Before you read this be warned this is about the bear or man thing so sexual violence is implied here and spoken about in the tags
“Bear or man” bear. Even men don’t trust other men. A bear wouldn’t tell his friends the things he wants to do to me. A bear wouldn’t kill me for fun. A bear is more predictable. A bear attack is more likely to be believed. A bear would see me as a human. A bear would only kill and maybe eat me, I don’t know what a man would do.

I am very worried for this trial because I feel like there's no prep 😭 both miles and wynn admitted they don't know what Reiss's case will be against Neil. No one in the coterie has spoken to Neil except for Britta. No one has talked to anyone else in the court about how the trial might go or asked about any comparisons to past trials. There's just so many unknowns and such little prep and I'm scared!!!
Although, I do fully admit, I don't know what took place beyond what made it into the episode, so I'm sure I'm missing a lot of information that would help with context. But I'm still scared!!! I don't want Neil to die or anyone else to lose their shit!!! I like them all and want them to stay alive!!!

As much as nearly every character she meets tends to act like there's something uniquely broken and wrong with Claudia, at no point does it truly seem to me like there actually really is? I mean, obviously she is extremely fucked up, she straight up went through a serial killer collecting trophies phase, but there's a level of fucked up that's sort of the baseline for every character in the show, and obviously being turned into a vampire as a child puts her at a unique disadvantage. But for all that everyone around her spends their time bemoaning how dreadful and doomed her life is, even Louis who genuinely loves her but also builds so much of his identity around feeling responsible for her Terrible Fate™, I really don't think she's like, fundamentally damaged any more than any of the other vampires are.
But Lestat is so unwilling to be wrong that every time her life hits an inevitable road bump instead of helping her through it he points and says "look! see! she IS a monster, I was right Louis, making her was a mistake!" (and I think he sees his own monstrousness in her but fails to also see her humanity)
And then Armand meets her and sees only someone who will inevitably lose her mind, so of course speeding up the "inevitable" and siding with the coven to plan her death is just a mercy, absolving himself of any blame. (and he projects his own frailty and desire for death onto her, failing to see her strength and her desire for life)
Which makes it so cathartic when she meets Madeleine, admits to her how broken she feels sometimes, and Madeleine's response is just. Well that's normal. Who isn't a little broken these days. Let yourself feel it, move on, let yourself feel it again if you need to. After spending her life having others act as if her emotions are something uniquely dark and worrying, Madeleine's incredibly blase attitude must have been such an incredible breath of fresh air for Claudia!
To spend her whole life being made to feel like something is Wrong™ with her, and then meet someone who's just like, "yeah, and?? Who isn't? Join the club I guess"
Which makes her death so incredibly tragic and frustrating because like. She was fine! She was making a life for herself! She wasn't doomed by her nature, she wasn't "doomed by the narrative" (whatever the fuck that even means), she was doomed for no reason other than that everyone around her (except for Madeleine) preemptively DECIDED she was doomed and never gave her a chance to prove them wrong.

I'm gonna be honest I don't know why I made this. Think it was another one of those ideas I have right after getting out of the shower. Regardless...
Might keep this as one of the things he can do with his magic. He literally steals your form and puts it in a box and puts you in a new one. Maybe if you can open the box you can have your body back. But good luck getting that tape off with your fingerless plushie hands! :3

Why didn't anyone in the series ask why the yeerks didn't ask Seerow for morph tech in order to escape their parasitic life?
Two things!
Thing 1: There are not only laws but taboos against sharing andalite tech. Ax loves his friends, but he still struggles with telling them about andalite tech when doing so would save their lives. He's less worried about breaking laws than he is about betraying his entire species, and he's genuinely scared that telling humans about andalite tech will lead to a second Yeerk Empire. Presumably most andalites feel the same, judging by their appalled reactions any time one discovers human morphers.
Thing 2: As of andalite-yeerk contact, morphing technology is new, poorly understood, and widely feared. We know that ~30 years later, Elfangor and Arbron still don't understand morphing and have only morphed once apiece — they're terrified when Alloran tells them to morph, and regard Alloran's willingness to morph as an outlier. So way back when Alloran was an aristh under Seerow, we can assume that morphing tech was even more rare and widely feared.
Personally, I headcanon that the two-hour limit wasn't discovered until years into the R&D process, and that even today "two hours" is an estimate based on past nothlitizations. So andalites discover morphing tech, they try it out... and a bunch of them get trapped forever. And they don't know why. And anyone trapped as a prey animal loses their mind in addition to losing their body. And maybe after much trial and (catastrophic) error, they discover that it's safe to stay another shape for 5 minutes. For 10 minutes. For 15. So on, until they get up to ~120 Earth minutes and people start getting trapped again. If that's the case, if 100s of beta testers are nothlits, then no wonder most andalites only morph when they have no choice. No wonder they're baffled and even awed by the Animorphs' casual comfort with morphing.

I like to think that despite canon's ambiguity on the subject that Phoenix became good friends with Iris after BttT and she sends him handmade scarves and gloves and stuff in the winter. One day Phoenix goes to visit Kristoph in prison while wearing one of those scarves and is like ":( Kris.... we were toxic with benefits for 7 years and you never made me anything. You're in prison this long and you didn't bother learning some arts and crafts??? Cmon you never even knitted me a scarf" and Kristoph makes some snide remark about it but then a few months later Phoenix gets an unlabeled box on the porch of WAA that has this really shittily made scarf in it and Phoenix refuses to let anyone touch it bc he is convinced it's poisoned somehow. And he's right.

“Team Black or Team Green?” What about team smallfolk overthrowing the monarchy that are are carelessly flying around on weapons of mass destruction and committing war crimes because of their entitlement over a damn chair when neither side are giving two shits about the people they are supposed to govern

Like every other creature, Chainsaw Man no longer has a mouth. Presumably, this means he can no longer eat other devils—which was likely intentional so that he can’t be forced to eat anything he doesn’t want to.
However, it also complicates the idea of making CSM throw up a devil he’s eaten to return that concept to the world. To bring a devil back, would you have to cut Chainsaw Man open to reach into his stomach? And if you did, would it even be possible to control which devils come back out?
How many devils does he have inside of him? How many horrors would be unleashed into the world again?
