Stop your scroll!!!!!😁 You guys asked and so every month I’ll do a review of my favorite book of the month right here on the gram. This month, my favorite, hands down this month, was The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue By @veschwab ( This is a spoiler free review by the way) The story of Addie LaRue is the story of a young girl who in 18th century France makes a deal with a dark God on the day of her wedding to a man she doesn’t love. She wants to be FREE and truly live. The dark God (Luc) grants her her wish, but in a way that traps her: she cannot age or die, but everyone she meets forgets her as soon as she is out of their sight. What follows in 300 years of us following along with how she adjusts to this life until she meets Henry, the only one who remembers her. To me, this book was always about Addie’s search for freedom. From her first reckless summoning of Luc in the beginning of the book, to the deal she strikes with him at the end: it's’ about having freedom. This book was beautifully written, and the writer keeps us well invested in Adddie, Henry and even Luc. All in all , I definitely recommend it. It got 5 stars from me on @goodreads. Well, I spoke with Lisa Dunnigan of The Wright Stuff Chicks and she gave us some advice on stuff we can do at home for the kids. Lisa Alexander Dunnigan began her career as a seventh-grade teacher, at Carrollton Junior High School, in Carrollton, GA. She went on to hold positions of increasing responsibility, at Douglas County Schools in Douglas, GA, including School Counselor, Assistant Principal, and Principal. In 2012, due to the multiple instructional gains made by her staff and students during her tenure, Lisa became the Title I Executive Director for the Douglas County School System. She recently retired and will work on The Wright Stuff Chics, Teach Your Heart Out and her family nonprofit, The Pink Santa Hat Movement, Inc. After school activities need not be taught in a school-like environment by professional teachers in a structured and timely manner. There is a lot YOU can do to support your child’s academic, physical and social development. Do not be too concerned about formal programs, as many of our children are already over-scheduled. Obviously, education is a top priority for children. They need to go to school (now online) and finish their homework. They should then do their daily reading or writing work etc. This may take about 30–60 minutes. In the course of his daily work, your child may develop certain academic preferences and interests.
