Cabin in the woods (yan!Konig x fem!Reader x yan!Horangi)
You and your friend group are definitely not a part of a typical slasher movie. Two weird guys you met at the corner store somewhere in rural Austria definitely not serial killers. You are definitely going to be saved. You are definitely not going to like being their little trophy.
TW: Yandere, Age gap(Reader in her early 20, murder husband in their late 30), Serial Killers, Mild Gore, Extreme dub-con(Bordering cnc), Blood, Horror, Kidnapping
CHAPTER 1 You meet two weird locals at the corner store in a city in the middle of Austrian woods. Your timid nature is going to be your downfall.
Tumblr media
Come to the woods, your assholes-of-a-friend said. Come on, he said, I know that for someone like you, dwelling in some shitty forest for three or more days only to drink mediocre beer and probably have even more mediocre sex while mosquitos are biting at your vagina sounds like your worst nightmare, but! Have you considered it could be fun?
Yeah, you have considered it. Considered it, thought about it and already decided not to engage with the idea. Spending the holiday in your own country, your own city and by your computer was far better than running around some random Austrian forest – and so you decided to kinda…ditch the idea.
Considering what happened in the next few days, you really should have been more true to your words.
Because you agreed to the proposition – because you don’t want to antagonize your friends, because you already feel strained from them, because they are assholes and they continue to be assholes but they are the only ones you have. Maybe you shouldn’t rot in your room, maybe you should agree to spend Spring break with them, getting drunk in the woods and maybe chasing some wild boars across the place.
— Sorry.
Some asshole – not the friend one, just an asshole in general, like everyone else in this fucking country that is so stuck up at being in the woods and mountains, that you are literally going to be sick – took the last remaining bottle of coke that was still left on the shelve. You were not having it because it was almost night already, the last remaining store open in the area, and you needed your sugar fix and something to mix alcohol with so you wouldn’t get drunk and stupid immediately.
You aren’t letting go of the bottle.
The guy doesn’t let go either.
— Sorry, I think I got it first.
You hate how weak your voice is. Never be the active, social one of your friends, you’re stuck being just a dumb girl who has literally everyone walking all over her. You decided to dig your heels into the ground and sent this asshole where he belongs – so, your grip on the bottle intensifies.
— Haven’t seen you.
He tugs the bottle back to him – and he has some arm strength, surprisingly for someone in this town. To be quite honest, you are too intimidated by his deep, annoyed voice to even consider looking at him, so you don’t know what the guy looks like. Maybe it’s an MMA champion – celebrity shop at some weird corner stores in abandoned Austrian cities too.
— I am very sorry, but I really, really need this bottle.
You don’t, actually. There are multiple bottles of Pepsi right here, and not like you have a very specific preference for the drink that is bad for you. You just got tired of people walking all over you, tired of your friends that constantly getting you into their shenanigans without asking for your opinion and you just want something good happening to you at least once. So, you tug the bottle back to you, and press it against your chest, hoping that whoever this man is will get the memo and get the fuck away from you until you’ll get your pepper spray. Ah, right, you forgot to bring one…well, he doesn’t have to know about that.
— What do you need this bottle for?
— Important reasons. Secret reasons.
The man sneered and you finally got a good look at him. And…fuck.
Tall, broad, maybe more on the leaner side, but you can clearly see his tight muscles that form this perfect, thin type of masculinity that makes you think about greet athletes and that weird webtoon you were occasionally reading because you don’t have anything better to do with your life. You lick your lips, nervously, suddenly aware of the fact that you wear some old hoodie, battered jeans, and exactly zero makeup – you were supposed to get chased by the bears in the forest, not a meet-cute annoying strangers.
He is Korean if little doodles on his jacket and an accent are saying the truth. You force yourself to get your gaze away from the mask that was covering more than half of his face, black glasses that obstruct the view even more, and messy black hair – the only thing about his appearance that you can actually see.
Maybe, it’s good that you can’t see his face – you need to get out of here, preferably with a bottle of coke and some other snacks before your friends start questioning why the only person who didn’t want to go is so reluctant about leaving the store. Besides, it’s already almost closing time and you need to gather your thoughts. With a deep sigh, you push the bottle closer to you.
But this time, he didn’t humor you with softness. He kept it close to himself and suddenly, you are very aware of how much weaker you are than him. You could put up a good fight against a mouse, maybe, a squirrel on a good day – but in this tugging match, you were no, pun intended, match for him. You look closely at his cargo jacket – the patches look official, normal, making you think about the military and what the fuck Korean soldier is doing in the small town somewhere in the rural, touristy-foresty-mountainy part of Austria.
— Please, sir, it’s getting silly.
— Yes, it is. Give up now.
He has that weird calmness in his voice – a low grumble that makes you shiver, the urge to just give up your control and present him your neck like a good pet makes you want to vomit. God, it’s humiliating – you just hope that your friends won’t be here to witness your utter humiliation.
— I really, really need this bottle. Please?
You master your best puppy eyes, looking at him with a half-lidded gaze, hoping he has at least a somewhat working and aching heart inside of his lean, muscular chest. The dark glasses of his don’t allow you to see his face clearly, but you can feel how he slowly eyes you from head to toe, slowing down at how much your hands are trembling at the confrontation.
In a normal situation, you would give up already. But this isn’t a normal situation – you wanted to learn how to be brave, independent, and stand up for yourself in small things, even if your friends still going to swirl you around into making dumb decisions.
— I was the first to grab it. Why should I give it to you?
His voice is mesmerizing – you didn’t expect something as deep from a random stranger in the corner shop and here you are, embarrassed, cheeks heated because you want to ditch your friends and look at the random guy you just met. Ah, the tragedy of meeting someone remotely attractive and closer to your age – or at least looking like it – in a mundane place so that the horny thoughts would make room inside your head.
— Because this would cheer me up really nice, sir.
You master even puppier eyes – and you lick your lips some more, hoping to elongate the point of how shitty your day was, and how nice it would be, just to have a bottle of coke to cheer you up. Man lets go of a grumpy noise, shaking his head.
“Fucking tourists” he mutters – and you feel even more embarrassed immediately. If anything, he is probably a tourist too!
— Sir? So the coke-stealer has manners after all.
His laugh is dry, and you want to take the bottle and leave – but when you yank it closer, he doesn’t let go. If anything, he grabs it even firmer, thin plastic deforms under his touch, and the tactical gloves he is wearing are only empathizing with the vast difference between you and him.
— I’m not a coke-stealer. I had dibs on this bottle.
He stares at you, tilting his head to the side. You look stubborn, like an angry little kitten – and, god fucking dammit, Horangi loved cats. Always wanted to get one or two, adorable furballs that would lay on him and Konig, maybe destroy the wildlife around their house. he loved cats and never had time to take care of them because of their combined jobs – so when he looks at this stubborn little woman – little more in her posture than actual size – he feels all the desire to take a kitten home gets straight into his pants.
He has to find Konig. Ah, and get the bottle back.
— Dibs don’t matter if you can’t even hold it. So, the bottle is mine.
— Sir, if anything, this bottle can’t belong to you yet. You haven’t paid for it!
— You too.
— But I will.
— Just as I am.
He chuckles, more amused than anything. You look angry, you look pissed, you munch on your lower lip nervously because you don’t want this man to walk all over you, but you also really want his – it belongs to the state, actually – coke. So, you yank it one last time, already preparing to give up and drink Pepsi as the loser woman you are.
Instead, the bottle goes right into your hand with ease – and you fall on your back, losing the connection between your legs and the ground. You prepare to fall and crack your head on the floor, just like a wet kitten of a person you are.
Instead, you stumble into…something. You want to say that it’s something soft, maybe a snack aisle or the pillows that are being sold in this store for some reason, but this mysterious “something” under your cheek is firm, tense and warm.
Just like in the worst romantic comedies you ever saw, you are crushed into a broad male’s chest. Don’t mess it up with another man’s broad chest, those are actually two very different individuals and the concentration of pecks on the square meter already makes you feel uneasy. You bite your lips nervously, wanting nothing more but to disappear – you finally have the bottle in your hands and you can swiftly retreat to the cashier on the other side of the shop, but the man behind you stops you.
— What’s going on, Tigeren?
Ah, good. The wall of muscles behind you smells of generic male deodorant and something metallic – and has the voice of a Greek god mixed with the most stereotypical Austrian accent ever. Not like you are an expert on accents or voices or tones because you’re not sure that Greek gods would have such high and grumbling voices, but you stand not corrected, drowning in your bad decisions.
You feel the firm hold on your shoulder gently put you away slightly, as the man comes to touch the asshole’s hand. Softly, gently, you want someone to touch you like this. You lift your gaze from the pair and…
Did you miss a Halloween party with the tough rule of wearing a mask all the time, even when you’re going out to grab some more snacks? You lower your gaze from the man who also wears a generic black mask and dark glasses, your eyes slowly go down to his pants and…
Did you miss a horse-riding party?
— Some tourist tried to steal my coke. Nothing, Ko.
— I’m not a tourist.
You mumble, under your breath. You don’t want to be here – the area suddenly becomes intoxicating, you feel out of place and you want to run away as fast as possible but the only thing you can do is to just strive on, hoping that you’d at least keep your beverage with you. You take a step to the side, hoping to retreat quietly, like a ninja – but they both notice and turn to your side immediately.
— This is a dangerous place, lady.
The tall guy – well, they are both tall, but the second one is fucking enormous, towering over the shelves and making you feel insignificant compared to him – grumbles it gently, almost carefully. You are inclined to listen to him, taking up his words like a damned prophecy. You know this place is dangerous – it’s a forest in the mountains of Austria, of course, it is dangerous, you tried to tell your friends this, but…well, to no avail. Useless as usual.
— I’m aware, thank you. Can I…excuse me, I will leave now.
— With my coke.
Korean guy snorts, the clear amusement in his voice. You don’t like the way he emphasizes the point of you stealing it from him – you both are entitled to it, if anything, he is the weird one to think that he has some special dibs for this. The bottle is already warmed up from your combined touches and you groan from the fact – now you will have to choke on the warm cola while all of your friends have fun with their dumb alcohol cocktails and ice cubes and everything you forgot to bring because you were the last one to get here. Because you were the last one they asked to join – feeling like an afterthought, you lick your lips nervously.
— Of course. The one you wrestled out of my hold.
— You let go of it, sir.
— Didn’t want to make a scene with a little thing like you.
You feel the tips of your ears burning. Oh, how you wanted to punch both of them – the tall one and the slightly less tall one, both chuckling like a pair of grannies on the porch. Like this fucking place needed more bears.
— You should be careful around these parts. Weird things going around.
The mountain has spoken again – weird, but all of his phrases feel more like something straight up from a horror movie. Combined with the eerie dim light of the tiny store and his mask, it sent a shiver down your spine. Gosh, you need to watch fewer horror movies and read less terrible dark romance books. You are jumpy, nervous, anxious, everything that doesn’t combine well with a forest trip.
You take a step back and the blue eyes follow you. When did he take off his sunglasses? Why do they both need sunglasses at night?
He looks at you and, fucks sake, you stumble into the aisle again. With a bottle of coke in your hand, which isn’t the best weapon in the world, you stumble to the cashier.
Cold gaze follows you. Oh, how he follows you.
You nervously bring the coke bottle to the old man behind the counter, listening to the tired German speech – you recognize the numbers, memorize the price of a single bottle, and yet…you feel the eyes glue to your back as you desperately rummage through your pockets. You swear to god that you had cash on you this exact morning – but you go through your pockets, through your backpack, and try to search for maybe some old cents and cards.
Nothing.
God, you feel like a failure – embarrassed that you wasted so much time trying to get this bottle only to put it back on the shelf in defeat and…
— On me. Move your ass, tourist.
The Korean guy notches your side and you glare at him with a mix of anger and shame – he pays for the bottle, probably grinning from how well he taught this annoying as fuck tourist a lesson, and also for the few snacks he bought, probably for himself and his…friend? Boyfriend?
You move your ass obediently, going out of the store, and your head hangs low in defeat. Your friends are smoking outside, everyone is visibly annoyed with how long it took you only to go out empty-handed. Jenny, one of your girlfriends, a tall brunette with a perfect fucking body that shouldn’t belong to someone in the real world and not 90-era comedies, looks…worried.
You went to ask her what was wrong, but she shook her head, looking somewhere behind you.
You stare at the ground, watching as your shriveled shadow from the single-store light swiftly being absorbed by someone’s much larger frame. You gulp, not wanting to look behind you, knowing what – or who – you might want.
Tall guy with a…coke bottle? Well, you weren’t expecting that. He gives you the bottle and you can almost see the condescending smile on his face as his fingers linger on your hand for longer than they should be. You take the offer, not really understanding what the fuck is really going on.
— Thank…you?
— No problem, kleine.
You can hear the smile in his voice and your hands are trembling. Jenny looks at you with surprise, clearly not expecting nerdy ol’ you to pull someone so…well, not nerdy and maybe old.
— What the fuck? Who is…
— I’ll explain in the car, alright?
— Did you drop it or something?
— I…I think I lost my wallet. Have you seen it?
She stops for a second, thinking. There are a few things Jenny is good at – burning the tip of her tongue with a lighter, wearing crop tops, eating men alive (unless they are the most annoying ones alive). Lying isn’t one of them – not because she is a good person, but because she would rather flip your shit upside down and make you as upset as she possibly could.
— Chad took it. Said you’d find the nearest bus to get the fuck out of here if you’d have it.
He…
You can’t fucking believe this. All this humiliation because her annoying boyfriend didn’t want you to ruin this little unfriendly gathering. You feel angry tears in the corners of your eyes, almost ready to sniffle like the needy thing you are. God, you’re weak and pathetic and…
The Austrian guy behind you coughs, attracting attention.
— Ladies like you shouldn’t go out this late. Bad things might happen.
Jenny snorted and you already wanted to close your eyes. She was clearly not having it and she had a very short temper – you take a step back, towards her, hoping to set her down. Instead, she took one look at your pleading expressions, and it made her even more annoyed. She was never good with locals.
— We’re getting out of this dump as soon as possible, sir. Didn’t ask for your opinion though.
He chuckles and the sound sends a shiver down your spine.
— Just wanted to warn you. Tourists are disappearing around these parts.
— We’re not some dumb tourists.
— Ach? You aren’t?
Jenny fails to hear the amusement in her voice. You tuck the Coke bottle in your arms, hoping that they would stop.
— We’re not a bunch of dumb tourists and we will call the police if you’d proceed harassing us.
— Just wanted to give your friend what she forgot. Keep an eye on each other, ja?
— We will. Fuck off before I’m calling the 9-1-1, verstehen?
You feel even more embarrassed as she storms off to the truck where Chad and everyone else is staying, not even paying you a glance – too used to your sorry ass going right after her, like a lapdog that your other friend likes to bring everywhere in her tiny pink purse.
You sigh, feeling horrible. The guy is creepy. Tall, looming over everyone, both of them are fucking terrifying – but they paid for the coke and the Austrian one is genuinely trying to tell you something. A bit paranoid, maybe, but you see the cargo jacket he is wearing, so he is probably either a paranoid survivalist or maybe a part of the military. You like having someone worried about your safety, even in more of a scary horror movie-esque form.
— I’m…sorry for Jenny. She isn’t always like this, we’re just tired after a long road.
— You were driving whole day?
— We’re, um…on a trip. You know, a little getaway in the woods. Would have been nice.
The giant tilts his head to the side. You just noticed that his hands are twitching a little, fidgeting with the bottom part of his jacket. You find it almost cute, endearing in a way – at least he is as anxious about talking to you as you are to him. You find yourself also fidgeting on the bottle, swirling it in your hands, never understanding what you should do in a somewhat normal social situation.
— Be careful, kleine Hase. Like I said, it’s a dangerous place for young ladies like you.
The way he said it, calling you a young lady, made him look extremely old – and made you feel even more embarrassed and uncertain about your future. Here you are, wasting your youth on shitty road trips to Austrian woods instead of reading horror books and watching romance movies.
— Thank you, sir. I…I’ll keep that in mind.
— Are you two alone on the trip?
Alright, it was a bit creepy. his cold blue gaze bores in your face, making you feel small.
— No, Our male friends are with us.
He humms, almost sounding amused.
— Good. Wouldn’t want it to be too easy.
— Sorry?
— Wouldn’t want someone bad to hurt you so easily.
You smile. He is nice, even if a bit creepy – you nod slightly, taking a step towards the truck, since everyone else already got in and you still have a long road to the place of your camp.
— Thank you for the bottle, sir.
— You are welcome. Keep yourself safe, ja?
You nod.
Keeping yourself safe sure does sound nice. You can do it, right? (You can’t,  but you don’t know that yet)

Outlaw!Ghost x Outlaw!Soap x Female Reade
This was inspired by the above art
All bruised and broken up, Soap and Ghost are on the run from the sheriff and his posse. They finally come across a run down shack to rest in. Only to find a pretty little lady sleeping there already.
Warnings: MDNI, slight perving, looking non-consensually, light injuries, a small bit of blood, needle and thread stiching, small bit of fluff, period typical misogyny, maybe some future kidnapping? sorry if I missed any.

Night had fallen, a blanket of darkness was cloaking their vision. The only solace they had was the full moon guiding their horses. They needed to stop to find shelter and possibly something to eat. Ghost didn't think Johnny could hold out much longer. He was hurt far more severely than him. Dirt roads are dangerous in the dead of night. They needed to find shelter soon.
They were above snakes for now. But no one knew how long that would last.
They come across a beaten down house? It looked more like a shack, small and decrepit. It was on the outskirts of the town they were entering. They needed to lay low just in case the sheriff chasing them had associates here.
They wrap their arms around each other once they get off their horses and tie them to some trees in this sparse forest. It was enough cover to hide them from prying eyes. In case anyone came snooping here.
They walk towards the shack with some difficulty. There's an outhouse and a small patch of ploughed soil where some sad looking veggies are planted. And an old outdoor campfire with an cast iron pot situated on it. It wasn't lit of course. It's a sorry state but it'll have to do for now. They just needed a place to rest and patch up their wounds before moving on. It looks abandoned with the way the roof has holes in it. And the wood looks like it's about to break if you leant on it too long.
But unfortunately for them it wasn't abandoned. They find a little lady all alone laying in bed. This run down shack (it doesn't even deserve to be called a house) was no place for a delicate woman like you. You don't even stir when they walked in, probably in a deep sleep. They should have left and found somewhere else to rest but going out now would prove difficult especially with their injuries. They didn't want to disturb you, they just needed a place to rest for a bit.
You look ethereal as you lay in your white nightgown. The moonlight filtering through the holes in your roof gave your complexion a heavenly glow. They try not to stare too long. It was rude enough they were in your home without permission. Sure they were outlaws but they had morals and reasoning behind what they did. That's why they planned to leave before you arose from your slumber.
You still don't stir as the boys make themselves comfortable in your sparsely furnished home. There's a single chair and table in the corner where Ghost settles Soap as quietly as possible. He immediately goes to look for some water to wash his wound with. Thank God neither of them were shot.
There's a couple of large pots in the corner. It's probably where you store your water. It didn't seem like there was a well near your house. You probably carried it from the river. It was probably a 5 minute horse ride away. A girl like you shouldn't be expected to do such menial labour. Where was your husband? Or your male guardians?
As Ghost takes the lid of the pot it slips and clatters to the ground. The loud noise vibrating through the small shack. You startle awake sitting up in your small straw filled bed that was falling apart. You clutched your thin blanket to your chest as you stared at the two shadows in your home. They both had bandanas on so you were rightly frightened. Probably too shocked to speak.
It was like you three were in a stalemate. Waiting for someone to make the first move. They stand in awkward silence until Soap decides to make the first move to soothe you, which ends up startling you. Despite your fear he continues to move towards the candle on the table causing you to flinch and bring your legs up to your chest as a form of protection. Ghost doesn't move or say anything, afraid he'll startle you more. Soap manages to light the candle with his lighter. The fire bringing a warm glow to the surroundings.
“It's alright lass..”, Soap puts his hands up in surrender showing you he's not a threat. “We're nae here tae hurt ye, just two blokes who are lost and in need of some rest”, you stare at them with dilated pupils still extremely afraid. You shrink back as far as you can go, your body shaking.
“W-what do y-you want f-from me?”, you shiver and shake trying to prevent your tears from falling.
“Just some water and bandages if you can spare them”, it's Ghost who speaks up this time moving towards Soap where you'll get to see him better. You don't know why they thought that would help because it just sent your frightened mind reeling when you saw that these two men were built like a brick house and tall as an oak tree.
They watch you shakily point to your worn down cabinet dresser. “There s-spare rags on t-the second shelf and the water is in those pots in the corner.” You don't say anything else as you shake in the corner watching them.
“Much obliged”, Ghost grunts out. His own injuries getting the best of him.
Ghost moves to the cabinet with some difficulty. He retrieves the rags and grabs the cup beside the pots to gather some water to boil outside. He leaves grabbing Soaps lighter on his way out. Soap continues to try to sooth you with words but eventually gives up seeing that he was just scaring you. You two just sit in silence as he settles back onto the chair with a groan. When he goes to take off his bloody shirt you flinch and panic again but he tells you it's just to treat his wounds nothing else. You eventually settled, sneaking some glances here and there of his toned body. He finds your embarrassed expression funny. Had a pretty little lady like you never seen a man naked before?
But you refuse to say anything else, deciding to sit on bed staying on high alert.
It was bad enough you only noticed they were in the house when Simon made noise and usually he's silent. So they could have entered and left without you ever noticing. You had absolutely no protection here. A pretty thing like you could easily be kidnapped. You needed to be more careful with your safety, Soap thought to himself. At least get a latch for your door. But considering the little items you had. You were probably already struggling to make ends meet. You poor thing. No man to take care of you. All by yourself at the edge of town. Where you couldn't even go to a neighbour for help.
Simon comes back in with the sterilised water and cleaned rags. Soap felt bad that he was making him do all the work but he genuinely couldn't move. The pain in his rips was getting much much worse he hoped he hadn't fractured it. Ghost crouches down in front of Johnny wiping away his blood and making sure everything was clean. He ended up wrapping his ribs with his shirt because the rags weren't long enough. Johnny heaved from the pain but he was grateful nonetheless.
When it was Simon's turn he tried sitting on the table testing his weight to see if it could hold. Surprisingly it didn't break. Johnny tries to help him but couldn't lift his right arm very high due to his ribs. So he could only watch his lover patch himself through his pain. Simon was sweating profusely as he tried for the third time to wrap a cut on his dominant arm, to no avail. It was a deep one too. It needed to be stitched up.
What the two men hadn't noticed was that you had been watching them intensely. Seeing how gentle and kind they were being with one another brought a smile to your face. You watched intently as they took care of their wounds. They didn't notice your expressions soften as pity took over your features as you watched them struggle.
“D-do you n-need help?”, your soft voice rang out. It surprised the two men that you even bothered to speak with them let alone offer more help.
“If ye don't mind…he's struggling tae wrap his arm”, Johnny answers for Ghost because he knew he'd refused. They watch you gingerly get out of bed. Your blanket falling on the straw mattress. They got an eyeful of your thin gown. Very thin for that matter. They averted their gazes. They weren't perverts, they swear they weren't. You must be cold in such thin clothing…yeah they were just looking because they were concerned…mostly…mostly concerned…
They watch you walk over with a needle and thread in your hand. The first thing you do is put the needle to the flame making sure to wipe it clean of soot before threading it. You look at Ghost for permission to approach, still clearly scared of him. He gives you a simple nod making sure not to look at you inappropriately and turning Soap's head away as well when he caught him eyeing your chest. You were quick and efficient in stitching his shoulder before carefully wiping it clean and wrapping it up. He was grateful you had allowed them to stay. Though it was probably out of fear. You offered them water to drink and some hard biscuits you had stored in a tin. They went down with some difficulty but the water helped. At least they had something to eat.
You were still careful not to get too close to them though. Which was understandable. They promised to leave the next morning. You gave them your straw mattress to lay down on for the night even after they refused. You countered they needed it more since they were injured. A true angel you were. They hadn't met someone as kind as you in a long time. Despite being afraid you offered them hospitality. Though that would be a very stupid thing to do if it was anyone else. They really ought to teach you some common sense. How did you manage to survive on your own this long?
They watch you place the mattress on the floor as you retreat back to the safety on your bed frame to wrap the blanket around yourself. Soap didn't know why that disappointed him so much. He swears he's not a pervert…you were just very pretty…they wouldn't dare do anything to you though! Not unless you wanted it. But they needed to be gone by morning if they wanted to escape the sheriff. So it seemed you weren't in their cards of fate unfortunately. They'd think about that another time. For now Soap and Ghost held each other on the floor resting on their good sides trying to get some rest in before they had to bid their pretty angel goodbye.

─── ★ : there’s something about teasing modern!aemond in a hot summer day while he works at the local bookstore that you like a little too much.
Tumblr media
it’s the middle of summer, which means days are longer and hotter than usual, and you can’t stand the heat. not anymore. however, you’ve recently found a way to use it to you advantage. something silly but very rewarding. that’s the reason as to why you woke up early to finish your chores quickly, leaving the rest of your day free to go to your favorite place in town. at least until the summer ends.
the bells on the front door announce your presence to aemond, who’s leaning behind the counter with a book in his hands, glasses almost on the tip of his nose. you don’t notice—too focused on how pretty he looks—but he grows incredibly flustered at the sight of you wearing nothing more than your shorts and the upper part of your bikini.
“slow morning?” you say, walking to the counter and leaning on it. you look too pretty, too desirable.
aemond clears his throat, leaving the book aside. “where are you going?” he tries to play it cool and not show you how hard he is under his pants by the view of your breasts being perfectly squeezed between your crossed arms on the counter.
“the beach,” you answer quickly, tongue darting out to wet your lips as you see the book he has just left beside him. “what were you reading?” you raise your eyebrows, walking behind the counter and reaching for the object, your silk skin brushing against his for a split second.
“uhm… nothing important, really. i lost interest after the second paragraph.”
you chuckle, looking up at him. “you have one for me? i don’t want to fall asleep on the beach like last time.”
“oh yes,” aemond smiles and walks away, searching one book for you. once he’s sure you’re not looking, he finally breathes.
aemond hides behind one of the bookshelves in the back to try and compose himself, but as soon as he closes his eyes you are there, this time completely bare in front of him. aemond groans, cock twitching in his pants, and he can’t help it—he really can’t—so he, ever so slowly, lowers his hand to palm himself, trying to find some relief for the aching between his legs.
“aemond?” you look around but he’s nowhere to be seen and you immediately feel self conscious. going to see him without a shirt was too much? he really didn’t reacted, didn’t tell you anything.
“yeah?” his voice comes from behind one bookshelf in the far corner of the store. “i’m… looking for a book,” he sounds breathless and it makes you frown as you slowly walk towards him.
“you need help? because i can be very helpful.” you’re pretty sure you hear him whimper, immediately stopping in your tracks. is he… no. he can’t be. the mere thought of him touching himself while you’re there makes a heat run through your body. “i’d be happy to help you with anything.” you emphasize, your own hand running down your front, over your breasts and erected nipples.
“you can’t—” he cuts himself off, biting his lower lip as his hand moves faster under his pants, feeling his whole body tensing. “fuck,” it’s pathetic how he has to bite his hand when he spills on his hand. it’s pathetic how ast he reaches his climax with you just a few feet away from him. he’s so fucking pathetic.
you don’t hear anything for at least two minutes and you are ready to call for him again, ready to finally stop the teasing and tell him all about your fantasies and dreams where he’s the main character, when aemond finally comes out from behind the bookshelf, face scarlet, hair messy and glasses foggy. the view makes you close your legs, panties getting wetter and wetter.
“i found it.” he says and you have to bite your lips from smiling. he looks fucked out and it’s something you’re definitely going to be dreaming about.
aemond gives you the book without making eye contact, which you find cute. and it also gives you the little boost you needed to keep doing what you started doing the first day you entered the bookshop and found him standing behind the counter talking about books with some clients.
“thank you,” you say, giving him your biggest smile. but he doesn’t see it because he’s too focused looking at his hands. “oh and aemond,” walking to the door, you wait until you finally see his blue irises. “your fly is open.”

Cult leader Joel Miller x f!reader
Warnings: Dead Dove! Horror! 18+ only! Ritualistic cannibalism, angst, death, blood, cameo from Ezra, made up religion, betrayal, infidelity, p in v, non/dub con (heavier on the non but added dub just to cover my bases), oral (f receiving), squirting, pregnancy/breeding (they literally just had sex so no actual fetus, Joel is just delulu) reader can be picked up, and oh yea Joel is out of his damn mind, pretty sure that’s it. Not beta’d, lightly edited, all mistakes are my own! Moodboard made by me(:
Joel was a young man when he married the love of his life. High school sweethearts. They were only twenty one when Laura got pregnant. Joel immediately got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. The two had a cozy little house on a few acres, about an hour outside of town. When Laura went into labor, Joel about fainted. He was terrified of becoming a dad, he wanted his girl to have better than he ever did. Unfortunately right after Laura pushed little Sarah out into the world, things took a turn for the worst. She lost a lot of blood and kept losing blood. The doctors took Sarah and pushed Joel out of the room trying to save her. He’ll never forget how cold that hospital waiting room was when the drs finally came out and told him Laura had passed. The loss of his wife took a toll on Joel. Not only did he lose his best friend and wife, he had to raise a newborn on his own. Thankfully he had his brother, Tommy, who helped out a ton with Sarah. But life was not kind to Joel Miller. Twelve years. He got twelve years with his Sarah before the day his sweet girl got struck by a drunk driver and killed. He became a shell of a man, void of all emotion and life. That was until he met a very charming man one day.
Ezra was a gypsy of sorts. Never staying in one place, always on the move. And spreading this gospel about this amazing creator and all the good things he does and can do for you if you please him. Joel met him when Ezra was walking past his house. He happened to be outside when Ezra spotted him. Joel didn’t even notice him until he was already standing next to him as Joel looked out over his big yard, depressed because there should be kids out there playing. Sarah should be out there, running around, while him and Laura cook dinner on the grill. When Joel did notice the stranger standing next to him, he tried telling him he didn’t want whatever he was trying to sell. Joels efforts to shake the man went unnoticed as Ezra rambled on and on. Not too long into the conversation, Ezra told Joel about The Children of Ares. Not like any religion Joel’s ever heard of, he was intrigued. Ezra promised eternal life, salvation. A guarantee Joel will be reunited with Sarah and Laura. There was a small group in town who also followed the same practice. Not long after meeting Ezra, Joel went to a meeting in town and soon found himself deeply immersed in this religion.
Fast forward ten years, Joel is now a high priest in The Children of Ares. It’s grown a lot since he’s joined. And even more so since he’s taken this position of power.

Strolling down the main street on a Friday night, you, your boyfriend and your three friends are all laughing and joking enjoying the brisk fall night. Halloween decorations line the store shop windows, there’s orange and black fairy lights strung up along the sidewalk, going from post to post. On the corner in front of you is the towns crack head spewing his usual nonsense about “the masked freaks who eat people out in the woods”. You’ve never paid him any mind but for some reason his words have you on edge.
“Hey Steve why don’t you go hit the crack pipe again and shut the fuck up!” Your boyfriend, Liam, yells to the man.
Steve narrows his beady eyes at your group, “You’ll regret that boy. The big man is coming. He’s gonna get you and there wont be a lick of you remaining.”
The unease of his words pours over your body and you don’t notice the man standing there, waiting to cross the street when you bump into him.
“Oh oh I’m sorry! I didn’t see you there! Are you okay?” You quickly say as you bounce off of the man you bumped into. Not only is he tall, he’s practically a human wall. The man turns and looks at you, at first with a scowl on his face. But once he gets an eye full of who bumped into him, he quickly replaces the scowl with a smile.
“Oh it’s no problem honey, shit happens,” he says with a chuckle, “I bump into things all the time. Joel. Joel Miller” He says to you with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye as he reaches out his hand for you to shake.
Smiling, you shake his hand and tell him your name. You can’t help but notice how handsome he is. The salt and pepper hair, scruffy facial hair, that smile and those eyes! Not to mention his body! For an older man, he is jacked. You can just tell through his jacket he’s got thick biceps and these meaty thighs. You envision a soft tummy under those clothes. You can’t help but get lost in thought as you stare at the older man.
Joel notices you just staring and let’s out a little chuckle, “Well hey I’m apart of this little group. We’re having a bonfire tonight if you and your friends wanna swing by. There’ll be drinks, food, the works. Here have my card, I can text you the address if you want.”
“Oh yea for sure! That sounds fun!” You say over enthusiastically as you take the card from him and pull your phone out of your jacket pocket to type his number in and send a text. Right after you hit send, his phone dings
“That’s me! Just text the address and we’ll be there!” You give him a big smile as he smiles back at you before nodding his head and giving you a little wave.
Your friends were a little ahead of you, waiting for you to catch up.
“Ooohh someone’s gotta crush!” Your friend Aaliyah said in a singsong voice. The twins, Salem and Violet, standing next to her giggling, covering their laughs behind their hands.
“Oh shut up I bumped into him and he invited us to a bonfire. Besides I already have my handsome, wonderful boyfriend right here.” You say as you look at Liam, sliding your arm around him, looking up at him with hearts in your eyes. Liam snuggles up to your side but keeps his eyes trained on Aaliyah with a shit eating grin on his face.
Scrunching your face up in confusion you look where he’s looking and the unease gets worse. You stand there watching the two have this little flirty stare off.
“Come on guys let’s go check this thing out. It’ll be fun.” You say to break up the tension you now feel between your boyfriend and friend.
💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️
You, Liam, Aaliyah, and the twins all piled into Liam’s truck as you made your way to the bonfire. Joel lives out in the middle of nowhere. After driving for awhile with nothing but corn fields and woods as far as the eye can see, you notice a bright orange flame off in the distance. That must be the bonfire.
Soon you pulled up and turned onto crunchy gravel driveway after traveling on a dirt road for a good portion of the trip. Joel has a nice one story house with a huge yard. The bonfire is behind the house, off a good distance, closer to the tree line but not close enough to accidentally set the woods on fire. There are several cars in the driveway, Liam parked his truck in the grass beside the driveway. As you and your friends got out of the truck, you stood there looking up at the night sky. You could see all the stars and the moon. It was very peaceful, a nice reprieve from the horrible gut feeling you’ve had.
“Hey! You guys just get here?” Some guy yells at you as he walks towards you from the bonfire.
“Yea! We were invited by Joel!” You yelled back
“Well come on back new friends of Joel’s.” He says back with a smile.
You smile back as you walk around the truck to join your boyfriend and go to grab his hand. Except he pulls his hand away without looking at you and follows the guy to the bonfire. Your group walks in silence, music fills the air. You end up in the back of the group, following in silence, feeling left out like everyone is in on this inside joke and they’re all laughing at you but you don’t know why.
Just as your passing the deck attached to the back of the house, you feel a hand grab your arm making you jump, forcing you from your thoughts.
“Hey darlin. It’s good to see ya came.” Joel says in a low baritone voice. Seeing the older man’s face and hearing his voice is already lifting your spirits. And awakening something else within you, between your thighs.
“I’m glad I came too. It’s good to see you again.” You get out breathlessly with a giggle. You literally sound like a love stricken school girl. You have got to get a grip on yourself.
“If ya want something to drink or anything, my door is open darlin. Help yourself to whatever alright?”
Nodding your head yes, a comfortable silence between you two as you share a smile before heading towards the fire.
💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️
Sitting around the bonfire, you laughed and joked with all the others that are there. Joel almost hardly ever left your side, even going as far as putting his arm around you. In a friendly way of course, but your pussy didn’t see it that way. Whenever his big, meaty hands touched you, your body would heat up almost as if he lit a fire on whatever part of your body he touched. Your friends keeping more to themselves, acting stuck up almost. It makes you feel bad you dragged them out there. You didn’t want them to ruin your newly made friends’ night. At one point you looked over and saw Liam and Aaliyah sneak off toward the trees. That bad gut feeling rearing it’s ugly head, as strong as ever. Joel had gone somewhere, so you got up from your seat and followed them as unsuspiciously as you could. Just before you reached the tree line you could see your boyfriend and friend standing there, kissing. Nausea hit you like a truck, the world around you spinning. Your heart dropped out of your ass. You couldn’t believe what your seeing. How could they? But also this is making everything make sense. No wonder Aaliyah always seemed jealous of your relationship. No wonder Liam’s been acting more distant lately. Tears slipped out of your eyes as you turn around and walk all the way back to Joel’s house.
Walking in through his back door, your head hanging down you don’t notice the scowling old man standing on the other side of the sliding door until your shoulder bumps into him.
“Oh! Oh Joel I-I’m so sorry, I-I didn’t m-me. . “
“Darlin don’t you say sorry again. You ain’t do nothing wrong,” he says as his hand reaches out to cup your face, “I saw what happened honey. If anyone’s sorry it’s those two. You don’t deserve that. Not one bit.” His thumb slowly caressing your check as he swipes away a stray tear. You reach up and grab onto his wrist of the hand holding your face. Joel moves closer to you as you look deep into his eyes. Slowly you inch closer to his face, looking at him with heavy lidded eyes before bridging the gap and bringing your lips to his. His lips press back against yours, feeling plush and warm. Lighting up every nerve in your body. You feel him breathe in deep through his nose as he begins to kiss you back harder. You break the kiss just to press your lips back against his, repeating the action several times. The two of you just kissing each other before you pull back and stare up at him with wide eyes,
“J-Joel I- I don’t know what came over me. I’m so sorry, you don’t want me I-“
“What did I tell you, darlin? Stop saying sorry. And don’t you dare say I don’t want you. I’ve been dying to have a taste of those pretty lips since we first ran into each other.” Joel’s hand that’s still cupping your face slides down to your chin as he grips your face between his thumb and fore finger and brings your face back to his. His lips bruise yours as he kisses you deeply, parting your lips with his tongue as he begins to slowly lick into your mouth. You gladly open up and let him in, softly moaning into the kiss, and you enter your tongue into his mouth. Your tongues twirling around each other before you suck his tongue, causing him to growl. His other hand grabs the back of your head, smashing your face even more into his. His aquiline nose smashed into the side of your nose as you continued to passionately kiss Joel. Your hands wrapped around his thick torso, holding him tightly to you, your hands gripping his flannel. Joel bends at the knee as his hands grip the backs of your thighs and hoists you up. You quickly wrap your legs around his waist as he carries you further into his home. You bury your face in his neck and start to lightly suck on his neck causing him to let out this deep growl as his grip tightens. Soon he’s tossing you like a rag doll and your back hits a soft bed. Wasting no time Joel leans over you and begins to take your pants off. You lift your hips to help him and begin to pull your shirt off, tossing it to the side. Now only clad in your bra and panties, Joel just stares at you with dark eyes as he looks you up and down. Devouring every curve of you with his eyes alone.
“Tell me you want this darlin. I gotta hear those words. I gotta hear you say you want this before we go any further.” Joel says as he goes to grab your chin and pull you towards him.
“I want this. I want you Joel. Please.” You beg. Eyes blown wide open as you drink in the sight of this beautiful man in front of you.
Joel wastes no more time and begins to pull his shirt up over his head before unbuckling his pants and quickly getting rid of them. He crawls up the bed, hovering over you before lowering himself. His plush lips meet yours as he kisses you deeply. Your hands raise up to cup his face as he wraps an arm around your shoulders as his other arm reaches down and pulls your leg up on his hip. The two of slowly grinding your bodies into each other, tongues conversing with one another. The heat from his body lighting your body up like the Fourth of July. The hand on your leg moves in between your bodies as Joel finds your sweet wet haven and rubs your slit up and down causing your slick to leave an even bigger damp spot on your panties. Every touch, kiss, grind has you so wound tight. He pushes your panties aside and dips a finger in, gathering your wetness before trailing up to your clit, going in soft circles.
His light touch has you gasping into his mouth. Joel just smiles as he kisses you one more time before moving down to your neck. Wet, open mouthed kisses leaving a trail down your neck, to your collarbone, in between your breasts. He makes his way slowly kissing down your stomach, Joel looks up and sees you staring back at him. Those gorgeous brown eyes staring back at you, you swear he can see your soul. His hands tug on your panties and begin to peel them off of you. Once removed, Joel’s big hands land on your inner thighs as he spreads you even wider as he admires your body.
“So fucking pretty baby. This for me?” He asked as he dips a thick finger in your entrance. Moaning and shaking your head yes, just barely hanging on.
Chuckling, “This sweet little slice of heaven belongs to me now honey,” he says before dipping his head down and giving your clit a couple kitten licks. His hand travels up your body and cups your breast, squeezing, before he pinch’s your nipple, rolling it between his fingers.
“It’s yours Joel. I’m yours oh god I’m yours” your head thrown back as you babble incoherently. Joel smiles into your pussy before his tongue is back, licking wide stripes up your cunt before finding your clit and giving her a few sweet kisses before he closes his lips around the button and sucks. His hand still on your breast rotating between squeezing and rolling your nipple while his other hand has snaked its way to your cunt. Two thick fingers curled up in you have you gasping for air. His mouth and hands alone have already brought you close to the brink of tears. Never feeling ecstasy as good as this before. His fingers find rhythm curling up, hitting that sweet spongy spot inside of you. His sweet mouth never letting up on its assault on your clit.
“R-rrright there!! Oh god right there don’t stop oh fuck please don’t stop j-Joel oh Joel!!!” You start to scream his name as he brings you to the ultimate euphoria. Your cunt spasming as you squirt all over his beautiful face. You grab onto his curls and try to move his head as he continues to lick and suck on you. Barely able to even catch your breath, your cunt starting to hurt from the overstimulation from his mouth. Unable to move his head, you just grip his curls and hang on for dear life already on the brink of a second orgasm. His tongue and fingers are relentless never once letting up. Before you can even register what’s happening, your coming again. Squirt just dribbling out this time rather than shooting out at Joel. Your whole body shaking, boneless as he looks up at you. His face wet as he gives you this shit eating smile,
“That’s it baby give me every drop of your sweet essence.” He says as he admires your sore cunt before running his tongue through your folds one more time.
Joel sits back on his haunches as he grabs your hips and flips you over on your stomach, pulling your butt up slightly as he notched himself at your entrance.
“I think your sweet little pussy is ready for me now darlin. Whatcha think baby? Think she can handle me?” He says with a dark chuckle as he starts to feed you his cock inch by inch. You feel yourself stretch to accommodate his girthy length. Every little bit of his cock sliding along your walls has you quivering. The pace he’s going feels like forever before he hits home and buried his entire length inside you. His cock punches all the air from your lungs, all you can do is fist the sheets beneath you as your mouth drops opens in a quiet scream.
“Fuck she’s squeezing me so tight already honey. Poor baby hasn’t been fucked right, has she? Awe I don’t think she has. Needs daddy’s big cock to stretch her out how she likes huh? Yea she does.” You can hear the smirk in his voice. Your face smashed into the bed, all you can do is nod your head. His filthy mouth has you ready to beg for more. Ready to beg him to fuck you hard. Too see you so pliant and ready to take whatever he gives you has Joel’s eyes rolling back as he pulls out until the tip is left before pushing back in with a quick thrust. He finds his pace with ease, giving you hard, unrelenting thrusts that push you up on the bed as you try your hardest to push back, wanting to fuck yourself back on his cock. But all you can do is lay there and take him. Joel leans down, his chest covering your back as he bites down on your shoulder. You moan loudly as your head lifts off the bed, tilting back. His hands find yours, his fingers interlocking with yours as you continue to grip the sheets. His pace slowed ever so slightly so you feel every thrust, every vein, every inch go in and back out. You swear you might black out from how delicious his cock feels deep inside you. Feeling fuller than you ever have,
“Jj- joooeeeeelllll nngh I-I’m gonna - oh. I-I’m gonna cum daddy fuuuckk oh please don’t stop!” You manage to get out as you move your head to the side, managing a whisper in his ear. Joel moves his face from your shoulder to your face and does his best to kiss you. It’s rather sloppy as you both go to lick into each others mouth, only to barely make it in, getting the sides of each others mouths more.
“Oh good baby good. Give daddy what he wants. Let me feel this sweet fuckin cunt cum all over me. That’s it, that’s fucking it sweet girl oh fuck I can feel her baby I can feel her coming nngh oh.” He moans into your ear as you hit your third orgasm of the night. Your whole body seizes up and you begin to come, your cunt milking his cock for all its worth. Judging by the grunts coming from Joel he’s close too. His thrusts become sloppy before you feel him thrust all the way in and begin pulsing. His thick load coating your walls, you swear you feel him in your womb. He stays inside you for awhile after, resting his head on your back as you both catch your breath and come down from your highs.
He pulls out and moves to lay next to you, helping you to roll on your side. He wraps you up in his blanket before holding you tight to his chest. You bury your face in his chest, taking a deep breath in. His woodsy, musk scent filling your nostrils. Your so spent, sleep finds it’s way to you with ease. The both of you holding onto each other, you eyes finally shut as you drift off to sleep.
💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️💀♥️
You roll over, trying to find warmth as you start to open your eyes. All too soon it hits you, you slept with the older man you had just met. Joel. You’re still in his bed but he’s gone. Your friends!! The bonfire! You sit up quickly before the memories of what you saw flood back into your consciousness. Fuck Liam and Aaliyah. How dare they betray you like that? You climb out of Joel’s bed and grab a red flannel off the ground and pull it on. The shirt covering what you need it to cover as you button it up a little bit, leaving the top four buttons undone. You decide to go out and find Joel, bring him back to bed. As you walk into the kitchen, you look out the window above the sink and make out the bonfire is still going strong. The clock on the wall reads 3am on the dot. Curious you open the sliding patio door and step outside, wrapping your arms around yourself for warmth. You keep on walking towards the bonfire. As you get closer, it seems like everyone’s gone. Suddenly you notice a robe swishing behind a tree, you decide to follow. Walking into the woods, it doesn’t take long before you find everyone. The sight makes you stop in your tracks. Everyone’s backs are to you, all dressed in white robes with these masks covering the top half of their faces. The bonfire still close enough to give you enough light to notice red. The sleeves and bottoms of the white robes are covered in red and they’re all eating? What looks like red, raw meat in their hands, feasting as if they were animals. You move to go back to the house when your foot hits something and you look down and notice a severed arm. You gasp loudly, putting your hand over your mouth. Jumping back in fright, you hit a solid wall. Turning around, you find Joel.
“What are you doing out here darlin? You aren’t meant to see this. Not right now. Not good for the baby.”
Terrified and absolutely confused by what he meant by that you start to back up.
“I-I Joel please. I-I’m sorry I didn’t know I-“ swinging your head around, everyone has now stopped and are looking your way. An endless sea of blank white masks staring at you. You can see the pile of bodies they were circled around. You make out Liam’s head laying next to a pile of intestines. Human flesh hanging in their hands as they’ve all come to a stop. Your eyes wide in horror as you realize those were your friends. Their bodies laying on the cold hard ground, filleted wide open. Severed body parts scattered about. They were eating them. Actually eating their lifeless bodies.
You turn back to Joel before you trip and fall on your ass. You start to slowly crawl backwards, away from him.
Slowly getting down on his knees before getting into a crawl position, “Now don’t do something stupid honey. It’s okay. I built this community for us. For you. I’ve been waiting for the day my queen came home to me. This is our kingdom to rule.” He says in a low, gravelly voice as he begins to crawl towards you. A terrifying predator coming for his prey. You do your best to crawl backwards while still facing him but he reaches out and grabs your ankle, pulling you toward him.
Thrashing your leg, trying to get out of his hold, your heart beating wildly in your chest.
“Joel please! Let me go! I won’t tell anyone just let me go!” You try to beg, hoping he’ll take mercy on you as you grab onto the leg he has a hold off and try your hardest to yank back out of his grasp.
Joel just smirks at you as he climbs on top of you. His hands grab both of yours and holds them together, pinned to the ground.
“Don’t you see? I did all of this for you baby. I gave you a beautiful home, a community of people who love you. Why can’t you see that? Those others only hurt you, betrayed you. I love you darlin. Always have. I need ya to calm down now honey this is for your own good.” He tells you as you continue to struggle to get out of his grip. He manages to grip both of your hands in one of his as he brings his hand to his mouth. He bites into the fatty part of his hand, drawling blood. He shoves the bleeding hand into your open mouth. The metallic taste hitting your tongue, making you gag.
“Stop it! Stop moving dammit! This is for your own good! You need me! You need my life essence baby! The baby needs it! Take it!” He shouts at you as he continues to shove his hand into your mouth. Unable to get out of his grip or close your mouth, you finally give in and stop moving, letting his blood flood your mouth. Tears stream down your face as you realize you aren’t getting away from this. From him. He’s convinced you’re with child even though it’s only been hours since you’ve had sex. It’s literally impossible for that. Yet he sure thinks so. And on top of that, he’s convinced you belong to him and you need his blood and then there’s the fucking human eating monsters behind you. You aren’t getting out of this alive. Playing along is the only option you have.
“That’s it baby there’s my good girl. I love you darlin. Don’t you love me?” He asks as he removes his hand.
“I love you Joel. I’m so sorry.” You whimper out, only audible enough for him to hear. Joel leans down and captures your bloody lips with his. Kissing you deeply, shoving his tongue inside your mouth. You kiss back, not really having any other choice but to kiss him back.
Joel’s free hand moves down to your cunt, dipping a bloody finger in between your folds, giving you a couple quick rubs on your clit before removing his hand to pull himself out of his pants. His leg nudges your leg to open more as he swipes his cock through your used pussy. After a few swipes, Joel starts to push into you. You’re just wet enough for it to not hurt too bad but it feels so much more intense than last time. The stretch really burns as he continues to push into you. Pinned down on the ground, all you can do is take him. Having been completely occupied by Joel, you had temporarily forgotten about your audience. That’s when you notice a low hum of voices surrounding you. You break the kiss and look to the side and see masked people surrounding you two chanting something in a language you’ve never heard before. Next thing you know, they all get down on their knees, arms extended in front of them, bowing towards you and Joel.
“Eyes on me darlin. It’s okay, you’ll know soon enough what’s happening. It’s a good thing baby. Ffuck oh honey I love you so much. My sweet girl. M-my beautiful Queen, that’s it, take daddy’s cock nngh” Joel tells you as he grunts, bottoming out inside of you again and again.
You can’t help but to grunt as he continues to thrust deep in you. You’re barely able to comprehend anything that’s happened nor the fact you have an audience who also happen to be bowing down and chanting. You are well and throughly screwed.

Walking to the local general store was the last thing you wanted to add to your to-do list for the day. If only you had gotten up earlier, then maybe you would’ve noticed sooner that you were out of seeds to be planted for this season. No seeds means no crops, and no crops means you would be struggling to maintain the little level of sanity you had after taking on your grandfather’s long abandoned farm. The autumn season was beautiful here in your new home of Pelican Town. It was much different than the typical rustle and bustle of the city life you had before. But working in the corporate world had become too much stress. Not that this new flourishing farm was any less stressful, but the townspeople were always willing to help and you knew your grandfather would be proud that you were doing this for yourself.
Luckily, the farm wasn’t too far from the heart of the town where all the little stores and businesses were. It was just on the outskirts, maybe a mile or two outside the town limit, but you didn’t mind the walk. Walking was much more pleasant than sitting at a desk all day. Every day you fidgeted in your seat, anxiously awaiting for some way to leave and get out of the hell hole that was the corporate life. If not for that letter you remembered your grandfather had sent you, then you would probably still be stuck, the metaphorical chain still attached to your leg from the desk you were assigned to. It was a huge leap for yourself. Taking on an abandoned farm? Since when did you know anything about farming or crops or profit margins? The truth is that you had zero idea what you were doing, zero idea if this would even work out in the long run, but you wanted to have faith in yourself. You needed this change badly.
You checked your watch, almost 2pm. The store was still open until 5pm, so you had more than enough time to get there. Thankfully, you weren’t noticing your lack of seeds on a Wednesday or else you’d be out of luck until the next day.
The door’s chime bells dinged and donged as you opened the front door of the store and walked inside. Ever since moving to Pelican Town, you had told yourself that if you were going to buy seeds, you weren’t feeding the wallet of that scoundrel, Morris, at stupid Joja Mart down the road. You’d much rather contribute to the small community businesses. The mom and pop shops were always your favorite in the city; here, it was the same. You were no stranger to the aisles of Pierre’s; however, this was the start of a new season. The layout changed a bit each time, making room for the new seeds and items for sale. As you looked towards the counter, you could see Pierre speaking with Mayor Lewis. The conversation looked … intense? More than likely something about taxes and what not, so you didn’t want to really interrupt just to ask where the new season’s seeds would be.
You went down the first aisle, browsing through the shelves. There were so many new fall things that caught your eye, you almost forgot your real reason for coming to the store. As you turned down the next aisle, where hopefully those pesky new seeds were at, you bumped into another who was moving to the aisle you were on. You stumbled back a step or two but were able to catch your balance quickly.
“Oh, gosh! I’m so sorry, miss! I wasn’t looking where I was going. I hope you’re okay.” A hand reached out to assist you from the person you ran into. Clearly neither of you were paying any attention coming around the corner.
You brushed off his extended hand. “No, no. It’s fine! I wasn’t paying attention either, I’m sorry, too. I’m fine though, thank you,” you said with a smile. The man in front of you looked relieved that he didn’t hurt you in the head on collision you two had had. He was wearing a white button up, where the sleeves were so casually rolled up his forearms, with a black apron and a nametag on it. “Oh! Do you work here… Sterling?” you asked as you tried to read the scribbled name on the tag. He patted over his nametag and laughed. “Yeah, I do. Sorry, I know this chicken scratch ain’t the easiest to read. My name is Sterling, Sterling Cooper. And you are?” he asked, his smile was as radiant as the sun outside. “Oh, me? My name is Y/N. I just moved here awhile ago, took on that old farm down the road. It used to be my grandfather’s and he passed it on to me.”
“Ah, so you’re new here, huh?” he chuckled. “I used to live here as a kid and then moved to the city. I just moved back not too long ago either. Ole Pierre was nice enough to let me have my old job back from my teenage years.” As he said teenage years, you stared at him and laughed. He honestly didn’t look that old, but he talked as if he was pushing his 30s. “Teenage years? You mean like 2 years ago?” you jokingly said. He shook his head and snickered at your words. “I know this face looks fresh and new, but I promise I am 27. Those teenage years feel like a lifetime ago.” Twenty-seven? He didn’t really look it, but you were going to take his word. You laughed at his response as you stood there. His sapphire-like blue eyes sparkled the more he smiled. It was hard not to admire him, but you were here for seeds- not some maroon haired, blue eyed store clerk that you just met.
“Is there anything I can help you with?” he asked to break the silence between you two. You noticed he had a cart next to him that was full of new seasonal items. He must be stocking the shelves, I bet he knows where the stuff is at, you thought to yourself.
“Actually, that would be amazing?! I’m looking for some of the new fall seeds so I can get ahead on planting them on the farm. Just some things like artichoke, amaranth, bok choy- oh and pumpkins, of course! It wouldn’t be fall without those,” you chuckled as you read off your small list you had made for yourself.
“Well, let me see here,” Sterling said as he turned around and dug through the cart behind him. He was almost tossing stuff to the side in his search before finally finding a few seed pouches and turning around. “I’ve got the amaranth and bok choy seeds right here, but you’ll have to go down that way to get the artichoke and pumpkin seeds you need.” He offered you 4 small pouches of seeds, which you gladly took from him. “Thank you so much, Sterling! You’re so handsome!” The words just seemed to roll off your tongue without you even realizing it. You stood there like a deer caught in the headlights, embarrassed that you just said that out loud. Sterling, shocked as well, stood there silent with his mouth open- almost as if he was going to respond but couldn’t find the words to say.
Without saying anything more, you hurriedly walked past him and put your head down as you made your way to where he said the other seed packs would be. You could feel your face get hot with anxiety. You told yourself that next time you needed help, you were just going to interrupt Pierre or wait however long it took to get assistance from him. There was no way you would even think about asking Sterling for help again. You picked up the other packs of seed and damn near ran to the front counter. All you wanted to do right now was pay for your things and leave without talking to anyone else, especially not any other store clerks here.
“This it for you today, y/n?” Pierre said as he took the packs and started ringing them up. “Yeah, for a while at least. Hopefully I can get these planted today and have a good start for the season, y’know?” You spoke the words, but your mind was elsewhere, and Pierre could tell. “You okay? I can get you water if you need, you look like you should sit down or something.” You shook your head at his words, you didn’t need anything more from the store- you needed to go home and plant these seeds and, maybe later, hop into Gus’ bar and relax with a drink or two after today’s efforts. “Well alright then,” Pierre said with a sigh. He gave you your total, and you passed money over the counter. It took everything in you to not snatch the bag from him as you rushed to leave. But before you left, you decided to torture yourself even more and sneak a glance at Sterling, who was still stocking the shelves in the aisles. He was very handsome, there was no denying it, but why, oh why, did you have to say it out loud?
Tumblr media
You were standing at your kitchen sink, still cursing yourself internally about being weird at the general store, while you washed the dirt off your hands. The seeds were finally planted- at least one stressor for your day was gone, and with the homemade fertilizer you had whipped up, you hoped that this coming harvest would be bountiful enough in profit to hold you over til the cold winter months were through. After the day you had had, you just wanted to relax, so you changed out of your dirty, farming attire and slipped into some comfy, everyday wear. A nice drink and slice of pizza from Gus’ would make anyone’s day better.
By the time you arrived back in town, it was roughly about 9pm- a young night for those out and about at the saloon. You walked inside and approached the bar. “Oh, goodness! Y/N! Been a bit since you’ve come in, what can I get ya tonight?” Gus cheerily said as you sat down. “Can I get just a rum and coke and then let’s do a slice of that Gus’ famous pizza,” you hummed as you tapped your fingers on the counter. “Comin’ right up!” Gus turned around and started prepping the oven and grabbing an empty bottle to make your drink. The atmosphere was already making you relax; Gus had felt like a long distant uncle since you met him. He was always someone you could rely on that would listen to your woes and try to brighten your day in any way he could, which was usually with that pizza you loved so much.
As Gus put the drink in front of you, out of the corner of your eye you could see another person leaning on the bar as they sat down. “Hey, Gus! Can you get me an ale? Actually- make it two!” the voice sang. It didn’t take long to figure out who the person was that took the seat beside you. “Ah, absolutely, Sterling! Let me check this pizza and I’ll get ‘em served.” Sterling nodded as Gus went about his business and then turned to face you. “Did you get your seeds planted alright? Pierre said you didn’t look so good when you left the store earlier.” He put his hand on his cheek and leaned on the counter, smiling as he waited for you to answer.
“I’m fine,” you said as you glanced over at him. “They all got planted. I just … felt a little light headed. Yeah, lightheaded. But I’m fine now.” You traced the rim of your drink with your finger and then took a sip of it. The awkwardness from earlier in the day was still there for you, but he acted like nothing was wrong- or like you didn’t weirdly blurt out a compliment and run away when meeting him the first time.
“Lightheaded?” Sterling chuckled. “If that’s what you say it was, then I’ll take your word for it.” Gus placed the two ales in front of Sterling and went to the other side of the counter to take more orders from the townspeople waiting. “Don’t think this is a pickup line, but do you come here often?”
“Come here often? Sounds like a pickup line to me,” you teased. “But no, actually, I only come every once in a while- usually when it’s been a long day and I just need to relax. Why? Do you come here often?”
“Wow, first you call me handsome and now you’re asking if I come here often? Was it me that made you lightheaded? I’m flattered.” He grinned at you with a smile so delicious you thought that the few sips of your drink were already clouding your thoughts. As he took a drink of his ale, he could sense you still felt some type of way about the exchange earlier. “I mean, you called me handsome and I couldn’t even say anything before you scurried away. What if I was going to compliment you back?”
“So it was a pickup line. I’m not interested,” you said harshly, your brain and heart pulling you two different ways. “It wasn’t a real pickup line, I swear it,” he said as he held his hand over his heart in sincerity. “But what if I said I was interested? Then what? What if I wanted to tell you that I also think you’re stunning and I’d like to get to know you more, if you’d allow me?”
“Gus, is my pizza ready? Can you box it for me?” You practically shouted as you ignored Sterling beside you. You stood up from your seat and fumbled in your wallet to grab the money for your food and drink. “It’s like that?” Sterling asked with a surprised look on his face. “I have to get back to Shane anyway, he’s probably laughing at my failed attempt right now. I hope I’ll see you around though.” You watched him from the corner of your eye get up from the counter and grab the two drinks and walk over towards the fireplace where you could see Shane standing.
As Gus took the money you handed him and put the box in your hand, he didn’t let go of it. You looked up at him confused. “He’s a nice guy, really. Been through some hard times, but I wouldn’t cross him off your list just yet.” He gave a wink to you and let go of the pizza box. “Thanks, Gus,” you said quietly. You looked over your shoulder at Sterling and Shane, laughing and drinking their ale together. The way he looked when he was happy, smiling and laughing, it was like sunshine in human form. You downed the remaining bit of your drink, which truthfully wasn’t even that much, and left the saloon with even more on your mind than before you came in.

Halloween in Charming was about what you’d expect from any small town. Kids were running from door to door, parents half-heartedly playing catch-up with them to make sure they didn’t get too far away. Lights were on above almost every doorway, decorations abound. It was a sweet scene, for the most part.
Just like every other town, though, Halloween in Charming came with its own set of trouble and chaos. Teenagers were running amok causing trouble. Twenty-something’s partied a little too hard and made some stupid decisions in the wake of it. Extra work for Charming PD, but nothing that was unmanageable—they knew it was coming every year.
The one thing that set Charming apart from other small towns, all 365 nights of the year not just Halloween, was the Sons of Anarchy. And, while the club wasn’t exactly known for being festive on Halloween, they were known for causing trouble. Real trouble. Again, that wasn’t something that was specific to the holidays. It was easier to try and hide their messes when there were so many other things going on, though. And they tried.
Hale missed what the original call was on the radio. The details of it didn’t make it through the static but what he did hear was the location, and that was all he really needed to hear. He tried to wrap up the current situation on his hands as quickly as possible. After all, it wasn’t like the kids buying beer from the corner store with fake ID’s were really doing any serious damage. Hale would never admit it, but he was actually a little impressed that they at least tried to be creative enough with their costumes to not get busted for using fakes. Too bad the man behind the counter had been working there long enough to have seen every trick in the book.
By the time that Hale got to the clubhouse, there were still cop cars parked at the compound, lights on but sirens off. Pulling in, he saw Gemma yelling at one of his other officers, Clay standing just a few steps away shaking his head at it all. Whatever the call must’ve been that triggered this, it couldn’t have been that serious if Clay was still there.
Stepping out of his car, Hale walked over. The second Gemma heard his footsteps on the ground she turned and focused all of her attention on him. “Are you the one who started all of this shit?” she asked.
Hale lifted his eyebrows slightly, the smirk on his face was unprofessional, sure, but it wasn’t as though Gemma was the type to give a damn about professionalism. “I don’t even know why we’re all here.”
“Just you and your guys, looking for any reason to jam us up.”
He gave a slow nod. “Yeah,” sarcasm dripped off his voice, “sounds like us.”
The officer she’d been speaking to previously cleared his throat, earning his way back into the conversation even if he didn’t want to deal with more of Gemma’s wrath. “They took Teller and Winston down to the station.”
Hale nodded. “Alright. You got things here, then?”
The young officer clearly didn’t want to be left to his own devices again with Gemma, but he also knew that Hale only phrased it as a question to be polite—he didn’t have a choice in the matter any more than Jax and Opie had a choice in getting brought to the station. “I got it here.”
Hale whipped into the station parking lot just a handful of minutes later. Hopping out of his car, he wasted no time heading right in. It was impossible to miss that Jax and Opie weren’t the only people who had been picked up over the course of the night. There were a few teenagers in the holding cells—they probably wouldn’t even end up booking them, really, just calling their parents and getting them in a bit of trouble at home. A few hours in a cell might be a decent deterrent for a bit, though, so they let them marinate in there.
He ran into Unser before anyone else, which he should’ve seen coming considering who it was that was picked up. There hadn’t been a time in recent history when Unser didn’t look annoyed, but he seemed more annoyed than usual under the current circumstances.
“What’s going on, Chief?” Hale asked, more smug than he had the right to be considering he didn’t have any idea what was going on outside of Jax and Opie being picked up.
“Why don’t you tell me. What the hell are you hoping to get out of Jax and his friend in there?”
Hale held his hands out just slightly, palms out like a sign of innocence. “I didn’t bring them in—I just showed up after the fact.” He paused, letting Unser turn that information over in his mind before asking, “What’d they get brought in for?”
“What started off as a noise complaint turned into assault on a police officer,” one of their other officers piped up before Unser could try and respond to downplay the issue.
Hale couldn’t hide the confusion on his face. “Assault on a—”
“Jax took a swing when one of the guys got smart,” Unser said with a shake of his head.
“When he got smart?” David couldn’t stop the incredulity from sneaking into his voice. He knew that Unser was always going to be pulling for the men in the MC, but sometimes it still managed to shock him.
“Yeah,” Unser replied, no hesitation, just as stubborn as the man in front of him. “Maybe we should have the rookies stop following you around—put ‘em with someone who can teach a little bedside manner.”
Hale rolled his eyes. “Like you? Might end up getting a little too close to the be—”
“Yo!” Jax yelled out from the cell. “Hale, what the hell are we doing in here?”
Hale chuckled. “From the sounds of it, you’re here because you assaulted a police officer.”
Jax scoffed. “Assault. Jesus Christ. Gemma’s hit me harder than I hit him.”
Hale didn’t mean to smile but he still did. “I believe that.” He paused, sucking in a deep, dramatic sigh as he dragged the moment out longer than necessary. Anything to get more of a rise out of Jax. “Assault on a police officer. Not great for either of you, considering everything. Bail for that isn’t gonna be cheap.”
“You serious?” Opie piped up.
Hale shrugged. “Or you can ride it out. Go home in the morning.”
Opie grunted before letting his head fall back against the wall. “Fuck that.”
“Well, guess there isn’t anything I can do for you two, then.” He turned to Unser and the other officer. “Make sure they don’t manage to slip out. Cut ‘em loose in the morning.”
Unser tried to stop him. “Do you really think this is the best use—”
“They can post bail or they can wait it out,” Hale cut him off. “Just like everyone else in Charming.”
Hale was turning on his heel and heading towards the exit before Unser could get another word in edge-wise. He left them with a remark about how if they managed to get anything in a report that could actually stick, to leave it on his desk and he would look at it in the morning. Realistically, Hale knew that whatever someone had called in on the club for, wasn’t going to amount to anything. Same way that Jax and Opie getting into it with his guys wasn’t going to stick either. He was aware of all that, but he was also aware of the fact that it was all going to be annoying and inconvenient for the club. That was worth it enough, in Hale’s opinion.
When he was walking down the steps of the station, he saw a familiar car rolling onto the lot. He slowed down as his boots hit the pavement. The cocky feeling that just had him walking tall out of the station evaporated immediately when Tara’s cutlass slow to a stop and park right next to his Jeep.
“Shit,” he mumbled under his breath, forcing himself to keep walking. He didn’t know why he felt guilty as he walked closer to her car—none of what had unfolded was his fault. And it wasn’t even like anything had really happened. It certainly wasn’t the worst run-in Jax had ever had with Charming PD.
Clearing his throat, Hale got her attention as she was putting her car keys into her purse. “Tara.”
Looking up, her eyes widened slightly for a moment in surprise until she saw who it was that was speaking to her. Her expression relaxed a little bit then, her tiredness showing through a little more. “Hey.”
“What’re you doing here?”
She laughed half-heartedly. “I think you know.”
“You’re not,” he motioned over his shoulder with his thumb, “you’re not here to bail him out, are you?”
“You want me to just let him sit in there?” she asked with a small smile.
“I think you know,” he turned his words right back onto her.
She laughed again, this time a little more genuinely. “David.”
He was smiling before he even realized it. One simple utterance of his name from her and suddenly he felt like he was right back in high school all over again. She always said it the same way, that note of softness that he didn’t hear from anyone else. Even back then. And now, when everyone in Charming had taken to calling him by his last name, and usually with no hint of softness whatsoever, it landed a little harder.
He knew he was too late to stop himself from getting side-tracked with the thoughts of it all, of her, but he still tried to distract himself by dealing with the situation at hand. “Let someone else babysit him for the night.”
She rolled her eyes, still smiling. “I’m not his babysitter. I’m…” she trailed off for a moment, amusement dropping from her face for a moment before she tried to recover, “his emergency contact, apparently.”
“Tara.”
He didn’t have to say anything else. Letting her head drop back, she sighed. “I know.”
“Jax is a big boy—he’ll be fine for one night.”
“You’re enjoying that, aren’t you?” she asked, already knowing the answer.
“You should try enjoying it too,” he suggested with a slight grin. There was a beat of a pause as they both chuckled before he got the courage to just ask, “You two…?” He wanted to finish the sentence but he couldn’t, mostly because he was afraid of the possible answers.
She shook her head. “No. We’re…that’s…no.”
“Right.”
It all felt so similar. Hale wasn’t sure how much he bought into the notion of deja vu, but something about standing there with Tara gave him a feeling that was about as close to that as he could imagine. There were a lot of years and changes between who they were now, and who they were back in high school, sure. But some things clearly hadn’t changed. Tara came back and suddenly old routines were kicking up again—her trying to clean up after Jax, Hale trying to get her to stop. The longer he stood there and looked at her, the more he realized that old habits were accompanied by old feelings. That sense of pining settling into his chest again—it didn’t feel any less hopeless now than it had then. Back then it had always been her looking at Jax, Hale looking at her. He had to hope that some things could be different now, though. That maybe he had a shot now that he hadn’t back then.
“You should go,” he said, firm enough to not sound quite like a plea even though it was one.
She sighed, nodding. “Maybe.”
He saw the slightly lost look on her face and frowned for a moment. Resting his hands on his belt, he said, “You remember, what was it, sophomore year?”
She raised her eyebrows slightly, but there was a hint of a smile on her face. “It’s all a bit of a blur—you’ll have to be more specific.”
Hale chuckled. “Halloween, sophomore year. All of us were supposed to be going to—”
Recognition flashed across her face. “The haunted house.”
He nodded, smiling. “The haunted house, yeah. We were about to head in when a bunch of their friends came by and pulled them away.”
Her laugh turned into a scoff. “To go and egg houses.”
Hale nodded again. “Right.”
Tara gestured towards the police station. “I think this is where they ended up that night too.”
He laughed. “Probably.”
“I was so mad.”
He laughed a little harder. “I remember.”
“That wasn’t a bad night, though.” She crossed her arms over her chest, smiling as it all came back. “We went to the diner, right? Ate our body weights in breakfast for dinner.”
“Yeah,” he said, the grin on his face coming a little more easily now, less guilt behind it.
There was a pause. Tara was waiting to see if Hale was going to get into his Jeep, and Hale was waiting to see if she was going to do what she’d originally shown up to do and go into the station to bail out Jax and probably Opie too. That was the position they were always left in, always waiting for the other to do or say something more. If only either of them had ever figured out what the other was thinking.
Reaching back into her purse, Tara pulled out her car keys. When she looked back at Hale, she smiled, looking a little less tired than she had a few minutes before as she asked, “Are you busy right now?”
He shook his head, caught between feeling relief and excitement at the question. “Was just about to head home.”
She motioned towards her car. “Wanna go eat? Bet the diner still does breakfast for dinner.”
He nodded without hesitation. “Absolutely.” He chuckled. “Think I’ll get a discount if I tell them the uniform is a costume?”
Tara laughed. “Should’ve worn my scrubs.” She shook her head with another laugh before saying, “I’ll meet you there?”
“Yeah, yeah that sounds good.”

To He, Who Hung the Stars: Ch 4
Gifts
SSBlankPeriod2023
In three months time their new house will be ready, building it from the ground up, but for the time being the Uchiha family will be living in Sakura’s old apartment. Kakashi graciously ensured it remained unoccupied during the time of her and Sasuke’s absence, leaving them a place to return to.
Thankfully the one-bedroom residence doesn’t feel too cramped with the three of them. Upon returning the married pair did a late spring cleaning session and got rid of many items they didn’t need or stored them in scrolls until they moved to their permanent house.
Little Sarada doesn’t take up too much space yet – her crib nestles in the corner of the bedroom that her grandparents bought, changing pad stored underneath, folded in a drawer are all of the clothes gifted by auntie Ino and auntie Hinata, in the living room are toys given by uncle Naruto and uncle Kakashi.
Today both father and daughter are out on the town running errands; having lunch with Naruto and Boruto, giving away a few items to a second hand shop that they have no use for, and buying groceries, while Sakura takes time to finish unpacking from their travels.
Sakura decorates with objects picked up from various locations across their journey, each one of them holding their own story and memory she thinks back on with fondness; such as a frame of dried pressed flowers from the festival in Hanagakure, and the special sake gifted to them from the officiant who married them in Yuki.
Next Sakura takes the stack of letters Sasuke wrote to her over the years without her knowledge, finding out only after she accidentally picked up his bag the wrong way and they all fell out. Some of them short with only a few words or a sentence, while some span the length of multiple pages. Dating back to his first journey of redemption to weeks after they found out she was pregnant, the fact he took the time to write out his innermost thoughts for her, about her, will never not make heart swell with overwhelming affection for the man she loves.
Finding a small box, Sakura tenderly places the letters inside and sets them on the top shelf of the bedroom closet. Keeping them easily accessible in case she ever wants to reread them.
The last thing she needs to do is clean their clothes, and then she’ll be done for the day. Sorting them by what’s worth keeping and what should just be thrown out, she comes across a very familiar item.
The two-tone brown poncho she sent Sasuke years ago, a few months after he left the second time when the weather started to become colder. Sakura runs her fingers over some of the many parts that needed to be stitched back together, a smile plays on her lips thinking about the amount of times she tried to convince him to get a new one but he refused, never really giving her a reason aside from that one being just fine. He can be so stubborn sometimes.
Sometimes when she was bored, she’d sew little patterns or and designs into it, her silly little art pieces which were nothing fancy; flowers, stars, and his family crest. They’re barely visible unless you look closely, using thread the same color as the poncho, but it was like a little secret they shared. She holds it close to her chest, even though it’s been worn to death and should go in the pile of clothes that should be thrown out, she knows Sasuke would want to keep it.
Seconds later she hears the front door of the apartment open, along with a bit of shuffling, and a familiar warm chakra signature. “Tadaima,” she hears him call as the door shuts.
Sakura goes to greet them at the entrance, “okaeri.” Sasuke stands in the hallway having already taken off his shoes and cloak, holding a bag in his lone hand and Sarada strapped to his chest, giggling and stretching her tiny limbs because she’s excited to see her mama. “How’d it go?” she asks, taking a couple steps closer and extends her hand for her daughter to play with.
“Fine,” Sasuke responds. Glancing at the item she holds, he asks, “what are you doing with that?”
“I was just going through some of our clothes, figured you’d want to keep this.”
“Hn.”
Dipping her chin once, she folds it over her left arm. “Why? If you don’t mind me asking. Is there something special about it?” Sakura inquires curiously. When she picked it up, she figured it was a normal poncho that would keep him comfortable during the colder months. Honestly, she didn’t even expect him to return home with it, let alone insisting to keep it.
“I kept this for a long time because of you,” fractionally, he turns his head to the side but she thinks there’s a hint of pink dusting his complexion. “Because you gave it to me.”
Her own face begins to heat up, not anticipating that response. “O-oh,” she lets out a nervous laugh, butterflies fluttering in her tummy. It’s unexpected yet totally expected of him, she realizes. At first glance, not everyone would consider Sasuke to be as thoughtful and sentimental as he actually can be, especially when it comes to the ones who hold a special place in his heart. Someone who appreciates the little details and the extra steps people take for him; a very kind and pure soul.
“Alright then,” she grins happily. “I’ll add it to the wash.”

We Saw Elephants
September 16, 2022.
Before I began to write this piece (which contains stories from accurately two months and a week ago) I googled “Elephant can Remember” and got a lot of review for Agatha Christie’s work. My memory confused that for “An Elephant Never Forgets”.
When I googled with the right keywords, this is what I found:
“By using experiences that are stored in its brain as memories, an elephant is able to handle many dangerous situations that might appear in future. For instance, if they survived a drought in childhood, then they would be able to sense the danger of drought in a particular area (basically making a mental connection with the childhood memory ingrained in its brain).”
I haven’t read Madame Christie’s “Elephant can Remember”, though I always wanted to (I remembered Nemesis was a really great company of mine during my isolation time in Nusa Tenggara Timur). I haven’t actually seen elephants (though I might, when I was so much smaller, in some zoos), though I always wanted to.
That one particular Thursday, I got a message from sis:
Dad is coming this weekend. You better stay home, ok?
I didn’t reply. I stared on my phone screen for a while, and been thinking for the rest of the day. At home, we didn’t really have chance to talk because we were too busy—I was busy planning things with my new social life, my sis is always busy with her little family and work.
In time like this, my head would always, always turn to Uncu (derived from Minangnese of ‘uncle’—he has 11 nieces and nephews in total, and about to have one more). Uncu (a.k.a. Ridho a.k.a Dori) is that type of friend who would definitely say yes even if you asked him to go to Antarctic within only 5 minutes before departure. He lives his best life everyday, now that is the good thing.
The bad thing is, we both sometimes are impulsive. I texted him:
I don’t wanna be in the city this weekend. U wanna go somewhere?
Dori, being himself, replied within only minute:
Sure! Where?
Indeed, that too is my question. Where? We—Dori and I—had been to places: Pantai Laguna Kaur (8 hours from the city), Pantai Manna (4 hours away, en route to Kaur), Curup (only 2 hours riding). That would be another-time stories.
So, where? This should be a great escape—but Uncu’s supposed to not know this. This should be just a casual weekend adventure for him. I texted him back:
What about seeing elephant?
Dori is a fruitful storyteller, hence if he once went there, I should have known. But I didn’t. Dori replied back:
Ok.
If there is one thing about Dubas that I am forever grateful for, it is no other than the fact that I found people that I would treasure the most, including Uncu—I mean, Dori. Or whatever.

I think I did write that I have been staying away from home for months now. Not only because our home preserves a lot of memories about Mum, but more because of the reason that I found out Dad was finding some other women—but that’s unnecessary.
I saw no reasons to explain it to him, or to anyone, so I decided to leave. I decided to stop talking to him. When my sister told me that we should get this problem solved and Dad is about to come in town, my nature told me to run. So I did.
I remember, when I was younger and more sensitive, Mum would sometimes get mad and yell at me. I hid. Everybody was trying to search for me, as though I was really gone. At that time, I like the feeling of being found. I somehow enjoyed the fear in my Mum’s voice as she was looking for me in corners of the house—terrible, I know—while I was curling up right in the left nook of the house.
As I grew up, I came to know that I no longer want to be found. When my instinct tells me run, what I wanted to was actually get lost. I keep pretending that the problems do not exist, so I could live just finely. I keep on avoiding people who hurt me, instead of confronting them and tell what I actually feel.
I have read and heard things about overcoming this-and-that-part-of-life-and-so-on wisely but never get better at doing it in real life. Nobody does, anyway. 2022, as I recall, was not only the year of grief, but also the year of escape. I have been escaping from what I should have faced in the first place. Sometimes, the sense of satisfaction by doing this scared me.
Tumblr media
Seblat, the site where we could see elephants live in their habitat is about 6 hours away.
We went on Friday afternoon, after my office hours ended. Uncu was happily jobless at that time (now he’s a busy man, huft). We arrived at Ketahun in the drizzly night, nearby Oma’s house. But Oma also should not know this escape. So, we booked a cheap motel room for one night and intended to leave in the next morning—which we did.
It took another 2 hours to get to Putri Hijau, and another half an hour into the deeper forest, relied onto only Google Maps. After a long ride with feeling of afraid that we might have taken the wrong path, we finally, awkwardly, arrived.
There was no ticketing in the gate, though there were some welcoming statues. There were some (we believe) animal-coaches looking after the elephant as they chewed their lunch, though they were not really welcoming us as we thought they should have. We were just suddenly being really shy and somehow embarrassed.
I remembered, we stared on each other and asked “Is it the right place?” through our eyes, even that we knew the answer was most probably “Yes, this is the place.”
Tumblr media
I think it’s really true that elephants have the most sincere eyes. I saw it. We saw elephants.
But none of us was brave enough to ask any of the old men there to guide us or, just to let us touch the elephant. But it was too beautiful to hurt. Even though they are gigantic, I felt somehow that my hands could hurt them. They looked so powerful, and yet vulnerable. They look so big, and yet warm. They look so textured, and yet so pale. They contained so many paradoxes.
Uncu and I observed the elephants from our motorcycle for the next thirty minutes, until their coaches herded them to go down on the stream. Uncu took a video while they were showering in the water (I should ask him for this). That was the end of our meeting with those elephants.
I don’t know about Uncu, but I did not regret this. Well, that statement is partially because I got away from home, partially because I really did so. I wanted to go there again one day.
______________
As I continued my research on elephants’ memories, I found out that they are not the most superior type. Clark's nutcracker birds able to hide their food in differently-complex and secretive places for the winter. However, I’m pretty sure that the proverb wouldn’t change to “Clark's nutcracker bird never forgets” easily. All in all, it’s still elephants that steal my heart. And after that particular journey I had with Uncu, I might never think elephants as just animals now. They helped me in a hurtfully beautiful phase of my life.
As for Uncu, he told me that the journey was absurdly, stupidly fun. I’m happy that he thinks so.
“Rest assured that forgetting is an essential part of life…”

I Just Wanna Fall in Love Like Everybody Else Does - Dean Winchester Imagine (Supernatural)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Title: I Just Wanna Fall in Love Like Everybody Else Does
Pairing: Dean Winchester X Reader
Based On: Normal
Word Count: 1,217 words
Warning(s): violence, mentions of monsters/hunting
Summary: Dean wants to try his hand at a “normal” relationship. His biggest fear is that his lifestyle and past will keep him from experiencing the one thing he wants more than anything.
Author's Note: Written in third person
Hey! I did a rewrite of the ending of Supernatural. It took a really long time to complete, so it would mean a lot to me if you check it out. Here’s a link! (it’s on my personal account)
SONDER - THE WRECKS WRITING CHALLENGE MASTERLIST
------------------------------------
Dean had always had this underlying desire for some kind of normalcy.
He never wanted to admit it but he had always carried this want for a normal life. A normal house, a normal job, a normal partner. He wanted all of it.
However, he had long since accepted that it wasn't in the cards for him to experience those things. Hunting made that impossible for him. So, he stopped entertaining the idea.
And then, he met (Y/n).
For the first time ever, he entertained the idea of normal.
They weren't part of the hunting life. They just happened to live in Lebanon. They were the average person. No history with monsters, didn't spend their life running from motel to motel, didn't know how many times the world had almost crumbled apart.
The two of them had met at the small store that the brothers had commonly used for food runs. What Dean thought was going to be a one-time meeting turned into a normal pattern. The two of them seemed to constantly run into each other whenever Dean and Sam weren't out on a hunt.
As they talked more, Dean found himself looking at the idea of a normal relationship with someone.
However, his life never allowed something to be so simple.
Asking (Y/n) out was easy enough. The pair had found themselves in the small store again, laughing with each other as Dean decided on pie flavors. Once conversation had died down a bit, he just kinda let the question slip, offering to take them out for drinks. (Y/n) seemed shocked for a moment, but nodded, saying that it would be fun.
That was the easy part.
The hard part was getting to the date.
(Y/n) had been in the middle of getting dressed when Dean called to cancel. When pushed for a reason, he just mumbled that it was a work call. They rescheduled for about a week later.
Dean called again after that, saying that this work trip was taking longer than he expected and that he was so sorry. They decided to reschedule when he got back to town.
(Y/n) couldn't help but feel a little nervous about the whole thing. What if he had reconsidered? What if this was Dean's way of trying to let (Y/n) down easy?
Dean ended up calling about two days later. He and his brother were on their way back. Should make it in time for drinks, if (Y/n) was still interested in meeting up. After taking a moment to process the feeling of relief, (Y/n) accepted.
After that, the first date went well. They just seemed to click with each other.
Dean decided that night that he was going to protect (Y/n) from his life. They didn't deserve to be dragged into the chaos that he had grown so accustomed to.
Honestly, it had been going pretty well. He had managed to be with them without putting them in danger. Finally, Dean had his sense of normal. One thing to help him escape from the hunting life completely. When he was with (Y/n), he didn't have to worry about anything else. It was everything he had wanted.
Maybe he had gotten too comfortable. Forgotten himself. He was so fixed on this escape that he forgot that the monsters didn't actually care if he wanted a break.
It was a few months into (Y/n) and Dean's relationship. The pair had gone out for drinks after one of Dean's "work trips".
He had relaxed. Sitting at a small table in the corner, he relaxed as (Y/n) told him some work story. He had reached over and grabbed one of (Y/n)'s hands, running his thumb over their knuckles.
It all had gone wrong so fast.
There had been a few demons in the bar that had decided that this was the time to attack Dean. He had been lucky that he had shown up right after him and Sam got back from the hunt; he still had his angel blade with him.
"What the hell is happening," (Y/n) asked as Dean guided them behind the bar.
"Just stay down," he said. "I'll... I'll explain in a bit."
He wanted it to be a fast fight. Get everything handled and move on... try to explain what had happened.
It wasn't that easy.
Dean soon found himself pinned against the wall with his blade rolling across the room away from him. His eyes were about to close when the demon in front of him fell. He barely caught himself before he fell to the floor. He looked up to see (Y/n) standing there with the angel blade in their hands.
Once (Y/n) realized that the fighting was over, they threw the blade away. Dean saw how scared they were. Crap. This was exactly what he had been trying to avoid.
"(Y/n)," he said softly.
(Y/n) stopped him by running forward and hugging him tightly. He reacted as quick as he could, arms wrapping around them as he dragged them closer to him.
"It's okay," he promised. "It's over."
(Y/n) wasn't crying or trying to hide. It was almost like they were trying to comfort him more than he was comforting them.
"Are you okay," they asked, stepping back. They grabbed the sides of his face.
"Yeah," he nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. Come on. Let's get you home."
When they got to (Y/n)'s place, Dean agreed to go in with them. He sat on the couch while (Y/n) changed their clothes, which had been covered in whatever had been left of their drinks.
(Y/n) came back out and sat next to Dean quietly. They reached out to grab his hand. He pulled his hand away slowly. Guilt had set in.
"Dean," they mumbled.
"I should go," he said, standing up.
"What, no," (Y/n) grabbed his hand before he could leave. "Please don't leave. I... I need to know what happened."
Dean studied their face for a moment. He sighed before sitting back down. Thus began the story. He explained everything. The monsters, his life, the end of the world (more than once). All of it.
(Y/n) stared at him in shock. It was a lot to take in.
"I screwed this whole thing up," Dean muttered after a moment of silence. "I tried so hard to hide this from you. Keep you safe. I ruined it."
"No, no," (Y/n) shook their head. "You... You didn't ruin anything, Dean."
He looked down, "I wanted this one thing. This one thing that wasn't affected by this. I... I had one normal thing and I messed it all up."
There was a long pause between the pair.
"Normal is relative," (Y/n) finally muttered. Dean looked at them. "It's not cleanly defined. One person's normal can be completely different than another person's normal."
Dean didn't respond.
"And I want whatever normal comes with being with you," they added. "Because I... I love you, Dean. No matter what your definition of normal is."
"Really?"
(Y/n) nodded.
Dean leaned over and pressed his lips to theirs immediately. (Y/n) reacted as fast as they could, cupping the side of his face as they smiled into the kiss.
"I love you too," Dean mumbled before kissing them again.
He was okay if they had their own version of normal.

F is for Friends Who Kill Fae Together || Ari & Jonas
TIMING: A week-ish ago (before Jonas got Blue and Ari got broken) PARTIES: @moonrivermedium & @letsbenditlikebennett SUMMARY: Ari runs into Jonas and a friendly little fear monster in the shadows then have a cute friend date.
Jonas knew it was late to be out and probably unwise given what he learned recently about the town, but the convenience store wasn’t that far and he had a dire need for more coffee to fuel his late night repairs. The sweet allure of caffeine drew him from the safety of his shop and now he was seriously considering quitting as he felt it’s eyes on him again. He didn’t know what it was or what it wanted but the feeling of fear certainly kept him moving forward. If his dealings with ghosts taught him anything it was that looking at supernatural things tended to be a bad idea. “Just walk just walk just walk-” he mumbled to himself.
Jonas was so lost in thought didn’t even notice the person in front of him as he rudely bumped into their shoulder. “Oh sorry sorry, are you okay?” He turned to face her and caught sight of the monster from the corner of his eyes, “Oh no no no no.” He put a hand up as quickly as possible as if it would block out the monster, “Please tell me you see that too.” He whispered and gestured towards the shadows.
Since Ari was unable to sleep, she figured she might as well go grab a late night snack and a few beers from the pub downtown. If she was lucky, there’d even be a soccer match on. At least that would keep her mind busy for a bit and off of the nightmares that seemed to follow her most everywhere she went these days. Normally, she’d be far more alert, but the lack of sleep was getting to her. There wasn’t enough cold brew coffee and energy drinks in the world to make up for just not sleeping. So when she collided into someone, she was quick to assume it was her fault. “Shit,” she gasped, “I’m sorry. I wasn’t paying attention. Are you alright?”
There was a terrified look in the guy’s eyes and he was quickly covering them. Ari whipped her head around and squinted into the shadows. At first, all she could see was a dark figure, but quickly the sense of fear washed over her too. She was no stranger to fear, but this felt deep rooted. She’d faced things far bigger and badder than the seemingly small, winged creature, but for some reason, this thing induced absolute terror in her. Even the flickering streetlight filled her with a sense of dread. It was difficult to push down, but she had to. While she hardly cared if she was in danger, whoever she just bumped into was clearly at risk here. She swallowed back the nauseating feeling that came with the sound of her heart pounding in her throat and answered, “I see it.” Her voice sounded much more confident than she felt. “Back away slowly, I think I can,” she wasn’t actually sure of anything as she pulled one of the many iron knives she kept on her person out, “I can take care of it.”
Jonas’ eyes widened at the sight of a knife being randomly pulled and while he generally was against stabbing unknown monsters, you never knew what might happen after all, he figured the girl in front of him knew better than he did on this matter. Still he gently grabbed her wrist, his fingers were trembling as he softly whispered, “Just-Just be careful okay?” He really didn’t want to stop someone who could just pull a knife out of nowhere but he also didn’t want her to get hurt. He wouldn’t know what to do if she did. He wasn’t sure if he would be much help; he was barely holding it together as is and he definitely did not know how to fight, he hoped she did for both their sakes.
His legs were shaking as he slowly backed up giving her space.  He made sure to keep his eyes on the ground, the fear was enough just thinking about it; he didn’t want to add to it by sparing any looks the monster’s way. He heard the creature make a strange noise and a fluttering of wings; it took all he could to not bolt on the spot. Instead he made sure to give the girl enough room and took to hiding behind a car next to the street. He closed his eyes and tried to breathe to himself, praying the girl would be fine. “In and out Jonas in and out.” He whispered to himself frantically.
Fear was an emotion Ari was all too familiar with. She’d lost too much to not be afraid that at any moment she could lose someone else, because she could. After a while, she stopped fearing for her own life and feared being the one left behind yet again. But this winged creature had her fearing the very building they stood next to. It couldn’t be real, it was fabricated and she could ignore it. She had to. The boy she’d just run into told her to be careful and that meant getting it together. She let out a long breath as she braced another iron knife in her hand. Her heart was pounding rapidly in her chest, but she ignored it.
She dove toward the shadowed creature whose eyes were piercing. Ari avoided its gaze as it only further unsettled her. She had no idea what this was, but she couldn’t afford it. The winged creature that she assumed as some sort of fae was small and quick so it was easily able to dodge her. “Fucker,” she grumbled under her breath as she reached an arm out to slash it with the blade. It let out a hiss and based on the smell in the air, she guessed the iron burned it. That meant she’d been right when she’d guessed fae.
That meant this would be easy enough, get a grip on the little shit and plunge her knife somewhere fatal. Ari had faced worse, but the fear that was turning her stomach seemed to feed something else. It only took one glance up to see a familiar face. It was enough to stop her in her tracks as the phobid kept her anxieties alive. Lydia’s sneer didn’t do much to help either. The hand holding the knife shook and her eyes met those of the leanan-sidhe whose death had been largely her fault. No matter how much she told herself it was earned, the taunting look on the fae’s face played to her fears. You’re no better than I was. The voice sent a shudder through her and she found herself unable to move. It felt like the shadows and the buildings were caving in on her. “Go away,” she whispered, forgetting about the bag of salt shoved safely away in her pocket.
Jonas listened to the scuffle from behind the car, eventually when he got a hold on the fear he peeked his head out and noticed the girl had freezed. “Oh..Oh no.” His hands tapped against the car’s hood as he decided what to do. It seemed like it had her stuck somehow despite its size. He knew that looking at it made everything ten times worse so maybe he had to break its line of sight with her. He dropped his bag, the glass bottles of iced coffee rattling in protest, forcing himself out into the open he slipped his cardigan off and tossed it over the girl’s head in the hope it’d snap her out of whatever funk she was in as he drew the tiny beast’s attention away to give her more time. “O-over here! Please!” He shouted, hoping the creature would be more enticed by its original prey as he attempted to lead it away from her. His eyes met the creatures and the fear swelled within him but he kept leading it the other direction he just needed to buy time.
If it were any closer to the full moon, the handle of the blade would have crushed in her hand with how tight Ari was gripping it. The shadow fairy thing seemed to slip away entirely and all she could focus on was the satisfied smirk on Lydia’s face. Her breath caught in her throat and for a moment, all she could hear was white noise. Out of nowhere, her vision was being shielded by a soft piece of fabric that smelled of vanilla and chamomile. It brought her back to the fight at hand and hid the sneer from a woman she never wanted to see again. Jonas was calling the fairy thing to it and she whipped the cardigan off. She grabbed a handful of salt from her own jacket pocket and threw it at the image of Lydia. It flicked away and prepared the knife in her other hand again.
The phobid was distracted now as the guy she’d just run into was looking into its eyes. Fuck. Ari knew she had to move fast. This thing may not be deadly, but the fear it induced sounded like one hefty therapy bill. She lunged toward the winged creature and grabbed it in her arms. As it squirmed, it dug its claws into her arms. A low growl escaped her lips as she quickly found her target and plunged the knife into its chest. It hissed as it collapsed in her arms and she let it slide to the ground. She stared blankly at it for a moment, almost expecting it to perk back up, but finally ended up letting out the breath she was holding. She shook her head and blinked as she looked back up at Jonas. “Sorry about that,” she murmured, looking down at the now torn and bloodied sleep of her jacket, “I don’t usually get distracted like that. Are you okay?”
Jonas thought he was doing alright until the tapping started. His breathing picked up till he was practically hyperventilating and then all of a sudden it stopped and the creature was dead. But the fear persisted and he couldn’t seem to catch his breath. He slapped a hand over his mouth, even in the throws of panic still remembering the steps he had to take to calm down. He didn’t answer her till his breath evened enough that he only gasped a little between each word. “I-I’m fine. What was that thing? Why was it following me? Why did it have wings?” His mouth did what it best and fired off as he moved closer to her, “Are you hurt? You look hurt, god that thing was terrifying.” He gently reached for her arm pausing before touching it to ask permission, “If it isn’t too deep, I can patch it up back at my Shop. I’m Jonas by the way. Thank you for helping. I thought it would have left by now. It didn’t come into my shop and I ran out of coffee. What were you doing out here? Not that it really matters if you don’t want to answer I’m just glad you were out here.”
Ari found that her own heart was still going at a rapid pace. Everything around them still had a weird disorienting feeling that was hard to shake, but the shadow fae was gone now. The body on the ground and the blood dripping from her own arms was proof of that. She could hear Jonas struggling to catch his breath and slowed her own breathing to help. Mirroring helped sometimes. His question sent her gaze back to the body on the ground and she frowned at it. It wasn’t normal for her to doubt her actions like this, especially against a monster, but Lydia’s words rang in her mind. “I’m not sure,” she answered truthfully, “Some kind of fae since iron seemed to burn it. I don’t know if it was necessarily following you. Things like this just sort of… show up around here. Not this specifically, but you know, strange stuff.” She looked down at her arm again. She was honestly more pissed off about the jacket, but she’d grown used to her clothes getting destroyed in this place. “Oh, I’m fine. Nothing that can’t be patched up. It was, yeah, weirdly terrifying actually. Stuff like that doesn’t usually scare me.” It was a nice offer and sounded better than idly watching soccer at the Perfect Pint. Then she realized the name sounded familiar. “Wait, Jonas who works on antiques? I think we were chatting online. I’m Ari. But uh, that’d be good. I was walking to Perfect Pint to see if there were any soccer matches on, but should get this patched up. Doesn’t look deep enough to need stitches or anything.”
“A-Ari? The moose girl?” Jonas brightened up a little, offering a shy smile, “It’s-It’s nice to meet you, wish it was just for the tour first though. Uh let’s go this way, my shop isn’t very far.” He passed by her once she agreed to be patched up, doing his best to avoid the body on the ground completely. He stopped to pick up his cardigan and his iced coffees. “Do you..Do you go there often to watch the soccer games?” His words were still a little shaky and he wasn’t sure what was gonna happen with the creature on the sidewalk but he figured getting Ari patched up first was more important than wondering about that. He didn’t know what kind of things could have been on that creature’s claws. The sooner the cuts were disinfected the better in his opinion. “If-if you like you can watch it in my apartment. It’s just above the shop if you go up the stairs. Might be better to patch you up there too, it's much cleaner than the workshop.” His hands were messing with his cardigan, rubbing over the soft material of the sleeve. He guided them down the street and in between two buildings to a gate locking off the steps. He fumbled with his pockets to fish out his keys.
“You know, that’s a new one, but I’ll take it. Yes, the one who was talking about mooses, “Ari answered with a laugh that allowed her to relax a bit, “Good to meet you, too. For sure would have been a better meeting, but guess this is how the cookie crumbles.” She picked up her forgotten backpack and slung it over her shoulder. “Fairly yeah, they’ve got good fish and chips too.” Despite the anxiety that was still dissipating, she kept her own voice level. Appearing calm in the face of crisis was a skill she wished hadn’t been necessary to develop. Normally she didn’t mind, but she’d been so tired lately it was hard not to feel a little bitter about it. She followed alongside Jonas at an easy pace. The offer to watch a match there made her smile. “Oh, tha- appreciate that. That’d be nice. I can order us a pizza or something? I’m excited to see the shop, too,” she responded with a smile. It was better than her original plan, that was for sure. She looked up at the building with wide eyes. Jonas seemed so young, to start up something like this in a whole new town was pretty impressive. “Looks pretty nice from the outside,” she commented, “You found a good location.”
“We’ll have to-have to go there as part of the tour.” Jonas opened the gate and stepped in, holding it for Ari, “Oh um if we’re ordering pizza I’ll just uh just put something to keep the gate open for them.” He meandered past her towards a loose rock that he’d used before to make the job easier for the delivery person. “Thank you, my dad helped me pick. He um pretty much raised me to do this.” He slipped the rock in the gate and led the way upstairs. “I call him a lot. He uh helps to make sure I’m running it correctly.” Pulling out yet another key, jostling the small cat keychain dangling from the key ring, he opened the door. “Have a seat on the couch. I'll get the first aid kit from the bathroom.” He passed through the living room, which was most of the house, to the only other door in the apartment. “Feel free to turn on the t.v.!” He called as he moved around the bathroom. “The remote should be on the coffee table!”
“You got it,” Ari answered with an easy smile. With some distance between them and the weird winged creature had allowed some of the tension she was carrying to ease up to a more normal level. She watched as he put a rock in the gate to keep it open. “Good call,” she nodded before following him back toward his shop. She listened as Jonas explained that his dad helped him pick the place out and felt a sad twinge that she ignored. It was hard not to feel a little bit jealous. She loved the adults in her life, but they were about as disastrous as she was. “That’s nice,” she replied calmly, “I take it you two are close then? Sure that makes tackling owning a business easier.” And life. She took a seat on the couch and took a moment to just sink into the cushions. Getting comfortable seemed to just remind her she couldn’t sleep these days, so she grabbed the remote from the TV to find a game. On the guide channel, she saw France was playing Denmark and quickly switched to that. If the USWNT wasn’t playing, she usually like to root for Olympique Lyonnais or France since Kaden would root for her team if his wasn’t playing. She opted to take her torn jacket off to make cleaning the wounds easier. They’d heal pretty quickly with the full moon close at least. Once Jonas returned, she asked, “So, you don’t seem totally shocked by some sort of fae monster… shaken, but not shocked. You run into anything like this before?”
Jonas returned from the bathroom, a large first aid kit in his hands. “Um well I suppose we are. I call often enough, about once a week. It definitely makes it easier. I can always run things by him if I’m not sure about it. He’s not much of a talker though.” He knelt in front of her, popping open the case and pulling out a few things. “This might sting.” He mumbled and rubbed the wounds as gently as he could with an antiseptic wipe. “I uh well….” He hesitated, not sure how to breach that topic. He had met a fae before but Teagan ws much friendlier than whatever attacked them and looked a lot better too. Then there were the nightmares and the ghost in those looked closer to the monster in the street in its twisted human features. “I suppose I have. But not exactly… exactly like this. It seems like you have though, with how you handled it.” He waited for the spot to dry before placing on some cotton pads and wrapping it in gause. “If you want I can try to fix your jacket. I um often mend the clothes on dolls. Sometimes I have to-have to make a whole new dress for them.” Pleased with his handiwork, he closed his kit and got up to toss away the little packet the wipe had come in.
The part of his father not being much of a talker immediately made Ari think of Kaden. Even if he wasn’t the most chatty, it was nice knowing you had that support. She hoped it was for Jonas at least. Moving across the country had to be one hell of a change. To go from stability to change had to be disorienting. “Huh,” she mused, “It’s good you have someone you can go to for advice at least.” She braced herself for the familiar sting that had actually become somewhat soothing. As long as she didn’t have to give herself stitches she’d call it a win. She listened closely as Jonas explained how he was familiar with this sort of thing, which was really more of a nonanswer, but she could accept that. If this was all new to him, it was kind of a lot. She nodded before she answered in return. “Well, I’ve never seen that exact kind of fae before,” she started, “But I’ve seen a lot of other stuff. Am some of the other stuff, actually. I’m always kind of prepared for this kind of thing though.” When Jonas offered to fix her jacket, she smiled. That was really nice of him, she’d already figured she’d be parting ways with the thing. It was a thrift store find, but not having to find another was better. She caught a glimpse of France making a goal before she responded, “I mean, if you don’t mind, that’d be great. If you ever need any help with woodwork, I’m pretty decent at it even if I did drop out.” She scanned her arm once he was finished. “Thanks,” she smiled, “It’ll be good as new in no time, definitely before our tour and Moose Adventure.”
“Oh always good to be prepared.” Jonas smiled back, “It might not look as nice as before but I’ll try. You can do woodworking?” He perked up at that, “I can always use help there. I am-I am average at best, much better at painting.”  Work topics always seemed to make talking easier for the young man. “I mean I’m glad your arm will be just fine in time for adventures with moose. But the fact that you can woodwork is quite excellent. Do you happen to be looking for a job?” He picked up the first aid kit and quickly walked it back to the bathroom, “Oh yes feel free to order the pizza and where are my manners, would you like something to drink? I have tea, juice, iced coffee or filtered tap water.” He shuffled back out and made his way over to the fridge, “But even if you’re not looking for a job I am willing to pay you for any amount of work you do for the store. We-we should exchange phone numbers.”
“Yeah,” Ari agreed somewhat wistfully, “Oh, I’m not too picky. Most of my clothes are from thrift stores anyway. And yeah, got into it as a kid. Then I watched a lot of tutorials, took shop, and all that.” She kind of missed spending most of her days with lumber and power tools, but the work she did now felt important, like she was adding some good back into the world that so desperately needed it. “I’m pretty good at woodwork. Didn’t stick around long enough for carpentry school, but everything still stuck.” She laughed a bit, her arm would probably be fine within a few days given she healed pretty quickly and the claws weren’t deep enough to require stitches. A smile grew on her face at the mention of drinks. “Oh, don’t worry about it. I’ll put an order in through the app, but water would be good.” She shook her head at the mention of pay when she probably really shouldn’t have. “Oh, don’t worry about that. It’s more a hobby for me than anything anyway, but we can totally exchange numbers!” Ari pulled up the contact screen on her phone so Jonas could add his number when he got back to the couch. “I wouldn’t even know what to charge anyway.”
Jonas grabbed a glass from his cupboard and filled it with water. He set it in front of her on the coffee table before taking her phone and filling out his info. “Normally you’d charge a rate per hour + the amount of materials you used. We can um always discuss it later.” He paused, stopping himself from sitting down as he looked back towards the door, “Um Is the uh body going to be there when the delivery guy drives by? What-what is the protocol for this? Do we just leave it out there? Will it disappear on it’s own or? I’ve never um never-never really done this kind of thing before.” his hands went to rub down his pants as he stood there staring at the door. Really he would love not to have to go out there again but he also didn’t want the pizza guy to see it and get bothered. He looked down at Ari, “What do we do?”
“Oh, yeah, the price of materials would make sense,” Ari agreed, “We’ll work it out, yeah. I don’t really have a lot in the way of bills. Live on a farm my friend built and he’s away traveling most of the time. Usually comes back for planting and harvesting seasons for a bit.” She took care of the plants meticulously while Ulf was away, it all worked out or something. She gave Jonas a puzzled look when he mentioned the body. She never really thought much of it with how much stuff people wrote off as nothing in White Crest. “Oh,” she responded with a shrug, “Animal Control usually picks that stuff up eventually. People just assume weird animals and go on about their day unless they know better. That thing was pretty small and had wings so the delivery guy will probably assume it’s an animal, but we could move it if you want?” She didn’t particularly want to, but she would if it made Jonas more comfortable. “I could always shoot my friend at Animal Control a text and ask?”
“Oh, no it’s probably best we-best we leave it then.” Jonas would follow her lead on this since this was his first time coming across this situation. “It might be best to send them a text, then they at least know it’s there.” He felt a little bit better with that settled, sending her friend a text would save him from having to go back down there to move the body. Just as he was going to sit down for a second time his brain finally remembered he left the coffees in the bathroom. “Oh um excuse me I forgot something.” Jonas made his way past the couch toward the other door. He grabbed the bag, opting to leave his cardigan on the bathroom floor, he could pick it up later, but finally made his way back over to Ari. He sat down on the couch, pulling out the two bottles and setting them on the table. “So-so you live on a farm? Do you have any animals there? Or is it all plants?” His foot was tapping a bit but he seemed less nervous than before. “Oh um who are we rooting for?” He normally watched tennis or swimming events, but he knew enough about soccer to follow along.
“Oh, that’s a good idea,” Ari agreed as she pulled her phone out of her pocket. Since Kaden wasn’t working, she went for sending the department an email. She hoped that Kaden would be back to work soon, but at the very least he was getting out of his apartment a little bit more. When Jonas had to grab something she simply nodded and let her eyes settle on the television screen. France was playing well today and it brought a small smile to her face as they made a goal. When Jonas returned, there were two bottles on the table. She caught herself before thanking him and said, “Appreciate it.” It was 50/50 whether she remembered to not use the word “thanks” but she was getting better. At the mention of the farm, she wore an easy grin. “Yeah, I currently have it all to myself most of the time,” she explained, “My… uncle owns it. He travels a lot but always comes back for planting and harvesting season. I take care of it while he’s away.” Friend felt like an odd way to describe Ulf, it didn’t cover the role he played in her life, so uncle worked. He was family, it didn’t really matter the name of the role. “So it’s mostly plants, but there’s some barn cats, chickens, and random local birds. My friend and I are gonna plant a pollinator garden too. Plus, I have two dogs and a weasel. So not farm animals, but still a lot of animals.”
The presence of all the animals was what made the farm bearable to live in when Ulf was away. Ari had never been much good at being alone. She wasn’t sure if it was a wolf being a pack animal thing or more based on her own thoughts being too dark to run free. As France stole the ball away from Denmark. She let out a hushed, “Yes!” She turned to Jonas and explained, “Oh, rooting for France! If USWNT was playing, I’d root for them always, but my sister’s best friend is from France. If Lyon is playing, I’ll usually root for them, too. You familiar with the game at all?”
As the commercials flashed on the screen, she asked, “So, since we obviously know this town isn’t normal, I gotta know… are any of the antiques that come through here out of the ordinary?”
“That sounds lovely. You’re surrounded by-by lots of furry friends.” Jonas himself was thinking about getting a pet for the store and to keep him company. “A weasel? I’ve heard of-heard of ferrets as pets but not weasels. Is it like owning a ferret?” He heard ferrets give off a weird smell and that some people kept them in outdoor pens because of it. He didn’t know if weasels also gave off the weird odor ferrets did and was genuinely a little curious. “Oh I um know the rules, not so much the teams.” He grabbed his bottle of iced coffee and opened it, leaning back to get more comfortable as he sipped on his drink. He spluttered a little bit at the question.
Jonas let out a bit of a cough. “Out of the ordinary?” He wasn’t sure why he was so shocked at someone just brazenly asking about the supernatural bits of town, they had just taken down one of those bits moments before. Maybe it was because it happened to eb a taboo subject back home, but he paused for a moment to think. “Well there was a haunted doll in the shop. But she’s gone to a new home now. One that I think- I think suits her very well. Other than that, no. None so far. Should I let you know if there are?”
“I do really enjoy having them around. Livens the place up,” Ari said with a fond smile as she thought of all the animals, “I think so? I mostly bought ferret stuff for it and Noodle seems happy. I give him a lot of veggies and stuff too. Never actually had a pet ferret before to compare to. Honestly, I don’t think it’s a normal weasel, I found him in my trash can and just kinda vibed. He’s a sweet little dude. Likes to lay around my neck like a scarf and play with my locket.” Her hand absentmindedly reached for the locket in question and toyed with the gold heart. Somehow, without meaning to, she’d ended up in the little farm of her dreams, it just happened to be mostly alone. Her hand wrapped around the heart that held a picture of Celeste and tried not to dwell too much on the big part of her dream that was missing. “Oh, the USWNT is the US Women’s National Team. They’re totally kick ass. They’ve won the last few world cups and gold at the Olympics. Plus, Megan Rapinoe is an actual gay icon”
Ari reached for her own bottle of coffee and tilted her in head with a confused puppy look on her face. Given what they had just seen out there, she didn’t think her question was all that surprising, but she knew she was more open than most. “A haunted doll,” she asked, more than a little bewildered. Why she was even questioning that such a thing existed was beyond her. “Not gonna lie, that sounds really fucking creepy, but glad she’s got a good home now? She didn’t give you any trouble or anything did she?”
“Noodle? That’s a very cute-very cute name! Do you have pictures?” Jonas scooted a little closer in case Ari did have pictures. “He sounds delightful.” He stopped scooting at the explanation of the teams, “Oh! I think I saw an article on them once. Something…Something about pay. But I will try to remember that if we watch soccer again. They sound very impressive.” He made a mental note to look Megan Rapinoe up.
“Oh she was very polite.” Jonas reassured the other. “She mostly read books and sat in her case. I called her Judy. She really liked books on plants and always picked them when I offered them.” He took another sip of his coffee. Really he had been creeped out by Judy as well at first but soon learned she was just really hanging out. Maybe she was grateful for him fixing her up and that’s what kept her peaceful, he didn’t really know and never asked. The one time he tried she could only produce giggles. The drawbacks of haunting a doll he guessed.
“I thought so too, he’s kinda long like a Noodle and I guess he likes the name? Don’t really know, but I have pictures and videos. He’s been on my TikTok a few times,” Ari answered as she pulled up some of the photos of the striped weasel on her phone. Once she found her favorite one of Noodle hanging out on her shoulder, she passed the phone over to Jonas so he could take a look. “There he is, really sweet little guy,” she beamed. She gave Jonas a moment to look over the photo before excitedly interjecting. “Oh, yeah. It’s totally awesome news actually. Despite the fact the women’s team performs better and gets more views, they were paid way less than the men’s team. Now they’re getting equal pay and back pay! So awesome to see women’s sports being treated fairly.”
A polite haunted doll. That was definitely a new one. Ari knew nothing was out of the realm of possibility, but just a kind, haunted doll chilling around was almost laughable. “Wait, really,” she asked, amazed, “That’s like so chill. Definitely not what I was thinking when you mentioned a haunted doll. She sipped on her own coffee and pondered the whole doll thing more. “She’s got good taste though. I’m not a fan of reading, but plants are awesome. Been researching them a little more so I don’t kill Ulf’s plants while he’s away.”
“Ah he’s cute!”Jonas smiled and looked at the thing that kind of looked like a weasel, he wasn’t one to judge besides Noodle was adorable and from what Ari said was friendly. He returned her phone and nodded along to what she was saying about the soccer team. “That’s good for them, they deserve it.”
Jonas shook his head, “I have never been able to-able to keep a plant alive. No matter how much research I do.” It was like plants just gave up on life the moment he got them. He could follow the instructions to a T and still the plants would refuse to thrive. Thankfully his pets on the other hand did much better. He never had one die that wasn’t from old age. “I suspect they don’t like me much.” He muttered out more to himself.
“Yeah, he is, isn’t he,” Ari agreed with a smile. It was part of why she had ended up keeping him in the first place. It had its charm and seemed to like hanging around her nicer jewelry which incidentally meant she had a little weasel scarf most of the time. Or weasel-like anyway. She wasn’t entirely sure what it actually was, but it was docile. She nodded enthusiastically, “They so do. They’re one of the best teams out there and have really like uplifted local women’s pro teams as a whole.”
“Oh, it’s not easy,” Ari explained, “It’s hard to tell what they need half the time since they can’t communicate. I try to go by the feel of the soil, it should never be dry, but you don’t want to drown them either. Especially potted plants. But maybe like an air plant or succulent or something if you really want a little green around.” She shook her head, “I doubt that’s it.”
Jonas paused to think a moment, “ If you would like we could go-could go shopping for one as part of the tour. A little cactus. For the kitchen window maybe. I wouldn’t want something more-more complicated than that.” He looked over at the kitchen and the small window that offered a view to the street. The only other window was above his bed and he didn’t want a plant there in case he happened to knock it over during one of his nightly walks, or if he got a cat and it decided the plant didn’t need to be up there and happened to smack it on his head. He didn’t want to damage something his new friend would help him pick out. It was strange really how Jonas seemed to be making friends in the weirdest of ways. First there was Teagan who appeared as a ghost and came back to life, then Cass who sold him a watch and ended up working for him. He wasn’t sure if he should count Nora but that was definitely an awkward encounter. Now Ari who was sitting on his couch and drinking coffee with him after beating up some fae creature, this town sure was eccentric. He was losing all hope of actually resetting and having another attempt at a normal life. But maybe that was okay if he kept making friends like these.

where do you hide in a town so small, one where you'd find a familiar face in every nook and cranny?
where do you go when you want to run away, to a place where no one knows your name, and all the weight that comes with it?
for most, a flight out of town is the obvious answer. it's why he escapes to europe whenever mugunghwa feels a little too constrained; a little too suffocating. he can't, however, get on the plane whenever he wanted to—not with the new semester starting and all the responsibilities that came his way.
lucky for him, he's found an escape within the borders of mugunghwa, close enough to reach by foot, but far enough from his people—the rich, the privileged, the selfish—to never be found when he wants to hide.
largely disparate from the clean, polished neighbourhoods he and his circle of friends grew up in, this neighbourhood did not boast opulent mansions lined up in neat, perfect rows, much like the people living in them. instead, modest houses were scattered around the quaint neighbourhood.
it got relatively dark at night, with some lights out of order, others flickering, threatening to go out any moment now—unlike the brightly lit neighbourhood his family home was situated in, frequently maintained and upkept in tip-top condition, almost as if it was intentional, to deter the burglars eyeing the fancy mansions and their treasures kept within.
point is, you wouldn't think of finding nam minjun in a neighbourhood like this. not at the humble restaurant he's grown to love and frequent—where he had met her—nor this tiny convenience store tucked away into a quiet corner of the neighbourhood—where he was headed to, to find her.
he's never asked for her name—never had to. he sees it on her name tag every time she's working at the store, yet never had to use it. she knows whenever he's talking to her, because no one else would be around. it would be late at night, with the occasional customer popping by to get a late night snack or two, otherwise, it would just be them, alone, in their safe little bubble.
that's what she, her restaurant, and the convenience store, all meant to him—an escape. a place he could be himself, not nam minjun, or all that his name entails. he knew nothing of her, and her of him, besides the thoughts and ideas that filled their minds, some of which they're too afraid to share outside the safety of whatever their relationship was: a late night reverie, an unlikely friend, a soulmate.
the familiar chime of the doorbell brings a faint smile to his lips as he pushes past the glass door of the convenience store, eyes meeting the girl behind the counter. the store's fluorescent lights are a stark contrast to the dim streets outside, another reason for his visit to the store at this time—to walk her home, and prolong whatever conversation they'll have tonight, of which he already knows he'll enjoy.

summary: you want to surprise your bestie, megumi upon his arrival home from college but things take a terrible turn.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
one.
heavy rain starts pouring as soon as you’ve reached the front doorstep of the fushiguro’s household. it was a dumb idea to not bring an umbrella with you despite the sky already starting to get dark when you left home earlier, but you were willing to push your luck and started sprinting once you felt prickles of droplets landing on your skin. with a stroke of luck, you managed to escape the heavy downpour from soaking your clothes.
drawing a deep and relieved sigh, you take a moment to regain control over your breathing before knocking the big front door. aware of the aftermath of the run, you fix your hair with your hands as you wait for megumi to come and greet you.
college made you and the male to part ways until phones were the only thing that kept you both up to date with each other’s lives. ironically enough, that’s the thing you forgot to bring when you left home in a rush and excitement to surprise your dear friend since he’s coming home today. you can vividly remember the last text you read; he was at the train station and you had to estimate the time of his arrival and the time he would be at home instead of asking him.
however, you’re caught slightly off guard when a different man opens the door for you instead. nonetheless, your lips curl to a sweet smile and there’s a brief of awkward silence before he speaks. you know him, but he doesn’t seem to remember you at all.
“you’re..?” with a tilt of his head, he looks down at you with a curious brow.
“it’s me, mr. fushiguro!” you offer your name, scrutinizing the expression on his face as his forehead crinkles while he jogs through his memories. then he glances at you and away in thought and back at you again with wide eyes when he finally recalls.
“oh, it’s you!” he ruffles your hair, a bit too enthusiastic in spite of his usual character that you were always familiar with. “i haven’t seen you in a while.”
you let out a little laugh, “yeah. i think i was fourteen the last time i saw you, mr. fushiguro. but it’s nice to see you again.”
“ah, yes. i had to go out of town and overseas for business a lot.” toji explains, rubbing the back of his neck, slightly bashful that he didn’t recognize the girl– no, woman before him even when you both have met plenty of times back when you often came to play with his son since you both were still little.
but can anyone blame him? time works wonders and now the little girl he used to know has grown to be much more mature and gorgeous and so... demure.
“yeah, megumi told me. speaking of him, is he home?” you finally inquire, bringing up the reason why you’re here in the first place.
two.
“why don’t you come in first? it’s cold outside.” he says before immediately turning around without answering your question. you close the door behind you and follow him closely, also somewhat intimidated when you realize how tall and huge he is– the tight fitting shirt stretches over his wide back and accentuating his physique even more. his arms are toned and popping with veins, not the way you used to remember at least, but you’ve never cared to notice. you’re not certain of his age either, but you’re pretty sure you’d be surprised if you find out.
“do you want coffee or tea?” toji suddenly breaks the silence as you nervously stand in the middle of the room to take a glimpse around the kitchen like it’s your first time being there, completely heedless over his gaze lingering up and down your curves, observing the figure of a girl who just freshly went through her womanhood and your lascivious beauty before he quickly turns around to grab two mugs from the cabinet.
“anything is fine.” you politely reply, fear of sounding somewhat demanding if you choose your preference despite being offered with choices.
“come on, you’re giving a man a hard time.” he jokes. “and sit down.”
he’s trying to extend his invitation though intentionally sounding assertive, but when he sees that you are quick to comply and scramble to your seat, he finds it to be... stimulating. at least he knows that you’re docile and he wonders if he could put it to the test. well, doesn’t matter. he will.
“coffee is good.” you smile, interrupting his train of thoughts and he pours the coffee from the pot before walking over to hand you your mug.
“unfortunately,” he sits down on the chair next to you. “megumi isn’t home right now.” toji puts his lips between the warm mug and softly blows before sipping his coffee. “he wanted to take a short trip to the store but i think he’s going to be stuck there for a while.” he looks out the window to only see pitch black staring back at him along with roaring thunder from the skies.
“oh.” you mutter, taking a careful sip of the hot brew. a little disappointed that you couldn’t see megumi yet, but his dad is right– it’s nearly a disaster outside but you find no point hanging around any longer either.
“is it too bitter? you don’t like it?” his voice laces with concern when he notices your face involuntarily scrunches up at the bitter taste.
you quickly shake your head, “no, no. it’s fine!” you reassure, afraid that he’ll take offense from the coffee he personally made. “besides, if megumi isn’t here, i–”
three.
“oh, it’s fine if you wait here for him.” he cuts you off. “unfortunately, we don’t have an extra umbrella.” the corners of his lips tug into a comforting smile and you are quick to relax into it.
you’ve always found toji to be quite frightening when you were young. he seemed like someone who never smiled, always had a sombre and intense vibe to him that no child would be too fond of.  there was no exchange of words between you two, except for your constant brief hello and a smile that you did out of courtesy whenever you bump into him inside his house, even though he never replied anything back. not even a crack on the lips to return the smile.
but today is different. probably because he finds it easier for him to talk to an adult than a child and you’re relieved that you’re able to humor him in some way.
“so, are you and megumi a thing?” he abruptly asks and glances at you as he sips his coffee.
“no, we’re not!” you titter, waving a hand in dismissal as you bring up the mug to hide your face from embarrassment.
“oh?” a glint of amusement and surprise shines in his green eyes. “are you sure?”
you blink at the question as heat warms your cheeks from the thought of dating your best friend. “yes, megumi and i are just friends. really.”
“why? because you have a boyfriend?” toji pries, uncaring if he sounds intrusive to you and you only assume that he’s trying to strike up a conversation in some old fashioned way.
you just shake your head and laugh, “it’s not that, either.”
“hmm,” he props his elbow on the table leisurely, head resting on his fist as he looks at you intently, as if in search of something. “you’re pretty hard to figure out.”
“what do you mean? i don’t think so.” you smile, bringing up the mug to cover your face again so you can shy away from his intense gaze yet he thinks that it’s endearing and he finds himself grinning unwillingly.
toji notices how you always try to look away when you get so shy over some simple questions. you’re just oozing with purity and innocence of a maiden and something dark and twisted inside him is craving to violate every part of it.
“for a start, i can’t figure out why you don’t have one.” he says, tapping his fingertips on the table as his mind is running with sinful thoughts.
“hmm, maybe because i haven’t found anyone interesting yet.” you finally lock your eyes with his as you answer, not wanting to come off as rude if you keep on talking without looking directly at the man.
“isn’t my son good for you?” he couldn’t care less to be honest; he only plans to test the waters and is even more aroused to learn that you’ve never been touched by a man before and he feels like a wolf that’s just ready to pounce on a lost, little lamb.
“oh, no, no!” why do you have to get so bashful? he’ll fuck you on this table if you don’t stop. “we just don’t see each other that way.”
he’s so lost in his thoughts and carnal desires that whatever you’re babbling seems to go in one ear and out the other.
“then, what do you think of me?” he asks nonchalantly with a smirk plastered across his face.
you blink at him once, twice. “uhh, what?” is he suddenly getting self-conscious?
“you heard me. what do you think of me?” yet he doesn’t seem like it either.
“umm,” you ponder for a moment as you think of every adjective you can find in your head that wouldn’t come out offensive if you’re going to be honest with him. why would he even ask you such a thing anyways? and why would it matter to him? there’s nothing nice about him that you could exactly pinpoint from the past except for ‘scary’, ‘serious’ and some other things revolving around those.
“i thought that you were kinda... scary?” you blurt unsurely, mentally slapping yourself for even daring to say such a thing to him. unless it’s a vibe that he was going for, then you’d be relieved.
it isn’t exactly what toji wants to hear but he laughs heartily, “really?” a shiver runs down your spine when he looks at you again, his eyes glimmering with daunt. “but are you still scared of me?”
“uh, no.” you laugh. “you’re actually really nice, mr. fushiguro.”
“oh, that makes me feel better.” another grin etches on his scarred lips as he draws his gaze to your hands that are tensing and fiddling with your sleeves and your leg is bouncing; a perfect depiction of a trembling lamb cornered in his den– and he’s fucking starving.
has he got you on edge? are you nervous? good. “but i think you should.”
a lump catches in your throat and your heart drops, “i- what?”
the chair emits a screeching sound and it stumbles backwards as toji abruptly stands up from his seat. sheer panic causes you to rise on your feet too, and your eyes dart to the chair, and the male, back and forth as your mind tries to get a grasp on the situation.
“mr. fushiguro..?” you whisper meekly, taking a step away and around the table as you notice him taking a careful yet threatening inch closer.
“no, no. i’m not gonna hurt you.” toji (barely) reassures you as he continues creeping on his feet. but the sinister smile on his lips takes out every last bit of faith you had in him and the loud voice in your head keeps telling you to run for the door and never look back– fuck the rain.
as if he can read through your thoughts, he warns. “but i will, if you run.”
the smile on toji’s face turns smug when he sees you freeze in place upon his threat. being trapped under the unpleasant situation triggers your fight or flight responses and rapid heartbeat drums in your ears as you stand in trance and trepidation.
“that’s a good girl.” he coos, taking another step forward before you decide to throw a mug at him and dash towards the door as fast as you can. you assume that toji has pushed the table to the floor when you hear a loud thud, followed by his hasty footsteps as he catches up quickly behind you.
the door that is finally within arm’s reach suddenly changes into a mirage when a strong pair of arms grabs you by the waist and your body floats as it lifts onto his shoulder. the huge contrast between the size of your body and his should let you know; no matter how much you try to resist, he will never budge. yet, your arms and legs still flail around in an attempt to punch and kick him and you’re screaming for him to let you down and just hope that anyone is able to hear your cries in spite of the thunderstorm.
well, so much for luck.
“ah, ah. you don’t wanna do that.” there’s a mocking and amusing tone in his voice as he advises you. “you should save that energy later. juuust in a bit.”
“mr. fushiguro– stop–!” you sob, watching your only escape slowly disappears out of sight when he turns to a corner and into a dark room. your body bounces onto a mattress before toji’s huge, ripped figure swiftly looms above yours and ties your hands together with a belt and onto the headboard. at this point, the illuminating lights through the windows are the only thing that aids your vision and you have to rely more on your senses.
“shh,” he shushes you with a finger against your trembling lips. “the neighbors will hear. and if they do, i want it to be because you’re getting fucked so good. so be a good little girl for daddy, okay?”
regardless of being terrified, you find yourself cringing over the nickname he refers to himself. hopefully, he won’t ask you to call him that either. “mr. fushiguro– i– please don’t do this. i- i won’t tell anyone.”
toji tsks, taking his sweet time to admire your smaller body underneath his– the exposed, soft skin on your neck waiting to be bruised, chest heaving as your breath comes deep and short, and legs pressing together to secure your modesty; though will prove to be futile later.
“i know you won’t.” his thumb grazes against your lips, mesmerized by its plushness as he imagines it wrapped prettily around his throbbing cock. “are you a virgin?”
you only nod your head, eyes wavering as you look at his darker ones before catching it shine with interest.
“never had anything inside here?” he asks again, pressing your cunt against the fabric of your pants with his fingers. the dark room makes it hard to see, but your cheeks are turning red from humiliation and you look away before shaking your head no.
“are you sure?” toji’s thumb presses down on your clit and causes your body to shudder apprehensively.
“o-only my finger.” you audibly whisper through the white noise outside.
oh, how exhilarating. guess the innocent looking ones can be lewd too. don’t you know that a cock would make you feel better? a big cock like his is definitely what you need. just a finger wouldn’t be enough to satisfy you! poor little thing.
“then i got to teach you a few things, right? it’ll come handy later. boys love girls with experiences.” he promptly strips you off from your pants before carelessly throws it to the ground and kneels between your legs to keep you wide and open for him.
“you like to be touched here?” his finger reaches down to ghost over your clothed clit, observing you with lust filled eyes while you turn away from his gaze and remain unresponsive. “daddy is a very impatient person so i suggest you answer me.”
toji pinches your clit, and your body squirms with an elicited yelp. you can only guess (and hope) that he wasn’t referring to him touching you there but you answer anyway, “y-yes.”
he hums in satisfaction, moving down until his head stops between your thighs and in front of your sex. toji grabs your thigh and spreads them apart before flattening his warm tongue against your clothed bud, causing a shiver to run down your spine and it quickly draws your attention to him.
your face heats up in embarrassment when you see toji’s head dipped in front of your pussy, but he’s only calm and teasing as his jade eyes stare up to lock with yours to look for a reaction.
“you’ve never felt a tongue over here either, hm?” he sneers, rubbing circles on your clit with his thumb and you mentally curse yourself for feeling slightly aroused over his ministrations.
“just let me go, please.” you try to close your legs, but to no avail when his rough hands push them away.
“you know, if you keep asking for ridiculous things,” toji tuts and grasps your supple thighs hard, nails digging painfully on your skin. “i might have to get rough on you. but you’re a smart girl and you wouldn’t like that, right?”
“n-no.” you choke and fidget.
“good. because i only want you to feel good.” he offers a gentle smile and kisses the dented mark on your thigh. “so, let’s start over. you haven’t answered me.”
you nibble your lip hesitantly and look anywhere but him, “no.”
“see? all the more reason for me to show you what you’ve been missing out.” he chuckles, tugging your underwear to the side impatiently.
“fuck. such a pretty pussy.” he growls at the sight of your bare cunt. there isn’t a lot of slick yet, but it’s fine, he’ll make you get there. that’s the point of this whole ordeal, right?
your body quivers naturally once you feel the foreign sensation; wet, warm muscle prodding your puffy folds up to your clit and circling on it with the tip of his tongue teasingly as he observes you from below.
your eyes are screwed shut and your lips are caught between your teeth as you try to restrict your whines from the undeniable pleasure rushing in your veins and he doesn’t stop– your pathetic attempt to deny him and your sentiments only drives him to push you over the edge even more.
with a harsh suck on your clit, he manages to get you to squeal and you can feel him smirking underneath you. toji flattens his tongue and laps off your juices again before he takes you by surprise when he suddenly slides a finger inside your tight, wet cunt.
“shh. it’ll feel good, baby girl.” he comforts when he hears you whimper at the pain inflicted and true enough, it soon begins to feel good. you’ve fingered yourself plenty of times before, but it feels different when he does it for you– his finger is thick and long that it reaches deeper than you’ve ever been able to.
toji notices you start to become quiet so he slides in another digit, eliciting yet another sob from you. the warm and moist cunny makes his cock twitch and he finds himself getting eager. your back arches from the bed when toji curls his fingers to stroke the bumpy tissues of your g-spot with every drag.
“feels good, yeah?” he grins arrogantly as your legs tremble under his hold. your breathing has turned erratic and your toes are curling as your mouth gapes in pitiful, broken cries that are just music to his ears.
“answer me, sweetheart.” he presses down a thumb on your neglected clit, reminding you that he is not keen on being ignored and disputed.
“y-yes.” you finally choke through pants and shame. though the answer comes out in hesitance, your body is more honest– pussy sopping and eliciting obscene squelches and it’s enough to satisfy him for now.
your head thrashes side to side as you feel yourself about to tip over but you still refuse to beg toji for a release.
“hah– fuck!” you whimper loudly when toji oh-so-generously sucks your clit again, fingers pumping faster inside your cunt, making your body feel even more tense with overbearing stimulation before finally pushing you over the edge and you break into a silent scream.
toji laps off your slick before he pulls out his finger into his mouth and licks them clean.
“that’s a good girl. why don’t you taste yourself?” he climbs on top of you while you gasp for air from the intense orgasm and he easily pulls you into a fervour, sloppy kiss. you can feel the wet slick on his chin and you can taste yourself at the same time as he intertwines his tongue with yours.
four.
out of spite and vexation, you found courage to bite his tongue hard and toji instantly pushes himself from you, his dark eyes express astonishment and agitation.
“fucking bitch.” he curses as his eyes narrow at you displeasingly before he takes off his pants and briefs to release his cock from its confinements. his cock is throbbing and thick, and you can almost see a trickle of precum on its head. you crumple at the sight as regret and anxiety washes over you.
“don’t worry, it’ll fit.” he says cockily upon the worrisome look on your face. “but since you like it rough, i’m sure you want to choke on it first.”
“no– i’m sorry!” you shake your head but toji only lets out a scornful laugh as he disregards your pleas and props himself on the knees and over your neck.
toji slaps the tip of his cock on your lips, gesturing you to open your mouth but you purse them into a flat, thin line and refuse to obey.
“open up. it’s a part of your lesson after all.” he snaps before squeezing your cheeks together. “it’ll get worse if you don’t listen to me.”
“d-don’t wa-ant to– flea-shh.” you whimper and toji emits a long, deep sigh as he releases his grip.
“i don’t like repeating myself.” his voice is laced with malice and chills crawls up your spine as his eyes look down at you demeaningly before you slowly open your mouth trepidatiously and wait for his next order.
“no teeth. i think you’d know that much.” he patronizes before sliding his cock inside your mouth and he hisses as the warmth engulfs his throbbing cock. “that’s it. now, suck.”
and you have no choice but to obey submissively. you slightly lift your head and struggle to take his length as much as you can before running your tongue around to feel each prominent vein.
“i said suck, whore.” he commands through gritted teeth. you hollow your cheeks, compressing his fat cock tight between them as you bop your head up and down.
“fuuuck, just like that.” toji groans as his hand reaches the top of your head and caresses you softly. you start to pick up the pace, slobbering his dick with so much saliva that it begins to seep from the corners of your mouth and it’s so wet and obscene– just the way he likes it.
“it almost makes me think that this isn’t your first time.” his head falls back and hips begin to jerk until the tip hits the back of your throat, forcing you to take more than you could. you choke as tears start to well up in your eyes and the bedhead shakes when you try to tug your wrists.
“what’s wrong? can’t take my fat cock?” he scoffs arrogantly. “you gotta work on your gag reflex, sweetheart.”
the muffles from your throat vibrate against his dick and toji groans in pleasure that he subconsciously rocks his hips, slapping your chin with his balls. your vision has become blurry and breathing becomes harder as you let him abuse your throat and your jaws ache before he abruptly pulls out and you can finally gasp for precious air.
“look at you,” his cock twitches with excitement when he sees the tears rolling down your cheeks from your doe eyes and he wipes them away with his thumb, making you flinch slightly, “are you sorry for making daddy mad?”
toji always tries to articulate each word with appease. it’s never soothing per se when you can sense the threat entwining in his voice and it’s fucking you psychologically.
and it deems to be successful when you’re already trembling in fear underneath him.
you’re uncertain whether he prefers you to speak or not, but your throat is sore so you meekly nod your head in response. it’s better than nothing, to be honest.
“good. open your mouth.”
your mouth is already parted for air but you assume that he wants to put his cock in again. submissively, yet dreadfully, you open your mouth wider and await for him to shove his cock back in but you’re surprised when toji spits in your mouth instead.
it’s warm and disgusting; you’re just left gaping and repelled, and you want to spit it out but toji squeezes your cheeks together.
“swallow.” he orders. you quickly brace yourself and close your eyes before cringing as you gulp down the mix of saliva in your mouth and toji releases his grip once he’s certain that you’ve ingested.
“i could’ve made you swallow my cum but i’d feel bad,” he chuckles sardonically. “what do you have to say?”
“t-thank you.” you whisper vaguely and he accustoms his face to a simper.
“good girl.” toji smashes his lips onto yours, yet his eyes are locked with yours ominously for a brief second– a telltale that he expects you not to pull up another stunt before they close as he deepens the kiss.
obviously, nothing would benefit you whether you comply or defy, not until you’ve catered for his insatiable lechery. but you’ve learned your lesson and although you’re compelled, you finally relent as every ounce of resistance begins to drift from you.
toji breaks the kiss and shifts lower, peppering greedy kisses on your neck before he catches the soft, chaste skin between his teeth to suck and form purplish bruising marks. he lifts up your shirt over your head and hastily unclasps your bra, causing you to shudder once the cold air hits your exposed breasts.
large, calloused hands press your mounds before his mouth latches on one perky tit, while the other is tweaked with his fingers. experienced tongue draws circles and sucks punishingly, alternating with the other nipple. the headboard rattles as you keen over the stimulation and your eyes open in dismay when you feel something hard prodding your clit.
he moves lower and spits on your cunt before propping on his knees to take off his tight shirt– through subdued glow, you can make out the outline of his toned abs and broad chest as his large build towers menacingly in front of you; even when he’s not standing on his feet.
“listen. daddy is going to release the binds, but do you promise to be good?” he asks, smearing the saliva with his cockhead and against your slit.
“yes. i- i promise.” you murmur appallingly; as if you have a choice in the matter.
toji leans over to unrestrain you then he observes you, expecting you to put up a fight but instead, you just remain still underneath him.
he grins in satisfaction, getting off to the fact that you’ve fallen into submission before he shifts back into his prior position and bends your knees up to line his cock with your hole. a feeling of triumph stirs inside him when he’s reminded that he’s the ‘chosen’ one to defile your innocence.
“stop! it hurts–!” you wail and your hands clench the sheets when you feel toji’s thick cock stretching your virgin cunt slowly, but he ignores you, groaning at the warmth that engulfs him and the tight walls that clenches him as he selfishly pushes through.
it burns. so bad. your chest heaves rapidly and you screw your eyes shut as your face twists to express pain and uncomfort. “please, please–! i can’t–”
“yes, you can.” his tone is indifferent as he holds you down since your body keeps on wincing until he finally fills you to the brim and he can see a bulge poking on your tummy.
“fuck. haven’t been inside a virgin cunt for a while.” he mutters under his breath. “now, i know it hurts but i promise you’ll enjoy it. it’s just too bad that you get to have a big cock as your first.” he snickers nonchalantly and leans down closer to your face, making you jolt when you feel it inching deeper.
“if it makes you feel better– you’re fucking tight. just the way daddy likes it.” toji whispers in your ear but you can only freeze in fear and agony.
toji hovers above you, his hands firmly grip the headboard in front of him and he begins to move his hips; thrusting in and out of your pussy.
your fists clench the sheets harder as a loud cry rips from your throat, “no! it hurts! please!”
but toji doesn’t seem to mind, his cyan orbs stare down at you coldly yet in focus as he relishes over the plush walls clamping down on his cock.
“stop! stop– i- i don’t want–!” you continuously wail as you writhe in anguish before he suddenly stops pounding and he wraps his hand around your neck instead, instantly drawing your attention to him as he applies pressure in his hold.
“if you don’t stop whining like a bitch in heat, i will fucking breed you like one.” he warns through gritted teeth, clearly agitated over your act of defiance.
“you want this. you’re going to love this.” his words are sick endeavours to coerce you into another round of complete submission.
but what else can you do? toji’s hand is so large that his middle finger and thumb almost reach each other as it clasps around your frail neck and you know he can easily crush your windpipes if he wants to.
“say it. you. want. this.” he seethes.
“i. want. this.” you barely croak each word and they’re slowly influencing your cloudy mind. as soon as he releases you, you soothe the pain around your throat with your hand as you gasp for air.
“fuck. don’t think i didn’t feel you clenching around my cock just now.” he sneers and situates himself again before ruthlessly and steadily continuing where he left off.
you only close your eyes and bite your lips hard to stop whimpering as you mentally comfort yourself and dissolve every inch of your sanity; i’m going to enjoy it, it’s going to feel good soon, i want this, i want this.
soon enough, toji notices that your muscles have relaxed– suggesting that you’ve finally caved in as pleasure overtakes you so he fucks you deeper and faster before he falls on his elbows and you can feel his bangs tickling your face.
“that’s it, baby. you make daddy feel so fucking good.” he praises between grunts. you can feel the veins on his cock dragging against your walls and he’s right, it feels so good and your lips open in breathless pants.
you find your arms to loosely wrap around his neck and your legs around his waist as if clinging onto him for dear life as toji ruts into your cunny like a feral beast.
“you like it, yeah? this is what you want, isn’t it?”
through hazy mind, you can only manage to whimper an audible ‘yes’ as you feel an odd, yet almost familiar knot twisting in your lower stomach begging to snap and your nails dig into the skin of his broad back upon the intense sensation shooting through your body.
a low, deep guttural sound leaves his throat when he feels your nails sinking and scratching his back– it prompts him to quicken his pace and you can feel the tip of his cock kissing your cervix over and over, causing your back to arch simultaneously.
“i’m– i’m gonna–!” you keen as your body trembles in anticipation and your sopping cunt is clenching on his throbbing cock like a vice.
“fuck yeah. cum on daddy’s cock.” toji urges and nips on the sensitive skin of your neck to tip you over the edge and your pupils blow wide as you break into a scream. despite being your second orgasm for the night, an overwhelming euphoria washes over you for the first time of your life; is this what it feels like? you don’t know, you’ve never had one (at least not from a cock) and your pussy is just fluttering, pulsing and creaming around his cock.
“hah– fuck. good girl.”
toji remains to snap his hips, fucking you through your high as you’re left in daze from your orgasm. toji can feel his balls tensing and his thrusts are turning sporadic as he inches closer to his climax. your whines and nonsense babbles are drowned by the feeling of pleasure that’s enveloping him and he doesn’t even have the resolution to listen to you gibbering when your cunny is just milking him, sucking him in like it doesn’t want to let go and he just wants to give what your greedy pussy asks for; to fill it up with his thick load until it’s full and leaking out of you.
and daddy knows best, after all.
“shit– i won’t be able to hold it any longer. say you want daddy’s cum.” he grunts.
you’ve partly snapped out of your daze when you hear his voice again, and though you can’t see his face that’s already buried next to your head, you’re petrified and it’s making you feel dizzy and suffocated.
“i– n-no. please not–” you sob through your raw throat.
but toji doesn’t listen and you don’t know if you’re relieved or not because if he does, you know that it’ll tick him off and it’s going to do you more harm than good– but you’re scared and it hurts, that you unwillingly start to snivel again.
“shut up. you’re gonna take it like a good cumslut.” he shoves two long fingers in your mouth, causing you to choke on them.
“daddy’s gonna cum in this pretty pussy and you’re gonna fucking take it.”
toji’s grunts ring in your ears and you’re able to feel his cock twitching inside you before he finally releases hot ropes of cum– filling up and defiling your womb.
“y-you came inside..” you mumble once he takes out his fingers as you’re left entirely devastated and stupefied.
“fucking did.” he pants, lifting his body up from you and pulls out his cock to shove back the dribbling cum that’s leaking from your abused cunny with his finger. you would wince but your mind is already numb and your body is sore that you can do nothing but burn holes through the ceiling above.
“don’t look so sad.” the room resonates with his chuckles and he gets off the bed to put back on his pants. toji walks over to the nightstand where a pack of cigarettes await him and he puts one between his lips and you can hear the flicking sounds of a lighter as he tries to burn the tip.
“i can promise you that other guys wouldn’t be rough as me but one thing’s for sure,” he inhales the tobacco and exhales in a gratifying manner, “that will stay as the best fuck of your life.”
fat tears stream down your cheeks and you curl on your side, protecting your now-ruined-body as you quietly sob and your mind takes you back from how the ordeal even started and causes you to end up where you are right now– and it only makes you cry harder.
toji only lets out an exasperated sigh. he grabs his shirt from the floor and throws it on his shoulder before reaching the door.
“megumi won’t be coming home ‘til tomorrow. he said something about the train and the weather, so you can leave when you’re done. you know your way out.”
you hear the door close shut behind him and you’re left in the dark with nothing but the smell of his tobacco and the sounds of the drizzling rain accompanying you as you drown in your thoughts and griefs.
how many mistakes have you made today? four? five? or more?
you’ve lost count and you question yourself over again until you’re no longer able to care.
what’s done is done.

Sweet (lil smut)
Tumblr media
Request: hi! i really enjoy your writing! would you maybe consider doing smthg where bucky’s homeless (like civil war era) and he becomes obsessed with kind!reader? thank youuuu!!
Here you go :-) a tiny bit of smut nothing too major
Bucky woke up to the sound of his little furry friend Alpine meowing at him and rubbing her body onto his face. She was like his personal alarm clock, but it was more for her. She always wanted to be fed at the same time each day. He groaned and sat up rubbing his tired face hoping it would help him feel more awake. “Goodmorning Alpine” he said in a tired hoarse tone, running his fingers through her fur. After a few minutes passed he got up from his mattress and went to feed Alpine and started to get dressed himself while she ate. It was that time of the week where he had to restock and get some more supplies for next week. After the whole bombing ordeal in Vienna, Bucky had to lay low and for obvious reasons stay off the grid. No one was going to believe that this was not him. Some crazy ass used his face to blame it on him and he had to flee from his previous home, only taking Alpine.
It was incredibly dangerous for him out there, specially since someone is obviously trying to get to him, but he had no other choice. He broke into an abandoned apartment complex that was said to be haunted. He honestly didn’t believe in any of that stuff and it was a plus that it was considered a haunted location. That meant people would stay far far away from it. He put on his gloves, red shirt, jacket, pants, and hat which was his new outfit that he found in someone's backyard. They were hanging out to dry so he acted quick and snatched them up. He didn’t have much of a variety but this one seemed to not catch any attention from anyone as it was a pretty basic outfit. He eventually got into town and started his regular hits. He would go to the stores and steal smaller items that he needed, most of the time it was hygiene stuff or anything he needed that could fit in his pockets. For the bigger items he would break into peoples houses and take food most of the time. Just anything and everything he could physically take.
His life was not very interesting, but that was about to change. That’s when he met you. He got goosebumps as soon as he saw you, as if you were made by God himself. Everything he wanted in a woman you had. The perfect smile, perfect hair, perfect voice, perfect body. Literally everything he could have ever wanted. He was so lost in you, he just kept staring at you all mesmerized and felt his heart swell up. For the first time in a long time, he finally left like something belonged to him and that was you. As he started to recollect himself he realized that you were helping a homeless old man. You brought him some blankets, food, and water making his eyes tear up a little, from your kindness. As you started to walk off he started to follow you. He wasnt much of a religious person but he found himself praying that you didnt get into a cab as he would not be able to track you.
He followed you for about 15 minutes and you finally walked into a bakery. I wonder if she's going to buy bread he asked. He sat down at a bench across the street and waited till you came out. About 45 minutes passed and still nothing. He started to feel his stomach turn and he pondered the question, what if she got out and i didnt even notice..thats impossible all I did was blink , she couldnt have left in that short amount of time…..what if she used a back door...what if i never see her again... He started to feel the frustration start to bubble up inside of him. He finally had enough and got up walking towards the bakery and passed by slowly. He instantly spotted you in the huge crowd of people. Looking all stressed and all over the place taking peoples orders. You looked so adorable. He smiled as he turned the corner already fantasizing about you and how much he wanted to have you in his arms making you feel cared for and loved. Knowing where you worked was a big step in the right direction for Bucky. He was that much closer to getting to you.
Later that night he decided to go back to the bakery when it was close to closing, he needed to scope the place out. The original plan was to make sure it didnt have cameras and if it did, he had to find a way to disable them. If it didnt then he would break in  to go through any files or anything that could contain your address, that way he could locate you easily. He waited until there were no customers, coworkers, no one. He needed to have you alone.. About an hour had passed and the last customer had finally left, its was time to make his move. He walked in, a little bell ringing alarming you that a customer had entered, making your head perk up from the counter.
“hello! Welcome in! Coming in to try our delicious freshly baked cookies?” you asked chirply.  Bucky smiled as your sweet voice filled his ears, needing you to continue. “Unfortunately not my dear. I actually came in to ask if you guys give out free water cups” he asked as he eyed the shop for cameras. As he made his way towards you, you reached down to pull out an extra water bottle that you had brought from home. “Hmm not exactly a water cup but I hope this might be better” you smiled and shook the bottle. You noticed how much a strong looking man he was and how his clothes were a bit worn out. You wondered if he could be homeless but you werent exactly sure due to how built he was. He has to be eating right and working out im sure you thought to yourself as your eyes focused a little too long on his body, examining him from head to toe. “That would be perfect, thank you so much. Its hard to get by out there. Specially when you dont have a have a home” he casually said giving you a half smile. Oh you KNEW it! “Im so sorry...have you had anything to eat? I can pass you some pastries if you would like. It’s not much but I hope it can help“ you offered hoping he would say yes. Buckys heart throbbed at your sweet kindness, no one would ever do that these days, specially at food establishments. “You...you would do that for someone like me?” he asked in shock. Your warm smile spread on your soft lips. “Of course I would! This world is very unforgiving and cruel and if I can offset even a tiny bit of that, I will!” you stated as you started to grab some yummy treats.
“what is your name, sir?” He froze. Not knowing if he should expose himself or keep it a secret. But shes so sweet, she wouldnt rat me out...She probably doesnt even know whats going on....but what if she does...everyone knows.... his mind was plagued by worry but he was going to take huge leap of faith for you. “Bucky...how about yours?” he asked as he looked you up and down his eyes undressing you while you were turned getting his food. His jeans starting to feel a little tight but he needed to control himself in order to not fuck this up. He couldn’t be messing up on your guys’ first meeting. “My name is y/n..nice to meet you Bucky”. You gave him the bag and reached your arm over to shake his hand. He took off his glove and extended his hand to shake it and proceeded to pull your hand up to his lips and planted a soft kiss on the top of your hand, “Pleasure is mine, Doll”. You couldn't help but feel little butterfly's in your tummy. He was an obviously attractive man and your type was always big buff men. His words and his voice made you start to tingle, making you feel almost dizzy from all the blood that was rushing through your veins in excitement. It had been a long time since anyone has shown interest in you, making this feel so good. “If you dont mind, can I accompany you for a while? You seem so sweet and genuine and I would love to get to know you” he asked holding your hand a little longer, rubbing his fingers across your knuckles. You looked up from your hand and smiled, “I dont mind, please have a seat”.
As you two started to get to know eachother time went by super fast and before you knew it, it was closing time. “Bucky its been so fun talking to you, but its that time where I have to close up shop. Ill see you again right?”, you asked getting up from your seat. “Oh yes hun youll definitely see me again. Will you be getting a ride home or?” he asked cautiously hoping you wouldnt think much of his question. “Im actually going to walk there, I live like 10 minutes from here.” Buckys heart skipped a beat, hoping he could land this next question. “Oh no Doll, I would not want anything to happen to you. Let me return the favor and walk you home. At least so I know that you made it safely..a pretty thing like you all alone in the dark? who knows what could happen”. You questioned yourself for a bit, I mean you barely knew him but there was something so intoxicating about him and your heart screamed yes but your mind screamed stranger danger. Bucky saw you hesitate so he quickly added, “oh god im so sorry what am I thinking. I knew it was stupid of me to ask. I tottaly understand if youre not comfortable. Trust me I would be the same. I just wanted more time to talk to you, ill be honest, youre so....sweet” he stated lost in your eyes, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. Your tingles came back, he was standing right infront of you, his low soft voice making your pussy start to tingle. “I have one more favor to ask though I hope it’s not too much but...could I have some milk for my kitty Alpine. “ he asked stepping back a bit. He cant be a psycho..he has a kitty named alpine thats a good sign right?... “You know what, I actually wouldnt mind you walking home with me. I have some milk there, that I can give you” you smiled. Bucky was very pleased with you, you were going to be such a good girl for him. As you closed up Bucky waited outside for you to join him.
You got everything locked up and started walking home. As you approached your house and said your goodbyes , he gave you a kiss on the cheek and a thank you for everything. Your heart swelled up and you felt your butterflies travel from your tummy to your pussy once again. It felt so good feeling wanted by this man. Later that night you went into your room and got all washed up and ready for bed. Tossing and turning you couldnt shake Bucky from your head, he was all you could think of. You soon found yourself with your hand in your panties fantasizing about him. Small moans escaping your lips, feeling all hot and needy for “mmm Buckyy”. Bucky couldnt believe his eyes and ears. He was right behind your door, peeking through a small crack. He broke in while you were showering needing to steal some panties. As he got some and started to head out, he heard you opening the bathroom door. He quickly hid and made sure to stay silent until you went to bed. A couple hours passed as he waited until you were asleep in order to make his exit. Just as he was leaving he heard something strange, he heard his name coming from your room. He thought he was just hearing things but as he approached your room he saw the little show you were putting on for him behind the door. It took all his self restraint and control to not go in there and take you.
His cock immediately started to fill up his jeans, as he watched you play with your pretty pussy. He shoved his hands in his pants needing some friction but he soon found himself needing more. He pulled it out and started to pump himself with his flesh hand. He grunted quietly, not wanting you to hear. He masturbated as his metal hand held your panties to his face, thinking about how good you would feel around his cock. Your moans in the distance was making it hard for him to keep quiet they just added to his lust. He couldnt take it anymore, he needed you. He felt himself getting consumed by intrusive dirty thoughts. In an explosive state, he burst through your door making you snap up and gasp. You could of sworn it was a dream but it seemed so real. “Im sorry Doll...I cant wait...I need this....I need you ” he said approaching you and pinning you down onto your bed. “Bucky???What are you..what is happ” he placed his metal finger on your lips, a sick smile plastered on his face ”Shh..dont worry kitten, just make sure not to scream too loud”

Tumblr media
It all started on a beautiful spring day. Something had convinced you to go on an unprecedented early morning walk for some reason.
The morning air was cold but crisp. You were bundled up in your favorite sweater, and the scarf that your grandmother knitted for you was wrapped snugly around your neck. Normally you would be immersed in your headphones, but since today was already unusual you decided to forgo the music.
You walked along the banks of the stream that flowed next to your neighborhood. This particular stream held nothing but fond memories. You grew up here with all the other kids. During the summer breaks, you’d play out here from morning to nightfall. This was the place where you saw your first fireflies, and where you won your first fist fight.
You stopped to sit on the grassy hill that ran alongside the banks, relishing in nostalgia as you took in a breath of fresh air. Everything is so different now. Everyone moved away to pursue their careers or to go to a big university. You were the only one left. Your parents urged you to go to college, but you refused. Who else would help run the bakery?
As much as you hated to see it, your parents were growing old. Managing the family bakery was getting harder on them. You were such a huge help to them since you basically managed all of the front-of-house work. They worked diligently in the kitchen every day to create the best baked goods in town.
You had always dreamt of leaving this small town. You’ve fantasized about attending a big university in the middle of a bustling city since you were a little kid. Unfortunately, that can’t happen now. You can’t leave your parents or the bakery behind. You held no resentment though, you loved it. Being an only child was a bit lonely at times, but your parents made you feel loved no matter what.
You laid on the grassy hill, watching the clouds roll by. Maybe life was better this way. It was simple, and you always knew what to expect. Day in and day out, the routine was always the same.
Everything changed on that day. That was the fateful day that you ran into him. Or rather, he ran into you.
“Good morning, ____! Where were you this morning? Why weren’t you answering your phone?” your concerned mother asked when you returned home.
“Morning mom. I went on a walk and forgot my phone I guess. Sorry about that. I ended up laying on the hill by the stream,” you replied as you sat at the breakfast table.
Living with bakers was probably one of the biggest blessings in your life. Every meal smelled delectable and you had access to all the fresh goodies you could desire.
“Wow, you were awake before we were? What a surprise. Here, tell me what you think of this loaf,” your dad set it in front of you.
You tossed a piece of bread into your mouth. The taste was savory to say the least. It was your father’s signature banana bread loaf, only this time with a small twist.
“Why’d you take out the walnuts? It’s still delicious though,” you said, devouring another piece.
“Well so many customers complain about having nut allergies now. I thought we could sell more if we take them out! You think we can sell this?” he asked eagerly.
“I think this will be our newest best seller!” you happily replied, “I’m gonna go open up the shop. See you guys soon,” you kissed them each on the cheek before taking your leave.
The bakery was down the street from your house, so the commute was only about 5 minutes even if you walked slowly. You brought your phone with you this time, so you were jamming out to your music, oblivious to the outside world. You were so out of it, that you didn’t have time to react to the person quickly rounding the corner.
One moment you were walking to work, the next you were knocked onto the cold hard ground. Your assailant fell on top of you, and you soon locked eyes with him. It was as if time stood still for a moment. He was the most beautiful boy you’ve ever seen. His eyes were wide with concern, and for a moment, you swore you saw stars twinkling within them.
It took a second to register that this stranger was on top of you, in a compromising position no less. You’ve never been this close to a boy since...well it has been a while. Your legs were intertwined and his nose was only inches from yours.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you until the last second,” the boy apologized as he scrambled to get off of you.
As he helped you up, you reassured him that you were fine. You laughed off the incident and took the boy by surprise. You had the most angelic laugh he’d ever heard. He stood awkwardly gazing at you, before you asked him if he was okay.
“I-I’m fine! I’m glad you’re okay. I apologize again for being so careless,” he bowed.
“I’m also at fault! I wasn’t paying attention either. So shame on both of us,” you smiled to show him you were joking, “Enjoy the rest of your day, don’t run into anyone else!”
And with that, you parted ways. You forgot about the stranger as the morning rush piled into the bakery.
Despite being located in a small town, your parent’s were nationally renowned bakers. The bakery was always busy. That was part of why you loved it so much, you were never bored. The regular customers were your favorite. Most of the townsfolk had been coming to the bakery since you were little.
“Is this banana bread new?” Mrs. Park, the local florist, asked.
“Technically, yes. It’s the exact same recipe but without the walnuts,” you replied.
“Perfect! I’m not too fond of walnuts but I adore your parents’ banana bread,” Mrs. Park beamed, handing you a loaf along with other goods she picked up.
“How’s Jimin?” you asked as you rang her up.
“Oh he’s doing well! He loves it out there in the big city. At first, I was terrified of letting him go. He’s just always been so passionate about dancing, I finally had to cave in. He recently auditioned to be part of some fancy dance crew, and he got in! Can you believe it?” Mrs. Park began to dote on her son.
“That’s amazing! I’m happy for him,” you smiled.
“You know, ____, Jimin is still single. You two would be perfect together--”
“Long distance relationships are hard, Mrs. Park,” your mother interrupted her, swooping in to save the day. Thank god. You wouldn’t have known how to react.
“She could always move out to the city to be with him!” Mrs. Park retorted, not picking up on the awkward situation she created.
“I could never leave the bakery,” you responded quickly.
“Ah, yes that’s right. You have such a good daughter, Mrs. _____. Jimin never took any interest in taking over the family business. I’m jealous of you!” Mrs. Park said to your mom.
After what seemed like an eternity, Mrs. Park finally left. You were fond of her, but she never knew when to stop talking. Jimin was a good friend of yours growing up. You never wanted to admit that you had a huge crush on him. You figured it wouldn’t have mattered anyway, since he was so fixated on moving out.
The morning rush had died down. You took this opportunity to restock and tidy things up before the afternoon rush. The store bell rang, indicating the arrival of another customer.
“Welcome in! I’ll be with you shortly,” you called out from behind the counter.
“No worries, thanks!” the customer yelled back.
Once finished, you popped up with a bright smile on your face. Your parents taught you to always greet the customers with a smile as soon as they walk in.
However, the customer wasn’t facing your direction. He was looking at the baked goods that aligned the opposite wall. You patiently waited for him to make his selection. He kept walking back and forth, eyeing all of the baked items. You left your station behind the counter and approached him.
“Can I help you with anything, sir?” you piped up behind him.
The man jumped back, startled.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to scare you,” you apologized.
“It’s okay! I didn’t hear you at all. You must be some sort of ninja-- Oh it’s you!” the boy turned around to face you.
It was the gorgeous boy who ran into you earlier.
“Hello again! I guess it was my turn to frighten you,” you joked.
“That’s fair,” he nodded, “What’s the best thing here?”
“Mmm that’s hard for me to say, considering that I love them all. What kind of tastes and textures do you like?” your customer service persona kicked in.
“I like sweet things I guess? I like bananas too…” he trailed off.
“We don’t have any bananas in fruit form, but we do have killer banana bread,” you beamed.
“That sounds good, but I don’t really like nuts so--”
“There are no nuts in our new recipe! You must be lucky, this is the first day that we’ve started selling them. Want me to ring you up a loaf?” you interrupted him.
“Oh no nuts? Okay, I’ll try it,” he agreed quietly.
“Would you still like to get something sweet as well?”
“Yeah, if that’s okay,” he nodded timidly.
“Of course it’s okay! My personal favorite is our milk pudding bun. The pudding in the middle is pretty creamy plus the bread is unbelievably soft! If that’s not for you, then we have a classic chocolate bun filled with, surprise surprise, chocolate. We also have…” you led the boy around the entire bakery.
You were too focused on recommending various breads to notice him stealing glances at you that lingered longer than normal. He patiently let you talk his ear off about the goodies.
“I’ll go with the milk pudding bun,” he smiled shyly.
“That was the first one! You should’ve stopped me from rambling,” you huffed.
“I wanted to know my options. Plus you seemed pretty happy,” he added softly.
“Alright, let’s go check you out then,” you headed to the counter, “I haven’t seen you before. What brings you to our little town?” you attempted to make conversation.
“Mmm, to get away, I guess,” the boy said after a pause.
“Are you in some sort of trouble?” you leaned over the counter to whisper.
“Kind of,” he whispered back.
“Stay right here, I can call the police,” you frantically murmured as you whipped out your phone.
“No no! Not like that,” he couldn’t contain his laughter, “I’m a fine arts student. My main focus is photography, but lately I haven’t been able to capture anything worth printing,” he explained.
“Ohhh,” you said, feeling dumb, “Then why come to a town in the middle of nowhere? You won’t find much here.”
“To an untrained eye, maybe so. But to a professional, beauty can be found anywhere,” he said proudly.
“Then why can’t you find anything back home? And aren’t you still a student?” you questioned.
“You know, I was really hoping that you’d let me have that,” the boy deflated.
“Aw, I’m sorry! If you ever want to take photos of the beauty that is bread, you’re always welcome here,” you smiled.
“I might take you up on that offer,” he said as he grabbed the purchased goods, “What’s your name by the way?”
“____. Yours?”
“Jeon Jungkook.”
“I’ll see you around, Mr. Jeon Jungkook. Oh! And if you’d like a tour of the town, I’d be more than happy to show you around,” you suggested.
“That would be nice,” Jungkook pondered, “Where can I find you?”
“I’m here every day. I get off at 3pm,” you answered.
“Cool. I’ll drop by tomorrow, if that’s okay?”
“Sure! See you then!” you waved goodbye.
“Who was that?” your mother asked when the boy left.
“Some photography student that said he wanted to get away for some inspiration. I offered to give him a tour tomorrow after work,” you explained.
“Do you want me to come with you?” your dad offered.
“I’ll be fine on my own, thanks,” you quickly turned him down.
Tumblr media
You spent the next morning frantically flip flopping between outfits. Should you go with a pretty top paired with a skirt? Or perhaps keep it casual with a t-shirt and jeans? Or should you go with a simple dress? You know you’re supposed to be a tour guide, but you still wanted to look somewhat presentable. You settled for the dress. It gave off a “cute but not trying too hard” type of vibe.
Time seemed to slowly drag on as you waited for Jungkook to return. You had already mapped out your route, making sure it was efficient (not like there’s much to see anyway). You wanted to surprise him with a picnic at the end of the tour. Hopefully it could help show off the natural beauty of the forests and meadows that surrounded the town. As the clock approached 3pm, you began to wonder if springing a surprise picnic on a stranger was odd. Oh god, what if it was? You hadn’t had much interaction with people your age once all your friends went off to live their own lives. Panic was starting to set in when the front bell chimed.
“Hey! I’m a little early, but I can wait around until you’re finished,” Jungkook greeted you. You noticed a fancy looking camera dangling around his chest.
“It’s all good! Business has been slow today, I’ve been bored,” you admitted.
“Oh I see--” Jungkook was cut off.
“Hi! I’m ____’s mom. Did you like the bread you bought yesterday?” your mom materialized out of nowhere with a pan of fresh bread in her hands.
“It was delicious! Better than anything I could get in the city,” Jungkook complimented.
“Why did you batch a new batch? No one has come in after 1pm,” you aggressively whispered to your mom.
“I got bored,” she pouted, “Here, have one! On the house, think of it as a welcoming present to our town,” she motioned for Jungkook to take a fresh loaf off the tray.
Jungkook’s face lit up at the offer as he thanked her for the snack. His smile lingered as he took a bite, savoring the taste.
“You must have some sort of good luck charm; you’re getting even more free food later,” you chuckled as you plopped a wicker basket onto the checkout counter.
“Sweet,” he beamed.
You let out a small sigh of relief. It didn’t seem like Jungkook was creeped out by the thought of eating with a stranger. With the basket in hand, you led Jungkook across the town. There truly wasn’t much to see. Your family’s bakery was in line with the rest of the town’s shops. You passed by the florist, the cafe, the grocery store, and the post office within the first 3 minutes just by walking down the street. You added in little personal stories with each business that you pointed out.
Jungkook paused by the flower shop, in awe of all the beautiful arrangements. His eyes scanned the outside displays, as if he was looking for something.
“Need something specific, dear?” Mrs. Park asked her potential customer.
“Do you have Tiger flowers?” he inquired.
“Tiger… No, but I can probably order some for you,” she offered.
“Ah, that’s alright. I’m sorry to bother you,” Jungkook apologized before rejoining you.
“Did you wanna take a picture of that specific flower?” you asked him as you strolled along the sidewalk.
“Yeah, it’s my birth flower,” he shyly nodded.
“Oh nice! I don’t know what my birth flower is, but yours sounds pretty. Ah, here is the town square. Over there is the courthouse/government building/boring stuff happens in there probably,” you said as you pointed out the building.
“This is cool,” Jungkook examined a decrepit well that stood in front of the courthouse.
“I guess. I always thought it would be better if they replaced it with a big pretty fountain or something,” you mentioned as you looked down into the dark abyss of the well.
Jungkook said nothing as he began taking pictures of the well from various angles. You watched him frown at each picture he took before he tried to take another.
“Maybe you could take a picture looking into the well? I mean, you’d probably have to stand on it to get a full shot and your feet will be in it but…” you suggested before realizing that you knew nothing about photography.
Jungkook immediately hopped onto the well, disregarding the loose pebbles that crumbled away under his weight. Pointing the camera directly down into the well, he snapped a couple of pictures. He didn’t bother hopping off of the well before scrolling through the pictures he just took. You caught yourself staring at him, admiring his features. His eyebrows were furrowed in concentration, his lips were pursed, and the wind was blowing his bangs over his forehead ever so slightly. He really was a handsome boy, though he seemed to be completely unaware of it.
“How’d it turn out?” you asked as he climbed down.
“Not bad actually. Better than the angles I took at first,” Jungkook smiled with approval, “I’ll show you after I touch them up.”
“I’m excited to see! Also, this basically concludes the tour because everything else is residential stuff. Unless you wanna take pictures of random people’s homes,” you joked.
“I’m good. Is this where we’re eating? I kinda skipped lunch,” Jungkook looked at the wicker basket in your hand.
“Nope! I’m gonna take you somewhere special. Are you okay with a bit of light hiking?”
“Sounds fun,” Jungkook grinned.
“Perfect! Now it’s your turn to lug this thing around,” you said as you handed him the deceptively heavy basket.
You took him to the outskirts of town, where nature was left untouched.
“Is this where all the cool kids have their picnics?” Jungkook asked as you led him down an old trail.
“All the cool kids left this town a while ago, so I can’t speak on their behalf. However, this is where I like to have my picnics so take that in whatever way you please,” you responded.
It was a sunny day on the verge of being too hot, but the densely wooded forest provided enough shade to make it comfortable. Your parents used to take you on walks in these woods when you (and they) were younger. Of course, now the hilly paths and loose soil would only wreak havoc on your parents’ old knees. You’ve grown accustomed to exploring on your own. Bringing Jungkook along was a pleasant change.
“You okay with eating here?” you suddenly stopped, pointing over to a field just off the trail.
“I’ll eat anywhere, I’m starving,” Jungkook quickly nodded.
“I’m fully aware of that; I could barely hear the birds chirping over the sounds of your stomach growling,” you teased.
An old tree that was large enough to cover up the entire picnic blanket with shade proved to be the ideal spot. Jungkook set down the wicker basket that you assigned to him earlier, eagerly waiting for you to finally open it.
“On the menu today we have fruits as an appetizer, ham and cheese sandwiches in homemade croissants as the main course, and last but not least, chocolate buns for dessert,” you proudly showcased each item.
“I never knew bread could taste so heavenly until I went to your bakery. I’m happy I walked in,” Jungkook praised as he wolfed down his sandwich.
“It’s not my bakery, it’s my parents’ bakery,” you corrected him as you ate the fruit.
“Don’t you work in it nearly every day? I don’t see how it’s not your bakery too,” Jungkook insisted.
“I’m not the one running the business,” you argued.
“You seem to put in the same amount as work as them. Instead of baking, you’re handling all of the customers. That’s gotta count for something, right?” Jungkook persisted.
“Fine, I guess you could say it’s a family bakery. Happy?” you huffed, clearly annoyed.
“Hey, I wasn’t trying to make you angry. I’m sorry if I overstepped,” Jungkook apologized, putting his sandwich down, “I wanted to let you know how much I love your family’s bread, that’s all.”
“No, it’s fine. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have snapped at you. It’s just…” your trailed off as you gazed at the blue sky.
“I don’t want to pry, but I’m happy to sit here and listen,” Jungkook offered.
“I don’t want to scare you away by dumping my personal issues on you,” you tried to lighten the mood.
“I don’t think you could do that, ____,” Jungkook assured you.
Your eyes widened ever so slightly since he caught you off guard with his sincerity, but soon you gave him a soft smile.
“Fine, since we’re just sitting here anyway,” you caved as you picked up your sandwich, “I wish I wasn’t here anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I love my parents and I love the bakery. I just wish I got to go to a big city somewhere and attend a real university. I don’t know what I’d study, I just know that I thought my life would be different by now,” you turn away from him to hide your watery eyes.
“It’s not all that great,” Jungkook responded after a short pause, “I came from a small town too. The only difference was that it was along a beach, not by a forest. Wait, the location doesn’t matter,” he quietly scolded himself, “What I’m trying to say is that I did get away from my hometown. I was so excited to finally be a city kid. I didn’t realize how overwhelming it would be. Now look at me. I’m a senior in college with no direction in life. That’s what I get for choosing a career with no job security,” he chuckled as he looked down at the camera around his neck.
“But are you doing what you love?” you quietly asked.
“I think so. Are you?” he asked back.
“I think so,” you sighed, finally turning to look at him.
“I could always take you back to the city with me,” Jungkook flashed you a big bunny smile.
“Don’t joke with me like that. I hate getting my hopes up,” you playfully punch him in the arm.
“I’m not joking!” he yelped in surprise.
The conversation turned into a more cheerful one. You both spoke about your dreams, both childhood and present day. It was fun talking with Jungkook as you both watched the clouds roll by without a care in the world.
“Maybe you could get some pretty shots of some wildlife while we’re out here,” you recommended when the conversation came to a pause.
“Do you want to model for me?” Jungkook asked.
“Huh?” his sudden proposal surprised you.
“It’s completely okay if you don’t want to! Actually, just forget I said anything,” Jungkook looked down at the camera in his hands in a futile attempt to hide his flushed cheeks.
“Just tell me how to pose,” you smiled, already getting up.
“Uh, just act natural,” he said awkwardly as you leaned against the thick tree trunk.
At first, you made some silly poses that made Jungkook laugh. To be honest, you only did that because you really didn’t know how to pose next to the tree while making it look natural. Forcing a smile, you attempted to lean on the tree like as if it were another person.
“You don’t have to fake a smile,” Jungkook called from behind the camera.
“I don’t know what to do!” you called back.
“Act natural!”
“How do I do that?”
“Naturally!”
His response rewarded him a sarcastic eye roll, followed by a burst of laughter. Jungkook furiously clicked his camera as you laughed even harder. He praised you for ‘being in your natural state’ as he took shots from ridiculous angles. He gave you a thumbs up after he was satisfied with the impromptu photoshoot.
“Is laughing until I can’t breathe just me being in my natural state?” you asked playfully as you sat back down on the picnic blanket.
“It was authentic, so I would say so. I wish I could capture sound too, your laugh is so cute,” Jungkook said nonchalantly as he scrolled through the photos.
His eyes widened as soon as he realized what he said. He opened his mouth to try and take it back, or at least cover it up. He looked over at you shyly, only to see that you were digging out dessert from the basket. He let out a sigh of relief. Thankfully, you didn’t hear him.
“How were the pictures?” you asked, scooting to sit beside him after handing him the dessert.
“See for yourself,” he proudly showed you.
You were amazed by his talent. Even without editing, the photos looked like they were ready to be submitted into a contest. Everything looked so perfect. Your smile was genuine, the lighting was optimal, and your hair looked surprisingly good. You applauded him for his talent, to which he bashfully denied by saying he was still such an amatuer. You both finally dug into the desserts.
“These chocolate buns were amazing,” Jungkook licked his lips after he finished it.
“They’re my personal favorite! They’re also the best things that I can make on my own,” you winked at him as you finished yours.
“You made these?” Jungkook’s doe eyes filled with awe.
“Yep! Don’t act so surprised,” you pouted.
“Sorry, it’s just that you told me your parents bake everything. These were really good! Probably the best things I’ve had since--oh wait. You have a little something,” Jungkook leaned forward to wipe the corner of your mouth with his thumb.
You both froze for a second, in shock of this intimate gesture. Jungkook’s mouth opened to apologize, but you stopped him before he had the chance. Without thinking about it, you put your mouth around his thumb. You sucked on it for a second before you snapped back to reality. You started apologizing profusely the instant his thumb left your mouth.
“It’s okay! I shouldn’t have touched you in the first place,” Jungkook shied away from you, refusing to look you in the eyes.
“I don’t know what came over me,” you apologized as you grabbed his hand.
Jungkook looked at you with an embarrassed expression the moment you held his hand in yours. At first you didn’t realize why he was so embarrassed, you were the one sucking his thumb. But then, you noticed Jungkook sheepishly resting his other hand in his lap.
“Jungkook,” you said sweetly.
“Yes?” he answered, his eyes averting yours once more.
“Do you want me to do it again?”
“Huh?” he looked back at you with disbelief.
You made a bold move as you moved to straddle his lap, each leg settling beside his waist. You brought his hand up to your mouth and batted your eyes innocently.
“Like this,” you say before licking his pointer finger.
Jungkook gulped while slowly nodding his head, giving you permission to continue. His eyes stayed glued on you as you wrapped your lips around his finger. You dragged your flattened out tongue from the base to the tip. You then reversed this motion, but instead only using the tip of your tongue. You began to work on his middle finger as well. It was hard to fit his long fingers in your mouth, but you’re no quitter. Your tongue weaved between his fingers, adequately coating them with your saliva.
Jungkook’s breaths quickened the longer you went on. You felt a bulge grow between your thighs as you straddled him. Perhaps wearing a dress was a great idea after all. Your hips began to move on their own as you slowly grinded on Jungkook.
“____…” Jungkook moaned quietly when you daringly took three fingers into your mouth.
Rubbing your clothed pussy against his hard crotch spurred you on even more. Drool was dribbling down Jungkook’s arm and your chin, but neither of you cared. It just made you look more erotic to him. His other hand was on your hip to help you maintain a rhythm. You opened your eyes to make contact with his as you suckled his fingers. That’s all it took to make him come undone.
He quickly pushed you off of him as he cried out. You were both too shocked to say anything for a few seconds. Jungkook seemed too embarrassed to look you in the eyes again, his cheeks bright red.
“Jungkook, I--” you started to apologize.
“You probably think I’m pretty lame huh? Cumming in my pants like some sort of middle schooler,” he looked down in defeat.
“What? No, of course not!” you disagreed.
“Don’t lie,” Jungkook refused to believe you.
“Jungkook, that was honestly the hottest thing I’ve ever done. What we just did was hotter than when I was actually having sex,” you tried to cheer him up.
“You’re not lying?” Jungkook finally looked up at you with sad puppy dog eyes.
“I swear I’m not. I could help you clean it up, if you’d like,” you offered.
“I think that would make me feel worse. Just hand me some napkins and I’ll go take care of it myself,” he declined.
You packed everything up while you waited for Jungkook to return. He discreetly threw away the ball of used napkins into the designated trash bag, praying to god that you weren’t looking.
The walk back was quiet and awkward. Neither of you knew what to say. You were horrified with how you acted; you’ve never been so bold before. Jungkook was ashamed of cumming before he had the chance to do anything to you. He felt so pathetic.
“I’m sorry for making you so uncomfortable, Jungkook,” you finally apologized.
“Are you kidding? You think I would cum that fast if I was uncomfortable?” Jungkook looked at you with incredulity, “I’m the one who should be sorry. I’m disgusting and came in my pants while you did all the hard work.”
“You’re not disgusting at all, Jungkook. I enjoyed it too. I can’t remember the last time I was that horny,” you laughed.
All the tension in the air had disappeared. Jungkook bounced back to being his cheery self. The conversation went back to normal as you brought him back to the bakery. You hugged him goodbye and were about to leave when he caught your hand.
“Thank you so much for the tour. I know we’ve only known each other for a day but... would you like to go on a date with me?” Jungkook asked with a hopeful look in his eyes.
“No,” you said firmly, watching his shoulders fall, “I’d love to go on a date with you,” you smirked.
“You jerk!” Jungkook gasped.
You couldn’t help it, he was too easy to tease. After working out the details, it was decided that he would come pick you up on Friday night.
Tumblr media
Jungkook took you to basically the only restaurant in town (that wasn’t the cafe). It was a family run Italian eatery, and it took Jungkook by surprise.
“Is everyone in this place a master chef or something? This is delicious!” he praised as he ate his pasta.
“I guess it’s the authenticity of family recipes? You probably eat at more chain restaurants while you’re in the city,” you shrugged as you twirled noodles around your fork.
The date went on pleasantly. Jungkook wanted to know as much about you as you did him. The conversations you had were lively and fun; there was never a dull moment with him. Something about him just automatically clicked with you.
“What’s your favorite thing to photograph?” you asked.
“I like taking pictures of landscapes and buildings. That’s why I was super excited about going to a university in the city. It’s a lot easier than taking pictures of people! Unfortunately, that’s where the money is right now,” he explained.
“You don’t like taking pictures of people?”
“Not really, no,” he answered bluntly.
“Then why did you ask me to model for you?” you were genuinely curious.
Jungkook froze in his seat. He took a long sip of his drink before answering you.
“For practice, I suppose,” he said softly.
“I’m happy I was able to help then,” you smiled, thinking nothing of it.
Jungkook seemed grateful that you didn’t press for more details, and was soon coaxed out of his shy shell once the topic of anime came around. You were happy that he took you out on a proper date, you hadn’t been on one in so long.
He walked you back under the pale moonlight. You were admiring the twinkling stars when you realized that Jungkook hadn’t said anything in a while. His hand awkwardly brushed against yours when you first left the restaurant, but you didn’t think much of it. Jungkook seemed to be thinking hard about something as he walked alongside you. You were going to say something when the back of his hand brushed against yours again. He instantly pulled away and uttered a small “sorry”.
“What’s wrong, Jungkook?” you were worried now, you thought the date went well.
“Nothing…,” his voice trailed off as he looked away.
You interlocked his pinky with yours without a word. Jungkook looked over at you with surprise, but said nothing. He admonished himself for not committing to hold your hand, but he was happy with this too. In fact, he thought it was cuter than actual hand holding.
You arrived in front of your house. Bidding Jungkook goodnight, you went in for a hug. Jungkook also went in for a hug, but he leaned the same way you did. In a quick bumble, your lips grazed the corner of Jungkook’s, causing you to jump back. You stood in Jungkook’s arms, looking away in embarrassment. He brought up one of his hands to cup your cheek, forcing you to look back at him. His eyes sparkled under the moonlight as he gazed into yours.
Slowly, you found yourself leaning forward. Jungkook met you in the middle, his lips finding yours. It was a tender kiss, sweet and soft. You broke it off after a couple seconds to giggle, but Jungkook pulled you back into it. He kissed you gently, yet with so much passion. You reciprocated his affection as your fingers intertwined with his hair, deepening the kiss.
He finally pulled away, smiling back at you. To be honest, you wish it lasted longer. However, you knew you would have had a hard time controlling yourself if it did.
“Thank you for dinner,” you thanked him with a soft voice.
“Of course, thank you for accompanying me,” he bowed like a gentleman and kissed your hand. You couldn’t help but laugh at his gesture.
“Too much?” he tilted his head.
“Don’t change a thing,” you continued to laugh.
All sorts of thoughts about Jungkook swam in your mind as you fell asleep that night.
Tumblr media
Jungkook soon began to hangout with you every day. When he wasn’t out trying to take pictures, he would be in the bakery keeping you company. Your parents teased him, saying that he better buy something or else they’d kick him out, but they never did. In fact, your mom would always sneak him some freshly baked goods.
After work, you and Jungkook would spend even more time together. It didn’t matter if you guys were exploring nature, cooling off in the stream, or just watching movies; you enjoyed it all. It was nice having someone to talk to for a change. Jungkook never asked to make plans with you, he just assumed you guys would hangout the next day when he said “see ya tomorrow!”
You knew you had a crush on Jungkook, but you didn’t know how he felt. Yes, he took you on a date. Yes, you’ve kissed. Yes, you made in cum in his pants (not necessarily in that order). You were waiting on him to ask you to be his girlfriend. You didn’t want to pressure him, especially when you knew that he’d be going back to school in the fall.
One day, much to your chagrin, Jungkook was helping you with inventory. You argued that he shouldn’t work since he wasn’t getting paid, but he smiled and replied that spending time with you was all the payment he needed. You were too flustered to argue after that.
“Great, everything has been accounted for! Can you help me put this box back up there?” you asked him, nodding your head at a particularly high shelf that was out of your reach. You grabbed a step stool for him to make it easier.
Jungkook lifted up the heavy box of supplies with ease, and placed it back on the shelf. He looked down at you and smiled.
“What?” you cocked your head.
He said nothing as he leaned down and kissed your forehead, “You just look cute from up here.”
You looked away as you blushed, not knowing what to say. Jungkook laughed as he got down from the step stool. He teased you about it for the rest of the day.
Days flew by as it was getting closer and closer to Jungkook’s departure. You let Jungkook decide on what to do during his last day there. He picked you up at the bakery after your shift. He wanted to take one last stroll with you around town before he had to leave. You were about to hug him goodbye when he invited you over, saying that he had a box of popcorn he needed help finishing.
After watching a couple movies, Jungkook had his arms around you as you rested your head on his shoulder. Cuddling had become a norm between you two. Jungkook suddenly nudged your side, causing you to shriek.
“Sorry, just making sure you were still awake,” he giggled.
“I was, but now I definitely am,” you said as you returned the favor and tickled his sides.
It soon became a war of tickling as laughter erupted from both of you. Jungkook was just as ticklish as you were, making it a deadly battle. Before you knew it, you were straddling Jungkook, gripping both of his wrists in your hands. You both stared at each other as the laughter subsided, now replaced with heavy breathing.
“You could easily knock me over, you know,” you said as you lowered your nose to his.
“What if I don’t want to?” he whispered back.
He moved his head upwards to kiss you, catching you by surprise. You kissed him back, pushing him back down. You lowered your hips to rest on his hardened crotch. You let go of his wrists to help him take off his shirt before removing your own.
Once your lips connected again, Jungkook’s hands moved freely over your body, gently caressing your breasts. He treated you so tenderly, it made you even hornier. Your hands reached down to unzip his pants.
“Is this okay?” you paused to ask.
“Only if you take off your pants too,” he answered with a smirk.
Soon enough you were both down to just your underwear. You palmed Jungkook’s erection, curious to see it. It already felt huge in comparison to your hands.
“I want to fuck you, _____,” Jungkook groaned as you kissed his neck.
“I’m glad we want the same thing. Where do you want me?” you cooed.
“Like this is fine,” he quickly answered.
He helped you take off his underwear, revealing his massive dick. Your pussy clenched at the sight of it. You wriggled out of your panties and positioned yourself on top of him.
“Ready?” you asked.
Jungkook just nodded, his eyes wide with anticipation. He gulped as he watched you slowly lower yourself onto him, taking in each inch slowly. You moaned as he went deeper and deeper in you. You hadn’t had sex in a long time (and admittedly it wasn’t very good). Now, you were sopping wet and Jungkook was filling you up perfectly. Once you reached the base of his dick, you took your time going back up.
From the look on Jungkook’s face, he was in pure bliss. You continued to tease him as you fucked him slowly. You transitioned from taking his entire length to just swiveling around his tip, making him moan from the overstimulation. Jungkook dug his nails into your lower back, begging you to take all of him in again.
You leaned back over and peppered kisses along his chest and up his neck. Jungkook whimpered at the sensation, his breathing grew uneven. You giggled at him as you suckled on his neck, leaving wet kisses in your wake. Once you had enough of teasing him, you slammed back down onto him, and both your moans filled the room. Your hips began to move faster as you bounced on top of him. Jungkook’s grip on you tightened.
“I--I’m gonna cum,” he panicked.
You immediately hopped off, hoping to edge him. He whimpered at the loss of your warm pussy, but your plan seemed to work. His eyes begged you to get back on top.
“Now it’s your turn to fuck me,” you demanded as you laid down on your back.
Jungkook complied and positioned himself between your legs. He bent over to kiss you while he pushed his cock back inside of you. He took his time at first, but then tried to pick up the pace. His movements were awkward and stiff, and his pelvis hit your hips in a way that you knew they were going to bruise later.
“Jungkook, just relax,” you commanded.
Jungkook steadied his breathing and took your advice. He was finally able to find a rhythm and stuck to it. Luckily, it was the perfect rhythm for you as he continuously grazed your g-spot. Jungkook moaned with every stroke as your warm insides squeezed around him. You wrapped your legs around him, bringing him even closer. You looked up at him to see that the usual sweet star filled doe eyes of his had switched to a version of pure ecstasy as he gazed down at you with blown out pupils. The change was a little jarring, but also incredibly sexy when you realized the potential duality Jungkook could have. You pulled him into a deep kiss, tongues exploring foreign regions as he pounded into you.
“I’m gonna--,” his breath hitched.
“Cum on me baby,” you panted as you furiously rubbed your clit, desperate to cum with him.
With perfect timing, Jungkook got to feel you cum around him for a few seconds before he had to pull out and finish all over your chest. He gave you a quick peck on the cheek before scurrying off to find something to clean you with.
He rested his head on your chest as you held him close. You were falling asleep when he said something.
“Sorry, what did you say?” you asked him since you barely heard him.
“I am, well I guess was, a virgin,” Jungkook admitted.
“Oh,” you tried to mask your surprise.
“I didn’t wanna say anything. I mean, how lame is it that I’m a college senior and have never gotten laid. You’re probably surprised huh? I’m not lying, I swear.”
“I am surprised, but only because you seem like ladies would be all over you. You’re so handsome, funny, charming--”
“Yes yes keep going,” Jungkook joked.
“--and a genuinely good guy. Plus I feel like being a photographer would help you meet a lot of pretty girls,” you reasoned.
“While all of that is true, the real reason is pretty embarrassing. I’m...I’ve always been kinda scared of girls,” Jungkook sighed as you tried to suppress your laughter, “I’m not kidding! I always get so nervous around girls, I could never actually talk to them.”
“So am I not a girl in your eyes?” you teased.
“You’re a woman,” he answered cockily.
“Shut up! I hope your first time was enjoyable. Thanks for entrusting me with your v card,” you laughed.
You both continued joking and laughing the night away until you fell asleep in each other’s arms. While that night was enjoyable, it made Jungkook’s absence hurt more.
Tumblr media
Life had sunk back into the same mundane routines once Jungkook left. Of course, he still kept in touch. He would text and video call you as often as he could. He’d send you pictures of his newest shooting locations, and you’d always be the first person he’d show his finished products.
You loved witnessing Jungkook’s passion grow, he had a new spark in him that wasn’t there before. With your encouragement as an extra shove, he applied to his dream job. He explained to you that it was with an agency that would send him to a random country where he’d work with a participating magazine company. You secretly envied him for even having the possibility of exploring the world.
Days and weeks started to blend together. Your parents insisted on having you help out more in the kitchen, presumably to get your mind off of Jungkook.
It was a weird fling you had with him. However, it also didn’t seem like a fling. Most flings didn’t still keep in touch in a long distance “friendship”, or whatever it was you had. You were never officially dating, but it sure as hell felt that way. You cursed yourself for waiting for him to ask, you should’ve just done it yourself. Of course, part of you felt like you’d just hold him back if you guys actually ended up dating.
These thoughts constantly swarmed your mind. Ironically, the only time you weren’t thinking about your dilemma was when you were chatting with Jungkook. The end of the semester was quickly approaching, and you could tell that he was getting antsy. He hadn’t gotten offers from anywhere that he applied. You could do nothing but give him hope but assuring him that someone somewhere will hire him.
You watched snow fall outside when you got a call.
“I GOT IN!!!” Jungkook exclaimed.
“What?! Where?!” you jumped up in excitement.
“My top choice! The one where they send me to another country! Guess where I’m going,” he sing songed.
“Umm… Italy?”
“Close! I’m going to España,” he said with a spanish accent.
“That’s amazing, Jungkook. I’m so proud of you! I knew you could do it. When do you leave?” you asked.
“In a week. God, I’m so excited! Oh, my parents are calling. I’ll talk to you later?”
“Of course. Congrats again,” you cheered before he hung up.
Before you knew it, you were crying. You were honestly happy for Jungkook, but reality hit you. You were never going to be able to tell him that you loved him. You were never going to be with him, not while you’re stuck in this town. It sucked, but you had no choice but to accept that.
Two days had passed since that phone call. Jungkook was probably busy packing and working out minor details, so you stayed out of his way. You figured things would probably be like this from now on. Why would he bother talking to a small town girl while he’s out exploring the world?
You were restocking the milk puddings rolls when the front bell chimed.
“I’ll be with you in a second,” you called out.
“No worries, I’ll wait all day if I have to,” a familiar voice responded.
You dropped the rolls as you turned around with lightning fast speed. Jungkook stood at the doorway, beaming a big bunny smile at you. You ran to him, embracing him in a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around you and kissed your forehead.
“Surprise,” he smiled.
“What are you doing here?” you asked as you wiped tears from your eyes.
“I needed to see you. I was planning on coming back and surprising you even before I left. You didn’t think I’d leave without saying goodbye, did you?” he ruffled your hair, “Oh, and those tiger flowers are beautiful,” he nodded over to the flower bouquet on the checkout counter.
“I got them because they reminded me of you,” you blushed, your ears turning red.
“Did I hear Jungkook?” you mom poked her head out of the kitchen, “Oh my goodness! Honey look! Jungkook is back!” she called your dad.
Your parents came out to greet him. He explained everything to them, and they congratulated him.
“How long will you be here? Aren’t you leaving soon?” your dad inquired.
“I leave tomorrow night. I wish I could stay longer,” Jungkook answered solemnly.
“____ suddenly doesn’t have to work until after you’ve left,” your mom smiled fondly at you.
Your eyes lit up as you kissed your parents on the cheek to thank them. After grabbing your jacket, you took Jungkook’s hand and dragged him out. You both aimlessly walked around the town as you chatted. He went more in depth with the details of his job. He was most excited about capturing photos of the city. After looking up some pictures of the architecture, he immediately fell in love with Madrid.
Jungkook invited you over to watch some of the short films he worked on over the past semester. While they were just videos of his friends with no plot, you could feel their friendship seeping through the screen. The way Jungkook played with music and colors really enhanced the already well shot video. You felt at peace sitting beside Jungkook on his bed as he showed you all his past projects. Part of you wished that this moment would never end.
“You’ve made me a better person, you know,” Jungkook said out of nowhere, “I’m more talkative around my friends, and I’ve gotten more comfortable with being myself.”
“I didn’t do anything, that’s all you,” you smiled as you poked his chest.
“You definitely helped,” he ran his fingers through your hair, “I love you, ____.”
Your heart skipped a beat.
“I love you too. I thought I’d never get to say that,” you said with a sigh of relief.
He looked into your eyes before leaning forward slowly. You’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, you practically pounced on him. You kissed him passionately, as if to show him how much you missed him. Clothes were thrown in every direction leading to bare skin being exposed.
Jungkook’s soft hands roamed across your body as if he were trying to memorize your every curve. His touch was a bit rougher than the last time, his lips crashed against yours as he pinched your nipples. You couldn’t tell if it was desperation, carnal lust, or just a new side of Jungkook, but you didn’t mind in the slightest. His erection pressed against your thigh as your hands tangled themselves in his dark hair. You reached down to grab his cock, gripping from the base and slowly dragging your hand to the tip and then back down. He shuddered at the sensation, moaning into your mouth.
“Should I get on top?” you batted your eyes.
“Nope, I have a better idea,” Jungkook growled as he flipped you over onto your knees, “Can I fuck you like this?”
“Fuck me however you want,” you answered gleefully.
Jungkook rammed into you without hesitation. He firmly gripped your hips to keep you in place as he thrusted into you. His dick sent waves of ecstasy as he crashed into you. He surprised you when he reached his hand around you to play with your clit, causing you to squirm under him.
“Be a good girl and stay still,” he ordered.
His newfound dominance turned you on. He was no longer the baby boy that followed your every move, although you were sure that side of him was still there somewhere. You got lost in pleasure and didn’t realize how far gone you were till you felt liquid dripping down your inner thighs.
“You’re so fucking wet baby. All this for me?” Jungkook panted as he continued snapping his hips into you.
“Mhm, of course. Only for you,” you managed to moan out between thrusts.
“That’s my good girl. Get up,” he demanded as he hopped off the bed.
You obeyed, curious as to what he was going to do. As soon as you got off the bed, he spun you around and pushed your chest back over the covers. He slipped back into you with ease, groaning as your slick juices coated his cock. This new position enabled Jungkook to directly hit your g-spot with each thrust. Again, his hand wrapped around your waist to find your clit. His other hand found purchase on your neck, slightly choking you. The overstimulation had you crying out in bliss that you had never experienced before.
You were practically gushing now as your wetness ran down your legs and sprayed onto Jungkook’s thighs with each strong impact.  Jungkook lifted up one of your legs onto the bed, spreading your pussy.
“Now touch yourself for me,” Jungkook directed.
He didn’t have to tell you twice. Your legs started to shake as you played with your clit at the perfect pace while Jungkook drilled into you. You were sure that you had already came numerous times by this point, but you could feel the grand finale soon approaching.
“Jungkook I--” you didn’t get a chance to finish your sentence as you climaxed onto his dick. He was infatuated with the way you looked from behind, and he couldn’t get enough of it. He pushed you back onto the bed with your legs still hanging from the edge. He reinserted himself while you laid there, completely delusional from the pounding you had been receiving.
“You’re such a sexy woman,” he moaned as he anchored the weight of his arms onto your shoulders.
He continued his torment downwards. Your bountiful cheeks bounced back and forth while he repeatedly rammed into your g-spot causing you to release more of the juices his massive cock craved.
He slowed his pace but still kept going to help you ride out your high for as long as possible. The sensation of you cumming on him was enough to bring him right to the brink of no return.
“Can I cum on you?” he pleaded in a tone all too familiar to you.
“Please do,” you nodded.
“God, you’re so sexy,” he said as he gave you a couple more hard thrusts before pulling out and coating your ass with white strings.
Jungkook held you in his arms after wiping you down with a towel, both of your chests heaving in sync. You both managed to work up a sweat, but Jungkook still smelled amazing. He played with your hair as your eyelids started to get heavy.
“_____,” he whispered softly.
“Yes, Jungkook?” you replied with your eyes still closed.
“Come with me.”
“What?” your eyes shot open.
“Come with me to Spain. I know it sounds crazy, but I don’t care. You’ll finally get the adventure you’ve always wanted, and we’ll do it together,” he kissed your forehead.
His unexpected proposition had you overwhelmed. You were speechless. You would go with him in a heartbeat. It wouldn’t matter where you’d go, as long as you were with him.
“Jungkook...you know I can’t do that,” you fought back tears, nuzzling yourself further into his chest.
“I wanted to ask your parents as soon as I arrived but you rushed me out too quickly and--”
“I can’t leave them, you know that,” silent tears rolled down your cheeks.
“I think they’d understand. Plus, you’ve said that they’ve tried to convince you to go to college,” Jungkook was getting desperate, he thought you’d agree on the spot.
“They need my help now more than ever. My parents are getting old. As much as I want to leave this place, I can’t. I’m going to be stuck here forever. I’m so sorry, Jungkook,” you wept.
“It’s okay, ___. We can ask them tomorrow, how does that sound?” he rubbed your back.
“No, I can’t do that to them. You know they’ll say yes. I have to stay,” you sniffled.
“You’re a great daughter. I can’t force you to come with me. I’ll miss you. I don’t know how long I’ll be gone,” Jungkook’s voice started to falter.
“Don’t worry about me. Go live out your life. Eat great food. Take beautiful pictures. Meet pretty girls,” you tried to lighten the mood.
“You think I want to meet pretty girls? Why would I do that when I have you,” he hugged you tightly.
“We aren’t even dating, Jungkook. I don’t want to hinder you more than I already have,” you blurted.
“I...I know we aren’t dating. Not officially. But that’s just a stupid label. I want to be with you,” Jungkook’s voice softened to hide his pain.
“Maybe this was a bad idea,” you said as you got up.
Jungkook immediately pulled you back into him. Your nose brushed against his wet cheek, causing you to freeze up when you realized that he had also been crying.
“Please stay with me. At least just for tonight,” he pleaded.
“Alright. I can do that,” you softly kiss him.
You woke up the next morning with your head on Jungkook’s chest. Jungkook looked adorable while he was asleep, with his mouth agape and his hair falling messily over his forehead. You tried to inch away, but he just pulled you closer, making it impossible to escape.
He woke up with a yawn a couple minutes later. He smiled down at you before ruffling your hair.
“Jungkook, I’m sorry about last night. I--”
“Let’s not talk about it. This is my last day with you for god knows how long. Let’s just enjoy ourselves, okay?” he interrupted you.
Tumblr media
It had been three years since that spring when you met Jungkook. You sometimes reminisce about the times you had with Jeon Jungkook. It honestly felt like a dream. Communication with him slowly faded away, and now the only conversations you had with him were one message long during birthdays and holidays. You kept up with him more through Instagram. He regularly uploaded his beautiful pictures, and you could tell that his talent only grew. He had a knack for making dull buildings and streets come to life.
Your parents planned to retire soon, leaving you to tend to the bakery by yourself. They mainly managed the front-of-house work during the busy hours now. Their goal was to finally sell the bakery, but you protested against it. As much as you wanted to be rid of the chains that tied you down, you were scared. You didn’t know what you would do if the bakery was suddenly gone. It was all you’ve ever known.
Ever since your parents announced their retirement plans, you started to dabble in pastry making. They were impressed with your skills, and your creations got added to the menu. Word spread that the already famous bakery was now carrying delicious pastries, and business soared.
You were busy decorating your latest desserts when your mother came into the kitchen.
“Your father and I have to go run a quick errand, we’ll be back soon!” she said before giving you time to protest. You grumbled to yourself as you placed strawberries on your cakes, praying that no one would come in.
“Hello? Anyone here? The sign says open,” someone called from the front.
‘God dammit’, you thought before putting on a fake customer service smile.
“Welcome to--” you stopped in your tracks.
Jungkook was standing in the middle of your bakery, looking even more handsome than you had remembered him. His face lit up as soon as he saw you. You couldn’t help yourself as you ran towards him, colliding into him with a forceful hug.
“I hear you sell desserts now,” he grinned.
“Jungkook! What are you doing here? Your hair, it’s so long! And...do you have tattoos now?!” you were in shock.
“Do I look more artsy now?” he laughed, “I came to see you. I wanted to try your desserts too, of course. No one would believe me when I said nothing can compare to your family’s bakery. Oh, I have a present for you.”
You became giddy with excitement as Jungkook brought out a brown paper bag and handed it to you. You pulled out prints of a beautiful girl standing in a forest. Wait...it looked familiar…
“Is this me?” you asked as your mouth hung open.
“Yeah, these are the pictures from when you took me on that picnic. Would you believe me if I said I barely had to touch anything up? They were already nearly perfect,” Jungkook said proudly.
“It’s because you’re a talented photographer,” you smiled.
“That, and because I had the perfect model. How could I not ask the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen to model for me?” he said as he tucked your hair behind your ear.
“So I wasn’t just practice?” you recalled asking him about it all those years ago.
“I was so nervous back then, I couldn’t bring myself to tell you the truth,” he laughed, “I’m much more open now.”
You promptly switched the ‘OPEN’ sign to ‘CLOSED’ and sat Jungkook down. You brought out one of your fresh strawberry cakes, eager to hear his opinion. His face contorted with pleasure as he took the first bite. He complimented the flavors and textures, saying that everything tasted like perfect harmony. You laughed together as he shared stories of his time abroad. He intently listened while you opened up about the struggles of the bakery.
“Anyway, that’s enough complaining for now. I’m happy you’re back! How long are you staying for this time?” you tilted your head.
“Depends,” Jungkook answered as he gazed out the window. He looked back at you with a serious expression. He quickly grabbed your hand and pulled you close, bringing your face just inches away from his.
“Do you still want to explore the world?” he asked.
“Of course, that’ll never change. But...you know I can’t,” you answered somberly.
“After everything you just told me, you still think you have to stay here?” Jungkook raised an eyebrow, “My next gig is going to be in France. Come with me this time, _____.”
You stared at him with a stunned expression. You thought he had forgotten about you. Now here he is, asking you to run away with him again.
“Why did you lose touch? I thought you had moved on. I made peace with that. God, it hurt like hell, but I came to terms with it. And now we’re doing this again,” your voice cracked as tears welled in your eyes.
“Honestly, it hurt me too much. I couldn’t bear talking to you every day or video chatting you, without knowing when I’d see you next. I never stopped thinking about you. I tried. I tried to forget...but no one could ever come close to you,” Jungkook cupped your cheek in his palm, “There’s a really good patissiere academy close to where I’ll be working. You could go there and sharpen your skills! Then maybe one day open up a bakery of your own...if you wanted.”
“But what about my parents--”
“Stop using us as an excuse to hold yourself back,” your mom scolded you as she entered the bakery.
“Did you like your surprise?” your dad winked.
“You knew?” you were bewildered.
“Jungkook contacted us a while back, asking if we thought his plan could ever be a possibility. I figured you were still head over heels for him since you never dated anyone else,” your mom shrugged.
“If you want to go, go. Don’t worry about us. We can sell the bakery, and finally retire,” your dad said.
“You have your parents’ blessing, ____. This decision is entirely up to you. What’s it gonna be? Will you come with me to France?” Jungkook asked again.
“I..,” you looked at your parents before your eyes wandered back to Jungkook, “Yes. I’d love to,” tears of joy rolled down your cheeks.
Jungkook got up and embraced you in a tight hug before he whispered, “I’ve missed you so much,” in your ear.
“Well, we better start packing,” Jungkook turned to your parents.
“Packing? Already?” your eyes widened.
“We leave by the end of the week!” Jungkook gleefully took your hand and dashed out of the store.
Jungkook dragged you through the town up to your house. You couldn’t help but smile as you watched his long hair bounce around while you ran. You could’ve sworn that sometimes they looked like bunny ears.
He was definitely Jungkook, but he seemed like the upgraded version of the shy boy you once knew. He had a new confident aura around him, and he seemed more manly than boyish now. Everything was happening so quickly, but you were nothing but excited for the adventures to come.
As long as Jungkook was by your side, you were ready to take on the world.

You had known Jake for more than half of your lives. Thanks to both of your rich ass parents setting you two up for a playdate at the age of 12, now you have found your rock and partner in crime. You know when he's feeling down, when he wants to cause trouble for no reason, when he has an eye for someone, heck, you know when and how to get him out of any situation when needed.
Like right now, as he gives you a side glance as he talks boringly to a group of men. All they talked about was business. Jake wanted to talk about that one burrito place down the block, he wants to get out of there and go get some. He wants to get out of this stupid high class party he has no part of.
He knows you do too, he knows by the way you keep glancing at the back door by the kitchen, and how you occasionally move to each group closer to the door. You know he catches up to the plan, how he also moves from group to group, excusing himself every 2 minutes.
You politely excuse yourself from the many unknown rich aunts who just questioned your love life, giving them a very passive smile, before turning to move to another group.
You don't get to go to another group, because you're already so close to the door, and Jake approaches you.
"Why, hello there, miss Y/n."
You feign shock at his greeting, holding a hand to your chest, "My, Jaeyun, wasn't it? It's been too long!"
Your best friend nods, playing along to the small skit you two have created, "About 2 hours, I think? You've grown very beautifully,"
You flick your hand at him, nudging his shoulder not-so-gently, "Oh stop."
You bite your lip to hold back a loud laugh when Jake winces at your harsh push at his shoulder, watching as his face twists in playful anger. You can't help but thin he looks absolutely adorable, nose scrunched up and eyes narrowed in a non meaningful glare, you ought to kiss his puffed cheeks.
You shake the last thought from your mind, bringing the elegant glass of champagne to your lips, sipping lightly at the sweet and slightly sour liquid. You then take a double check around the spacious room, to see if anyone is watching.
Your mother and father were chatting at the far corner with the parents of Jay, a guy you met earlier this evening. He looked just as bored as you. Jake's parents stood not too far from your parents, greeting anyone who approached them.
This was your chance.
Quickly, as Jake was mumbling something about you growing up strongly as well, you grab his arm. He yelps in surprise, as you drag him through the back door, lightly blushing at your gentle touch at his wrist.
The back door soon slams behind the both of you, and you are met with a large yard.
"Y/n! What if someone caught us?"
Giving Jake a side glare, you start to trudge down the flight of stairs to the garden, "You were too busy complaining about my guns to notice we had a chance to escape. You're welcome."
"You're weak!"
"Am not!"
"Are to!"
You ignore the upcoming argument you could've started, taking off your painful heels. They were absolutely stunning, but stung your feet constantly. Beauty is pain, as mother says.
"Lead the way to the burrito truck you claimed to see on the way here!"
Through the many bushes, and many guards, and even more bushes, you finally make it out the the big mansion, and into the dark streets. It's 10 in the night, you hope the burrito place is still open or your only choice left is a McDonalds about an hour away or convenience store food. Not that you minded, but you haven't had a burrito since you were 18. You had it right after graduation day with one of your closes friends who you have no idea of her whereabouts now.
The last time Jake had a burrito is about last week, the first time he met another rich kid named Sunghoon. Their parents gave them a bunch of money to go spend on expensive and top quality foods, but they both mutually agreed to get cheap burritos that would probably give them a bad stomach.
Jake takes the lead, as expected, for he was the one who spotted the food truck. He took off his blazer some time ago, you don't remember when, but with his jacket thrown over his elbow and sleeves rolled up like that, you can't help but admire.
You notice every single little thing about him, his slow, rhythmic paces, occasionally kicking stray rocks on the sidewalk. You watch as his hair slightly bounces as he kicks yet another rock, and you want to pet his hair.
There was that one time when you were 16 and you had a movie night as your parents went away for some business, he had his head on your lap, you didn't mind for some reason. At some point you had started playing lightly with a few strands of his hair, but you didn't notice. The moment you softly ran your hands through his hair, you realized, and decided to keep your hands to yourself after that. To your surprise he protested against it, claiming it was very comforting. So now every time one of you come over to the other's house, you would somehow find yourself playing with his hair, like pure human instinct.
But now as you observed your best friend more, you have a different feeling running through you as you had an urge to softly play with them once more, as if it wasn't as platonic anymore. But that was absurd. you've been friends for 10 years now, why are you just feeling like this now?
Your heart jumps in your chest when you are suddenly met with Jake's eyes, shining brightly with a slight mischievous gloss glazing over them. "Can we pick up the pace please? I'm getting pretty hungry and I know you are too."
Your heart softens as he sticks his arm out, gesturing you to come next to him. You jog barefoot to his side, instantly looping your arm with his.
It doesn't take long to find the food truck Jake mentioned, just a 10 minutes from the mansion, somewhere near the center of town. You had to drive about 2 hours to get here, and so did Jake, so it's a bit strange how he knew his way around the town so easily. You guess he just is that way.
You practically drool at the smell of savory foods that lingers in the air, sucking the saliva in your mouth.
Your best friend eyes you playfully, nudging your hip with his, "See? What did I tell you? Burrito food truck!"
You don't respond, simply grunting and dragging him to the cashier to order some food.
It takes a lot of time to decide on what burrito you'd buy, there were even tacos, and weirdly, cookies and croissants. It was your dream food truck, really. In the end, you both went for the classic burrito, nothing could beat it.
There were no seats to the food truck, sadly, so you and Jake opted to sit on the curb, legs sprawled out on the road, hopefully no cars drive by.
"You ready?" Your best friend asks you, looking at you with much anticipation. You stare at your own burrito in much more anticipation, it's been 4 years since you had a burrito. You wonder how you could survive that long.
You nod vivaciously, already opening your mouth to take a bite. Jake chuckles as he watches you take your first bite, your cheeks instantly puffing out full of the contents. You shut your eyes in bliss, licking your lips for anything left on them.
As you continue to chew, you shake your head, "Shit, I haven't had anything this good in sooo long." You exaggerate, taking yet another bite of the heavenly treat.
Jake can't agree more, he just had a burrito last week, but somehow eating one with you feels different. Especially when you don't mind him seeing and pointing out the smeared food around your mouth, simply trying to search for it with your tongue instead.
Your best friend wants to cherish this moment forever, keep it deep in his heart and laugh at it in the future when he suddenly gets reminded of it, he wants to brag about it to his friends, maybe even share it with his grandchildren, he doesn't know. All he knows is that you're it for him.
You're the one he's spent all of his teenage years with, his first heartbreak, first sleepover, first drink was with you, heck, you were his first close friend!
You know so much about him, you share so much about yourself to him, he's the one you trust. He's the first person you call out to when you're down, first person you call out to in the best of your times. It amazing how much you've been through together, and Jake thinks anything is possible, as long as it's you.
Falling in love seems so much easier than ever, especially at that moment, eating a burrito instead of the expensive caviar at the party before, just with him. And nobody else.
He wants to make you his. Not just his best friend, his lover, his soul mate, his whole world. Not that you weren't already.
"What's wrong?" you suddenly ask Jake, startling him. "You nudge your chin at the burrito in his hands, "Why aren't you eating?"
Jake flushes, realizing he's been staring at you the whole time, taking a big bite of his burrito, before looking away bashfully. "It's nothing."
You grow suspicious of his actions, watching as he swallows and bites his lip shyly. You choose to leave it there, instead bringing up your parents being out of town next week.
The conversation keeps going, from one topic to the other, swerving all over the place, but that's just how it is, talking to the person you're most comfortable with.
The conversation goes on and on until you find yourself walking along the streets blindly, fiddling with the paper packaging of the burrito you ate. You also find yourself wearing Jake's shoes instead of walking barefoot, he gave to you after you complained about walking over so many rocks, and you didn't like how your heart swarmed and beat dangerously fast as he claimed it would be better if you borrowed them for the night.
Strangely enough, his blazer he took off about and hour ago now stayed on your shoulders, keeping you warm from the cold breezes of the night. All your best friend's actions made you swoon over him, and that wasn't something you would feel often. Maybe occasionally, but not everyday.
Jake doesn't know what got into him when he took his shoes off for you, or when he draped his blazer on your shoulders, or why he took your heels and held it for you. What he does know, is that he enjoys the way your lips purse and a light shade of pink dusted over your cheeks. Or how you pull his blazer tighter around your body and sub-consciously loop your arm around his again.
You two never really got to go through the proper high school experience, your parents forced you to go to a strict school with strict rules, they didn't even have celebrations.
Jake always imagines what it would be like to go to a dance, prom, maybe? Full of fun, dancing, and definitely you. You had a similar vision. Chugging down punch or soda and dancing crazily together until you both get sick and throw up in the bathroom.
Prom was like a mutual yearning for the both of you.
God, how you would kill to have a normal high school experience.
"You know," Jake starts, "this feels like I'm walking you home after prom."
You can't stop the grin from reaching your lips, giving into it and letting out a soft laugh. Softly, you elbow his side, "Corny."
There are a few laughs here and there after that, but overall just comforting silence that goes throughout the night. The crickets that echo throughout the night are your only noises, and the few cars rushing by. You two come to a stop at a random bench by a streetlamp, settling there until you realize it's time to go back to the party.
You realize it, but you just don't want to let go of the moment.
You feel Jake hook his leg under yours, swinging them together in sync as you rest and stare into the night sky. Tonight isn't that much of a pretty night, no stars, barely a moon, but that's alright, you're enjoying the most of it.
You turn your head away from the boring black sky, instead facing the mot interesting thing you find in life. Jake is staring down at your swinging legs, smiling at the sight. He fiddles softly with your fingers, caressing and tracing them as if they were one of the most precious things in the world.
Your eyes trail from your tangled legs, to your tangled hands, all the way up to Jake's face, tracing each and every detail with your gaze. You don't remember when he matured, you only remember the fluffy cheeked bowl cut Jake when you two were still middle schoolers. Now all that cheek has become more defined, especially his jaw, you can't help but admire him. He was like a piece of art. Your favorite piece of art.
For the second time that night, you focus on his hair, and ought to run your hands through them once again. To pull him into your embrace as he rests on you, to simply relax and twirl his strands around your fingers.
It seems like whenever you're staring at his hair, Jake just startles you with his eyes, still glossy, but this time they hold something different.
They admire you just as much as yours admire him.
Slowly, as if an unspoken agreement, you lean in closer to his face. His breath close to your cheek sets goosebumps trailing your body, and his touch now on your neck warms you inside.
Your eyes flit between his eyes and lips, oh those plump, soft lips you dream of. You would never admit it, but you have had many urges to crash your own upon them.
And that's exactly what you do. Though, crash isn't the right word to describe it. They press together softly more than recklessly, pulling into a soft lock, something much more than just platonic love being poured into it. Pure bliss and love are being poured like gentle and calm rivers, the ones you find clear and beautiful in parks. It runs faster as Jake tilts your head to kiss you closer, lips wrapped up in the warmth of yours. It feels like home to him.
Jake is absolutely perfect, you decide, despite all the many nights spent together breaking down, left for each other to pick the other up, it makes him perfect.
He thinks you're the most flawless thing he's ever seen, despite all the gems and crystals he sees in most parties, you're the brightest one shining, he could never find any jewel more valuable than you.
You pull away with one last soft lock of your lips, but stay close and ghost them together. You find his eyes the shining the most you have ever seen in the 10 years you have spent with him, one different emotion fluttering behind them. Love.
You surely don't feel that big of a person when you're at these big rich parties, even if everyone knew of your name. But kissing your best friend and being the one he sees, he loves, being his, you feel like you could rule the world.
You know you're his after this. How could you not? The way he breaks out into a very bashful smile when you leave one last peck on his lips, the way he holds you so close. There was no way he couldn't be yours after this.
A week later you have a very sleepy boyfriend on your couch, his head resting on your lap as you play softly with his hair. Nothing is all that different, except for all the kisses he steals when reaching up to you. And of course, the corny lines being thrown at each other as a competition to see who can come up with the cheesiest, most disgusting pick up line ever.
"I want to wrap you in my arms and make you my baerito."
"Ugh Jake that was just straight but bad! Not even funny or cheesy!"
Jake simply laughs, and wraps his arms around you just as he claimed to have wanted to, mumbling how he agreed into your forehead.
Being in his arms, you feel like you could fight everything that would try to hurt your lover, but for now you stick to the playful pokes he gives to your stomach and sides.
