like genuinely the thing about rosquez to me is that they still have so much fundamental chemistry. like they didn’t fall out because they hate each other or because they didn’t get along. they were friends ! they joked around ! they hung out outside of work and they talked and marc visited the ranch after many invitations and they were glued together at picture day in 2014 like they were FRIENDS ! and they fell out because they were too similar. because marc is the only bitch on earth that vale thinks might be on his level. because he was getting older and had to TRY for the first time and was terrified it wasn’t enough. because marc rides in the terrifying way that he does.

like outside of their sport, there’s no fundamental issue. BUT the problem is that their sport is such a HUGE part of them that it is the most important issue. and vale can’t separate it from himself like marc can. so there are periods where they’re around each other post divorce where they can shake hands and laugh and joke and that old chemistry shines through and marc lets himself think they might be able to reconcile, but vale won’t let them. because he can’t separate it out like marc can. drives me insane.

COVID AU where Art and Tashi are forced to quarantine when the city wide lockdowns prevent them from traveling. They find a motel that would let them rent the room for as long as they need to. Thankfully, Lily is with her grandma and they’re both safe.

I want forced proximity. I want Tashi going stir crazy not having anything to do. I want Art still attempting to keep in shape until one day he’s too lazy to workout or get up out of bed. I want Art and Tashi forced to actually talk about anything other than tennis.

COVID AU where Patrick gets trapped in the lockdown. He knows he can’t stay in his car forever so he goes to the nearest motel and uses his emergency credit card to rent a room.

One day, he decides to use the amenities. He knows the motel has a pool and he’s not surprised to see other guests already there. He knows he should stay 6 feet apart. Except he recognizes that blunt short bob and that mop of blonde curls.

Yeah, Patrick Zweig just casually quarantining with the Donaldsons. It’s definitely gonna turn out fine.

Pharma/Ambulon is a ship I kinda want to get into because it feels like it's a ship that has a lot of drama potential. It's not enemies to lovers but it's like, ETL lite. I guess there's just something in there that you can pick at to find some angst? Like, Pharma hates Decepticons and so he hates Ambulon because he's a Decepticon, but eventually comes to love him later on? Or you could work in something about Pharma's deal with Tarn/the DJD to save Delphi, in which part of the reason he makes the deal is so that he can protect Ambulon (I've seen many fics take this approach even with platonic/not particularly close Pharma and Ambulon).

I don't think I ship it in a "these guys would make a great long-term/stable couple" way, I think I ship it more in a "this has great angst potential/they have really complicated feelings towards each other" way but I don't really have any ideas for how.

at work there were three rats and someone sold only two of them, which you are absolutely not supposed to do, it should have been all three together or just one to join rats already in the home. so the poor third rat is all by himself in there now. there’s another rat in the back who could have gone in with him but when he was delivered he had a little bit of blood on his nose so he’s had to be quarantined for a full week so we can check he’s alright. and now i can’t stop thinking about these two rats being so lonely all on their own in a cage and it makes me so so sad :(
