I think a cool thing therians should start promoting is donating to conservation centers related to their theriotype. I think it would be a really good way to feel a connection to your theirotype, knowing that you contributed to the safety and nurturing of your species.

I have 0 tolerance for therians/alterhumans/etc who buy real animal tails from Amazon. Now don't get me wrong I love real fur tails when they are purchased ETHICALLY!! But the tails sold on Amazon are from unregulated fur farms. You don't know anything about these farms, the treatment of the animals, anything. You call yourself therian/alterhuman but have little to no respect for animals.

And I understand some of these people are kids. They don't know. But I think there needs to be more information being shared amongst these communities about ethical fur products and just basic respect in general.

If you aren't going to take the time to look into where the fur is coming from or ANY info regarding the quality of life for these animals you shouldn't be buying real fur. It frustrates me because other people will validate the person who bought the tail. Telling them it's fine that they disrespected this animal that they themselves claim to be.

If you are going to call yourself that animal you should have basic respect to do research into the items YOU are buying. It's that simple.

Update! I didn’t make this clear originally but I have nothing against fur farms that treat their animals well, use all the parts they can, and kill the animals humanely. I go into detail about this in further replies.
