unparalleled gourmet

#chinese cabbage/napa cabbage pancakes:#about 5-6 leaves of the cabbage (straighten them out by lightly chopping on the curved parts)#about 1 cup flour and 1 cup water or just eyeball the amounts until you get kind of a runny pancake batter with no clumping #add a dash of soy sauce and pepper and spices to taste #coat the cabbage leaves in the batter and fry in a big pan with some oil until crispy #serve with a sauce of spring onions + sesame oil + soy sauce #i also added some (vegan) oyster sauce and roasted sesame seeds

#ignore me #i tried a new recipe and found out i like eggplant! WIN!#this is so necessary bc i have been stuck in the rut of my usual safe foods #now i have something new i can take for lunch YAY #hey sometimes you're 15 and you don't like food or eating much and you think like.#well i just won't make it to adulthood where i have to feed myself will i.#listen kid. beat 3 eggs til frothy. mix 1 cup flour 1 tbsp salt 1 tbsp pepper in a bowl. dice 1 eggplant.#soak eggplant in a mix of 1 tbsp mirin 1/2 tbsp soy sauce grated garlic & salt to taste for 10 min #coat eggplant in flour mix then beaten egg then breadcrumbs #heat 1 inch veg oil in a deep pan to 350 degrees and cook eggplant 1 min either side or til golden brown #eat the second it comes out of the pan. eat it while you cook the rest.
