Today's reminder that the block button is a free resource that can be used on anyone and anything that you don't care to find on your dashboard.
#we speak#and yes as always this includes us. cross-platform even!#followed an artist today for Cool Art and then they put “fuck ao3 and fuck you if you donate to ao3” content on our dash#and like. we do generally enjoy having fanfiction hosted for free on a website run by fic authors for fic authors#and no offence but we do enjoy having a profit-free platform where we can read and write about “edgy” topics if we so please#they need to host those servers somehow and wishes and pixie dust dont power servers#call us spoiled but we do think ao3 dot com can have a few dollars and the “starving children in africa” arguments are still bad#we hope to make it extremely clear on this blog that our stance is “all art has a right to exist even if we dont like it”#and if you dont want to see that or us on your dash then the block button is Right There!#curate your social media experience and just block a guy. thank you for your attention
