordinates on the control panel, the monitor displays different parts of space until finally landing on the familiar, grey ship.
“They’ve blasted a hole into Jupiter!” Zim cries, “we have to hurry.”
“Locking on,” Tak says and a crosshairs appears over the ship on the monitor. “Let’s hope this works.”
She hits the big, red ‘FIRE’ button and a loud *boom* echoes over the city as the Blissful is shot out. The kids watch it fly into the sky until it disappears.
It breaks through the atmosphere, the friction causing its volatile fluids to heat up, and flies through space at an extremely high velocity. The passengers on the ship just barely see it coming.
The explosion can be seen from Earth as a star that lights up then quickly dies out. The Battalion immediately erupt into cheers, jumping up and punching the air.
“I can’t believe that actually worked,” Gaz remarks.
“I knew it would!” Dib grins.
“I cannot wait to tell Squee about this,” Pepito exclaims.
While they celebrate, Zim and Tak watch the explosion on the monitor, satisfied with the smoke that fills the screen. But as they start to hop off, Tak notices something.
           “Wait,” she says, “something’s happening.”
Zim looks back at the screen just in time to see five objects exit the smoke.
           “The passengers survived,” he snarls.
“They must’ve used escape pods,” Tak exclaims as they look up at the sky.
Dib, Gaz, and Pepito don’t realize right away that something’s wrong until Gaz notices the Irkens. “Something’s wrong,” she says.
They all look up and watch for something. For a second, nothing happens. And then they see five things appear in the sky.
“They’ve broken through the atmosphere!” Zim exclaims.
They watch the objects plummet like tiny particles in the distance, each landing in a different spot. Then Zim and Tak jump to the ground.
“We got an alien invasion,” Zim declares, “one of them seemed to have landed not far from the city. If we leave now, we might catch them.”
The others nods and they quickly clamber into the Epic and take off. Zim flies them quickly towards the site of the closest crash. As they near it, they spot a plume of smoke.
A small, round pod has crashed into field just outside the city, causing a small crater. The Epic lands and the Battalion hops out, weapons at the ready, just as the hatch opens.
Out tumbles a short, black alien with a pair of large, compound eyes and four spider-like legs. She hasn’t noticed the Battalion yet as she coughs and picks herself up.
“Hey, I know you!” Pepito exclaims, “it’s Uu!”
The alien looks up at them in surprise before crying out in an alien language. She attempts to scramble back into the pod, but Zim’s and Tak’s spider legs lash out and grab her. They hold her overhead, and she glares at them.
“You’re one of Carcas’ soldiers,” Zim says.
Gaz groans exhaustedly as she rests a hand on her hip. “I hope Squee’s at least having a good day.”
--
Most mornings start early in Cammie’s house; especially when the smell of waffles is wafting down the hall. Everyone quickly gathers in the kitchen as Squee readies their breakfast.
“I hope they’re good,” he says as they dig in.
“So good,” Johnny chimes with a mouthful.
“Crispy outside, fluffy inside,” Cammie remarks.
“You should do the cooking more often,” Thomas comments.
The Night Terrors are too busy quickly stuffing their faces to say anything, which is complimentary enough.
Squee beams happily before sitting down to enjoy his own breakfast.

Zim/Dib x Magical Girl Reader Chapter 3
First chapter  Previous
Chapter 3 is finally here! I’m having a ton of fun with @brookelim2001 ‘s Magical Girl reader request!
I finally managed to get to the fun stuff and it’s only going to get more wild from here!
Zim let out a growl as he followed you and Dib into the lunchroom. He had no idea why he cared so much about you hanging out with Dib. Nobody ever believed him and he tended to creep most students out.
However, just seeing Dib, heck any other student, near you was enough to make Zim’s blood boil.
Zim hated how upset he got whenever he saw you hanging out with anyone else. Why should he care about who you spend your time with? It didn’t affect him nor his plans in any way. So what was the problem?!
Zim decided to grab some ‘lunch’ and sit down at a table in front of Dib’s.
He snarled as he watched the two of you chat and eat together.
“Stupid squirmy Dib…How dare he try to take what’s-No! Look at me! So the Y/N has decided to hang out with the Dib-stink, big deal! I won’t get worked up over some pitiful human taking interest in someone other than Zim! I won’t- I….” Zim trailed off as he continued to watch you eat with Dib.
Zim’s face fell as he slumped in his seat. It wasn’t fair! Why was Dib getting all of your attention?!
He felt like his insides were in a blender! Where did all of these feelings come from?! You clearly did something to him but why couldn’t he find out what it was?!
Zim let out an enraged growl as he stormed out of the lunchroom. Clearly, he needed a new plan to find out what you did him.
Meanwhile, you begun to tell Dib about what happened to the talisman.
“It’s so crazy! I was just holding it and bam! It changed color! Look!” You insisted as you held up the now pink talisman.
“Wow! The talisman’s instruction manual didn’t say anything about a color change! Maybe it’s absorbing whatever alien chemical Zim injected you with.” Dib mused as he inspected the talisman.
“I guess so. Anyway, I really can’t thank you enough for helping me. I’m sorry I didn’t believe you at first.” You smiled as you took another bite of your lunch.
“Eh, it’s alright. I’m used to people not believing me. I’m just glad I managed to get through to someone.” Dib sighed as he continued to eat as well.
“You know, I’ve actually always believed in aliens. I just didn’t think they’d ever want to come to Urth.” You confessed as you rubbed the back of your head.
Dib nearly spat out his food.
“You believed in aliens this whole time?! And you never once thought that Zim might be an alien?!”
“Well, I mean sure Zim looks a little weird but I didn’t want to make assumptions. Like I thought he just had a skin condition and probably got bullied a lot for it.” You explained as you continued to eat.
“Ugh. Look, I know everyone wants to be inclusive in all but Zim literally screams about ending mankind! You can’t tell me that’s something a normal human would do!” Dib whined as he gestured with his fork.
“You got me there. I’m surprised I didn’t really pick up on any of that stuff sooner.” You admitted as you nodded along.
“Well at least you understand now! If only the rest of the world could wake up too…Then we could all work together and stop Zim before he destroys us all.” Dib pouted as he played with his food.
“Well, I’m pretty sure he won’t get that far. I mean it’s not like-Huh?”
You were cut off by a sudden vibration jolting through your body. The next thing you knew, the talisman begun to glow.
“What’s wrong, Y/N?”
“I think It’s the talisman. It’s shaking and glowing. Is that normal?” You asked as you gestured to the now glowing talisman.
“No. I don’t think it’s supposed to do that-OW!.” Dib tried to reach for the talisman but the glow burned his hand.
“Dib! Are you ok?” You squeaked as you covered your mouth.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I’ve had way worse. Something is definitely up with that talisman.” Dib cradled his hand.
You were about to respond when the ground started to shake. The water in your cup rippled as the sound of loud stomping grew louder and louder.
BOOM!
A massive mech burst through the lunchroom! The impact caused both you and Dib to fall under the table.
“Where is Y/N?!” Zim’s voice bellowed from the mech.
“What the?! No! That can’t be Zim!” You hissed as you hugged your knees.
“It is Zim, Y/N! And it sounds like he hasn’t finished his experiment yet!” Dib insisted as he tried not to hit his head.
“Well what are we gonna do?!”
“Don’t worry, I’ll think of something. Just hang tight and try to stay hidden.” Dib instructed as he pulled out his laptop.
“Ugh. It’s time like these I wish I could just transform into some kind of hero-Huh?”
The talisman rattled as it begun to glow even brighter as a small voice rung out.
“Wish granted…”
FSHHH!
“What’s going on-WOAH!”
You were whisked away by hundreds of bright pink butterflies. Golden stars and dark pink clouds surrounded you as your body glowed bright white.  The talisman flew off your neck and transformed into a massive, glowing pink ribbon.
You let out a gasp as the glowing pink ribbon spun you around and raised your arms above your head.
PWINK!
The ribbons formed a frilly hot pink dress with light pink accents.
PLINK!
POP!
A black sash wrapped around your waist and popped into a cute bow.
“Woah! Woah! Hey! Take it easy!”
FWISH!
FWISH!
One by one, the ribbons lifted up your legs and formed matching frilly black boots.
FWISH!
FWISH!
The ribbons swirled around your arms and formed matching, black arm length gloves.
“Hey this is actually kinda fun now” You giggled as you playfully swiped your hands above your head.
FWHIP!
FWHIP!
FWISH!
Two curly black antennas sprouted from your head and your hair turned bright green.
PLINK!
POP!
You dragged a hand across your forehead and a bright red pair of tiara-like goggles appeared.
FWHINK!
You hunched forward as a pair of wings burst from your back.
You stretched out your wings to reveal their shimmering, gold and pink hues.
SWISH!
POP!
The talisman formed a small, light pink bow and attached itself to the center of your chest.
More butterflies swirled around you, encasing you in a bright pink cocoon.
FWHEE!
You burst free from the cocoon and struck a pose.
Soon the stars, butterflies, and clouds faded away as you completed your metamorphosis.
“Aww, it’s over already?”
Dib’s eyes nearly burst out of his glasses as his jaw hit the floor.
“Hey! Wait! What just happened?! And who are you?!” Zim demanded as he hopped out of the mech.
“Huh?! It’s me….Um” You trailed off a bit as you begun to debate on whether or not to tell Zim who you truly were,
“Well?! Who are you?”
“I am-”
“Who are you?!”
“I am-”
“Who are you?!”
“I am-”
“Who are you?!”
“I AM…um…Space Butterfly! Yeah I’m Space butterfly! And I’m here to put a stop to..whatever it is you’re trying to do!” You stuttered as you put your hands on your hips.
“Stop me?! HA! I don’t think so!”
And with that, Zim hopped back into the mech.
“BEHOLD MY MISSILE LAUNCHERS!” Zim cackled as he charged up the mech’s lasers.
You let out a scream and crossed your arms in front of yourself to prepare for impact.
POP!
A bright pink barrier appeared around you.
PEW!
PINK!
The mech’s missiles didn’t even touch you.
“What the?! No matter! Have some of this!” Zim sang as he slammed down onto another button.
PEW!
The mech fired a purple laser beam straight for you!
You smirked, pushed out your arms, and held out your hands.
“Try me, you cosmic cockroach! Butterfly..attack..thing!”
POW!
You summoned a massive pink energy blast.
Your pink energy slammed into Zim’s purple laser just moments before it vaporized you.
After a few minutes of struggling, your pink energy overpowered Zim’s laser.
SMACK!
CRASH!
Your energy sent Zim’s laser flying back to him, causing the mech to slam into the wall.
Zim groaned for a moment before pressing a few more buttons.
The mech slowly got up and shook off the debris.
“Now it’s my turn to have some fun!” You sang as you lowered your goggles.
Your goggles helped you lock onto the mech’s weak point as you held your fingers out like a gun.
PEW!
PEW!
PEW!
PEW!
With four quick blasts, the mech was knocked back onto its rear.
“HEY! NO FAIR!” Zim whined as he begun to mash buttons.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
“DANGER, MECH OVERLOADING!” Zim’s computer bellowed.
“BE QUIET!
Zim continued to mash button after button, causing more and more warning sirens to go off.
“Time to put this toy back in its box!” You giggled as you threw your hands above your head.
“Butterfly…energy BLAST!”
A massive ball of bright pink energy swirled in your hands.
FWISH!
SLAM!
CRASH!
The moment the energy ball made contact with Zim’s mech, the room went white.
When the dust settled, all that remained was a defeated Zim sitting in a pile of scrap metal.
Zim groaned and held his throbbing head.
“Ha! Looks like I stopped you after all!” You gloated as you jumped in front of him.
Zim’s PAK sparked a bit as his face turned a darker shade of green.
“Now are we gonna do this the easy way or the hard way?” You smirked as you triumphantly loomed over him.
Zim shook away his infatuation and jumped to his feet.
“Foolish…whatever you are! Do you really think you’ve won?!”
“Um, yeah. I mean, I destroyed your mech. I’m pretty sure you’re done here.”
“HA! What if I told you that my real plan was to…um..Make a mess of the skool cafeteria! Yes! That was my real plan! So HA! In your face!” Zim stuttered as he snapped a finger in your face.
“Sure it was.”
“And now you have to clean up the mess!” Zim cackled as he ran off.
“Coward!” You called after him as you stomped your foot,

Pills (Chapter 23)
(2187 words (not to happy about that))
To say the Tallest were surprised the see Skoodge would be an understatement. Not only were they startled to see him, but they were astonished to see him in one piece.
Not that it mattered, Skoodge was alive and now they had to deal with him.
"We could just throw him out the airlock." Purple suggested as the two laid in the lounging room.
Red, who was resting vertically on the couch, a bag of chips in his lap, shook his head.
"That's your solution to everything."
"Yeah but it's a good solution. Quick, effective, and easy to forget." Purple shot back. The purple-clad Irken was laying on his back in a mess of pillows and blankets, staring up into the ceiling.
"Yeah, it also completely terrifies the crew. You DO realize how apprehensive everyone is around us right?" Tallest Red glanced at his co-ruler.
"So? They should be."
Red shook his head. "Irken's are supposed to strike fear into the hearts of OTHERS, not other Irkens."
Tallest Purple rolled his eyes. "Sound's stupid."
"Whatever, we're getting off-topic. We still need a position for Invader Skoodge." Red spoke with a mouthful of chips.
"Yeah, airlock!"
"No!" Red sighed and rubbed his temples.
"Why not just turn him into another food-service drone, oh why not a butler?! I've always wanted one of those!" Purple chipped.
"You have six." Red droned.
"Yeah, but it never hurts to have more."
"Irk, sometimes I wish you would just take these things seriously!" Red tossed the bag of chips at the other.
"Hey! I take DO take these things seriously! Not my fault that my methods are superior to yours!"
"Do you even know what superior means?"
Purple sputtered. "Uh duh! It means 'Tallest Purple is the coolest and Red is stupid'!"
"Now that's just the dumbest thing I've ever heard." Red sat up and crossed his arms.
"You're face is the dumbest thing I've ever heard!" Purple picked up on a smaller pillow and threw it at Red, smacking him back.
Said Tallest snarled, "That's it!" He lounged out and grasped his purple compadre by his neck and smacked his head against the floor.
"Hey! No fair!" Purple shrieked and grabbed a hold of Red by his ribs and pinched causing the Tallest to let up just enough for his counterpart to escape from underneath him and pin him down on his chest with his arm forced behind him.
Red may have been the more critical thinker of the two, but Purple was definitely stronger.
Their brawl was interrupted by a sudden knock at the door.
Wanting to keep their dignity, Purple stood up as did Red. They straightened up and dusted themselves off before glaring at each other. They only stopped when Purple noticed Red's left antenna what bent awkwardly from the scuffle.
"Hold still." Purple grabbed Red's chin and forced him to look down while he straightened the appendage.
"Hrk!" Red was surprised at first but when Purple released him and noticed what he had done and smiled.
"Thanks, Pur."
Purple smiled back, but their moment was interrupted by another burst of harsh knocks.
"Who is it?!" Tallest Purple screamed.
"My Tallest, I hope I am not interrupting." A gruff voice came from the other side of the door.
"Oh, of course not Doctor, please come in." Tallest Red had a look of relief on his face.
The double doors opened revealing the good Doctor.
"My Tallest." He greeted.
"Any updates on that project of yours." Tallest Red asked.
"Sadly, progress is pretty slow due to my lack of help but I should have a defiant answer soon enough." The Doctor nodded.
"That's a shame. We were just talking about what were are going to do with Skoodge and-"
"Wait. I apologize for interrupting my Tallest but did you just say Skoodge? Invader Skoodge?" The Doctor nearly squealed.
"Uh yes? What about him?" Purple didn't like the look in the Doctor's eyes.
"My Tallest, if it is no objection to you, I'd like to have Skoodge be my personal assistant."
"Skoodge? Really? What about those dozens of other scientists you got in your lab?" Red inquired.
"Please my Tallest. I ask so little of you..." The Doctor bowed his head. "Invader Skoodge is just the Irken I need."
"Eh alright. If it gets him out of our antennae." Purple shrugged.
"Yes, thank you my Tallest. You truly are the most generous beings in the universe." The Doctor bowed once more, partly to show respect but mainly because he needed to hide that smirk on his face.
"Yeah, yeah, you can leave us now." Purple made a shooing motion with his hand.
The Doctor nodded and obliged. As soon as the room's number was back to two the Tallest let out a pent up shake.
"Irk! That guy gives me the creeps!" Purple exclaimed.
"I know what you mean." Red agreed.
The two, with a sigh, went back to their places on the couch and floor respectively.
Unknown to them as the Doctor was walking away from the door, hands behind his back, a dark smirk crossed his lips.
The Tallest were idiots, the drugs that the Doctor had been mixing in with their food didn't help but all the same. They were morons and had just given him a just edge he needed. Control the Tallest and you control everyone.
Now in his lab, the Doctor began to tidy up. Not for the sake of his guest mind you, but for the fact that he didn't need Skoodge poking around and seeing something that he really shouldn't.
"Doctor? He's here." One of the guards informed him.
"Ah yes, send him in. You can leave us." The guard nodded in acknowledgment and left the room.
Less than 2 minutes later Skoodge opened the door nervously.
No, he was not afraid of this monster but being so close to him was nerve-wracking. Calm down Skoodge, try to act like your drugged up self.
"Um? D-Doctor?"
"Hello, Skoodge." The Doctor turned to face him.
"Wha-what am I doing h-here?" Skoodge's uncertainty was bleeding through his act.
"Why, because you're my new assistant now."
"What?!"
The Doctor smirked and walked around the stumpy Irken.
"Yes, so we'll have lots of time to get to know each other." The Doctor's tone was terrifying, how could Zim have dealt with this as long as he had?
Skoodge gulped.
"Now, let's get started shall we?"
"Uh, Doctor are you sure I'm right for this job? I've never really had experience in a lab." Skoodge wanted to shrink away from the sudden glare he received from the Doctor that was quickly replaced with a soft but sinister smile.
"Oh don't worry. I promise you'll do just fine."
-Back to the present-
Skoodge stood beside the Doctor as he worked, holding a tray of tools for him. The Doctor was hunched over his station tinkering away and occasionally picking up a tool from Skoodge's tray. On the Doctor's workbench was a collar and a remote, the devices he had been working on for the past hour. Skoodge had no idea what they were for but at this point, he was too scared to ask.
Skoodge was pretty sure that the Doctor knew he wasn't on his medication. But if that was the case, why hadn't the doctor put him back on it? Was it just to watch him squirm? Skoodge wouldn't put it past the guy. The good Doctor was always a shifty guy. Who always got his way.
Skoodge would run if he didn't think the creep was up to something.
"Gah! This isn't working. Skoodge hand me my drink."
Skoodge was snapped out his thoughts and set down the tray on the desk and rushed to the minifridge to get the Doctor's drink. The taller Irken hardly ever had the time to go out and get some sort sustenance so having a minifridge a nice convenience. Setting the drink on the Doctor's desk, Skoodge picked up the tray.
The Doctor, taking a break from his task, takes his drink his drink from Skoodge. He gives him a curt "Thank you" before picking up his notebook and began to read. Skoodge had no idea what was in the unmarked, blue cans that the Doctor was always drinking, but they seemed to provide him with all the nutrients he needs because he never eats or drinks anything else.
The Doctor takes a sip and sets the drink down to turn the page of his notebook before looking forward, away from the notes suddenly.
"Skoodge?"
"Yes, sir?"
"I need you to get my-hnk!" Before he could finish the Doctor's left arm started shaking, knocking his drink off the desk, spilling its contents.
"Gah!" The Doctor gripped his arm his breath hitching in fear and panic.
"Sir are you alri-?"
"I'm just FINE!" The Doctor cut him off with a snarl.
Skoodge took a step back, while the Doctor tried to regain control of his arm by grabbing it with his right hand.
"Skoodge." The Doctor was talking through his teeth in obvious pain.
"Go get me my syringe. Now."
Skoodge bolted out of the room to fetch said tool. In the back room was a box full of syringes. Skoodge grabbed a few and rushed back to the taller Irken and got to work. The Doctor had these 'problems' often and had taught Skoodge just what to do.
If Skoodge was anymore sadistic he would have left the Doctor to suffer, but he wasn't. He helped the Doctor time and time again and tried to keep his curiosity at bay to keep his head on his shoulders.
When he got back in the room the Doctor was now on the floor curled up in a back with a swollen arm clutched tight to his chest.
Skoodge helped the Doctor sit up and held his arm out. He turned it so that the underside was up and grabbed one of the needles.
Ignoring the Doctor's growls and whimpers Skoodge injected the needle in the inner elbow, where many other previous holes occupied. He then pulled the plunger back and began to suction the fluid that had been making his arm swell. It was clear and lime green. It thick like jelly and there was a lot of it. Once the first syringe was full Skoodge stuck in the next one. He did this 5 more times before the doctor told him to stop.
"But there's still some in there." Skoodge tried to but in, but the Doctor simply held his other hand to stop Skoodge.
"The swelling is gone. That is all we need, just clean the wound please." He asked softly.
Skoodge sighed and grabbed his medkit from his pak and began to tend and bandage the wounds.
Once he was done, the Doctor grabbed the syringes and placed them in a safe on one of the higher shelves Skoodge couldn't reach.
"Now, where were we?" The Doctor sat down at his desk and began to tinker once more as if nothing happened.
If you asked Skoodge would have no answers for what just happened. This was the third time this week.
The Doctor would be fine one minute, then the next he was shaking and swelling up and Skoodge would have to help him. But the Doctor never let him get all of it out for some reason. What also concerned skoodge was the fact that the Doctor never bled during these procedures. All that came out was that thick stuff.
What was that stuff and why did the Doctor keep it in a safe? More importantly, why was his body producing so much of it?
Skoodge sighed, not expecting the answers to come to him any time soon and takes his spot beside the Doctor, holding his tray of tools.
Gaz sat on the couch with her dad, the TV was on but Gaz was too immersed into her GS2 to watch. When the theme for Mysterious Mysteries started playing.
"Say your brother is coming back today isn't he?" Her dad asked.
"Yeah, I guess so." She responded apathetically not looking up from her game.
"I do hope he had a nice time with his little green friend."
"Eh. I'd be surprised if they both came back alive."
"Oh, honey. You always were the funny one!" The Professor laughed and rubbed his daughter's hair in the process.
"Yeah, whatever." Gaz swats his hand away and stood up. "I'm going to go get a snack."
"Alright, honey." The Professor watched his daughter leave before turning his attention back to the T.V., he then reached down for the remote and changed the channel.
(Hello, I'm really sorry for this late AND short chapter. But with school, homework, and family life I keep losing time to continue writing this. I promise to keep updating this but the spaces between might be longer than usual. Aside from that, I'd love to receive feedback and theories about this book. It's the comments that keep me writing this emotional rollercoaster of a story.)

"DIB! BEHIND YOU!!"
A loose laser blasts Dibs back dead on, sending a deadly shock through his body, making him scream before going completely limp. Collapsing forward, Dib falls off the railway. Being knocked around by a few wall ridges on his way down before hitting the ground like a ragdoll with a horrible thud.
Completely filled with adrenaline, Zim's Pak sprinted into action. His mechanical spider legs took short care with the large alien he was fighting. He maneuvered their body and used it to jump off the railway towards Dib. With the feeling of thin wind rushing around his body, Zim's pak legs with an ear bleeding shriek dug into the stainless steel wall of the giant spaceship corridor all the way down near Dib. He unclings himself from the wall, leaving behind incredibly thin, but deep claw scars on the wall and dashing towards Dib.
"Come on Stink-Beast! What are you doing?! Get up!!" Zim commands the body, only to remain completely still. Checking the perimeter, the sights and sounds of more guards fills his skin with fear. Zim holds his palms to his temples with a frustrated groan and picks Dib up over and around his chest.
The spider legs spring into action again, quite literally, and he jumps his way up towards the wall away from the guards. Somehow being able to get a good distance up while being shot at, Zim uses one of his Pak legs to pierce and cut through the metal plating of the wall like fabric, and burrows into a now visible vent within the ship. Like a desperate caged animal, he sprints into the darkness without a single ounce of hesitation.
Everything got darker, the sounds of the gunshots began to slowly fade away as he scampered through the tight vents like the little insect he was. However, they were still far from safe. Scanning through the system of tunnels, Zim finally finds a decently sized pocket where there was little risk to being found or ambushed. A good place to stop and regain themselves, if not for only a few minutes. Zim with a whiny grunt, practically tosses Dib into a circular crevice in the wall, acting as at least a functional seat. He was still unconscious. His coat was singed and smelled of smoke. Robotic legs retract and fold back into Zim's Pak and Zim takes the now more cleared up space to get closer to and investigate Dib.
"You can't trick me Dib-pest! You stupid human, there's no time to rest! The Great Powerful Zim demands you rise for him at once!!" Zim screams, shaking his head and fists in frustration at the lifeless body. Taking this as a challenge, he continues to work himself up and argue with Dib's body.
He yells, he insults, he does everything he can, but still… nothing.
No matter how much he tries to pick a fight with him, silence still remained. As Zim's voice echoes with an eerie gust through the metals pathways, Dib remains still. The deafening silence in response to his pleas stabs Zim's chest with a sharp claustrophobic shock, making him feel like he's shrinking. As if everything is suddenly much bigger and dangerous now.
Zim paces in an anxious march across the small confinement, contemplating the situation. Anxiety continues to grow like spikes in his chest as he tried to think of a way out of this feeling. Zim has never seen Dib be this quite before, so… unlike himself. It disturbed him. Not only does he have absolutely no idea what to do, but he doesn't have anyone else with him to prove otherwise. He was alone. He was terrified.
Zim, gently pulls Dibs coat off to get a better look at the damage. As he took it off, the back of the coat put up a little more of a fight, and peeled across his body like a gross bandage then any kind of fabric, leaving behind a smoky burnt mark on his shirt and body. Zim cringes anxiously and tosses the now ruined coat behind him.
He attempts to fight him once again as he gets to work on treating the wound. "Come on Dib, this isn't fair! I agree to form a meaningless alliance cause I take pity on you, and this is how you repay me!!" ...silence followed again, Dib's lifeless expression remaining still. A slight chill runs down Zim's back and he continues. "If this is supposed to be what your Earth concept, friendship, is supposed to be, then I'd say this is a lousy example of what you previously explained it to me as!" It was clear no matter how much he shout, it didn't do a thing.
"You… you are getting up soon right?". "...Dib? ...Dib. Dib we have to go now!"
Zim reaches back for the opening. He's so used to leaving humans behind, even Dib. This shouldn't be so hard. Yet when he looks out into the dark abyss of what's to come, his legs freeze in place. Every infamous rumble and disturbing sound shakes the walls and sends Zim one step closer backward, back towards Dib. The ship feels like it's grown hundreds of times in size, complexity, and darkness, and the thought of having to navigate through it completely alone makes Zim's eyes sting.
He turns back toward Dib, shaking, and what were once insults and demands devolve into desperate pleads and whimpers. "You can't leave me here Dib, you have to come back! You have to!" His body shakes more intensely. Now leaning towards Dib, he crumbles closer to the ground. Tears swell in his eyes as he fights his sobs. "Dib!... Dib…" Zim's voice finally grows faint. He clenches his head in strife, he can't fight off the anxiety any longer. Tears fall as Zim is now completely worn down into a ball of fear. He feels the whole world around him go dark, disappear. Nothing but him and his agony remained now.
Time feels to turn to stone, and Zim is left helpless. As he squints his eyes tighter, a slightly warm presence fades him. A few incoherent mumbles makes his antenna prick up, and he suddenly feels he's being watched. Zim leans his head upward, his neck creaking with tension as he struggles to focus his eyes through the tears.
He finally anchors himself towards the presence in front of him however, and there he sees Dib. Sitting upward, looking straight at him with a frazzled expression.
Zim jumps backward instantly, and turns away from the human to wipe his eyes ferociously. There's no way he could've seen him like that!
Zim turns back with his previous fury returning stronger than ever. "WHAT CRUEL PATHETIC SKEME WAS THIS DIB?! YOU MANIPULATE ME TO YOUR CONTROL TO GIVE UP MY DIGNITY!"
"I DIDN'T MANIPULATE YOU TO DO ANYTHING!! I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT SHOT!" Dib's ever too familiar voice strikes back at him. Suddenly the air and light around Zim clears. The walls stop simultaneously growing and shrinking around him. Suddenly, even though now the pipes were filled with echoes of their shouting at each other. The silence had gone.
The silence was finally gone, and inside Zim's body he feels a warm, bittersweet wave of relief fill his chest.

(Invader Zim) How about the reader is able to turn into a wendigo like creature (you know, the thing with a deer skull and sharp teeth). The reader escaped from a lab that ran horrible tests on her. Dib knows her secret, but treats her like a friend. How would Zim react if he saw his s/o use her power for the first time?

Science is a curious subject, as are the people who study it. Some of science’s greatest minds are gentle beings, exploring the world with eager eyes whereas others are awful beasts with no time for petty concerns like morals or safety as long as they got the answers they sought. Maybe life wouldn’t be so bad if you were in the hands of the former, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case.
You stared pitifully out of your containment cell at the cramped laboratory that served as your prison, searching for any sign of your captor, who you’d never actually seen before, but only heard through the laboratory speakers. Suddenly, the cell filled with the knock-out gas you were all too familiar with. You groaned, falling to the floor, knowing that when you woke up, it would be for more painful experiments.

Dib was excited. As usual, nobody had believed him when he said he’d found evidence of Big Foot in the woods, but he knew that everyone was just ignorant of the truth and he was going to prove it. Although he’d initially planned to spend the day monitoring Zim, who’d been unusually quiet of late, Dib couldn’t after finding what could only be Big Foot’s fur and a trail of destruction leading out of the city.
After taking the last bus from the city to the final stop where the woods just began, Dib was ready to begin his adventure. Tugging on his backpack that contained all manner of things from his father’s workshop that he’d adapted to capture Big Foot, he spoke into the air with a steely determination, “I’m coming for you Big Foot.”
Hours into his trek, when the moon was high above him, Dib adorned his night-vision goggles, refusing to stop for even a moment to rest. If Mickey McNaddy had rested, would he have found a slough of the snake people? No, he would just be another nobody in a world full of nobodies. Dib would not be a nobody. He would be the world’s best Paranormal Investigator.
Dib spotted a nearby tree that had deep gouges in the bark. He eyed them carefully, surprised that Big Foot had claws; it was a scientific discovery he would be sure to share with the world. “Must be getting close now,” he said to himself.
While Dib forged ahead, Zim grinned evilly from within his lab, using camera drones to track his enemy. The trail of destruction leading Dib into the woods was a pure act of genius, any minute now and Dib would fall right into his trap.
“Yes, stinking fool boy, GO INTO ZIM’S TRAP OF ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION!” Zim screeched, laughing maniacally.
Dib jolted in the forest, as a guttural scream broke the peaceful sounds of nature around it. Such a sound could not belong to neither man nor beast; it was the sound of the supernatural. Elation trumping fear, Dib ran towards the scream.
“THIS IS IT BIG FOOT, I’M COMING FOR Y-” He froze at the sight that met him. It wasn’t Big Foot, it was something much, much worse. A lanky creature twice Dib’s size stood in a clearing. It had a sparse covering of fur over elongated limbs; the fur didn’t come close to matching the sample in Dib’s pocket. At the end of the creatures elongated hands were six-inch razor-sharp claws, and where its feet should have been were black cloven hooves, supporting its curved legs. Instead of a head, there was only a pure white deer skull with two black antlers protruding at the top.
Dib shook in place, realising that none of his tools would help him now. Everything he had was for use against Big Foot, he had nothing that would protect him from the wrath of a Wendigo.
With eyeless sockets, you, once a human, stared at the quivering boy before you. You tasted his soul, finding strength and curiosity beyond his years. Sensing no greed worth punishing, the Wendigo part of your mind opted not to attack.
Dib swallowed his fear, thinking through plans A-Z that might help him capture what might be the only Wendigo he’d ever seen in his life. He pointed at you, “S-Stop right there, Wendigo. I- Uh I will capture you.”
You opened your maw, revealing the sharp fangs of an apex predator. After letting out a low growl, you spoke, each word thick and gravelly as it struggled to come from a non-human mouth. “Back away boy, I have no quarrel with you, I simply wish to leave this place.”
“YOU CAN TALK! This is amazing, I mean, I’ve read about Wendigos but none of my research ever suggested- HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?”
Dib ran to catch up with you, annoyed that you were walking away from him, yet simultaneously excited that he could communicate with you and get everything he needed from the horse’s mouth so to speak.
“I’ve gotta ask, how did you become a Wendigo? Were you born one? Did you eat some human flesh? What can you do? Are there more of you? I thought you’d be taller. How long do Wendigos live? Do you need to sharpen your claws?”
You slashed the air in front of Dib, tearing part of his shirt but missing his flesh on purpose. “LEAVE PUP. I HATE QUESTIONS FROM FILTHY HUMANS.”
Dib stared at you bemusedly, “All right, first off that was my favourite shirt. Second, I’m not filthy. I bathed this morning, twice; once for Skool, and again after a fight with Zim.”
You jolted painfully, lurching forward and stumbling onto Dib for support. Dib fell to the ground under your weight, “Hey, you alright? Was it something I said? You know, if you let me take you to the TV studios where they film Mysterious Mysteries, I’ll make sure you get any medical treatment you need.”
You groaned, clawing at your skull as flesh grew over it. Slowly and excruciatingly, your bones broke, reforming into smaller ones as you returned to your original form. If Dib was less flabbergasted by the unique transformation from Wendigo to human, he would have been embarrassed by your lack of clothes. Instead, he rolled you off him, dropping his coat over you and pacing back and forth, mumbling to himself while you recovered from your stupor.
“…Incredible. A full metamorphosis. Note to self, find out the cause… and get some pizza to bribe Gaz into helping me. What would it take, I wonder…”
You wrapped yourself in the coat, feeling the return of your human senses. On shaky legs, you got up, moving slowly away from Dib so as not to draw attention to yourself. Unfortunately, Dib was not so dim-witted as to not notice your minor escape attempt. He grabbed your arm, handcuffing it to his own and stating simply, “You have to come with me now.”
“Let me go, boy,” You hissed pitifully, missing the threat that your wendigo side had.
“Quit calling me boy, you’re like the same age as me. My name is Dib and I’ll be the guy taking you to Mysterious Mysteries now, so get comfy.”
You toppled to the ground petulantly, “Not if I can help it.”
Despite his small size, Dib was strong from his multiple battles with Zim and as such, he had only a little trouble dragging you in the desired direction. “I’m sure you’ll love it when we get there. Look, you can decide how the interview goes and I’ll even let you pick out your own scientific name, but the world needs to know about you.”
You reached for a nearby sapling with your free hand, holding onto it so Dib couldn’t drag you any further. “I’m not going anywhere,” You screeched, holding him back.
“Why are you resisting? We could be famous.” He reached for your hand, trying to prise it from the tree.
“No, you could be famous. I’ll get stuck in another lab. I WON’T GO BACK!” You kicked your legs to show your rage.
Dib sat down next to you, “You mean you weren’t born like this?”
“No, I’m a human, you idiot!”
Dib ignored the insult, “What lab?”
“I dunno… it had a lot of wires, and I remember the colour red, but I didn’t see much from my cage.”
“Was there a tiny robot? Or an alien with green skin?!” He asked loudly with a sudden glint in his eyes.
You let go of your branch, sitting up moodily, “I. Don’t. Know. I didn’t see anyone in there. I was stolen from my home. I was experimented on. I was knocked out for everything. Then, I woke up a monster and I escaped.”
“How did you get out?”
You sighed, figuring that as long as you were talking, you wouldn’t be exposed on TV. “There was a loose bar on the cage, when I turned into the Wendigo, I tore it off.”
“And your transformations, you can control them?”
“Sort of… I get tired though. Now will you please let me go? I’m not here to be your discovery.”
Dib sighed, hating that he had to have a moral compass now of all times. Knowing that you were born a human meant he had an obligation to you as one of his own. Why did he have to swear an oath to protect humanity, no matter what? Just once, couldn’t he find a supernatural creature that didn’t escape or that wasn’t created by Zim.
“Okay…” He said quietly. “I’m going to tell you something and you have to believe me because it has everything to do with why you’re a Wendigo.”
You stared at him sharply, curious at what information he could possibly have that might help you.
“There’s this kid in my class, only he’s not a kid, he’s an alien. By what you’ve told me, he turned you into this.” Dib waited a moment, then frowned, the expression quickly turning into one of pure elation, “You’re not laughing! YOU’RE NOT LAUGHING AT ME! YOU DON’T THINK I’M CRAZY!”
You were pulled up quickly by Dib’s attempt at a happy dance, which quickly landed you on top of him. You growled annoyedly, the sound having little effect outside of your Wendigo form. Completely missing your social cue, Dib simply continued smiling to himself at the prospect of finding what was possibly the only other sane human in the city.
“Yeah, yeah, your guy is an alien,” You said hurriedly. “Let me outta these cuffs.”
“HOW CAN YOU NOT CARE? HE TURNED YOU INTO A WENDIGO!”
“YEAH!” You pushed Dib in the chest, making him stumble, though he didn’t fall. “So, I know exactly what he can do! All I want to do is leave and go somewhere he will never find me.”
“What if I can give you something more?”
You sneered, “What do you mean?”
“I mean what if I can help you find a cure or something?”
“…I’m listening.”
Dib was prepared to give a full-length speech on his plans to stop Zim, but sensing your anger he kept it short, having lost far too many audiences in the past. “I want to save the world from Zim. You can help me, mainly because you know what it’s like to be hurt by him and I’m willing to bet you wouldn’t want that for anybody else. In the meantime, you can live with me in my room and I’ll help you find a cure; my dad has a tonne of stuff that could help you.”
You scoffed, “Your dad, huh? What’re you gonna say to him? ‘Gee dad, I brought a Wendigo home, can I keep her?’”
“’Kay, that sounded nothing like me by the way, and we have no problems in the parental department; my dad’s never home.”
While you didn’t like Dib or his plan, you were stuck for options and so you reluctantly nodded. “Fine… Now take the cuffs off.”
Dib coughed embarrassedly, “Yeah, about that… I accidentally left it at home.”
It was your turn to sigh, “Idiot.”
While you and Dib walked side by side towards the bus stop, Zim stroked his chin from the confines of his lab, intrigued by the unusual turn of events. His plans hadn’t gone to accordance, but he sensed an opportunity even greater than his previous one, so long as he could be patient and try a few new experiments; one way or another, he would use you to destroy the filthy Dib creature.
Tumblr media
It had been exactly sixty-two days since Dib found you in the woods and your shaky alliance was formed in the heat of the moment. Since then, after watching him work on finding a cure for you, watching Mysterious Mysteries together whenever he came home from skool, and living with him in his room, you couldn’t deny that he’d grown on you, as you had to him. Whenever he danced now, you joined in, and instead of flinching from his touch, you leaned into it, trusting him intimately.
Sometimes, your Wendigo form got the better of you, forcing a transformation. In those times, you relied on him more than ever to keep you stable, helping you control yourself long enough to change back before you hurt someone. Mostly, you wanted to hurt Zim, who you still hadn’t officially met, though you had seen silent footage of him from Dib’s hacked city cameras. Occasionally however, you wanted to hurt the infamous Professor Membrane, Dib and Gaz’s father, for although you also hadn’t met him, you saw the pain Dib tried to hide when he achieved something great and there was nobody else there to praise him for it. You did what you could to cheer your friend up on those days, but you couldn’t ever make-up for a father’s love, or lack thereof.
You were actually thinking about whether you’d ever see the illusive Professor when you heard the skool bus outside. You ran outside, ignoring Gaz as she did you, to meet Dib, crushing him in a hug which he happily reciprocated, having got used to your usual displays of affection; being practically the only person you ever saw, it was hard not to grow attached to him in such a manner.
“How was your day? Did you see Zim? Did you fight? I want to hear everything.”
“Well actually, Zim was-” Dib looked over your shoulder, seeing a glint of silver high in the neighbour’s tree. “ZIM!” He glowered, upon spotting Zim’s robot, Gir.
Not caring that you were in public, you shifted, feeling the old wisdom seep into you as you traded your old flesh for the skull of the Wendigo. In an urge to protect you from your creator, Dib chased after Gir, jumping into the trees and pursuing him onto the rooftops, while you stopped to look around for its master.
You felt a small scratch penetrate the skin on your shoulder and turned unhurriedly to see Zim in his human disguise, only a few metres away with a blow-dart. You shrieked angrily, though Zim didn’t look the slightest bit intimidated.
“Funny how easy Dib can get distracted by the art of misdirection,” Zim said casually.
You tried to taste his soul but found nothing that you could discern; apparently, aliens were much harder to read than humans. Lacking your Wendigo senses, you opted to attack, baring your fangs and readying your claws to hack and slash.
Seeing your hands twitching, Zim shook his head, “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”
“Why not?” You hissed.
“Because, that blow-dart was full of nanobots, aimed to destroy you if you so much as get near me without my permission.” He chuckled proudly, “Quite genius if I do say so myself.”
“WHAT DO YOU WANT, MONSTER?”
“I want what you want. I want to help you.”
Despite what he’d told you about the nanobots, you considered attacking anyway, thinking it might be worth your life if you could take him down in time. “Help me? YOU MADE ME!”
“No, no, no. While you are impressive, if you were mine, I would have improved your reaction time and made you taller. See, that’s why I’m here, to fill you in on the truth.” With a flourish, Zim prepared himself for a dramatic reveal of the truth, “You see, I have found-”
High pitched, robotic laughter interrupted Zim, over his comm-link. “I’M BEING CHASED BY A MONKEY!”
“GIR! I TOLD YOU NOT TO INTERRUPT ME!”
“BUT I WANNA HEAR TOO.”
“NO! STICK TO THE PLAN AND KEEP THE PUTRID DIB CREATURE AWAY!”
“Awww… Okie dokie.”
The radio fell silent and Zim cleared his throat, pretending nothing had happened. “As I was saying, you presume me to be some evil alien and I ask, are you sure it’s me you should fear?”
You didn’t respond, waiting for what Zim had to say since he obviously wasn’t there to attack you and you could do nothing to get to him.
“I want you to think about Dib. Has he really found a cure for you or did he just make it look like that’s what he was doing? Don’t you think it’s a little coincidental that the night after you escaped, in the middle of nowhere, he just happened to find you and bring you to a place where he could train you?”
“What are you saying, alien?”
“I want to show you something I found. A little video of Dib’s creator. Disgusting pig creature,” He muttered under his breath, sliding a video pad over to you.
You pressed play on the video, falling eerily silent and deathly still as Professor Membrane spoke, cheerily explaining how metamorphosis worked and how he planned to artificially recreate it. It became glaringly obvious, Zim had never created you; Professor Membrane had. You knew that voice all too well. Glaring at it with vehement hatred, you destroyed the video-pad with a slash of your claws, making Zim grin evilly.
It was true, he never did create you. While he had set up a trap for Dib in the woods, it had gone undiscovered, but that no longer mattered to the Irken for he had found something much better.
Zim made himself look small and weepy, pouting slightly for effect, “Dib even turned you against me. I know I’m not from this planet but I’m not here to destroy it, I only wanted to save it. Please… Come with me. I might not be able to cure you, but I can at least save you from Dib.”
“I won’t be used again,” You growled.
“Of course, I would never dream of it. If you come with me now, I will release you, or you can work with me to defeat Dib… if you want.”
You glowered, needing revenge more than you needed the very air itself. You nodded once, waiting for Zim to deactivate the nanobots, and walking to his side when you did. Meanwhile, Zim was planning a million uses for you in his head, happy that he was now one step closer to conquering Earth.

Ch 13 School Trip
Protagonist Prep
All Characters belong to respective owners
Inside the school the kids were currently inside a strange room with the three teachers and Tech.
“Why are we here?” Sashi asked the three giving them a look of doubt, Drooler however had the perfect response to that question.
“We’re finally get to experiment on you.” He told the kids barely keeping a huge smiling on his face under control, however the kids took rather seriously as many of them getting into a battle stance. Drooler’s smile fell as he looked down to the ground.
“Guess I got to work on that.” He mumbled, luckily Zizzoro was quick to correct his cousin’s failed humor attempt.
“What he meant was that we are going on an interdimensional mission and you are coming with us.” Most of the students calmed down and now possessed looks of curiosity mixed with excitement, even though some have seen other dimensions they still seemed to be excited about seeing something new.
“Before we do though we got some gifts for ya.” Drooler told the kids, then Drooler, Behemoth, and Zizzoro reached behind their backs and pulled out some impressive equipment. In Droolers hands, all four plus their tail hands, he held five pieces of armor one looked similar to ancient Chinese armor, the second seemed to be crafted from golden dragon scales, third was a mix of a mages hood and knights armor, fourth looked similar to Amazonian armor and the last set of armor was almost a tech suit with Boone’s shock gauntlets built into it. He then gave the Chinese armor to Marco, golden dragon armor to star, Amazon armor for Sashi, mage armor for Penn, lastly tech armor went to Boone. All of the kids had looks of pure excitement as they donned their own armor, and each of them expressing thanks.
In Behemoth’s titanic hand he held five armors, for Steven he held a rose colored knights armor with a kite shield on the right arm, for Connie it was Karna Kavacha, Dibs was a black and teal light Calvary armor, Gaz’s armor was a dark wine colored plate armor, finally Zim’s armor was a magenta colored Laminar armor. As the kids took their armor from Behemoths hand, they noticed that each of their names were carved into their armor in cursive.
“I know it wasn’t necessary but I felt that it added a swell touch.” Behemoth told the kids with a gentle smile on his face, most of the kids were too excited to say anything to say anything and Zim was in shock that someone did something nice for him. Now for Zizzoro in hands as well as on his tail had a Hon Kozane dou in ladybug pattern, a black O-yoroi with a fur pattern with a cat mask, next was a Hon iyozane dou colored like a red fox even possessing a fox mask as well as ears, after that a Munemenui with forest colors spanning the armor complete with a kappa mask, after that was a Yoroi Katabira with a tiger pattern with a tail as well as a snarl mask, finally a Nanban Dou Gusoku with a bee pattern possessing a Jorogumo mask. When the kids took them off his hands and tail two certain blondes were over the moon with their new armor while the others gave smiles of thanks.
“If that’s all settled, I believe that we have some missions to complte.” Tech grumbled giving his seniors a rather annoyed glare, the three much taller creatures gave looks of slight looks of embarrassment their faces. Tech just rolled his eyes at his superiors but what could be done, he walked to the interdimensional gateway opener. Before we go further into the story it is rather imperative to discuss the interdimensional gateway opener, this impressive piece of the technology was made in the year 000000000000000000000057 and was used for primarily exploration; it wasn’t used for transportation or casual use until 000000000000000000000123 and------
“How much did Tech pay you for this?” Drooler asked with a raised eye ridge, and to answer that about 12,000 purites. So, after that embarrassing fiasco the teams began to line up behind each other ready to be transported to where their missions were located; first was Team Dimension stepped on to the platform bracing themselves for what would come.
“Alright, all of you are going to a dimension labeled 556-7934LH. Sir try not to burn anything to a crisp this time.” Tech exasperated as he began to type in the coordinates into the machine, while Drooler just mumbled something about politicians and dragons. Then a huge rainbowed portal ripped through the fabric of reality and creating whipping winds, Drooler just walked through the portal with no problem while the kids were slightly unnerved but did it anyway. Afterwards the portal closed Team Alien walked up to the machine and got ready for what their mission was.
“Ahhh, Behemoth the target a small cross dimension called 629-0023FS.” Tech told the titanic crocodile being who just gave him a thankful nod, then just like before a giant-sized portal opened up and the team walked straight on through. Lastly Team Miraculous went up to the gate way opener and stood before Tech.
“Zizzoro you and your little army is going to the dimension designated as 815-073KD try not to get angry.” Zizzoro just gave the bird like creature an annoyed look and Tech paled from the thoughts that Zizzoro was purposefully giving off. So he quickly entered the coordinates and another portal ripped through the paper of the dimensions and the team walked through it like it was a park. That left Tech at the gateway opener and was ready to give information or bring them back from the mission when it was done.
 --------Team Dimension’s Mission---------
Just outside the limits of Royal Woods everything seemed to be a calm and quiet evening, until the wind picked up almost creating a small tornado. It was chaos for a bit until a large rainbow colored hole in reality appeared and from that hole six figures appeared, five of the figures were kid sized while one seemed to be a giant. The air of mystery was ruined when one of the figures with curly bushy hair went to the bushes and threw up.
"Ugggh, I don't think I'll get used to that." The bushy haired figure moaned as he clutched his stomach.
"Didn't you travel through dimensions?" A long haired girlish figure asked in confusion.
"Not my body." The bushy figure answered as he felt something rising again.
"Enough, we've got a job to do so stomach problems are going to have to wait." The giant figure told the group.
"Why are we here exactly?" asked a pig-tailed girl figure.
"There's a breacher in our midst. We've come to track it down." said the giant figure.
"Can't we just chill for a minute? I mean, have you seen this place? It's beautiful man!" said a large, brown haired figure.
"There's no time for sightseeing! Let's move!" ordered the giant figure.
So what exactly are we looking for?" A pig tailed figure asked the giant with a hostile tone.
"How exactly are we going to get there?" The group could then hear a familiar growl of a car coming from down the road, the giant figure just gave smile as a plan formed in his mind. The giant figure walked into the middle of the road and waited, as the car sped towards the giant figure he jumped up and the car nailed him causing him to tumble on the road. The car screeched to a halt and the owner raced out not noticing the others in the bushes.
"Sir are you alright?" The owner asked, the giant's eyes snapped open, he rose up and then placed the owner's head in a sleeper hold.
"Yeah, but I'll need some collateral." The giant told the man and then knocked him out, as the owner fell to the ground the giant walked to the car and opened the doors.
"I believe that this is our ride."
"Sweet! I call shotgun!" exclaimed the large, brown haired figure.
"Just get in, before the owner wakes up" the giant told the brown haired figure.
The team piled in the car and sped off leaving the unconscious man behind. However, he woke up a short time later and called the police to report the crime. It was just early in the morning in the Loud House with many of the residents were snoozing away, enjoying the rest they needed after their last adventure. However, that peaceful rest was broken as one of the holo-pendants went off waking up the family from their restful snooze.
"Sometimes I really hate being a super hero." Lincoln groaned out.
"Suit up Louds! There's been a carjacking! We've got to catch up to the criminals responsible!" exclaimed Lynn Sr.
"Ugh...Dad, do all of us really need to go for this?" asked Lynn, feeling tired and lazy.
"Yes Lynn Jr.! We never know what we'll encounter when we're on a mission! Now, suit up! Everyone!" said Lynn Sr.
All the Louds suited up and hopped into Vanzilla, which turned into Thunderbolt with the push of a button.
"Lori, you'll be our eyes in the sky. Let us know if you spot anything." said Lynn Sr., over his communicator.
"Gotcha Dad. I'm literally on it." said Lori, as she flew above the rest of Super Thunder, who were riding in Thunderbolt.
While Super Thunder was getting ready Team Dimensions was driving through Royal Woods following an energy lead that could be a possible breacher, after 20 minutes they stopped at a rather sketchy pawn shop called 'Pawn for All'.
"So Sashi what ya got?" The giant figure asked the pig tailed figure who placed her right hand on her glasses, then a holographic display showing a glowing red dot signifying that there was interdimensional energy there.
"Alright, Sashi come from me everyone else stay in the car. Also Sashi remember if anything ever goes wrong don't try to do anything special." The giant figure told Sashi just rolled her eyes but nodded anyway, as they entered the pawn shop a rather greasy owner came out from the back.
"Greetings and welcome to Pawn for All, what would you like to buy or pawn?" The owner asked the two.
"Just looking for now." The giant figure told the owner who seemed a bit annoyed at that proclamation but said nothing, as the duo looked through the selection Sashi got a spike from a sapphire pouch with a round object in it. However they were interrupted by an unwelcome guest, which was a matted dark brown haired teenager in a ruined sweatshirt and shifty eyes. The teenager took out a revolver and pointed it at the owner as well as at the duo.
"Everybody hands in the air!!"The teenager yelled out which the owner and giant did so, but Sashi seemed to be a bit defiant but a glare from the giant caused her to raise her hands.
"Easy son, just let us grab what we want and we'll be on our way. We won't even tell the cops and I'm pretty sure that the owner is too scared to." The giant offered which caused the robber to think for a bit causing Sashi to rush forwards ready pummel the robber, but he noticed her and got ready to fire. Faster than the speed of light the giant figure grabbed Sashi and enveloped in a hug and when the robber finally did fire the bullets just bounced off his skin. The giant let out an unearthly growl as he turned to the robber, who tried to fire the gun again but he got the same result and the giant just stomped forwards with murder in his eyes. He punched the robber in the face and the followed up with a strong elbow to the robber's forearm breaking it, finally delivered a strong punch to his chest breaking a few ribs. The giant then walked to the display case and then punched the case stealing the pouch, the duo then walked out of the store and drove off. Meanwhile with Super Thunder...
*Lynn Sr's cellphone rings*
"Hello?...What?! Okay, we're on it! *hangs up* Change of plans guys! There's just been a robbery at the pawn shop! But these aren't ordinary subjects..." said Lynn Sr.
"I hope its not another mutation incident." said Lisa.
"Didn't we lock those guys up?" asked Lynn.
"They could've escaped. They do have powers now." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, well I'll just give them the ol' Powerhouse fist! That should stop 'em!" said Lynn.
"Hey guys! I see the car that was reported stolen heading west!" said Lori, via communicator.
"Copy that honey." said Lynn Sr., as he and the rest of Super Thunder started heading West. As Team Dimension raced down the road the giant figure noticed that they were being followed.
"Ok, kids I'm going to do something that may or may not turn us inside out." The kid's eyebrows shot up in the air but before they could object the giant began to chant in a strange language.
"Bijoed mo pajravii xudro az dast nadihem va rohi pinhon kardanro pajdo kunem!" Then flames began to wrap around the group and one by one they disappeared into thin air. The giant was the last one to go, unfortunately that meant that the car was now out of control.
"Guys! The car is out of control! We need to stop it!" said Lori, via communicator.
"I'm on it!" said Lynn, who used the ejector function on her seat to launch herself out of the van, and into the air.
She landed in front of the approaching car and used her super strength to stop it in its tracks. When she did so however, she made a surprising discovery.
"Uh...guys? There's no one in the car." said Lynn, via communicator.
"What? That doesn't make any sense. The car couldn't have been driving itself." said Rita.
"Maybe it was. It could've been controlled by an other-worldly spirit." said Lucy.
 "Other worldly?" asked Leni confused.
"She means ghosts dude." said Luna.
 "GHOSTS?!" shrieked Leni in terror.
"Wow! This car's a real AUTOMATIC! Hahahaha! Get it?" joked Luan.
 Everyone groaned as usual.
"Look, we don't have time to joke right now guys! We have to find those escaped criminals! We're back on the search Louds!" said Lynn Sr., as he drove forward once more in Thunderbolt. Far from Super Thunder in an abandoned warehouse a small ball of flames sparked to life moving like a rapid stream, until the six figures fell out onto with some dull thuds and groans.
"Flame travel, I thought only worked in places you knew?" A blonde haired girl asked the giant.
"I've been to a place like this before, but I believe that the real question is what where you thinking?!" The giant yelled out at Sashi disappointment clear in his voice and anger displayed on his brow. Sashi seemed to have flinched from the disappointment but she stood her ground against the giant.
"I saw a chance to take down a criminal and decided to take it." Her rebuttal made sense but the giant was still angry.
"Yes but that criminal was clearly unhinged, talking down is a safer option!!" The giant argued back, which caused Sashi to huff in anger, deciding that they shouldn't waste time on this the giant changed the subject.
"Ok look, let's just see if we got the right one and we'll continue this conversation." The giant opened up the pouch and his face fell, inside was a simple smooth granite rock. When he took it out of the pouch it spat water on the giant and began to speak.
"Hello everyone, I'm the Joking Stone and----." The stone stopped talking as it sensed the energy from its current holder.
"D---Dr----Drooler what brings you to this dimension?" The stone asked hoping not to be shattered into a thousand pieces.
"A piece of the Khayin Dharr, do you know where it is?" Drooler asked the stone with a tight voice and a furrowed brow. As the flames died down once again Drooler saw a banner exclaiming something.
"Come see our Irish culture and heritage wing, grand opening." Drooler muttered to himself, then a grin began to grow on his face as an idea quickly bloomed in his brain.
"I've a plan, guys quickly gather round." The kids slowly as Drooler began to inform the kids of the plan which quickly grew to gain some favor among them. While on the opposite spectrum Super Thunder had reached a dead end.
"I don't get it how could a bunch of thieves just disappear like that?" Lynn asked her family obviously annoyed at what happened.
"This occurence doesn't make any sense from any logical standpoint." said Lisa.
"It must be supernatural then." said Lucy.
"Uh, Lucy? Can you keep it quiet with the spooky stuff around Leni?" asked Lincoln, who gestured towards Leni who was huddled in her seat.
Just then, the Chief made a call to Super Thunder.
"Super Thunder! The criminals have been spotted at the museum! You have to stop them before they get away!" said the Chief.
"Okay Chief. We're on it!" said Lynn Sr., as he ended the call. "Buckle up Louds!" exclaimed Lynn Sr., as Thunderbolt took off towards the museum. As Super Thunder drove to the museum a rather strange guest walked up the stairs of the main entrance, he was a tall man with flaming red hair, tanned skin, with golden eyes and a handsome face that could make any woman swoon. When he reached the top of entrance he was stopped by a rather bored museum worker.
"Name sir?" the worker asked the man not looking up from the computer.
"Noah Walsh, Earl of Fingall and owner of Killen Castle." The man introduced himself and that caused the museum worker to look from her computer and let out a small gasp.
"Sir Walsh, we weren't expecting! What brings you to our humble museum?" The worker asked her heart slighty a flutter from the Earl's stunning good looks.
"My family made a donation to the exhibit and I am here to make sure that it is in good hands." 'Noah' told the worker just nodded as she let the earl walk into the museum with no problems, as he did 'Noah' pressed his right hand to his ear and began to whisper.
"Ok kids I'm in, are you guys in position?" He got five responses
 "Golden Scales in the roost."
"Safety Kid in position, and can we change my code name?"
"Illutionist here ready to make some magic."
"Shocks I'm in the camera room."
" The Amazon is ready to fight."
"Perfect. Maintain position while I locate the artifact." said Noah, as he began his search.
Meanwhile Super Thunder had just pulled up to the museum and were formulating a plan.
"Okay, Lincoln and Leni, you guys will sneak in while Lori flies above overhead. Radio in once you find something." said Lynn Sr.
"Will do Dad! Let's go Leni!" said Lincoln, as he hopped out the van, with Leni following behind.
Lori flew over the roof of the museum, while Lincoln had a quick chat with Leni.
"Okay Leni, I'm gonna get in via the power lines. You sneak in using your invisibility." said Lincoln.
"Oh I hope there's no ghosts in here..." said Leni, as she became invisible and snuck inside.
Lincoln turned into electricity and flowed into the power lines. As Noah walked through the museum he noticed a piece of metal that really stood out, it was a bright silver with wind like patterns and odd runes inscribed on it. That wasn't it as he could feel a familiar pull of power from the metal and the tickle of someone trying to get into his mind. Noah placed his right hand on his ear again and gave his team an update on the mission.
"Good news I've found the piece."
"What's the bad news?" Shocks asked his teacher as he worked on the cameras.
"I can smell someone trying to tail us." Noah told them as he got the scent of perfume and health shakes. Leni then sneezed which accidentally made her visible again.
 "Bless you." said Noah.
"Thank you!...Wait. Oops!" said Leni, as she went invisible again.
"It's too late. I already saw you." said Noah.
 Leni then reappeared looking defeated.
"Um, guys? I have one of the bad guys here. Hurry!" whispered Leni, via the communicator.
"You know I could still hear you right?" asked Noah.
"Really? Oh this is totes unfair!" said Leni.
Suddenly, Lincoln appeared from one of the ceiling lights and confronted Noah.
"Alright you. It's time to pay for your crime!" said Lincoln.
"The only thing thing that's going to happen is me taking my property back." Noah told the two siblings his tone nonnegotiable and his eyes furrowed into a glare, he then clapped his hands together causing a wave of sound and power to blow the two heroes back. As the two tried to gather their senses Noah pressed his hand to his ear and gave his students an order.
"Kids we got some company want to come and help?" From almost impossible ways five figures appeared and looked like they were wearing some sort of battle armor.
Uh oh." said Lincoln, not liking the odds of this fight.
Suddenly, Luna, Lucy, Luan, and Lynn raced in which evened up the odds.
"Whoa! Not what I was expecting." said Luna.
 "Is it ever?" asked Lucy.
"Well, this should be interesting." said Noah.
"Come on let's turn them into mince meat." Amazon growled out as she reached for her weapons, however Noah put his arm in front of the pigtailed warrior and gave her an order.
"Let's wait for the rest of them to arrive, it'll be more of a fair fight." While that confused part of Super Thunder but Amazon complied with the order.
"*scoffs* You guys are really asking for it! Do you even know who we are?" Asked Lynn.
"To be honest, no. You don't seem like much anyways." Said illusionist.
"Oh really? I feel like we should give you a demonstration." Said Lynn, entering a fighting stance.
"Easy Powerhouse. The others are on the way." Said Lincoln, in just a few minutes the rest of Super Thunder arrived with many of them ready for a fight.
"Ok you thieves get ready for......." Rita stopped after getting a look at Nah and quickly getting red faced and her knees getting weak, seeing this Lynn Sr quickly became jealous and was ready to finish his wife's sentence.
"What ift is trying to say is that get ready to be struck by Super Thunder!" He exclaimed with extra vigor and puffed out his chest trying to seem more muscular, while Noah just looked at him with an exasperated look.
"Believe or not handsome, I'm actually trying to save this dimension." While the handsome part caught him off guard Lynn Sr questioned the man.
 "How so?"
"Well you're not going to believe this but I'm an interdimensional being and these five are my students, we came to this place to try and find a rather powerful interdimensional item. We planned to take the item and replace with a phony to make sure no one would miss it but you guys got in the way." Noah explained to Super Thunder with many of them raising eyebrows and wondered if he was crazy, but unknown to them he was walking in a rune pattern ready for a backup plan.
"You're right I don't believe you." Lynn Sr told the man with his arm stretchering across his kids.
"Oh well, Duşmanoni maro ʙa ʙodho parokand, to quvvahoi man ƣoliʙ şavand!!!" Noah yelled out and the floor began to glow, in seconds the glow enveloped the teams and separated them.
 With Golden Scales...
"Whoa! What the heck was that?" said Luna, freaked out.
"It seems there's been a HOLE in our plans! Hahahaha! Get it?" joked Luan.
"I know right! Totally caught you guys by surprise! Well, I guess it's time to fight!" said Golden Scales.
Luan and Luna then got in a fighting stance, and so did Golden Scales.
 With Amazon...
"Okay. Literally, what just happened?" asked Lori confused.
"I could explain it to you, but it would be a waste of time. Now hold still as I inflict this beating on you." said Amazon.
"*scoffs* Bring it on sister." said Lori, ready to fight.
"This should be interesting." said Lucy.
 With Shocks...
"Okay Lightning, let's think strategically about this. I'm detecting our adversary has a high amount of electricity under his control. I would proceed with caution." said Lisa.
 "Gotcha." said Lincoln.
"So y'all ready to do this or what?" asked Shocks.
 "Let us commence." said Lisa.
 With Illusionist...
"Shh! Don't cry Lily! It's going to be okay!" said Leni, trying to console Lily.
"Where'd that guy teleport us to?" asked Lynn confused.
"Don't worry...it'll all make sense soon..."
"Who said that?" asked Lynn, on edge.
 "It'll all make sense..."
"Uh-huh. Keep telling yourself that." said Lynn.
 With Safety Kid...
"Wait. I'm fighting 5 year olds?!" asked Safety Kid.
"Um, we're six for your information." said Lola.
"Is that gonna be a problem?" asked Lana.
"Uhm...no? No. That's...that's not gonna be a problem! Not gonna be a problem at all..." said Safety Kid.
"Well alright then! Let's do this!" said Lola, as she and Lana sprang into action.
 With Noah...
"Now we can have a real fight." said Noah.
"I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to this." said Lynn Sr.
"Ooh! Do we really have to fight him?" asked Rita, still lovestruck.
"*sighs* Yes honey. He's a bad guy." said Lynn Sr.
"Uh, I wouldn't use that term with me." said Noah.
"Oh yeah? What would you use, wife stealer?" asked Lynn Sr., getting upset.
 "Easy there, let me-"
Noah was cut off by Lynn Sr.'s fist.
"*catches it and sighs* Great. Now I'll have to use a different approach." said Noah. Noah then pulled Lynn Sr forward with impressive strength and delivered a powerful uppercut to the elastic man's jaw, while he was still stunned Noah gave him a brutal combo of a palm to the chest, a knee to the crotch and finally a side kick in his stomach. Which caused him to fly back and hit one of the museum columns.
"Honey!! Ok, even though you're incredibly handsome no hurts my husband!!" Rita yelled out as she turned into a dragon with smoke billowing out of her nostrils.
"I'm suddenly reminded of one of my sister-in-laws." Noah commented under his breath as Rita let out a wave of hot fire, however something odd happened. Instead of being burned to a crisp the flames circled around Noah and somehow were absorbed into his skin, ruining his suit.
"Do you have any how much this cost?" He asked the dragon woman while fired up.
 ------------- Golden Scales----------
"Glowworm Blast!!!" Golden Scales yelled out as her wand fire a torrent of explosive glowworm to combat Light Shows blast, which resulted in a tie.
"I've got to say you really got some cool powers." Golden Scales commented as she dodged an incoming sound blast from Luna.
"Ummm, thanks?" Luan said slightly confused why she was getting compliments from a thief.
"Also your friend really knows how to play a guitar." Which caused Luna some confusion as well.
 ---------Amazon------------
Lucy and Lori were struggling they were great with long distance attacks but Amazon didn't waste time with closing the distance. She was a beast with some weird clawed brass knuckles she wouldn't give them a moment to land a single hit and when they tried to she'd Dodge like an action movie hero.
"So had enough?" Amazon taunted not even sweat broken.
 ------- Shocks ---------
Luckily with Shocks Lincoln and Lisa were fairing a bit better as Shocks didn't really have a good track record when it came to combat. As he dodged one of Lincoln's lightning blasts he seemed to be smiling.
"Ummm, if you hadn't noticed you've been on the edge why are you smiling?" Lincoln asked rather confused by his opponents grin
"I was just waiting for Cubes to turn on." Before Lincoln could ask what he meant a column of water blasted him causing him to 'short circuit' and from the shadows a huge robot stomped out with red eyes as he exclaimed.
 "Targets for termination."
 ------ Illusionist ------------
Lynn was currently madder than a bull in red cape store she couldn't land a hit on the Illusionist guy whenever she got close she'd either hit a wall or hit nothing but smoke, Leni wasn't fairing much better as she seemed to be trapped in an invisible box ironic.
"I'm really beginning to hate you!!!" She yelled out in anger.
 --------- Safety Kid ----------
Safety Kid really had some mix feelings about this fight on the bright side he was winning and didn't hurt the kids but own the down side he was fighting kids.
"You know you could really cause some damage with those fire powers of yours." He commented to the firey twin as he sliced an incoming fireball while dodging an ice blast from the other.
"Oh yeah what are you going to do about it?" The fire one asked, while with his free hand Safety Kid pulled out some metallic orbs. Safety Kid threw the metallic orbs at the twins, who instinctively shot fire and ice balls at them. The metallic orbs opened up and absorbed the energy from the projectiles inside them.
 "What the?" said Lana confused.
"Wow! I can't believe that actually worked! I gotta give Shocks props for this!" said Safety Kid.
 "Who's Shocks?" asked Lola.
"Huh? Oh, nevermind. Let's just finish this battle." said Safety Kid, focusing once more.
"I couldn't agree more!" Lana exclaimed as she ready a fireball to singe Safety Kid but as soon as it was at the peak the orbs absorbed the energy. Then something strange happened the orbs circled the twins and bars of energy were beamed out and encased the two in an energy cage.
"Hey!" exclaimed the twins in unison.
"Sorry girls. I've got a mission to complete. But don't worry, those orbs are totally safe....I hope." said Safety Kid, as he left the twins trapped.
 Meanwhile with Golden Scales...
"Wow, I'm getting tired." said Golden Scales.
"Oh really? Well, let's finish this then!" said Luna, as she sent another shock wave her way, but Golden Scales sent an energy beam through the wave, and the beam damaged Luna's guitar.
"Hey! This is authentic!" said Luna.
"Oops. Sorry about that." said Golden Scales.
"Okay. Time for a real LIGHT SHOW." said Luan, as she and Golden Scales started combat with each other.
Luna watched as the two fired energy beam after energy beam, neither really accomplishing anything. That is until Golden Scales managed to strike Luan with one of her beams.
"Ouch! That took LIGHT years off me!" said Luan.
"Again. Sorry about this. But uh, kinda have to do this. Um, bye!" said Golden Scales, as she left the two there, one confused and one hurt.
With Shocks
"Ok may have misjudged this opponent." Lisa squeaked out as she was cornered by the giant robot who cornered and currently aimed one of it's weapons at her, but as the robot scanned her it gave an exclamation.
"Threat level -10, no need for termination." The robot then walked back towards Shocks and then turned into a small white cube, Shocks picked up the cube and began to walk away.
"Sorry about your brother, hopefully he'll get better." Shocks apologized as he walked off.
 With Amazon
Lori was currently on her last legs, her body was covered in cuts and bruise not to mention Lucy was knocked unconscious. She stared at Amazon with what could only be described as extreme loathing.
"You're a monster." She insulted the armored girl who just shrugged it off and told her this.
"I was trained by one." That was all Lori heard after Amazon delivered a strong kick to her head knocking the wind girl out.
 With Illusionist
"So tell me how long have you guys been heroes exactly?" Illusionist asked as he seemingly floated in the air, while Lynn just glared at the boy.
"Why should we tell you?" Lynn harshly asked her temper currently rising.
"Well considering you're loosing I thought it would be an interesting thing to pass the time." Illusionist answered and that caused Lynn to snap with a enraged yell she produced a thunder clap, causing everything to either being blown back or destroyed. This also caused the real Illusionist to be revealed with a target finally in sight Lynn charged forwards and delivered a head but. Illusionist flew back a bit dazed but Lynn wasn't done she punched Illusionist in the arm, hard. Hearing the snap Illusionist did the only reasonable thing, he screamed.
 "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"
 With Noah
As Noah was throwing Rita across the room, he heard his students scream causing his eyes turned into slits and walked towards Lynn Sr and grabbed him, he had a plan for him but that could land him some hot water.
"Hopefully my wife won't kill me" He muttered as he did something surprising, Noah kissed Lynn Sr straight on the lips surprising the two but he wasn't done. He began to blow into his body which caused him to inflate like a balloon. After a few seconds Lynn Sr was now round as a ball afterwords Noah then tied Lynn Srs lips together.
"Before you try and charge at me realize this, your husband is filled with a flammable that could combust with the slightest flame." To prove his point he lit his finger and then blew on it, causing a torrent flame to come forth.
"So either you let me get my student or he goes the way of the Hindenburg." Rita weighed her options but ultimately decided that she couldn't part with her husband.
"*sighs* Okay. You can go." said Rita.
Noah then put out the flame, and released the flammable gas from inside Lynn Sr.
"*sputters and coughs* What the heck man?!" exclaimed Lynn Sr.
However, Noah had already left the couple. In the wing of the museum that Lynn, Leni and Lily we're in they had Illusionist surrounded making sure that he wouldn't escape. However it began to get hotter and hotter, thinking it was Lola Lynn turned around.
"Ah good you're here now----" Lynn never got finish her sentence as Noah delivered a punch so powerful it created a shockwave. Lynn got knocked out cold. Leni screamed at the top of her lungs, as Noah teleported away with Illusionist. Noah did the same thing with most of his students teleporting and telling they had to leave, seeing that Illusionist got hurt caused something to stir within Shocks and Amazon but they went with their teacher. As Super Thunder walked out of the museum the police were waiting outside for the criminals but were surprised to see Super Thunder beaten.
"Super Thunder! What happened?!" asked the Chief concerned.
"We-we weren't able to catch the criminals sir." said Lynn Sr.
"Well, it looks like you folks had quite the scuffle! Uh...why don't y'all head home and address your injuries? Our forensic unit still has to scope out the scene for evidence." said the Chief.
"Will do Chief. Come on guys." said Lynn Sr., as he led the Louds to the van.
All of them were struggling to walk or had severe injuries. All except Leni, Lily, Luna, Lola, Lana, and Lisa. As they drove off, the Louds couldn't help but feel like they were failures. Sure, they had lost battles before, but it had never been this badly. Many of them were left wondering: "Who were those guys?"
Meanwhile at the warehouse that hid Team Dimension.
"So how bad is it?" Illusionist asked Noah as he accessed the suits database and began to look through it.
"Luckily the armor took most of the damage, so you only got a broken arm and a slight concussion." He told his student, currently feeling anger hotter than a billion Suns rise in him.
"I say we visit those Super Chumps and turn them into mincemeat." Amazon suggested as she brandished her Shock Spears, while Shocks just agreed silently with a nod.
"No, from what most of us have seen they don't things lightly and we took out a few of them as well." Noah told Amazon his voice showing no room for negotiation.
"So what do we do?" Shocks asked his voice tight with emotion, Noah was silent for a bit until an idea formed.
"I'll go to the downtown area in my true form, exvacuating the populace before causing a scene. While they're focused on me you guys go and try to steal the piece, Penn you stay here you're injured enough as it is."
 "What?! But I-!"
"That's not up for debate." said Noah.
Penn sighed as he laid back on his bed.
"Get some rest Penn. You'll need it." said Sashi.
"Come on, we don't have time to waste." said Noah, as he teleported out of the warehouse with Sashi, Shocks, Safety Kid, and Golden Scales. While Super Thunder was nursing their wounds they began to swap war stories with the battles they had with each of the robbers.
"So wait Leni was actually trapped in an invisible box?" Lori asked in surprise at the irony.
"Yeah, how did that Golden Scales chick mange to outpower you? Don't you have like a power boost from that light lady?" Lynn asked Luan with surprise evident in her voice.
"I honestly have no idea, she seemed to be holding back though. So Dad what was it like fighting the Noah guy?" Luan questioned her father, Lynn Sr. groaned at the mention of his name.
"Uh, honey I don't think your father feels comfortable talking about that right now." said Rita.
The Loud kids all gave questionable looks at the response, but before any of them could inquire further, Lynn Sr.'s cellphone rang.
 "H-Hello?" said Lynn Sr.
"Mr. Elastic! Emergency downtown! A dragon has appeared!" said the Chief.
"A dragon?!" Lynn Sr exclaimed shocked by the news.
 "What dragon?" asked Leni confused.
"Don't worry Chief. We're on it!" said Lynn Sr., as he hung up. "Louds, we have to suit up again. A giant dragon is wreaking havoc downtown. We need to get down there and stop it!" said Lynn Sr.
"Boy, this day keeps getting weirder and weirder huh?" asked Lynn.
"I know! It's certainly one to TIP THE SCALES! Hahahaha! Get it?" joked Luan.
"Let's move guys!" said Lincoln, as everyone raced out of the house to Thunderbolt. As the Thunderbolt sped down the roads they could see hoards of people running down the streets with their faces showing terror and worry. When they reached downtown they realized why people we're afraid, the creature was a huge 20ft tall, 50ft wingspan black in color with dozens of pale orange scars dotting the wings, shoulders wider than a car, skin a crimson color, scales on it's chest a dull blood color, orange markings all over it's body, four arms with black claws, two obsidian horns and finally a long tail that ended with a three clawed hand.
"RAAAAAUAAAUUAUAUAUAUUUUUGGGGGGGH!!!!!" The dragon creature let out an earthshaking riar as it turned to the superheroes.
"Poo poo." said Lily, as she quivered in fear.
"How are we supposed to beat that thing?!" asked Lori.
"I'm not sure. It appears to be a dragon but I always thought those were a myth. I'd have to get a closer look." said Lisa.
"Lisa, your only power is super smarts. I don't even wanna get near that thing, and I have super strength! He'd crush you!" said Lynn.
"Well, we'll just have to fight him as a family guys!" said Lincoln.
"Are you sure brah?" asked Luna, looking nervous.
"*sighs* We have to brave family. For Royal Woods. Rita, you stay here with Lily. Everyone else, let's go!" said Lynn Sr.
All the Louds, minus Rita and Lily, exited the Thunderbolt and approached the dragon. They hoped they'd have better success with this fight. The dragon like creature began his attack, with an earthquake causing punch to the ground making Super Thunder loose their balance for a bit. Seizing the chance the dragon creature closed the distance and began to attack with his tail and lower arms. Lincoln and Lynn dodged his tail attack, as Lincoln wrapped an electric rope around it and held on.
 "Lightning!" yelled Lynn.
"Whoa!" said Lincoln, as he struggled to maintain control.
The dragon kept trashing about as the Louds kept dodging his attacks.
"How are we gonna stop this thing dudes?" asked Luna.
"I don't know, but we'll have to try. Everyone, just attack as best you can!" said Lynn Sr., as Super Thunder sprang into action.
Lori, Luna, Luan, Lola, and Lana all began a projectile assault. Lynn Sr. tried to help his son by trying to constrain the beast using his elasticity. Lynn jumped onto the dragon's back and began her own assault. Lucy tried attacking its mind using her telepathy.
With all this onslaught, the dragon was just a bit overwhelmed. Lisa foresaw a devastating attack coming from the beast and issued a warning to her family.
"Family! I would cease the attack if I were you! Things are going to get really dangerous!" said Lisa.
"I thought things were already dangerous." Leni whimpered, then the markings on the dragon creature began to vibrantly glow and heat began to flow from the creature, even causing the street to melt a little. Soon one of the oddest things that Super Thunder have ever heard or seen.
"Nova Burst!!" A dome of fire like energy exploded out from the dragon creature and caused Super Thunder to be blown back, with those who were trying to wrangle him with burns.
"That thing talks!?!?!?" Lana yelled out as she got up from her impromptu fall.
"I theorize that he can do more." Lisa fearfully told her sister as she stared at the creature.
"You would be correct." said the dragon.
"Yo, why does his voice sound familiar?" asked Luna.
"Yeah it kinda does." said Lola.
"Wait a minute...it's you! You-you're that guy from last night!" exclaimed Lynn Sr. outraged.
"Great deduction skills sir. Aren't you cute." said the dragon.
The other Louds recoiled at the dragon's response.
"Why are you doing this dude?" asked Luna.
"Like I said at the museum I'm here to get a piece of my property and I intend to get it." The dragon creature told the Louds his tone serious and tight.
"Well you're going to have go though us!" Lincoln exclaimed while getting into a fighting stance with electricity, the dragon just smiled as he summoned flames to travel down the sides of his body.
"I'm fine with that." The dragon told the group as he cracked his knuckles creating booms of force. Lincoln started firing electric balls at the dragon to which he expertly dodged. Super Thunder was getting fed up with this fight and honestly the dragon was too. He was only waiting for one thing.
"Drooler! We got the piece man!" said Shocks, via communicator.
"Excellent! I'm on my way!" said the dragon, as he suddenly flew away from the Louds.
"What?! Where'd he go?!...Coward!" exclaimed Lynn annoyed.
"Actually I believe we may have been fooled." Lisa stated as she began to think about the events that just transpired.
"What do mean?" Leni asked her genius sister rather confused by what she meant.
"Think about it, if he really wanted to caushe chaosh he wouldn't have waited for people to leave yet there no people, he could've destroyed all the buildingsh yet mosht of them are intact." Lisa began to explain to her family while pacing back and forth.
"Just get to to the point."Lynn ordered her sister rather annoyed that she couldn't get her payback.
"This was jusht a dishtraction, hish team musht be back at the museum." This caused them to face palm, how could they have missed that.
"We gotta move! Hurry guys!" said Lynn Sr., as everyone piled into Thunderbolt.
Thunderbolt sped off towards the museum. The Louds hoped they weren't too late. As Drooler appeared in the museum he noticed that many police officers were knocked unconscious or unmoving, after checking on a few them to make sure that they weren't dead. He turned to his kids and saw that Shocks was holding the piece with some specialized gloves.
"Good job, but next time carry some transport cubes to make sure that no one is going to be caught in a future fight." Drooler told them as he threw some small cube like devices at the unconscious police men, which glowed white and made them dissapear.
"I hope to every deity that I reset those." Drooler mumbled to himself and hoped that the police won’t be in trouble.
"Alright, we got the piece. Let's get out of here." said Amazon.
"Hang on. We're not alone." said Drooler.
Suddenly he shot a fireball from his mouth at a wall. Leni reappeared and dodged the attack just in time.
"Yikes! That was totes close!" exclaimed Leni.
 "Them again?" asked Safety Kid.
"Never expect an easy victory Safety Kid." said Drooler.
"Great advice, because you're not getting one without a fight." said Lynn, readying her fists.
"*sighs* Alright, let's get this over with." said Drooler, as he and his students got in their fighting stance; and then rest of Super Thunder did the same. With a roar Drooler went barging in ready to take out Lynn Sr and Rita, while Safety Kid was paired up with the twins again and Lana was ready for some revenge, Meanwhile Amazon went after Lynn and Leni wanting to tear them up, Shocks was holding off Lisa and Lincoln, finally Golden Scales was firing a magic blast at Luan and Luna. Their fight turned into a blur of motions as both sides fought holding nothing back. The scuffle became so great that Shocks accidentally dropped the piece. Lori noticed this and decided to swoop in and grab it.
"Yes! I got it!" exclaimed Lori.
 "Ah...an aerokinetic. Perfect."
"Who-Who said that?!" asked Lori confused.
 "Who else?" said the piece.
Lori thought she was hearing things.
"Are you literally talking to me right now?" asked Lori, freaking out.
"Yes I am, you see I am a great and powerful being. If you let give you some of my power you can defeat that pompous dragon over." The piece told Lori, while Lori was tempted she couldn't shake the feeling that the voice was hiding something from her.
"I don't know, I normally have this rule about talking sentient pieces of metal." Lori told the voice feeling rather uncomfortable about the idea.
"Would you rather like your family to die by that creatures hand? I have seen him murder countless beings without so much as blink of his eyes." The piece yelled at the young girl. Lori felt conflicted but ultimately went against her own better judgment.
"Alright. I'll..I'll do it." said Lori.
 "Excellent." said the piece.
Suddenly, a huge whirlwind escaped from the piece and surrounded Lori.
Super Thunder and the other team stopped fighting and took notice of this new occurrence.
"What's happening?" asked Lana, As Drooler saw the whirlwind he finally noticed that the piece was no longer in Shocks hand.
"Uh oh." He stated with a a look of worry on his face.
"Uh oh, why uh oh!?!" Safety Kid asked his teacher while looking waryingly at the ball of wind, and without saying a word Drooler grabbed all the mortals present and placed them in front of him. He streched out his wings and planted them into the ground and not too soon as a huge wind explosion rocked the museum. Everything was silent and everyone looked around to see if they were intact. That's when they saw it...well her. Looming before them was Lori, however it was clear that she was no longer there herself.
"Um, why does she look like that?" asked Leni worried.
Lori's eyes were pitch black, and she now had some weird markings on her face.
"Uranus." Drooler coldly answered as he glared at the now possessed teenage girl, however the tension was quickly cut as Luan began to giggle at the name.
"Then he must be a gas---" Luan couldn't finish her pun she began to choke on nothing but her face was slowly turning blue and eyes going bloodshot. Actually everyone began finding it difficult to breathe, except for Drooler. Drooler acted quickly and teleported everyone out of the museum. As Super Thunder felt their bodies being pulled apart they could feel much needed air fill their lungs, after the blurriness left their vision they could see that they were in an abandoned warehouse and they noticed that Team Dimension standing in front of them. They got up and took a fighting stance ready for the next round.
"No need for that, we just want to talk." Drooler told the family of supers.
"Oh so you wanna talk now? What gives?" asked Lynn.
"What just happened to my daughter?" asked Lynn Sr. worried.
"Well she's been possessed by an overseer named Uranus, and if we don't hurry he's going to turn this world into a primal state."  Drooler explained to the super family however, that answer created more confusion rather than eliminating it.
"Ok, what is an overseer and why does he want to make Earth primal?" Rita asked the dragon creature rather cross.
"An overseer is what humans used to call gods, most of them were killed after the end of the Roman Empire. The reason why he wants to cleanse the world is the fact that his empire is destroyed, so in response he'll kill all humans and try to have children with Gaia again." Drooler told the shapeshifter.
 "Gaia? Who's that?" asked Lincoln.
"I believe she's the goddess of the Earth or something like that." said Lucy.
 "You'd be correct." said Drooler.
"So how do we stop this thing and save Wind Vane?" asked Lynn.
"A purification spell, we have to find platinum, pure blue glacial ice and a newborns thought. We got a newborn but I believe the other two are going to be hard to find. Not to mention we have to keep Uranus still long enough for the spell to take affect. " Drooler told them as he pinched the space between his nostrils.
"We were trying to take this piece before this happened, but you guys had other ideas." Amazon spat at the family, her gaze giving enough anger to scare Lori when she was put in charge of the house.
"Well how were we supposed to know! To us, it looked like you guys were just trying to steal the thing!" said Lynn.
"I don't think we were warranted to give you an explanation for our actions." said Amazon.
"Yeah, well now we do. One of their own has been compromised, and we owe it to them to help them out. I think to avoid any more problems going forward, we need to establish a basis of trust. So, I think we should reveal who we all are so that there's no confusion." said Drooler.
"Hmph. Well I don't know about that." said Lynn, not convinced.
"I'm an interdimensional dragon creature, and my student live in different dimensions. Even if we told anyone who would exactly care or think we're talking about an actual place?" Drooler asked the group with a raised eye ridge, the super family thought about this for a while until they came to a decision.
"Alright Drooler, we'll reveal our identities...but you all go first!" said Lynn Sr., still somewhat reluctant.
Drooler sighed and then said "Alright kids, the floor is yours."
First Golden Scales took off her helmet revealing a teenage girl with soft golden blonde hair, radiant baby blue eyes, and fair skin with little heart marks on her cheeks.
"I'm Star Butterfly." She told the group with smile on her face, next was Safety Kid when he removed his helmet showing a teenage boy with brown skin with a mole on his left cheek, messy umber hair, and hazel eyes.
"Marco Diaz and I'm seriously wondering about how safe you're keeping your kids." He asked the parents with an eyebrow raised and giving them a disappointing look. Shocks went next showing a pudgy boy with pale skin, with bronze rough hair, and fern eyes.
"Sup dudes, name's Boone Wiseman." Amazon hesitated for a bit but eventually took off her helmet and showed an Asian girl olive skin, brunette hair styled with pigtails dyed yellow, and coffee colored eyes.
"Sashi Kobayashi and if you even think about betraying us you'll regret it." Sashi threatened her eyes giving her a steely glare.
"I'd listen to her she currently reign supreme at the combat simulator, and I guess it's my turn." Illusionist told the group and with his good arm showing a teenage boy with curly russet hair, fair skin, a crystal blue eyes full of wit.
"Names Penn Zero, I'd give ya a wave but." He gestured to his arm
"Ooh. Sorry about that." said Lynn.
"Alright. Let's get this over with. *removes mask* I'm Lynn Sr., the father of this family." said Lynn Sr.
The rest of the Louds followed suit and did the same thing.
 "I'm Rita, his wife."
 "I'm Lincoln Loud."
 "I'm Lynn Loud."
 "Luan Loud here!"
 "What's up? I'm Luna."
 "I'm Leni Loud!"
 "I'm Lola Loud...and I'm Lana Loud!"
"I'm Lisa Loud. It is a pleasure."
"And this is Lily Loud." said Rita, as she removed Lily's mask.
"Aww! She's so cute!" gushed Star.
"Our daughter who got possessed is Lori Loud. I believe that's everyone." said Lynn Sr.
"You forgot me." said Lucy, which startled everyone except Drooler.
"Was she there the whole time?" asked Marco.
"Yeah she tends to do that a lot." said Lincoln.
"My apologies. I'm Lucy Loud." said Lucy.
"Okay. Now that's everyone." said Lynn Sr.
"Good now we need to figure out where Uranus is heading." Drooler told the newly joined teams as he began to think were the windbag was off to.
"Well if he just got out what would he be looking for first?" Lincoln asked the giant still rather warry of him.
"Well he'll want a temple, not just anything it has to be made of pure marble and screams power." Drooler answered the boy, and one location came up in his mind.
"Tetherby's mansion is made of pure marble! He might be heading there!" said Lincoln.
"It's as good a hunch as any. Let's go everyone." said Drooler.
"Wait, before we go, can we talk about this teleport thing cuz I-"
Lynn was cut off as Drooler teleported everyone out of there. As the Louds felt their bodies being pulled apart again they arrived at Tetherby's mansion though it looked a little different, with many life like statues decorating the driveway. Of course Lynn then puked on the lawn holding her stomach with one arm and put the other on her knee.
"I think that my stomach may not like this." Lynn groaned out as her stomach felt like it was doing a thousand laps.
"There is the slight chance more motion sickness, but you should be fine." said Drooler.
"Whoa! This place is mad stylish!" said Luna in awe.
"You've been inside here Linc?" asked Lana.
"Yup. Although, it didn't look like this the last time." said Lincoln.
"Hmm...that's strange. Those statues look familiar. We need to get inside. Any ideas?" asked Drooler.
"Why don't we send the one who can turn invisible in, she can go in first and if she dies at least no one will see the body." Sashi suggested with what the Louds hoped was an attempt at dark humor.
"Um, I'll totes pass." said Leni.
"Why don't you go in? Aren't you supposed to be a warrior?" asked Lincoln.
"Aren't you supposed to be less of a brat?" said Sashi.
"What did you say?" said Lincoln, as he charged up his lightning.
"Alright, calm down. This is getting us nowhere. Lincoln, do you know the man who owns this place?" asked Drooler.
"Yeah, I won a contest and got to ride in his limo and tour his mansion." said Lincoln.
"Okay. He has an answering machine outside. He may open the gates if he hears your voice." said Drooler.
"I wonder if he even remembers me." said Lincoln.
"Only one way to find out." said Drooler, Lincoln walked up to the black call box that stood in front of the gate and pressed the yellow button.
"Tetherby old eggplant, how are you?" Lincoln asked while Drooler just turned to his parents and gave them a questioning look. However it seemed that luck smiled on them as another voice crackled out from the box.
"Lincoln is that you old bean?"
"Yes it is! In the flesh!" said Lincoln.
"Ha-ha! Well, this is a surprise! We have to catch up old broccoli! Please, come in!" said Tetherby.
Suddenly, the gates to the mansion opened.
"Well, that worked out." said Penn.
"Yes it did. Alright, everyone let's move. Keep your wits about you." said Drooler.
"What's with you guys and vegetables?" asked Lola.
"He's the one who really started the old thing. I just went along with it." said Lincoln. As the group walked up the walkway Drooler began to remember what or rather who the statues were.
"Ah crap." He muttered as the group of humans stopped and looked at him with questioning looks.
"Please tell me these guys are friendly." Marco groaned hopefully that there won't be any murderous thugs.
"I'd rather not lie in the presence of young children." He informed his student, then the statues began to step off the pedestals, and even some off them tore out fence posts to use as makeshift spears.
"Time for you to pay Drooler." One of the living statues told the giant creature.
"Uh...who are these guys?" asked Luna nervous.
"Yeah, are they STONED or us? Hahahaha!" joked Luan.
 All the Louds groaned.
"Is she going to keep making those terrible jokes?" asked Sashi annoyed.
 "Pretty much." said Lynn.
"Well, I guess they were right when they said EVERYONE'S A CRITIC! Hahahaha!" joked Luan again.
"Alright. Enough jokes. We need a battle plan....Drooler what's the plan?" asked Lynn Sr. Drooler was silent for half a minute until he raised his four arms and yelled out.
"We surrender!!!!" That caught the heroes off guard and his students too, but the stone creatures just smiled.
"Well this is easy." One said as they took out a variety of cuffs, chains and even cages.
"Yeah especially watch out for these two, a troublesome bunch." Drooler told the stone creatures while gesturing to Sashi and Leni.
"You traitourus!!!" Sashi was about to foam at the mouth but as soon as the cuffs were put on her and Leni she went silent, and for some reason Drooler's tail went limp. When the team was properly chained up the Stone creatures leaded them up to the mansion ready to spear them if they did anything they didn't like, after a long walk they were greeted with the site of Uranus sitting on a throne of silver and jewels.
"Ah, Drooler how fitting to see you chains again." Uranus taunted the fire being not even looking at him.
"Didn't know you had a BDSM kink Uranus, would've made the visits a little more entertaining." Drooler joked but that just seem to annoy the sky god.
"Ugggh, kill this fool and the others I have a world to reclaim." Uranus told the stone creatures, they smiled and began to raise their makeshift spears to kill the group. However there was a problem, the lead stone creature was suddenly impaled by a 10ft long bronze spear with a silver tear drop shaped rieverium blade, and on the other side was Sashi?!
"You could've told us the plan." Sashi told her teacher.
"I didn't find it necessary." said Drooler.
"What the heck is going on?!" asked Uranus angered.
"Easy, when these rock heads were chaining us up I used some slight of hand to make it seem like those two where caught, and when you got cocky enough they knew when to strike." Drooler told the wind Lord as the fake Leni and Sashi disappeared in their place was Drooler's real tail, with the fake one disappearing.
"Grrr! You won't be using that magic garbage to beat me this time! Granite guards attack!" commanded Uranus.
The stone statues then engaged the heroes.
"Split up everyone! But stay vigilant! These rocks are crafty." said Drooler, as the group split up to fight in sections. Star realizing that her wand might not be enough, she turned it sideways and as it glowed a handle began to poke out. She grabbed the handle and pulled revealing a huge 8ft long spiked mace, she began to swing it around as if it was nothing more than a baseball bat which caused Luna and Luan to pale a little. Marco unsheathed his Jian and began to slice the granite guards into nothing more than pebbles. Sashi was an animal tearing apart the statues with her spear and if any got too close they got a face full of claws. Boone and Cubes were team with cubes anhilating the guards with his various weapons, Boone was knocking out any that tried to shut Cubes down. Penn was doing what could only be described as magic with him dissapearing when the guards tried to stab them but for them to stab the other guard. Drooler was somehow scarier than Sashi with smashing the guards into dust or summoning ten ft tall black bladed battle axes to cut them down to size. Super Thunder had split into groups as well.
Luna and Lucy had teamed up and Lucy held the stones in place with her telekinesis while Luna blasted them apart.
Lynn demolished each stone with her fists. She clearly had this in the bag.
Lisa almost got hit by an incoming stone's attack, but Luan blasted it apart with her light beam.
Lola and Lana were on elemental offense, while Lynn Sr. subdued each stone.
Lincoln was trying to help, but his lightning balls were having no affect on these stones. Leni then made an invisible forcefield to protect him and her from an incoming attack.
Rita was doing her best to fight off the stones while holding Lily, however the horde was massive. It began to push back the heroes but luckily Drooler had an idea for how to deal with these bothersome Boulder heads.
"Ok, I know how to finish this idiots but I need Leni to make a forcefield and don't let it down until I say so!!" Drooler roared out to the group, Leni quickly nodded and made a forcefield around all the mortals. The giant fire beast closed his eyes and began to focus, then red hot fire like energy to grow on his right upper arm. He opened his eyes that were glowing hellish red and roared out sounding like a thousand eruptions.
"Volcanic Violence!!!!" Drooler punched the ground in front of him and it began to burst with shards of rock and geysers of lava came bursting out.
 "Whoa." said Lynn in shock.
"You can say that again." said Lola. After that impressive display of power the aftermath showed, all the granite guards were melted many of them with screams on their faces. It also left Drooler rather winded as he was slightly panting from the expulsion of energy, of course that's when Uranus decided to strike. Sending a blast of air he blew Drooler through an entire collections of pillars destroying all of them. Drooler's students reacted quickly with Star and Penn running to Drooler's aid.
Sashi began attacking Uranus with her spear but Uranus kept dodging her attacks. Marco and Boone tried to provide support, but their attacks were dodged as well.
"You really think that you puny mortals really think that you can best the king of the skies?" Uranus asked the kids he then blew back using a mini tornado, but that just got Drooler angry. He charged the possessed human and gave him a punch that sent him down into the ground and created a crater.
"Mess with my kids and I'll make sure you'll burn."
"Hey, don't mess up my kid in the process!" Exclaimed Lynn Sr.
"I reason that she'll be fine." Said Drooler. Drooler was right as Uranus just took Lori's head out of the ground with only his hair slightly messed up and small marks on the face.
"I'll turn into a bloody bits!!" Uranus yelled out and began to raise in the air but felt an elastic arm wrapped around his vessels leg.
"You're not going anywhere!" exclaimed Lynn Sr.
"I'll help hold her down Dad!" said Lincoln, as he wrapped an electric rope around Lori's other leg. Uranus tried to take off but something was forcing him down to the group.
"Ugggh, who dare tries let the king of the skies touch the Earth?!" Uranus yelled out as he tried to use the air to boost him up.
'Me you jerk!' A familiar voice rang out in his head.
"What the? I thought I had control over you!" said Uranus confused.
'Yeah? Well, I'm literally taking it back!' said the voice, which turned out to be Lori's.
"No, no!!" Uranus yelled out in rage as he touched the Earth Lana encased him in an icy prison with Lucy and Leni ready to use their powers to hold him down too.
"Umm, quick queshtion who has the piece?" Lisa asked the group which quickly caused them to collectively face palm.
"It must still be at the museum!" growled Drooler.
"Wait. You mean we have to go back there?" asked Marco, in disbelief.
"Actually you don't have to." A strange motherly, kind voice came from behind them, as they turned to face the possible threat. In their sight was a medium sized woman that seemed to be wearing a dress of various shades of green, with chocolate skin, and hair of silver. The one creature that didn't seemed fazed by the woman was Drooler.
"Gaia, nice to see you." Drooler greeted the earth-based woman.
"Nice to see you again to Drooler." said Gaia.
"Uh, Drooler? You know her?" asked Marco surprised.
"Yes Marco, I do. This is Gaia. She's the goddess of the Earth." said Drooler.
"Isn't that Uranus's wife dude?" Luna asked fearfully as she looked at the woman.
"I don't think she'll want to help him, Uranus trapped their children underground and tried to kill them." Lisa answered her rocker older sister.
"Your sister is right, because of this monster I couldn't see my darling Hecatoncheires and Cyclops. Not only that because of him humans were forced under Titans rule and then the Greek gods. I can't thank you enough for disposing of them Drooler." That little sentence at the end caused Drooler to go pale face.
"Why that face? Did you not do as I asked?" asked Gaia.
 "*nervous laugh* Well, um...you see..."
Drooler was struggling to come up with an excuse.
"You told us some mad man killed them." Sashi told Drooler with a glare on her face.
"I haven't exactly told those present about those events." Drooler answered the Earth goddess.
" I honestly expected more from you Drooler." said Gaia her face stern like a mother.
"Yeah, I know but it's a rather sensitive subject. But do you have the piece with you?" Drooler asked the goddess with urgency in his voice, Gaia just smiled as she held out her hands an not only the piece but a good chunk of platinum too.
"Have I ever disappointed anyone?" She asked with a confident smile.
"The potato famine." Drooler answered her like one would an old friend.
"Don't start with me Drooler. You have something to do right?" said Gaia.
"Yes I do. Alright everyone, we have everything we need to banish Uranus. Platinum, a baby's thought, the piece and...oh. Lana, can you make ice as cold as those found in glaciers?" asked Drooler.
"I should be able to. These temperature gloves Lisa made help me control how my powers get." said Lana.
"Ok, I recommend that everyone steps back the temperature to make blue glacial ice needs to be rather below what most humans can withstand." Drooler told the heroes, most of them decided to step back as Lana began to do the job. She held out her hand and icy mist began to swirl, the air became colder, harsher, and Lana's eyes actually began to glowed an icy blue. Within a few seconds a good sized chunk of glacial blue ice and Lana was feeling slightly tired.
"You okay Lana?" asked Lola concerned.
 "Yeah...I'll..I'll....fine!" said Lana, feeling groggy.
"Alright! We got the stuff. Can we get our daughter back now?" said Lynn Sr.
"All right time for some magic." Drooler exclaimed as he began to make the runes needed for the spell in the ground, when he was done he started with the ingredients. First he melted the phone allowing the metal to flow through the runes, next he placed the blue glacial ice in molten metal creating a hissing sound, finally he put his claw on Lily's head and Drew it away with a silvery blue wisp attached to his claw tip. He gently placed the thought into the metal and when it began to swim into the phone he held the piece high and began to chant.
"Bo man qudrat doram, ki in rūhro amr diham, ki in ʙadanro tark kunam. Bigzor in çoni çon digargunie naʙoşad jo dar in ʙora ʙoqī monad, onhoro tark kuned!!" Suddenly Uranus felt himself being pulled from Lori's body. He tried to put up a fight but it was no use.
"No! NO! NO!!!!" His anger was no use as his spirit was dragged out of Lori's body, as his spirit was out it began to spiral into the piece once more.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!"With one last shout of anger Uranus was once again trapped in his metal prison once again.
"Yes! We got him!" said Boone.
 "Good riddance." said Sashi.
"Lori honey, are you okay?!" asked Rita, frantically coming to her daughter's aid.
"I'm fine Mom. *headache pain* But I literally have a headache right now." said Lori.
"We've got to get you home to rest." said Lynn Sr.
"We got the piece, so I guess we have what we need." Drooler said as he looked down at the piece which seemed to have even more wind swirls on it than before.
"But before we go I thank you for the help, it was satisfactory." Drooler told the family of superheroes, but he wasn't the only giving them compliments.
"I have to admit that if it wasn't for you guys we might've lost."Sashi mumbled out a thanks.
"Ha! Looks like someone had to swallow their own pride!" taunted Lincoln.
"Don't push me kid." said Sashi.
"It was pretty cool to see a kid made of lightning, although why don't you guys use him to charge your phones?" Boone mentioned which started to give some of the older sister some ideas.
"That is literally a great idea!" said Lori.
"Yeah! With Linky we'll totes never have to use a charger again." said Leni.
 "*snickers* Linky? Really?" mocked Sashi.
"It's not that funny." said Lincoln.
 "It kinda is." said Marco.
"Umm, hate to be the bearer of bad news but shouldn't we leave before we're arrested and experimented on?" Star asked her teacher and friends, not wanting to end up on a dissection table.
"Shtar doesh have a point, the police will be here shoon." Lisa added while hiding something behind her back.
"True, I'll tell Tech to open the portal feel free to say what you want to Super Thunder." Drooler told his students.
"Uh..it's been cool I guess." said Penn.
"Yeah. You guys are alright." said Boone.
"Thanks, you guys were pretty awesome. When you guys aren't trying to kick our bums." Luna told the students with a sheepish smile.
"I've got to say that even though you're a wimp you can be cool." Lynn complimented Penn though it was rather blunt.
"Also you've got to teach me some of those moves, their a BLAST!!" Luan joked towards Star who laughed at the cheesey pun.
"Hey! Maybe next time! We'll be in the limeLIGHT!" said Star.
 "Hahahaha! Good one!" said Luan.
"Oh no. It's spreading." said Sashi.
Then a rush of air signaled that an interdimensional portal was opened up.
"Kids, time to go!" Drooler called out to his students, they gave Super Thunder waves goodbye as they walked through the the portal. As Drooler was about to walk through the portal Lynn Sr called out.
"Quick question why did you kiss me?"
"I was in the moment. You are kind of cute." said Drooler.
Lynn Sr. inadvertently blushed from that statement.
"Wait. He kissed you Pop Star?" asked Luna surprised.
Before anyone could respond, Drooler walked through the portal, leaving Lynn Sr. to answer his kids' questions.
As Team Dimension felt their atoms being rearranged and their organs turned inside out but luckily that ended soon as they stepped into the school.
"Ugggh, I'm going to go to the bathroom." Penn groaned out as he dashed towards the room of the porcelain thrones.
"So why did you kill those Greek Gods?" Sashi asked her teacher with a narrow glare, Drooler wanted to lie or something but he didn't want to break any trust he had with the kids.
"A hero must do horrible things to insure that lives are saved, I did those horrible things but I did not enjoy them." Drooler told his student who seemed accepted the excuse.
"I'll put this piece in a safe place." Drooler told them as he began to walk away from the kids, after a short walk he seemed to stop at a dead end. Until he pressed the west wall in a strange pattern, a door opened up for the fire beast. As he walked into the room he opened his palm and the piece flew out of his hand, as the piece flew it began to change color from a silver to an obsidian black with some becoming lava orange. The piece rested in what seemed to be a mold of a large sword and above the mold was a painting of Drooler but he was vastly different. He was Wilder his teeth clamped onto a person, fists stained with innocent blood, and he had a look of pure insanity on his face.
"I can't tell them yet." Drooler muttered to himself in shame as he stared at the painting. (I like to thank 65rogeryork for this crossover.)

Baba’s Night Off
A/N: Hey guys, I know I'm falling behind on updates in my other stories, but I wanted to write this oneshot because it's very close to my heart (seeing that Black Panther radically changed my perspective on my role as an African-American in America). This oneshot follows T'Challa as a workaholic father who simply makes time for what matters most to him. I hope you guys enjoy it! Also, featuring, T’Challa and Nakia’s daughter.
Tumblr media
Disclaimers: I do not own any of the characters from Black Panther except for my OC, Natila. Also, the Xhosa language was translated from English using Google Translate so it might not be that accurate. I do not own the Thula Baba lullaby.
Baba's Night Off
The night was young. The wind whistled through the trees and the stars formed an exquisite crescendo in the violet sky. Wakanda's Golden City was winding down for the evening. The citizens were entering into their abodes while various vendors were closing their shops in the marketplace. In the royal palace, Princess Natila, (daughter of King T'Challa and Queen Nakia), was getting ready for bed. Her mother tucked her in under the blanket and began to serenade her until she was ready to sleep.
"Can you sing our song, mama?" Natila asked as she shifted under the massive blanket.
"Alright, usana (baby). I'll sing our song, but after this you need to go to sleep,"Nakia said as she sat down at the foot of the bed.
Natila jumped into her mother's arms, nearly knocking them off of the bed.
"Natila!" Nakia exclaimed as she kept herself from falling.
"Sorry, mama," the young child said as she slowly moved away from the edge.
Nakia gave a small chuckle as she picked up Natila and sat down near the pillows. She placed Natila between her legs and wrapped her arms around the child's tiny shoulders. She started humming while she rocked her daughter from side to side.
"Thula thul, thula baba, thula sana,
Thul'u babuzo ficka, eku seni.
Kukh'in khan-yezi, zi-holel' u baba,
Zim-khan yi-sela indlel'e ziyak-haya,
Sobe sik hona xa bonke be-shoyo,
Be-thi bu-yela u-bu-ye le khaya,
Thula thula thula baba,
Thula thula thula sana,
Thula thula thula baba,
Thula thula thula san."
(Keep quiet my child
Keep quiet my baby
Be quiet, daddy will be home by dawn
There's a star that will lead him home
The star will brighten his way home
The hills and stones are still the same my love
My life has changed, yes my life has changed
The children grow but you don't know my love
The children grew but you don't see them grow).
Natila started to blink slowly at the sound of her mother's melodious voice. She gave a long yawn at the end of the lullaby.
"Alright, my sweet girl. Time for bed," Nakia said as she rested Natila on the pillow and tucked her in once more.
"But I'm not tired, mama!" Natila whined as she gave another yawn.
"Yes, you are, my love. Now go to sleep," Nakia said as she placed a soft kiss on Natila's cheek and headed for the door.
"Mama?" Natila called.
"Yes, Nati," Nakia answered as she turned around to face her daughter.
"Where's Baba?" she asked as she sat up straight in the bed.
Nakia frowned slightly. She walked toward Natila's bed and kneeled down in front of her. "Baba's working tonight," she said.
"Again? This is the fourth night in a row! I've been counting," Natila said with a pout.
"I know, sweetie. Your father has a lot on his plate right now. He has to fulfill his duties as the King of Wakanda. He's trying to do what's best for his people and for us. Do you understand?"
"I do understand, mama. I just miss him so much," Natila said as her eyes began to well up with tears.
Seeing her daughter's moist eyes caused Nakia to blink back some of her own tears. "I'm sure he misses you too, mntana oyimtombazana
(baby girl)."
"I want to see him," Natila demanded as she tried to get out of bed.
"Not tonight, Nati. It's already past your bedtime."
"But, mama-"
"You need your rest, nobusi (honey). You'll see him in the morning, I promise," Nakia said as she gave Natila another kiss and left the room.
An hour passed and Natila was still awake. She turned over and saw that her clock read, 10:00pm. She turned onto her back and stared at the ceiling. She gave a hard sigh as she sat up in the bed. She glanced over at her clock and saw that the time was 10:01pm. She took off the blanket and pushed on her sound-absorbent panther slippers (courtesy of her aunt Shuri). She opened the door with a gentle tug. With the door opened slightly, she pried her head through the small crack of the door and surveyed the hallway.
There was a shuffling of footsteps outside her door. She saw a few Dora Milaje pacing the hall. As soon as the coast was clear, Natila dashed down the hallway and turned the corner. She found her father's office, which was guarded by another set of Dora Milaje. Before she walked up to the door, she hid behind the wall that was on the opposite end of the entrance. She rested her back against the wall and took a deep breath. She walked up to the guards with confidence.
"Nkosazana (princess), how may we help you?" one of the guards asked after she gave Natila the Wakandan salute.
"I want to see my father," she demanded.
"I am sorry, Nkosazana yam (my princess). The king requested that he not be disturbed," the other guard explained.
"Please let me see him," she pleaded.
"I am so sorry. He said-"
"Mvumele umntwana abone uyise (Let the child see her father)," Okoye said as she walked over to the area.
"Kodwa sanikwa imiyalelo, ngokubanzi (But we were given orders, General)," one of the guards protested.
"Ndiqinisekile ukuba akayi kucinga (I'm sure he wouldn't mind)," Okoye said as she sent the two Doras away.
"Thank you, Okoye," Natila said with a bright smile as she gave her a hug.
"No problem. I'll let him know that you're here," she said as she opened the door.
Natila followed behind Okoye. They both entered into the office to find T'Challa sitting at his desk with a mountain of papers on it. He was sifting through the papers, signing them, and sorting them into different piles.
"My king, you have a special guest that wishes to see you," Okoye said with a smile.
T'Challa looked up from his work to see his visitor. His face lit up once he saw his daughter. A huge smile spread across his face as he got up to greet her.
"Mnandi (sweetheart)! How are you?" he asked as he lifted Natila into his arms.
"I am feeling better now that I get to see you!" Natila beamed as she hugged her father.
"I'll leave you two alone," Okoye said as she left the room.
T'Challa made his way back to the desk with Natila in his lap. He put his arm around her and made sure that she was secure. She laid her head on his chest and ran her fingers through his beard. Silence fell over them as T'Challa went back to working on his papers.
"Where have you been, Baba?" Natila asked.
"What do you mean? I was here all day," he said with a smile.
Natila giggled. "That's not what I meant, silly. Why don't you come to see me at night anymore?"
T'Challa gave his daughter a confused look. Natila looked up at her father once she didn't hear a response.
"I check on you every night. You don't know that because you are always asleep when I come."
Natila pouted. "Why don't you try coming a little earlier?" she asked as she folded her arms across her chest.
"I wish I could, but I have to work, usana (baby)," T'Challa said with a frown.
"I know. I just miss you, Baba," she said while the tears streamed down her face.
T'Challa gently rubbed his daughter's back. Her sobs pierced his heart. He hated to see her so upset.
"Hey, hey, don't cry," he said as he wiped her tears with his hand. "Come. I want to show you something," he said.
He carried Natila out of the room and began walking down the hall.
"Where are we going?" she asked in a bewildered tone.
"You'll see," T'Challa said with a sly smile.
"What about your work?" Natila asked as she looked back at the office door.
"I am taking the night off," he said with a wink.
T'Challa brought Natila into a vast field outside of the palace. The moonlight glistened over the plains while the stars shimmered above the horizon. The specs of light were scattered across the sky, giving off a luminous ambiance to the area. Crickets chirped and fireflies danced in the air.
Tumblr media
Natila chased after them once her father put her down. She kept clapping her hands, hoping to catch one of the mystic creatures. T'Challa watched as Natila failed in her pursuit. He walked over to her and held her hands in his.
"You have to be patient, little one," he said as he took her hands and clasped them in the air.
He slowly opened her hands to reveal a firefly glowing in her palms. Natila's eyes were filled with wonder as she saw the firefly hover in her hands. T'Challa opened her hands more in order to release the firefly. He took her by the hand and they both laid down in the grass, gazing at the stars in the sky.
"Baba, what's harder: being king or being the Black Panther?" Natila asked.
"Oooh, that's a good question. I would say that they are both equally hard. The most difficult part for me is being away from my family," he said with a sigh.
Natila moved over and snuggled next to her father. "If I could, I would do all of your work for you," she said with a smile.
T'Challa laughed. "Oh really?"
"Yes! I would make a great Black Panther," Natila said as she put her fists up.
"I bet you could be, but it is a very dangerous job. You can definitely do it when you're older."
"I am seven-years-old, Baba. I am a big girl now. I can handle it," she said with a huff.
T'Challa laughed so hard that he held his stomach. "Trust me, sweetie, you need years of training before you can take the mantle. You'll get there someday," he said.
Natila yawned again. She placed her head on her father's arm and started to doze off.
"You are tired, little one," he said as he caressed her head with his hand.
Natila's eyes popped open. "No I'm not! I want to talk to you," she said as she gave another yawn.
"Shhh. Don't fight it. It's time for bed," he said as he carried her to her room.
He laid her down in the bed, tucked her in, and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek. He watched his daughter sleep soundly. Seeing her at peace warmed his soul. He was grateful for the much-needed night off.

Government of Doom Part 7
Pepito’s bare feet pap against the metal floor as he races down the glowing red hallway, alarms blaring. He grumbles angrily, “I can’t believe they threw out my boots and shirt. Those boots were expensive! And that tank top was designed specifically so my wings wouldn’t rip through my shirts anymore. Augh, dammit! If they wrecked my guitar, I will destroy this whole facility!”
He arrives at one of the elevators in the circular corridor and starts to hit the button, when the doors open to Shmee. He’s holding Squee’s bag over his head with Pepito’s guitar and Gaz’s hammer sticking out of it.
           “Shmee?” Pepito exclaims.
“Ah, good,” the bear grunts and tips the bag forward, causing the guitar and hammer to fall into Pepito’s arms. “You take those.”
“Oh, thanks. I was just coming to get this,” he says as he hangs his guitar off his back and rests the hammer on his shoulder. “Where’s Squee?”
“I’m on my way to him now,” Shmee replies as he starts trotting down the hall. Pepito follows at his side. “He called me so he must be okay. Or in grave danger.”
“There’s never really an in-between for him,” Pepito remarks, “you’re sure he’s on this floor?”
           “Positive.”
“Then maybe the others are too. After what’s happened to me, I can only imagine what these sickos are doing to Zim and Tak.”            “Yes, you look like you’ve been through a lot,” Shmee comments, eyeing the scorch marks wrapping around Pepito’s chest and arms. “Why don’t you look for them and when I find Squee, we’ll come back for you.”
“Alright, I’ll start looking,” Pepito nods.
Shmee nods back before picking up the pace and dashing down the hall. Pepito stops and watches him leave before looking back and forth at the multiple large doors lining the walls.
           “But…where do I start?”
Meanwhile, on the other side of the circle, Johnny, Skoodge, Mimi, and the Night Terrors exit an elevator. They look up and down the hall before Skoodge points at a white door smaller than the fortified ones nearby.
“That one. The guard said the prisoners are behind the smaller door,” he says.
The door is electronically locked but that’s easily dealt with by Reverend Meat punching it off the hinges. Inside is a hallway with metal doors lining the walls, along with four armed guards.
“Whoops,” Eff squeaks and everyone ducks out of the doorway as the guards start firing.
           “Mimi?” Skoodge questions hopefully.
“Fine,” she groans and steps into the doorway. The bullets ting harmlessly off her metal body as she lifts her large arm and fires a large, red beam from her palm. It reduces the guards to dust.
“Nice,” D-boy comments and everyone walks in.
“Ugh, there are dozens of doors,” Nny groans, “it’ll take forever to open them all.”
“I am detecting only four presences in this room,” Mimi states.
           “Just four?” Skoodge questions.
           “Show me,” Nny orders.
Mimi points out the doors that are apparently holding prisoners. One by one, Reverend Meat punches through them. Behind the first is Dib, then Gaz, then Tenna, and finally Devi.
“Took you guys long enough,” Devi remarks as she walks out.
“You’re lucky I’m helping you at all,” Nny retorts but they both smile jokingly at each other.
“Where are the others?” Dib asks.
“We thought they were here,” Skoodge replies.
“That guard lied to us,” Nny snarls.
“Well, he didn’t exactly lie,” Sickness points out.
“Then where’s Squee?”            “He must be somewhere around here,” Eff says, “we’ll find him.”            “Mimi, can you tell?” Skoodge asks.
“This facility is quite large,” she replies, “my sensors can only cover about half this floor and I sense many presences. Wait!” She suddenly perks up, her eyes widening. “My master!”
Without warning, she flies out of the hall and back into the main corridor.
           “Hey, Mimi!” Skoodge exclaims.
“Wait up!” Dib cries as everyone chases after her.
Meanwhile, Pepito has decided to just pick the closest door at random, and blasts it open. What he sees inside stops him in his tracks.
In the middle of the room is an operating table, and strapped to it is a real-life mermaid. She gasps painfully as a scientist stands over her, scraping scales off her long tail.
“Hey! Who the-!” the scientist starts to bark but Pepito blasts him without a second thought, knocking him out, and hurries to the mermaid’s side.
“Oh boy,” he hisses nervously as he looks her over. She’s got very fish-like eyes- round and black- but they’re filled with exhaustion and pain as she looks at Pepito. Her fingers are clearly supposed to be webbed, but the webbing has been cut away. There are three gills on both sides of her abdomen where humans have their ribcage, but they’ve been cut up. Her mouth would be full of thin fangs but many have been removed. Most of the scales have been scrapped off her tail and the fin at the end is chopped up.
She makes gasping noises as her damaged gills weakly rise and fall. Pepito spots a small aquarium filled with water in the corner of the room. It’s nowhere near big enough to hold her comfortably but it’s clearly where they’ve been keeping her.
“Okay, just-just hang on,” Pepito says and quickly removes her bounds. After scooping her up as gently as he can manage, he hurries across the room to the aquarium. She immediately scrambles out of his arms and into the water, sighing heavily. Her shoulders and head can’t even fit inside but she seems a little better now.
           “You okay?” Pepito asks.
She looks at him, smiling weakly, and makes an odd gurgling noise.
“I’ll take that as a yes,” he grins, “okay, I need to find my friends. Just stay here- well, I guess you can’t really go anywhere. But we’ll come back for you once we’re ready to leave.”
She sits up as he runs out the door and stares after him in awe.
Pepito hurries across the hall and blasts open another door. This one leads to a much smaller room with only a computer and a small window in the wall to the right. There’s another scientist typing on the computer as she observes something through the window, but she immediately stops when Pepito walks in.
           “Wha-what!” she exclaims.
“Beat it,” he barks, pointing to the hall. “Oh, and there’s a scientist in the other room, knocked out. You should help them.”
She doesn’t argue and races past as Pepito approaches the window. It’s looking into a large, mostly empty room. In the middle of the room is a thick, metal gate. On the right side of the gate is a griffon and on the other side are four baby hippogriffs. They all look thin, malnourished, and have lost much of their feathers. The hippogriffs are crying as they claw at the gate, struggling to reach their parent who paws back weakly.
“I let that scientist off too easy,” Pepito snarls and blasts the prison door.
Despite his weakness, the griffon immediately rears up, spreading his wings and crowing as he scrapes the floor with his talons.
“Easy,” Pepito coos, crouching in front of him and raising his hands. “I’m here to help.”
He rests his hand on the gate and melts a hole just big enough for the babies. Immediately they rush through, chirping with delight as the griffon caws and lowers his head, nuzzling them.
Pepito smiles warmly as he watches them before leaving. He exits the lab and looks up and down the hall, at the many doors that no doubt are holding prisoners just like these ones.
He sighs heavily and rubs his horns. “It’s gonna be a long day.”
Meanwhile, at the other end of the long hall, Squee is thinking much the same thing as he leans against the wall. He just freed a fourth room of charging station prisoners- the last one, thankfully. They were all witches, vampires, and werewolves who have been here for who knows how long.
He takes a deep breath as he stands up and stretches. No time to relax. He’s gotta find his friends now.
“Speaking of, where is-?” he starts to ask when he spots something coming down the hall.
           “Squee!” Shmee shouts.
“Shmee!” Squee exclaims, dropping to his knees to catch the bear. “You made it! I was starting to worry.”
“Nothing could keep me from you,” Shmee says, “are you okay?”
“I mean, I’m not too bad, considering,” he shrugs and stands up. “Although, maybe you should leave this plane of existence now that you’re with me. I need what little energy I have left.”            “Right,” he nods, his consciousness retreating back to Squee’s private spot in reality. Squee rests him on his head as he lifts his bag onto his shoulder and starts down the hall.
“I ran into Pepito earlier,” Shmee says.
“You did? Is he okay?” Squee asks worriedly.
“He’s fine, for the most part,” he replies, “he’s farther down the hall, looking for Zim and Tak.”
“Oh, good,” he sighs, “I’d better catch up.”            He starts to run when he hears a large group of footsteps coming from behind. He spins around to an approaching group of guards in armored body suits.
“That’s him!” one of them shouts, pointing at Squee. “The escaped prisoner!”
“Uh oh,” Squee squeaks and reaches into his bag. He tosses out a Sleepy Bomb and activates his rocket wheelies, zipping backwards as the grenade goes off.
“Good thing those suits aren’t airtight,” Shmee comments as they leave behind the coughing guards to drop to the floor, unconscious.
Further down the hall, locked in one of the labs, Zim bites his lips as he struggles not to scream. Having finished removing all the items from his PAK, Doctor Mackey has decided to test the sensitivity of Zim’s antennae. And they are quite sensitive. Just the slightest pinch from the robotic clamps has Zim convulsing.
In the testing room, Mackey is enjoying the show. He’s starting to make it a game: how much pressure can he apply to make the alien scream, without crushing the antennae entirely? Zim is too proud to make it easy, but just how long can he hold out?
Mackey’s suddenly interrupted when the hallway door is blasted apart. He whips around as Pepito walks in and immediately falls to his knees.
“I knew it,” he whimpers hopelessly, “I knew the alien’s threats were true! Augh, I should’ve just evacuated when the alarm started! Please, don’t hurt me! Just take him! Just-!”
Before he can finish, Pepito picks him up by the collar and knees him in the stomach. Mackey gags as he slumps to the floor.
“You’re lucky that’s all you get,” Pepito snarls as he walks by and blasts the door leading into Zim’s prison.
Zim pants heavily as he hangs his head. With his antennae trapped in the clamps, he couldn’t hear the commotion caused by Pepito, but he’s starting to wonder what’s going on. It’s been a couple minutes since they squeezed.
A pair of feet steps into Zim’s vision and he weakly looks up at Pepito’s worried face.
Zim grins. “What took you so long.”
Pepito smiles back and quickly begins removing Zim’s restraints. As soon as his arms are free, Zim’s legs give out underneath him but Pepito quickly catches him.
“You gonna be okay?” he asks.
           “Reattach my PAK,” Zim orders.
Pepito quickly obliges. The wires slink into the PAK as he pushes it flush up against Zim’s back. Then, the spider legs burst out and scoop up all the items that were removed, bringing them back inside.
Zim pushes Pepito’s arms aside and stands on his own, taking a deep breath as he stretches and faces him. “Of course I’m okay.”
Pepito smiles and the two of them hurry out of the lab. Doctor Mackey must’ve crawled away because he’s nowhere to be seen.
Zim stops as they enter the hall and gets a look at the many destroyed doors.
           “You’ve been busy,” he comments.
“Trying to find you and Tak,” Pepito says, “there are lots of other prisoners here.”
           “And you broke yourself out.”
“Well, I wasn’t gonna wait for someone to do it for me,” he grins cheekily.
Zim grumbles as Pepito blasts through another door, interrupting Doctor Nel. She shrieks as she falls backwards before pulling a pistol out of her coat.
“Get away!” she cries. But before she can aim, Zim’s spider legs knock it out of her hands and slam her against the wall. He and Pepito rush by as she slumps to the floor, and Pepito blasts the prison door.
“Tak-!” he starts to shout but is interrupted when Tak rips through her restraints with her metal arm. She reattaches her PAK and stomps out the door.
Nel groans as she weakly lifts her head to see Tak approaching her. But before she can do anything, two of Tak’s spider legs stab through Nel’s shoulders. She screams as she’s lifted off the floor. Tak lets her hang there for a second, struggling like a fly in a spider’s web, before slicing her apart with her other two spider legs. When there’s nothing left but mush on the floor, she retracts her appendages and heads for the door.
She stops just before exiting and looks back at Zim and Pepito, who stare at her in shock.
“You guys coming or what?” she says.
“Uh…yeah, yeah let’s go,” they both nod and follow her into the hall. Before they even have a chance to look around, they hear something like an excited squeal and are immediately knocked to the ground by a small but tremendous force.
“Guys!” Squee cries as he lies on top of them.
           “Urgh…Squee?” Zim questions.
“Squee!” Pepito cheers and hugs him tight.
“I’m so glad you’re okay!” Squee exclaims.
“Yeah, yeah, so are we,” Tak groans, “can you get off of us now?”
“Oh, sorry,” he says and quickly helps them to their feet.
           “So what now?” Tak asks.
“We gotta find the others,” Squee replies.
“Right, but where do we begin?”
“I’ve been blasting my way down this hall for like an hour,” Pepito says, pointing down the hall at the destroyed doors.
“I don’t know if they’ll be in the same area,” Squee muses, “this… ‘Director’ only seems interested in paranormal creatures, or people with paranormal powers. Dib, Gaz, Devi, and Tenna are full humans. But I don’t know how he’d feel about Nny.”
“Let’s just find the leader and beat it out of him,” Zim orders, punching his fist.
“We don’t know how to find him either,” Pepito points out.
“Wait, hear that?” Tak asks. Everyone’s quiet for a second and hears rabid footsteps coming from behind.
           “Guards!” Squee exclaims.
           “Get ready,” Zim demands.
Everyone readies their weapons and waits for the guards to turn the rounded corner. What they see instead is a flying SIR unit, followed by all their friends frantically trying to keep up.
           “Mimi?” Tak questions.
“Dib! Gaz!” Zim and Pepito exclaim.
           “Nny!” Squee cries.
“Guys!” Dib and Gaz shout as their group tries to stop, only for Zim and others to jump into them. They all fall to the floor, a mess of happy hugs and excited babbling.
           “You’re all okay!” Dib exclaims.
           “More or less,” Squee shrugs.
           “You look exhausted,” Devi comments.
“You’re all hurt,” Tenna points out.
“What’d they do to you?” Johnny snarls.
“Nothing we couldn’t handle,” Pepito grins.
“How are the Night Terrors here?” Squee asks.
“I brought them,” Johnny replies, “when those useless agents couldn’t catch me.”
“Yeah, we’re here to save all of you,” Reverend Meat says.
“Although, you seem to be doing a fine job of that yourselves,” Sickness comments.
“You can give me my hammer now,” Gaz says to Pepito.
“Gladly. It weighs a ton,” he grunts, handing it to her.
“Oh, Dib,” Squee says and takes his bracelet out of his bag. “Here, I got your glove.”
“Oh, thanks,” Dib replies as he takes it.
“Alright, alright, alright,” Zim booms and stands up. “Now that we’re all together, there’s only one thing left to do. Find the leader and make him pay!”
           “I agree,” Tak growls.
“Wait, Zim,” Squee says, “this place is full of other prisoners like us. We can’t just leave them.”
“Squee’s right,” Pepito agrees, “I already freed a bunch of creatures that were being experimented on and tortured. We have to help them.”
“Ugh, fine,” Zim groans, “first we’ll free all the prisoners and get them outside safely. Agreed?”
           “Yeah!” the others cheer.
“Alright, prison break,” Eff grins and rubs his hands together. They all start to hurry down the hall, except for Dib. He stays still, staring at the floor.
“Dib?” Squee questions as everyone stops and looks back at him. “You okay?”
“…he’s just like me…” Dib mumbles.
           “Who?” Pepito questions.
“The Director,” he replies, clenching his fists. “He’s just like how I used to be. Wanting to know everything about the supernatural, wanting to find them and study them, even at the cost of their lives. Not understanding that…the Earth is their home too.”
“Aw, Dib,” Squee says with concern. “Even if that is true, you’re not like that now. All you wanna do is help people. You don’t try to hurt these creatures for no reason.”
“Squee’s right,” Johnny grunts, “if you hate the way you used to be, that means you’ve grown.”
“Exactly,” Zim says as he steps up in front Dib and squeezes his shoulder. “So pick yourself up and pull yourself together. We got an entire facility of prisoners to liberate.”
Dib stares at him with surprise before looking down at his bracelet. He slips it onto his wrist and activates his power glove, clenching his fist. “Let’s do it.”
           “Yeah!” everyone cheers.

The Battalion get revenge on the Director.
*Links to previous and next chapters in reblog*
--
Government of Doom Part 8
The Director angrily taps his fingers on his desk as he watches the surveillance footage on his computer. The Battalion is making an absolute mockery of his facility; blasting through his fortified prison doors like paper, knocking down his military-trained guards like dominoes, and freeing all of his prisoners! And to add insult to injury, they’re all smiling while they do it, like they’re having the absolute time of their life.
And they are. Of course the Battalion and the Night Terrors are having a good time, but so are the liberated prisoners. Most of them are pretty injured, but they help each other, and no amount of exhaustion can slow them down now. Some of them have been trapped here for years, and now they finally have a taste of freedom, and it’s oh so sweet.
Everyone finally slows to a stop as they reach destroyed doors, indicating that they have finally gone through the whole floor.
“Looks like we’re done here,” Pepito says, “is that everyone?”
“Should be,” Squee replies, “I think this floor was all the prisoners.”
“How many floors are there?” Tak asks.
“Four, according to the elevator,” Dib replies.
“Shmee says the second floor is for storage rooms,” Squee says, “that’s where all our stuff was being kept.”
“And the first floor looked like break rooms,” Johnny adds.
“Was there food?” Pepito asks excitedly.
“Was there?!” all of the prisoners cry out.
           “Y-yes,” Nny replies, startled.
“Then I vote we go there next,” Pepito smiles, raising his hand.
“Fine,” Zim grunts, “we’ll get some food and drink, and then we go to the fourth floor. That must be where the Director is. Onward, team!”
“Hang on, Zim,” Squee says as everyone starts heading for the elevator. “I don’t think it’s a good idea to fight the Director head-on. Dib said he’s been watching us for years. He knows what to expect from us but we have no idea what he’s got.”
“Are you saying you don’t want revenge for what he’s done?” Zim questions.
“Of course I do! He tried to suck my brain out of my head,” he replies, pointing at the burn marks on his temples. “But I’m just saying, I think we can go at it from a more…psychological approach.”
           Zim grins, intrigued. “I’m listening.”
“Before I tell you,” Squee whispers, leaning in closer. “There’s one thing we have to take care of.”
Back in his office, the Director watches the kids on his computer screen. He leans forward curiously, wondering what they’re whispering about. Then a strange antenna pokes out of Zim’s PAK and all the power goes out.
“What!” he barks, now in complete darkness.
“There,” Zim says, replacing the antenna with a lantern. Tak and Skoodge do the same with their PAKs while Mimi lights up her eyes and Squee grabs a flashlight from his bag. “All power to the facility has been turned off. If that director had any cameras, he’s blind now.”
“Literally too, unless his cybernetic eye has night vision,” Dib adds.
           “It probably does,” Tak grunts.
“Jeez, the silence is almost deafening after listening to that alarm for so long,” Tenna comments.
“It’s so much better,” Gaz remarks.
“Agreed,” Squee nods, “so, shall we go eat?”
           “Yeah!” the prisoners cheer emphatically.
The group arrive at the nearest elevator and Zim pries the doors open with his spider legs. Once everyone’s inside, a metal tentacle runs from Tak’s PAK and stabs into the wall. Electricity runs through it, giving the elevator enough power to take them to the first basement floor. Along the way, Squee explains his plan.
Once they’ve reached the floor, everyone rushes out and into the nearest room. Thankfully, it’s a small kitchen stocked with food. The prisoners immediately dig in like ravenous animals- which some of them actually are.
While everyone relaxes and eats, Squee hands his Night Terrors each a couple of flat, round bombs.
“After you plant them, push this button,” he instructs, pointing at a small red button on the top of the explosives. “Come back as soon as you’re done.”
“Got it!” Reverend Meat salutes before they run off.
“Is that gonna be enough bombs?” Devi asks.
“Sure,” Squee shrugs as he sits down. “The explosions are just to cause a cave-in anyway.”
“Hehehe,” Zim giggles nefariously as he rubs his hands. “I cannot wait to see the Director’s face. He will rue the day he messed with the Battalion.”
“I’m sure he’ll do plenty of ruing,” Pepito nods as he shoves a handful of chips into his mouth.
The Night Terrors return within a few minutes, assuring their little boss of a job well done. Not long after, everyone has eaten and the kitchen has been completely cleaned out. It wasn’t exactly a turkey dinner, but for these prisoners, it sure felt like one.
“Okay, now that we’re ready to leave,” Zim says as he stands up. “Time for phase 2.”
That same antenna exits his PAK again, releasing a field of power that turns the facility’s electricity back on, except for the red alert. As soon as he’s done that, Tak slices a chuck of metal out of the wall, revealing the wires hidden beneath. She quickly gets to work, stripping and attaching wires until another alarm starts ringing; one that repeats ‘Evacuate’.
Downstairs, the Director had been pacing back and forth in his dark office, using the night vision in his cybernetic eye. He deliberates about what to do next: he doesn’t want to get directly involved, but he can’t let these kids get away with these transgressions.
He’s quite startled when the lights turn back on, and even more startled when the alarm starts.
“What? Evacuation?” he questions as he hurries to his computer. “I didn’t issue an evacuation.”
He quickly scrolls through the surveillance footage until he finds the Battalion. After having just demolished one of his kitchens, they’ve all gone into the nearest elevator and are riding it to the surface.
The Director growls and stomps to his elevator. “Dammit.”
The Battalion and the Night Terrors reach the surface before anyone else and exit the hangar. The prisoners are all so happy to finally be free; they stretch and cheer and even cry in the sunlight.
“I never thought I’d miss the sun,” a vampire comments.
“I wonder when the next full moon is,” a werewolf muses.
“I cannot wait to get back to my coven,” a witch sighs.
The little hippogriffs hop around their father happily as he spreads his wings. The mermaid splashes her tail happily in her little tank.
“You’re all welcome to leave now,” Dib says, “but you might want to stick around and watch the show.”
Everyone gathers by the Epic, which according to Mimi’s calculations is the perfect distance away. They all settle down and watch as the SDA quickly evacuate out of the hangar.
“Can we blow it yet?” Zim asks impatiently.
“We gotta wait until we’re sure everyone’s out,” Squee replies, holding an activator in his hand.
They wait a few minutes out, until the number of people leaving lessens to a trickle and eventually nothing.
           “Is that everyone?” Squee asks.
“I don’t see the Director,” Dib says.
“Who cares. Blow it!” Zim explains and slamming his hand down on Squee’s activator.
Immediately the ground shakes as muffled explosions are heard before the hangar and the surrounding dirt collapses inwards, creating a large crater. The Battalion, the Night Terrors, and the prisoners all cheer while the SDA watch in horror as their facility is completely destroyed.
“That worked way better than I thought it would,” Gaz comments.
           “It was glorious!” Pepito cheers.
           “Good work, team,” Zim says.
Their celebration is cut short when something bursts out of the rubble. The Director pulls himself out on top of the crater. His suit is torn and ripped, his hair is messed up, and there are some cuts on the left side of his face, but he seems otherwise unharmed.
“You…” he snarls as he stands up on solid ground, a few feet from the Epic. “You little brats! Do you realize what you’ve done?”
“Sure,” Gaz shrugs, “destroyed your precious facility.”
“Freed all your experiments,” Squee adds.
“Ruined your life’s work,” Pepito concludes, “not bad for a day’s work, huh?”
They chuckle amongst themselves while the Director fumes.
“You will not get away with this,” he snarls, the fingers on his right hand twitching. The kids stop laughing as they sense danger.
The Director’s right sleeves are torn apart, revealing his robotic arm as it unfolds and expands into a large cannon.
“Everyone, stay behind me!” Zim barks as he jumps forward. His spider legs extend and create a force field. The Director fires a large plasma beam from his cannon. Zim’s shield blocks it, but the force of the blast is enough to push him back a couple inches.
The Director smirks as he reaches into his jacket with his other hand and tosses out three small, metal discs. They slide across the ground, stopping near Zim’s feet. He recoils as he recognizes them as the shocking devices that were used to capture them. But before they can go off, Eff and D-boy slide underneath Zim’s shield and kicks them back to the Director.
He flinches and quickly blasts them with his cannon. But once the beam has cleared, his cybernetic eye picks up something approaching at high speed. He barely catches a glimpse of something purple before Sickness appears before him and smashes his eye with a swift kick, knocking him to the ground.
Snarling, the Director lifts his cannon and prepares to fire again. Sickness dashes away to be replaced with Reverend Meat, who grabs the cannon and points it at the sky. The beam fires harmlessly before he crushes the underside of the cannon with a quick squeeze.
“H-how-!” the Director barks as he reaches into his jacket. He grabs another electrocuting device and moves to stick it to Reverend Meat. But before he can, the Doughboys flip over Reverend Meat’s shoulders and land on the Director, pinning him to the ground. Then, Reverend Meat grips his metallic arm and rips it from his shoulder.
The Director pants on the ground as the Night Terrors stand over him, waiting for him to retaliate. He glares at them and asks, “what…what are you?”
“Huh? You don’t know who we are?” D-boy asks, offended.
“Seriously? You’ve been watching them for years and never noticed us?” Eff adds, pointing at the Battalion.
“Yeah, we’re like super important to their story,” Sickness points out.
“You need better spies,” Reverend Meat comments.
They prepare to attack him when Dib speaks up. “Wait, that’s enough!”
The Night Terrors look at him incredulously. “You’re not our boss,” Reverend Meat points out.
“Guys, come on,” Squee scolds, “if Dib says stop, then stop.”
They shrug apathetically and release the Director before walking back to the rest of the group. As he sits up, Dib starts to approach.
“Dib, be careful,” Zim warns, “we don’t know what other tricks he’s hiding.”
“It’s okay,” he replies, “I don’t think he has any more enhancements.”
He looks down at the Director. “I’m right, aren’t I? You were willing to give yourself robotic upgrades but there was a line you couldn’t cross, cause if you did, you wouldn’t be human anymore. You’d be just like the creatures you detest.”
The Director just glares at him.
Dib’s expression softens and he looks back at his friends and the prisoners. “But look at them. They’re not mindless killing machines. This planet is their home too.”
“Life doesn’t have to be all about survival; kill-or-be-killed,” he continues as he turns back to the Director. “Sometimes it can be- it should be just…living.”
           The Director still doesn’t reply.
Dib just shrugs. “Well, it doesn’t matter if you listen to me or not. You’re pretty much useless now. And if later you decide to rise up and cause trouble again,” he grins brightly, “we’ll stop you.”
The Director blinks with surprise as Dib walks back to his friends and watches them quietly.
“So…we won?” one of the witches ask.
           Dib nods, “we won.”
Immediately, everyone erupts into cheers. They hug each other and incessantly thank the Battalion for help. Most of them are pretty receiving, except for Nny who looks like he’d rather be anywhere else. At least until Squee hugs him, and his scowl melts into a weary smile.
“Do you guys need help getting anywhere?” Dib asks.
“Thank you, but you’ve done enough,” one of the vampires replies, “we need to take care of ourselves from here.”
“Yeah, you can leave the rest to us,” a werewolf adds.
“Well then, good luck,” Dib smiles.
“Thanks, you too!” everyone waves happily as the Battalion and the Night Terrors climb into the Epic.
As the ship takes off into the air, they stick around for a second to watch the ex-prisoners leave the compound. They help each other, carrying the baby hippogriffs and pushing the mermaid’s tank on the trolley.
“They’ll be okay,” Devi says, smiling warmly.
“Yeah,” Nny agrees, “so let’s go home already.”
“My pleasure,” Zim replies and activates the Epic’s thrusters. They blast through the sky and fly away.
The Director stares after them until they’ve disappeared from sight then looks back at the ex-prisoners. Watching them right now, so happy and free, it almost feels like Dib is right. They aren’t so dangerous.
“Uh, s-sir?” one of the SDA scientists says as he approaches the Director. “What…do we do now?”            The Director takes a deep breath before standing up and facing his employees. “You’re all on temporary leave. Go home; spend some time with your family. I’ll call you when anything changes.”
“What about you, sir?” he asks.
“I’m going home too,” the Director replies as he looks up at the clear, blue sky. “I got a lot of thinking to do.”
Later that night, after everyone got home and cleaned up, Zim calls the Battalion to his base for an emergency meeting.
“What is it now?” Gaz asks impatiently as they exit the elevator to his lab.
“Yeah, I was just about to go to be-ohhhh,” Pepito stops as they notice the glass cage in the middle of the room, with the SDA agents still inside. They’re lying on the ground, gibbering mindlessly, their eyes distant and drool running out of their mouths.
“I forgot about them,” Squee remarks.
“Yeah,” Zim says, “turns out, Gir had been singing his Doom song to them this whole time.”
           “Good god,” Dib comments pitifully.
“Yeah. So what should we do with them?” Zim asks.
           “Annihilate them,” Tak snarls.
“Settle down, Tak,” Pepito scolds, “why can’t we just let them go? I mean they’re pretty much useless now.”
“Actually,” Squee argues, “you know what might be really funny?”
Everyone looks at him curiously and he grins.
Back in Nevada, the Director sits in his office in his modest, country home. The right sleeve of his sweatshirt is hemmed and there’s a patch over his right eye. He’s rolling around a stress ball on his desk as he stares blankly at his computer screen.
His deep train of thought is interrupted when his house shakes, like something just crashed outside his door. He quickly stands up and goes outside to find a large, metal crate sitting on his front step. Facing him is a big, red button with a note taped next to it. It reads: ‘An olive branch. XO, the Battalion.’
The Director narrows his eye suspiciously before pushing the button. The metal walls quickly fold up into a small disc, releasing the four SDA agents. They all lie on the ground, gibbering, moaning, and drooling and completely mindless.
The Director sighs bitterly. “I hate those kids.”

Fanatics 63.3
Zim and the others have successfully broken out of their cell while Squee and the minions have successfully broken into the ship. Now all they have to do is find each other before the ship takes off. What could go wrong? Previous! Next!
Abductions Part Three
The Plitletians scurry around the cockpit of their ship, attempting to figure out who or what set off the alarm. They’re in a panic, preparing weapons and other emergency protocols. What could have possibly blown a hole through the underside of their ship?            “What is it?” Captain Zul’ut demands as he marches through the room.
“I don’t know, sir,” one of the officers replies as he stares at a large screen. It shows footage from the cameras positioned throughout the ship, but slowly one by one each camera is being taken out. “It’s destroying all of our security cameras on the first floor!”
The captain looks at the footage. The cameras from 33a to 39t have all been taken out. He watches as more cameras are taken out: 39u, 39v, 39w.
“It’s making its way through the halls, destroying each camera as it enters,” Zul’ut observes. “We need to cut it off. Get to hall 40a and prepare to kill on sight! Also put a pair of guards at the prison door.”
A group of guards salutes and hurries out of the door.
Zul’ut looks back at the security footage and growls uncertainly. He may be able to follow along to the destruction of the cameras, but he can’t catch what’s destroying them.
           “Prepare Yexultex.”
           “Sir?” the officer questions.
“We need to be ready for the worst scenario,” Zul’ut orders.
“Yes, sir,” he nods before whispering a code into his radio.
Zul’ut glares at the screen, his mouth tendrils twitching angrily. Whatever the intruder is, it must be a mighty, powerful force of fear. They’ll need everything to stop it.
Meanwhile, at the prison cell, two guards station themselves at the door. They’re both holding two long staves with their tentacle arms.
“Why do we have to guard the cell?” one of the guards ask, “if they try anything, the motion censored guns will take them out.”
“Extra precaution,” the other guard shrugs, “you know how cautious the captain is.”
“I think it’s a waste of time,” the first guard groans, “nothing can beat our mothership.”
They both jump with surprise at a loud bang coming from the other side of the cell door. There’s a second, this time causing a dent to bulge out towards them. A third, and a large hand bursts through. The Plitletians are too stunned to do anything.
The hand slips back through the hole and two sets of fingers grabs the edge of the hole and begin ripping it wider, tearing the thick metal like paper.
The fingers disappear and are replaced by a group of human faces peeking through.
The guards flinch and jab their staves through the hole. The humans jump back, dodging them. One of the staves is grabbed and yanked, pulling the Plitletian off his feet and through the hole. He looks up, face to face with the dark eyed human that’s gripping his staff.
The human smirks, sending a shiver down the guard’s back.
He lifts his foot and brings it down onto the Plitletian’s face. He does this a couple times until the poor alien’s face has been completely smashed to a pulp. Then he shoves him back through the hole.
The second guard cries out with dismay at the sight of his partner. He glares angrily as a human climbs through the hole, his boot covered in dark purple blood and the staff in his hand.
The guard does something akin to snarling and whips his staff at the human. He grabs it, stopping it with ease, then jabs his stolen staff into the Plitletian’s face. He continuously does this until it’s been completely driven through the alien’s head. He slumps to the floor, next to his partner.
Devi scoffs with disgust as she climbs through the hall, joining Johnny in the hallway. “Was all of that really necessary?”
“Oh, you’re right, I’m sorry,” Johnny says sarcastically, “I should’ve just asked them to let us go peacefully.”            “Well, they’re definitely not gonna do that now,” Tenna says as she joins them.
“Woo!” Eff cheers as he leaps through the hole. “Prison break!”
“Alright,” Zim booms as he climbs through, the others following him. “First thing we should do is figure out where the control room is.”
“What about Squee?” Pepito asks worriedly.
“Don’t worry so much,” Zim orders, “Squee’s fine, he can take care of himself. He’ll find us. It’s our job to make sure this ship doesn’t take off before he does.”            “Or at all,” Dib adds.
Pepito doesn’t argue, but he still chews his fingernail, unsure.
“Okay, team,” Zim shouts, “move out.”
The group jogs down the corridor, away from the prison cell.
Meanwhile Squee races through the metallic halls at full speed, clutching Minimoose, Nugget, and his bag to his chest while Gir flies ahead. Shmee’s been keeping busy destroying security cameras stuck to the ceiling. He moves so quickly the cameras don’t even catch them.
They skid to a stop and Squee groans as he looks up at a large door. Mounted to the wall next to it is something that might be a scanner.
“Another door,” he whines, “we’re getting nowhere. How are we ever gonna find them?”
“Just keep moving,” Shmee orders, “best not run into any enemies.”
“Don’t need to tell me,” he sighs as they turn back.
They start to turn a corner when Gir stops abruptly, hovering in midair. Squee skids to a stop beneath him and whimpers.
Standing before them, taking up the whole corridor is a group of six tentacle aliens. They gurgle to each other as they stare at Squee.
“Got a plan?” Shmee asks quietly.
“Uh,” Squee mutters as the aliens scuttle forward, lifting their tentacle arms. “Yeah.”
He grabs Gir’s leg, turns tail, and books it down the hall. “Run!”
The aliens gurgle with surprise and quickly pursue him.
Gir cheers with delight as Squee pulls him through the air like a balloon. Shmee rides on his head, keeping an eye on their pursuers.
“They’re catching up!” Shmee warns. They cover a lot of ground with their tentacles.
Squee glances over his shoulder. His eyes widen with surprise as the aliens stretch their tentacle arms at him.
He drops to the floor, ducking beneath their arms, and scurries left into a different hallway. The aliens grip the walls with their tentacles, turning effortlessly after him.
“Ah, jeez!” Squee cries as he tries to pick up speed. These things are going to catch him in no time!
Suddenly, Gir yanks his leg out of Squee’s hand and rockets towards the aliens.
“Gir!” Squee exclaims as he spins around.
The aliens are completely taken by surprise and Gir high kicks one in the face, knocking them to the ground.
Shmee chuckles, impressed, before leaping off Squee’s head and tackling another alien. He and Gir keep the two occupied on the floor, while the last four glare at Squee.
“No choice I guess,” Squee sighs. He rests his bag, Nugget, and Minimoose against the wall. “Stay there.”
Squee faces off with the aliens, his hands hovering at his sides, ready to draw his knives from his back holster. The aliens glare at him, doing something akin to snarling with their mouth tendrils.
Simultaneously, they shoot their tentacle arms at him. Squee quickly ducks under them but is taken by surprise when they bend backwards back at him.
Their tentacles have the flexibility of noodles. They can bend effortlessly in any direction. That makes them hard to dodge, but it does give Squee an idea.
He hops up, slipping between two tentacles over top him. As expected, all eight tentacles follow in the exact same direction. He grins and dives to the left side, past all of the other tentacles and closer to the wall. They still follow.
He races down the corridor towards the aliens and dashes past them. They turn after him, their tentacles still stretching after him.
Gir’s been wrapped up by his opponent and is being held in the air. Squee dives between the alien’s body and its arm, grabbing Gir and yanking him away as he passes. The other aliens’ tentacles follow suit.
Shmee is wrestling with his opponent. Squee snakes between the alien’s arms, doing a half-figure 8 as he grabs Shmee and leaps away. The other aliens’ tentacles again do the exact same.
Finally, Gir and Shmee held safely in his arms, Squee races past the four aliens on their right side. He skids to a stop a few feet away and faces them, narrowing his eyes.
The aliens turn to face him, stretching their tentacles after him. But as they do so, they tighten around each other and their two floored comrades. They all cry out with surprise as they’re yanked into each other, clattering to the floor in a big, messy pile. Their tentacle legs flail about in shock with their tentacle arms all tangled up.
Squee smiles as he slips his bag onto his shoulder, Nugget nestled safely inside while Minimoose hovers beside him, Gir hangs off his shoulder, and Shmee rides his head.
He notices a bunch of stuff spread out on the floor. When the aliens slammed into each other, it must’ve all flew off their utility belts. It looks like a bunch of alien junk, but Squee is able to identify something as a card. Perhaps a key card?
Squee picks it up and the aliens start shouting at him in their garbled language. It must be something important if they’re this distraught over him taking it.
Squee grins and pockets it. The aliens shout some more and try to free themselves, but the more they struggle the more tangled up they get.
“Well, guys,” Squee says as he turns away. “I’d love to stick around but it looks to me like you’re uh all…tied up.”
Gir immediately bursts into laughter while Shmee groans. Squee smiles and races away from the jumbled mess of aliens.

Fanatics 50
A poltergeist the Battalion locked up escapes and is out for revenge against the kid who killed him. Except the kid's grown up now and also Nny, who's scarier than any hate-driven poltergeist.  Previous! Next!
Reggie the Ripper
A janitor sweeps the halls of North Arc High School. He moves quickly, eager to get home and begin the weekend.
As he’s finishing up around the North Arc High Massacre Memorial, he hears a bang to his right. He stops and looks over curiously. It sounded like it was coming from behind the wall.
He hears it again and this time the portraits clack against the wall. The janitor jumps back, surprised. What’s causing it that?             There’s another bang and the portraits all clatter to the floor. The janitor steps back, fear filling his chest.
            “Johnathan Cessation…”
The voice blows through his ears like wind. He looks around, unsure of whether he actually heard anything.
            “Johnathan Cessation!”
This time it’s a scream that rips through his eardrums. The janitor falls to his knees, clutching his ears.
There’s another bang. He glances up at the wall just before it explodes.
Squee pours himself a bowl of cereal and saunters into the living room. He collapses on the couch next to Johnny and Nugget and starts eating as they watch TV. The City News is on. A reporter is doing a bit outside North Arc High School. The heading is ‘Bombing in School?’
“There was an explosion in North Arc High School last night,” the reporter explains, “it occurred after school hours. The only witness was Jose Manuel, a janitor, who is currently in critical condition. The only damage to the school was a small section of a hallway and the North Arc High Massacre Memorial.”
It cuts to the site of the explosion. It shows a large hole in wall between two connecting hallways. There’s lots of rubble surrounding the site.
“Police are baffled about the cause of the explosion as no chemicals or even burn marks were found around the site. It looks as if something smashed through the wall, as opposed to blowing it up. Our hearts go out to the relatives of those involved in the massacre over ten years ago. The mayor says he will have the school and the memorial repaired right away.”
As it cuts to commercial, Johnny glances at Squee and blinks with surprise. “Squee, are you alright?”
Squee is staring at the TV, his spoon slipping from his trembling fingers. He looks positively terrified.
He quickly moves his bowl to the coffee table and hustles to his room. “I gotta call Dib.”
“Huh? Why? What’s wrong?” Johnny asks but Squee doesn’t answer.
He grabs his cellphone and calls Dib. He answers quickly.
“Did you see the City News?” Squee asks immediately.
“Of course I saw it,” Dib replies. He sounds just as concerned. “Do you think it was that poltergeist we locked up?”
“I don’t know. But either way, it’s free now.”
“You’re right. And if it’s as dangerous as you believe, then we gotta find it,” Dib declares, “I’ll round everyone up and we’ll go to North Arc High.”
“Alright. See you soon,” Squee nods and hangs up. He quickly changes out of his pyjamas and packs up anything he might need into his bag, mainly his knives and bombs.
Once he’s ready, he stands in the middle of his room, deep in thought.
“Are bad things gonna happen, Shmee?” he asks.
“Probably,” the bear replies from his bed. “That spirit is dangerous and powerful. I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume it’s gotten even more powerful. It’s fueled by vengeance and hate. The only way to stop it is to destroy it.”
Squee moans worriedly and stares at the floor.
About an hour later, Dib arrives with the rest of the Battalion packed into his dad’s car. Squee hurries out the door, telling Johnny he should be back later tonight, and squeezes into the backseat with Pepito and Gaz.
“So what’s the plan?” Pepito asks.
“We’ll start at North Arc High and try to gather some clues,” Dib replies.
“If that poltergeist is free, it’s probably miles away by now,” Gaz points out.
“Maybe not,” Squee argues, “it wants revenge. It’s after someone, most likely Johnathan Cessation, the person who killed it.”
“So if we find Johnathan Cessation, we’ll find the poltergeist,” Zim declares.
“We don’t even know who Johnathan Cessation is, or if he’s even still alive,” Dib says.
“Yes, but finding a powerful poltergeist should be much easier than some kid who disappeared ten years ago,” Pepito says.
“Right. Maybe some of those other ghosts know where it’s going,” Squee suggests, “or maybe we’ll be able to track its like evil energy.”
“Well, only one way to find out,” Dib states.
They arrive at North Arc High. The news crew is all gone but there’s police tape across the school’s front door and gate.
They keep driving and park the car a few blocks away.
“We better not go through the front door this time,” Dib says.
“We’re gonna have to be extra subtle,” Squee adds.
            “Zim,” Pepito says accusingly.
“Yeah, yeah. I won’t break the doors this time,” Zim groans.
They walk around to the back of the school. Zim uses his EMP to knock out all the camera and security systems. Then Dib picks a lock on one of the windows and they sneak inside.
The school is dark and completely empty. Appearance wise, it’s not much different from when they were there last time. But there’s a heaviness in the air that wasn’t there before. It’s obvious that something bad happened.
They hurry through the school to the site of the explosion. The rubble’s been all cleaned up, so there’s just a huge hole in the wall that used to separate the rest of the school from the site of the massacre ten years ago. Squee and Pepito immediately stop in their tracks at the sight of the ruined hall.
            “What’s wrong?” Zim asks.
“Uh, nothing,” Pepito replies awkwardly, “it’s just…unsettling.”
Last time, the hallway was filled with the ghosts of the victims of the massacre. That hasn’t changed. They’re still there, sitting or hovering, staring at the kids with wide, glowing eyes.
“Think they can communicate?” Pepito asks.
“They look human enough,” Squee replies, “and I don’t sense any evil from them.”
The pair move forward, past Zim, Dib, and Gaz, and approach the hallway of spirits.
            Pepito clears his throat. “Uh…hello.”
            Nobody replies.
“Um we were wondering if perhaps any of you knew where the poltergeist that was here went?” he asks.
            Still nobody replies.
“I don’t think this is working,” Squee sighs.
            “You smell like him.”
They flinch and look at a male adult ghost. He moves from the pack and hovers in front of them.
            “Wh-who?” Pepito asks.
            “Johnathan Cessation,” the ghost replies.
            “Wh-who smells like him?”
“He does.” He points at Squee.
Pepito and Squee look at each other with surprise.
“What’s going on?” Zim whispers to Dib and Gaz.
“I have no idea,” Dib replies.
“I was the councillor at this school,” the ghost explains, “I saw Johnathan more than I saw anyone else. He was a…very troubled child. Even before the death of his mother and sister.”
“He saw them both killed before his eyes by the serial killer, Reggie the Ripper.”
            “Reggie the Ripper?” Pepito questions.
“He was famous in this city. Killed dozens of people. He decided to attack the school one day. But he was the one that was killed, along with all of us.”
“By Johnathan Cessation,” Pepito states, “Reggie the Ripper is the poltergeist.”
“Yes,” the ghost nods, “and he wants revenge.”
“So he is going after Johnathan Cessation,” Pepito says, “but how are we going to find him? Squee, any ideas? Squee?”
Squee doesn’t reply. He’s staring at the floor, his mind spinning.
‘Reggie the Ripper was killed by Johnathan Cessation. Johnathan Cessation was the killer behind the North Arc High Massacre ten years. Johnathan Cessation disappeared ten years ago. I smell like Johnathan Cessation.’
            ‘Johnathan Cessation…Johnathan C…Johnny…C…’
“He’s going after Nny!” Squee cries.
Across the city, Johnny watches Devi and Tenna with mild annoyance as they peruse the tables at a garage sale. They chatter excitedly as they examine the different items. Johnny just scoffs with disgust.
“I shouldn’t have come,” he mutters.
“I’m surprised you did,” Tenna says.
“Eh,” he shrugs, “I’m feeling…restless. I needed to get out.”
“Well, since you’re here you might as well look around,” Devi points out.
“I don’t wanna buy some random stranger’s old junk,” Johnny scowls.
“It’s not all junk. Garage sales are great for finding jars and cups I can use when painting,” she argues, “maybe you’ll find something useful too.”
Johnny scoffs and looks up at the sky. He’s feeling even grumpier than usual. Something’s bugging him, but he’s not sure what. He’s just got a really bad feeling.
Back at North Arc High, Zim, Dib, Gaz, and Pepito are flabbergasted as Squee frantically races past them and down the hall.
“Squee, wait!” Pepito exclaims as they chase after him.
“That poltergeist is gonna go after Johnny!” Squee cries, “I’ve gotta warn him!”
“Hold on!” Zim snaps and grabs the back of his shirt. He pulls Squee back and they fall to the floor.
“How do you know?” he asks.
“I smell like Johnathan Cessation,” Squee explains, panting heavily. “Nny goes by Johnny C. He doesn’t remember any of his past.”
“It does make sense,” Dib agrees.
“I gotta warn him,” Squee breathes.
“So call him,” Zim says, “and we’ll head over there right now.”             Squee nods as he slowly begins to calm down. He takes out his phone and calls the house as they leave the school.
“Come on, pick up pick up,” he begs but nobody answers. “Damn. Maybe he’s out or downstairs.”
“Don’t worry. We’ll find him,” Pepito says reassuringly, “besides, it’s Johnny we’re talking about. I think the poltergeist would be in more trouble if he found him first.”
Squee tries to force a smile but it’s weak. He’s just too worried.
They get back to Dib’s car and start heading to the South End. Along the way, Squee grabs a notebook, a pen, and a lighter from his bag.
“What are you doing?” Gaz asks.
“Arranging for some back up,” Squee replies, “just in case.”             He scribbles something down and rips the page out. Then he lights it on fire.
“Whoa!” Dib exclaims. Squee ignores him as the page completely burns to ash. Then he put puts his stuff back in his bag and sits back.
Meanwhile, across the city in a gutted VW van stuffed with mattresses, Mr. Fuck, Psycho Doughboy, Sickness, and Reverend Meat are spending the afternoon like they spend most of their afternoons: lazing about with one of their roommates, Serene Von the vampire. Their landlord and other roommate, Aron Yoon, is at school right now.
“And so I said, ‘you can’t talk to me like that’,” Serene says dramatically, “and then I drank all his blood.”
            “Nice,” Eff comments.
“How come all of your break-up stories end with you drinking the guy’s blood?” Sickness asks.
“That’s just my go-to response,” Serene shrugs.
Pieces of paper suddenly fly out of Eff and D-boy’s hats, which are lying on the beds. They stare at them for a second before D-boy grab them.
“What is it?” Reverend Meat asks.
“Messages from the little boss,” D-boy replies. Both papers are singed around the edges and have the same message written on them.
            “A mission?” Sickness asks excitedly.
            “Guess so.”
“What’s it say?” Eff asks as they squeeze together to read it.
“‘Keep Nny Safe’,” D-boy replies, “safe from what?”
“Life in general?” Reverend Meat suggests.
“This is our first mission since leaving the Nightmare,” Eff points out as he puts on his hat and jacket. “We better not screw it up.”
“Then I guess we should start by finding Nny,” Reverend Meat declares.
            “What about me?” Serene asks.
“Stay here, take care of the van,” Sickness shrugs, “we might be gone a while.”
“Later,” D-boy grunts as the four of them head out.
They start walking, then trotting, and quickly pick up speed until they’re full-on sprinting. They leap into a nearby alley and wall jump between the two buildings until they land on the roof. Then they travel through the city by rooftops, like squirrels, their superior senses scanning the grounds for Nny.
Meanwhile, Johnny, Devi, and Tenna stroll down the street, sipping on Brain Freezys. Johnny is staring at the sky with a blank expression. Devi is watching him closely.
“Something on your mind?” she asks, “you seem distracted.”
“Why would you think that?” Johnny asks.
“Well, when we were buying our drinks, the cashier complained about us paying in change and you didn’t seem to notice,” she points out, “normally you’d get all pissy about that kind of thing.”
“Oh,” he mutters, “I don’t know. It’s nothing I guess.”
            “You guess?” Tenna questions.
“Eh,” Johnny groans and scratches his neck. “Well…you ever get a feeling that something horrible is about to happen?”
            “Sometimes,” she replies.
“I mean I usually have it all the time,” he shrugs, “but today it’s intensified. And Squee was really jumpy this morning too. Something’s gonna happen.”
“Okay,” Devi says, “so what do you wanna do?”             Before Johnny can answer, they’re startled to a stop when four people suddenly land on the ground before them.
“Found ya,” Eff grins as he, D-boy, Sickness, and Reverend Meat stand up.
“What are you guys doing here?” Devi asks, surprised.
“Squee sent us,” Reverend Meat replies, “wants us to keep Nny safe.”             “Keep me safe?” Johnny questions, “from what?”
“Not sure,” D-boy shrugs, “he didn’t give any specifics.”
“You think it has anything to do with that?” Sickness asks. She’s looking back towards the sky. There’s a billow of dark clouds breaking up the otherwise clear, blue sky. And it almost looks like they’re heading right towards them.
“That doesn’t look natural,” Eff comments.
“Gear up, crew,” Reverend Meat orders as he grabs his knuckles. Sickness stretches her legs. Eff pulls out a large machete from his hat; D-boy produces a large sledgehammer from his.
“Should we try to avoid it?” Sickness suggests.
“Nah, it’ll catch up to us,” D-boy says then glances at Devi and Tenna. “So if you two wanna beat it, now would be the time.”             “What is it?” Devi asks.
“Whatever it is, it absolutely reeks of evil,” Eff replies.
The clouds move unnaturally fast through the sky until they’re right over them. Then they seem to hover in place for a moment before plummeting towards them.
Johnny, Devi, Tenna, and the Night Terrors jump out of the way as the black clouds land on the road. They suddenly dissipate, revealing a man who’s completely transparent. His features are hard to make out but his fingers look sharp like knives and he’s letting off black steam.
“I smell you, Johnathan Cessation,” he snarls.
D-boy wastes no time. He leaps at the creature and swings his hammer.
“Not you,” he grunts and waves his hand. An invisible force slams into D-boy and sends him flying down the street.
            “D-boy!” Sickness exclaims.
Eff goes next. He goes in from the left and swings his machete. The spirit spits with annoyance and waves his hand. Eff flies off his feet and slams into a nearby building.
Sickness and Reverend Meat charge together. Sickness jumps up and goes in for a drop kick while Reverend Meat goes in low with his fist pulled back.
The spirit points at each of them with both hands. They fly off their feet and tumble down the road.
“None of you,” he snarls. His colourless eyes focus on Johnny. He, Devi, and Tenna flinch back.
            The spirit grins. “It’s you.”
He charges at Johnny like a beast, his claws out. Johnny’s eyes widen with surprise.
A large hammer smashes into the spirit’s face before he can reach him. D-boy swings and sends him flying back down the road. He pants as he stands in front of Johnny and the girls. He looks relatively unharmed, except for his make-up, which has been smeared.
“That was for my make-up,” D-boy snarls, “asshole.”
Before the spirit can get up, Sickness and Reverend Meat race in from both sides. Reverend Meat grabs him by the top of his head and throws him up then Sickness kicks him like a football. He goes flying back down the road. Eff leaps at him, swings his machete, and stabs him through the chest, bringing him down against the asphalt.
“Listen, ghoulie,” Eff growls, standing over him. “I don’t know what your deal is, but this is our first official job, and we gotta impress our little boss. So why don’t you go fly on back to your crypt, and we’ll pretend none of this happened.”
“Don’t get in my way,” the spirit snarls.
            “Huh?” Eff questions.
An invisible force hits him in the stomach. He flies off his feet and lands hard on the asphalt. The spirit pulls out the machete from his chest and stands up. The hole seals up, like he wasn’t even stabbed at all.
“I guess we’re doing this the hard way,” Reverend Meat grunts.
            “Good,” D-boy snarls.
He charges the spirit, swinging his hammer. The spirit waves his hand and he flies off his feet. Reverend Meat goes in after him, but he just gets knocked back too.
“What is he, a Jedi?” Reverend snarls.
“It’s hard to defend against an attack you can’t see,” Eff growls.
“He waves his hands to attack,” Sickness points out, “and he’s only got two of them.”
            “Gotcha,” D-boy grunts.
The four of them charge the spirit at once. They leap at him, fists back, legs high, and weapons swinging.
            “Die,” the spirit snarls.
They stop abruptly in midair and hang there. They start trashing about and scratching at their throats as they gasp for air.
            “They’re being strangled!” Devi exclaims.
Johnny grabs his knives from his jacket and charges the spirit. He sees him coming and grins, “good.”
The Night Terrors are dropped and he turns to face Johnny. He skids to a stop and steps back warily.
“Oh, that was horrible,” Sickness coughs as she rubs her neck.
“Yeah. Who would’ve thought breathing was so important,” Eff pants.
“Johnathan Cessation,” the spirit snarls, “do you remember me?”
Before Johnny can fully register the question, he’s suddenly knocked off his feet.
“Who am I, Johnathan Cessation!” the spirit shrieks.
He’s picked up off the road and thrown against a wall.
“What’s my name! Say it!” the spirit screeches, “what’s my name!”
“Reggie the Ripper!”             The spirit stops and turns around. Standing farther down the road are Zim, Dib, Gaz, Squee, and Pepito, all of them with their weapons.
“Why are so many pests getting in the way of my revenge!” Reggie cries out with frustration.
“Your revenge is pointless!” Squee snaps, “Johnny doesn’t remember his past! He doesn’t remember you or what he did! He can’t feel anything about it!”
“I don’t care about his feelings!” he barks, “he killed me! I was a killer! People were scared to leave their homes because of me! I was famous! And he ruined it!”
“You know this guy, Johnny?” Tenna asks as she and Devi help him up.
            “Apparently,” he grunts.
“Reggie the Ripper,” Devi says, “I remember him. He was a serial killer when I was a kid. He was also one of the victims of the North Arc High Massacre.”
“And I killed him?” Johnny questions.
Reggie takes a step towards the kids. “I remember you. You helped to free me. Before you showed up at the school, I had no idea Johnathan Cessation was alive. But when I smelt him on you, I knew I could exact my revenge.”
            Squee winces regretfully.
“Don’t let him get to you, Squee,” Dib orders.
“I’m fine,” Squee insists, “let’s just get rid of him.”
“My pleasure,” Zim smirks and lifts his laser guns.
“Wait!” Eff exclaims, “Squee, let us handle him!”
“Yeah. You and your friends stay back,” D-boy adds
The Night Terrors stand up and get ready to attack again. Reggie snarls and waves his arm at them. They’re immediately thrown off their feet and slam into the road.
            “What happened?” Gaz asks.
“They were hit by some kind of invisible force,” Dib replies.
“Nah, I could sense it,” Pepito says.
“Me too,” Squee adds, “like a wave of evil.”
“Alright, then you two be our eyes,” Zim orders.
“Don’t worry, we can handle it,” Reverend Meat says unconvincingly as the Night Terrors groan with pain.
“You guys stick to the mission I gave you,” Squee demands, “we have a plan.”
They look at him with surprise before nodding and hurrying to Johnny’s side.
Squee grabs a pen and a notebook with a lock from his bag. Dib grabs a large textbook from Zim’s PAK and starts flipping through it, searching for something.
“A plan? You think you can stop me?” Reggie snaps, “nothing will stop me until I get my revenge!”
            “Oh, shut up,” Gaz scoffs.
Reggie snarls, offended, and waves his hand.
            “Duck!” Pepito cries.
The kids fall to their knees and underneath the wave of evil. They feel it blow through their hair.
Pepito jumps to his feet and swings his guitar, releasing a wave of dark magic at Reggie. It knocks him back a couple feet.
“Dib, Squee, you guys get the plan ready,” Zim orders, “Gaz, Pepito, and I will hold him off.”
            “O-okay,” Squee nods uncertainly.
“Found it!” Dib exclaims and holds his book open to a page with different symbols and explanations on it. He points to one that resembles a pentagram with strange lettering surrounding it. “This symbol will keep him trapped in your book. You just gotta draw it on the front and back pages.”
“Is this really going to work?” Squee asks.
“We’ll make it work,” Dib declares.
Squee nods and they get to work.
Zim, Gaz, and Pepito charge Reggie. He shouts with anger and swings his arm at them.
“Duck!” Pepito orders. They fall onto all fours briefly before jumping back up to their feet, not slowing down for a second.
Zim starts shooting his lasers guns. Reggie jumps to the right to dodge. Gaz swings her bat at him. He catches it, digging his claw-like fingers into the wood. Pepito charges from his left and swings his guitar, firing a wave black magic. It smashes into Reggie and sends him tumbling towards Zim.
Zim’s spider legs release from his PAK and plunge at Reggie. He lifts his arms to block and they stab right through him.
“Nice!” Gaz cheers while Zim grins victoriously.
Reggie snarls and points the palms of his hands at Zim.
“Zim, move!” Pepito orders. He immediately retracts his spider legs and jumps back. A blast of poltergeist evil flies past his face, knocking his wig off his head.
Zim stumbles back, somewhat dazed. Pepito sighs with relief.
Reggie stands up, snarling. The holes in his arms seal up without a trace.
            “He can heal,” Pepito observes.
            “What a pain,” Gaz comments.
“Dib, Squee, how’s it going?” Zim asks impatiently.
            “Almost done,” Dib replies.
Reggie looks at Dib and Squee and snarls. He drops onto all fours like a beast and charges towards them. They exclaim with surprise.
“Back off!” Zim snaps and starts firing at him. He weaves across the road, dodging each laser, his sights set on Dib and Squee. Pepito swings his guitar, shooting a wave of black magic at him, but he ducks underneath it.
            He leaps at them.
“Shmee!” Squee cries. The bear jumps out of his bag and prepares to meet Reggie head-on when in a flash of purple, Sickness appears between them.                     “Sickness!” Squee and Shmee exclaim.
Sickness grabs Reggie’s hands, trapping him in a Mercy-like parry. His claws dig into her hands, but she doesn’t relent.
“I know you gave us specific orders,” she says, “but we still gotta protect our little boss.”
Reverend Meat leaps at Reggie from behind. Unable to dodge, Reverend successfully pounds the back of Reggie’s back with his powerful punch, smashing him into the road.
Before he can begin collecting himself, Mr. Fuck, Psycho Doughboy, and Johnny come in with large knives and stab Reggie in the back, their blades going clean through and straight into the asphalt. He screams in pain.
“Woo! Alright!” Devi and Tenna cheer as they trot over.
“Okay, hurry up with that book,” Zim orders.
“I’m going, I’m going,” Squee says frantically as he draws in his book.
Reggie snarls angrily and a horrible shudder goes up Squee and Pepito’s spines.
“Oh no! Everybody, watch out!” Squee cries.
“We can’t dodge!” Pepito exclaims and steps in front of Squee and Dib. “Quick, everyone! Behind me!”
Everyone rushes to duck behind the antichrist as Reggie unleashes a huge wave of evil force in all directions. It knocks into Pepito, but he catches it and holds it back, digging his boots into the asphalt.
He groans with exertion as he struggles to hold his own. But it’s too powerful; it’s pushing him back!
Zim points his gun at Reggie’s head and fires. The laser penetrates the back of his head and the wave immediately dissipates. Pepito cries out with relief and falls to his knees, his arms limp at his side.
            “It’s done!” Squee announces.
“Then hurry up and trap him!” Zim orders.
“Draw this circle in the middle of the book,” Dib says as he points at another symbol in his textbook. “Everyone else, stand back.”
Everyone steps back as Squee draws the circle. The second he connects the line, the book starts trembling.
“Quick, point it at the spirit!” Dib orders. He and Squee pick up the book and point it at Reggie. His form suddenly falls apart into wisps that start getting sucked into the book.
“NO!” he shrieks, the wisps reforming into his top half sticking out of the book. “I will not be trapped! I will not be stopped! Not without my revenge!”
Johnny starts getting pulled towards the book. He exclaims with surprise as he’s suddenly yanked off his feet.
“Johnny!” Devi and Tenna exclaim and jump for him, but they’re not fast enough.
“If I’m going down, I’m taking you with me!” Reggie cries as Johnny flies towards him. “Johnathan Cessation!”
Johnny snarls angrily. Reggie flinches, pure horror gripping every ounce of his being as he looks in Johnny’s eyes and sees a monster.
Johnny is suddenly dropped onto the road and Reggie disappears entirely into the book. Squee and Dib immediately slam it shut and lock it.
“Ow,” Johnny groans as he sits up, rubbing his head.
“Nny!” Squee exclaims and drops to his knees, hugging him tight. He blinks with surprise before resting his hand on Squee’s head.
“I’m so glad you’re okay,” he cries, “when I realized that poltergeist was going after you, I was so worried!”
“How’d you know it would come after me?” Nny asks.
“He said I smelled like Johnathan Cessation,” Squee replies, “the kid responsible for killing him.”
“Huh,” Devi muses, “so you killed Reggie the Ripper and caused the North Arc High Massacre.”
“I’m really not as surprised as I should be,” Tenna grunts.
            “Me neither.”
Squee lets go of Johnny and smiles with relief. He looks up as the Night Terrors approach him, looking kind of sheepish.
“Er…sorry, Squee,” Reverend Meat mutters, “we uh we didn’t do too well with our first job.”
“If you guys hadn’t shown up, things could’ve gone really bad,” Sickness adds.
“Don’t beat yourselves up. I told you to keep Nny safe, and you did,” Squee smiles, “you guys did good.”
They blink with surprise then grin.
“Aw, making me feel all fuzzy inside,” Eff snickers.
Meanwhile, Zim, Gaz, and Pepito gather around Dib as he holds out the notebook that’s trapped Reggie the Ripper.
“Is he really trapped this time?” Pepito asks.
“This will work as well any prison,” Dib replies, “but at least this way, we can keep a close eye on it.”
“This was a job well done,” Zim declares, “nice work, Battalion.”
Dib, Gaz, and Pepito smirk. They all feel pretty good with themselves. As for Squee, he’s just happy Nny’s okay.
