Dating A-Z Headcanon : ̗̀➛ Oscar Piastri
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A ⇴ AFFECTION
Oscar isn’t overly affectionate, but he does like to have you close. Quite often he can be found holding onto your hand or to your waist to make sure that you’re by his side and where he can make sure that you’re safe.
B ⇴ BEFORE DATING
You first met when you were in school, having been paired together for a project. At the start of it you were both too terrified to even say anything to each other, but as you got to know each other more you found yourselves increasingly comfortable around one another, so much so that you even managed to come top of your class for your presentation together.
C ⇴ CONFESSION
When his career began to take off, Oscar knew that he couldn’t deny his feelings for you any longer. As he spent less time at home, and with you, he decided to tell you how he felt so you knew that he was thinking of you even when he wasn’t with you. One night before he went away for a race Oscar decided to tell you everything, opening up to you about exactly how happy you made him feel.
D ⇴ DATES
Most of the time your dates were quite private, Oscar wasn’t exactly the flashy type, especially when there were plenty of people around. He liked to keep your dates quite simple, usually you would go out for a nice meal or Oscar would arrange for you to do something at home together. He promised whenever he was home that he would organise at least one date for you both before he had to go away again so that he could make sure that you got to spend some quality time together and make some new memories.
E ⇴ EXPERIENCE
You were the only ever person that Oscar had dated, and so he quite often felt like he was learning on the job. You and Oscar knew each other incredibly well and so Oscar didn’t really tend to worry that he was doing the wrong thing. At times he would ask other people around him for some tips and advice when he wasn’t sure if he was doing the right thing, but you and Oscar were close and so if he felt as if he was doing something wrong, usually he’d open up to you and learn about what it was that you wanted from him instead.
F ⇴ FIGHTING
An argument between you guys is rare, you’ve got a good understanding of each other and know when to stop before things run away. Neither of you were particularly loud or argumentative at the best of times and so it was a pretty rare thing to happen. When an argument did happen, Oscar would get pretty cut up about it, he hated the idea that he had upset you and would work hard to make things up to you, particularly if he knew that he was the one at fault for your argument.
G ⇴ GETTING TO KNOW HIS FAMILY
His family absolutely adored you; you were a tad nervous to meet his family, particularly with his three younger siblings, but they absolutely adored you. Above all else, you loved making fun of him with his mum, particularly on social media where all of Oscar’s fans could get behind the two of you as well.
H ⇴ HOME
Wherever Oscar went, you went, when it came to home. When he originally considered moving out to Monaco he spoke to you about it a lot, wanting to make sure that it was something you wanted to do as well. When you gave him the greenlight, Oscar started to look at making the move, relieved to know you’d be going together.
I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”
He was the first one to say those three words after a race win. It was one that Oscar had fought particularly hard for and found himself overwhelmed at the end of it. As adrenaline ran through his body, the moment Oscar reunited with you those words came tumbling out before he even had a chance to realise what he was saying to you.
J ⇴ JEALOUSY
It was quite rare for Oscar to get jealous; he was pretty relaxed and chill about most things and trusted you more than he trusted anyone. If he ever did get jealous, then Oscar would get a little bit more protective around you, he’d stand a little closer and make sure that he was listening to what people were saying to you. He’d never admit it, but you could tell from the look in his eyes sometimes that Oscar was feeling a little envious.
K ⇴ KIDS
Having a family was something that you both knew was quite a way off, but that didn’t stop you from talking about it from time to time. Oscar especially knew that you were the person that he was going to settle down with and spend his future with, although he still had plenty that he wanted to achieve when it came to his career before he even started thinking about all those other things in life.
L ⇴ LAUGHTER
If there was one sound that Oscar never got bored of hearing, it was definitely your laughter. His deadpan sense of humour could leave you in stitches sometimes with how nonchalant Oscar was about things. He didn’t even mean to make you laugh most of the time, but with his dry jokes and blunt comments you couldn’t help but chuckle around him. Oscar loved knowing that he was the reason for the smile on your face, even if he didn’t realise that he was the reason for it sometimes.
M ⇴ MISSING
He tried his best to hide it well, he didn’t like upsetting you by telling you just how much he missed you. But Oscar did miss you. Terribly. He was a different person in the paddock when you weren’t around, he was quieter than usual and would be a bit more distant in meetings, something that Lando picked up on quite a lot during their race weekends together.  He was constantly wishing that you were there with him, checking his phone all the time to see if he had a text or a missed call from you.
N ⇴ NICKNAMES
He didn’t have one particular nickname for you, Oscar would just call you whatever came to mind, usually choosing a nickname that he knew would annoy you as he loved being able to wind you up.
O ⇴ OBSESSION
Oscar was obsessed with your smile, it made him feel like he was home. His heart raced whenever he saw your wide grin, knowing you were happy was the most important thing to him.
P ⇴ PDA
The two of you weren’t huge on PDA, however everyone knew that the two of you were together from the little gestures that you shared. Oscar tended to hold your hand and keep you by his side, particularly when you were entering a busy area, wanting to keep you by his side and out of harm.
Q ⇴ QUESTIONS
He asked you for your advice on just about anything, Oscar would ask you for help whenever something was playing on his mind, knowing that you usually had the right answer to help him out.
R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS
One thing that no one knew about Oscar was that in the bottom of his race car he had a picture of you. It was positioned so that no one else could see it aside from him, but when he needed a bit of a boost or to see a reminder of you, Oscar would glance down at it. He’d made sure to pick one of his favourite photos of you so that he could remember why he raced, particularly when he was missing you.
S ⇴ SEX
He liked to take control when it came to sex, Oscar wasn’t particularly rough, but he was the more dominant out of the two of you. It meant a lot to Oscar, he made sure that each time was special and filled with a lot of love. He quite liked being able to show you how much he loved you, words weren’t particularly a strong skill of Oscar’s and so he loved being able to show you with actions instead.
T ⇴ TEXTS
Whenever he could Oscar would text you, especially when he wasn’t at home. He loved receiving your updates and hearing from you, mostly so that he knew that you were safe without him around.
U ⇴ UNIVERSE
He didn’t like to make it too well known, but Oscar’s little bubble knew exactly just how much you meant to him, you were his priority and by far the most important person in his life.
V ⇴ VACATION
Whenever he had a bit of time Oscar loved to arrange trips for the two of you so that you could escape for a while. Adventuring with you was by far one of Oscar’s favourite things to do, although he saw much of the world, there were always more hidden gems around for you to see too.
W ⇴ WHINING
Although he wasn’t particularly needy, when Oscar wanted your attention, he would kick up quite the fuss to make sure that you knew all about it.
X ⇴ XXXXX
He loved kissing you when you least expected it, creeping up on you and pressing a kiss to your cheek or against the top of your head. He wasn’t the biggest kisser in the world and so Oscar knew that when he did kiss you it would usually come as a surprise. He didn’t like to just kiss you, he loved kissing you with sentiment and love, knowing that his kisses would often leave you feeling nervous with adrenaline.
Y ⇴ YOU
You were his team mate, the two of you were the perfect duo together.
Z ⇴ ZZZ
When he falls asleep, Oscar loves to hold onto you. His grip is as tight as possible wanting to keep you warm and make sure that you’re right by his side and not going anywhere.

Paring: Jacaerys Targaryen x reader
Warnings: Swearing, smut
1.02
Your fingers grip the loose fabric of your shift that was bunched up to your stomach while desperately biting down on your lip to stop any unwanted noises from slipping out.
Jacaerys had returned to his own quarters before you woke, but he came back while you were breaking fast alone in your bedchamber. He offered to teach you the basics of sword fighting later in the day, which you found exciting because you’d never held a sword before. Being a woman, you were expected to remain a spectator, but the prince was more than happy to help you learn.
You meant to give him a simple kiss on the cheek to thank him, but it quickly became heated.
“Oh.”
You slide down the chair ever so slightly as Jacaerys tightens his grip around your legs, his fingernails lightly grazing the flesh of your thighs. He was rubbing circles on your clit again to bring you pleasure as he did the night before, except now he was using his tongue.
“Princess!” Elinda gasps, her voice filled with surprise and embarrassment. “Prince Jacaerys. What are you doing?!”
Jace falls back on his heels, cheeks flushed red. He remains frozen for a few seconds, then gets to his feet. The prince was at a loss for words; what could either of you say?
Elinda keeps her head low. “The queen has sent someone to the training yard to inform you to go join the queen's council immediately, my prince.”
You swallow thickly as Jace leaves the room. Elinda closes the door behind him and, without saying anything else about what she just witnessed, goes over to the bed where you have multiple dresses laid out. “Have you chosen one to wear today?”
“The crimson one.” Your fingers tangle together. “Forgive me, I... I’m sorry for what you just saw.”
“Once you're dressed, you are to join the Queen's Council princess.”
Elinda was known for her gentleness and would have been shocked by what she just witnessed, but there was a sadness in her eyes that you didn’t understand. “Why is the meeting urgent? Has something happened?”
You stand in the chamber of the painted table, listening to various knights and lords as they inform Rhaenyra of the heinous acts committed against your sister and her children the night before. With the little information Elinda shared with you, you had expected to be told ill news, but nothing could have prepared you to learn of blood and cheese. At first, you hadn’t reacted, but anger was now bubbling inside you.
“But it's a lie,” Rhaenyra says, defending herself against the accusations she was behind the assassination. “Having lost my own son, that I would inflict such a thing on Helaena, of all people, an innocent.”
“The death of Prince Lucerys was a shock and an insult,” Ser Alfred, one of the men on the queen’s council, says. “A mother so aggrieved might, naturally, seek relief in retribution. I merely thought an action taken in haste may have led to the death of the child.”
“Jaehaerys.”
Ser Alfred shifts angrily where he stands. “What?”
“That is the third time you have referred to my nephew as ‘the child;’ his name is Jaehaerys,” you say, glaring at him. “The queen has already said she wasn’t behind this, and to even suggest she would order the decapitation of her own kin is dangerously close to treason.”
Rhaenyra avoids making eye contact with anyone, saying, “I do not know who would order such a thing.”
Daemon, who had remained stone-faced while everyone else was horrified, starts to smirk when Princess Rhaenys shoots him a look, and it suddenly dawns on you that he was behind this. Rhaenyra notices this as well and orders everyone to leave.
You go to walk towards Jace, who was waiting on you by the doorway, but your queen calls you back, “A moment y/n.”
“Your grace.”
Daemon remains seated with a smug look on his face while Rhaenyra gives you an apologetic look. “I truly hope you believe I had naught to do with what happened to Helaena and Jaehaerys.”
“I do not think of you as cruel, my queen.”
“There is another important matter we need to discuss,” she says in a more authoritative tone.
Oh gods, she knows what Elinda saw.
Rhaenyra toys with the rings on her slender fingers, obviously uncomfortable. “It’s regarding Midnight.”
“What of my dragon?”
Rhaenyra opens her mouth, but Daemon speaks before her. “Will you fight for your queen and burn the usurper cunts when the time comes?”
“I would fight for my queen, for Prince Jacaerys, but I would not fight for you, uncle.”
He chuckles, “You speak of Ser Alfred’s treason, yet you are openly saying you’ll not fight for your king.”
“Why should I do anything for the king consort, who is so weak that he has a child struck down?”
“Sister,” Rhaenyra’s tone wasn’t authoritative like a queen’s, but more like a mother warning her child to start behaving.
“It was a mistake. I paid them to bring me the head of Aemond Targaryen.”
Tears glisten in your eyes. Daemon smiles at you; he didn’t even seem remorseful for what he had done. In that moment, you wanted to make him hurt and make him suffer for what he had done. Your fingers curl around the edges of the table as you stand across from him; you know what threads to pull. “I was the closest to my father in his final years; I’d read out loud from his favorite history books while he was abed, and when lucid, he’d tell me stories of his youth. Of your parents, of Balerion. He’d always speak so highly of Rhaenyra and Queen Aemma, but with you it was different. He never forgave you.”
“Forgive me?”
“He never forgave you for making a mockery of his wife’s death.”
“You girl, speak nothing but lies.”
“Was the heir for the day comment made in jest?”
Daemon slams his fist against the table and abruptly knocks his chair backwards, causing it to land on the ground. Startling Rhaenyra, her kingsguard hands move to the hilts of their swords. He storms towards you and attempts to intimidate you by towering over you, but you don’t flinch. “Do not speak of things that happened before your whore of mother even married my brother.”
“Daemon!”
He glances at Rhaenyra, then back at you, “I have always protected my family.”
You laugh in his face. “You had to pay someone to kill a defenseless six-year-old boy because you weren’t man enough to go after my brother yourself.”
“I’ll have your tongue cut from your mouth and you thrown into a cell till the end of this war.”
Shaking your head, you walk away from him, “You’re pathetic.”
Your finger traces over the spine of the book in your hand. This version was older than the copy you had in the red keep; it was a favorite of yours. Without looking back, you ask, “How long do you intend to stand in the doorway?”
“What’s the story about?”
“It’s a fairytale; I used to read it to Jaehaerys and Jaehaera. A princess is taken prisoner, but the daring prince swoops in on his dragon and saves her, but it seems foolish now.” You hold the book closer to your chest, trying to hold back from crying. “I let them believe our dragons keep us safe.”
“I think it's better that way,” he says. “Keeps them innocent for longer.”
“I spoke out of turn during your mother's council.”
“Ser Alfred needed to be reminded of his place.” Jace sits on the edge of your bed, facing you. “I know the feeling of wanting to lash out while grieving those we’ve lost.”
“I don’t understand why he thought it was okay to question your mother like that.”
“To put it plainly, men get stupid when a woman has authority over them.”
“You don’t.”
“No, but my queen is my mother,” he smiles. Seeking comfort, he holds onto the side of your skirt in a non-sexual manner. “I admire your spirit; it pleases me to know you will defend her when needed. I spoke with my mother before I came here; Daemon has gone to Harrenhal.”
You suspect they discussed more than what happened in the council chamber, and that was why there was a guard waiting at the bedchamber door, which had remained open.
“A dragon should know when to show its teeth.” Sighing, you toss the book down onto the bed and take Jace’s hand. “I will apologize to the queen; I shouldn’t have let my emotions get the better of me.”

SERIES MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
The lights are low, casting a soft, warm glow on the room, making it feel almost too cozy for the storm of emotions swirling inside of you. Penelope sits across from you on the other side of the coffee table, her vibrant personality seeming muted for once. She’s not wearing her usual bright colors, just a simple oversized shirt and pajama pants, the kind of clothes that scream comfort. It fits the night. It fits the conversation.
“You want to talk about it?” Penelope asks, voice gentle, but still full of that spark of energy that only she has. There’s no judgment there. Her eyes made you believe there never would be.
Your fingers tug absentmindedly at a loose thread on the hem of your sweatpants, the silence stretching between you like an invisible barrier. But it’s not an uncomfortable silence. Penelope doesn’t push. She doesn’t know you well enough to push. You’re not sure how to start, not sure how to talk about something you’re still struggling to process.
The night had consisted of making cookies, watching sickeningly sweet romance films you both gushed over — there were numerous times you had to stop your mind from drifting to Spencer, and when it did, you felt a sickening ache in your stomach. For the most part, besides those moments where the room fell quiet and your mind drifted, the night had been great.
“He just... stopped,” you whisper, voice barely audible, but Penelope catches it. Her eyes soften, and she leans forward slightly, offering silent encouragement for you to continue. "One day, Spencer was there, and the next... he wasn't. Theoretically of course..”
Spencer was different to anyone else you met, or at least he seemed that way. You thought he understood you. The way he listened, the way his eyes softened when he looked at you, the way he made you feel like you could breathe around him. No one had ever done that for you before. But then, when things had started getting real—when you both were on the verge of making it official—he disappeared. You couldn’t help but wonder if maybe it was a commitment issue thing. Or if he really just had been playing with you the entire time.
“I don’t understand why,” you continue, the words tumbling out faster now, as if saying them out loud will make them make sense. “One day, we were close. He’d text me every morning. He’d ask how I was feeling, what I was doing. He made me feel… seen. Like he actually cared. And then, nothing. No calls, no messages. He just—”
“Ghosted you?” Penelope finishes for you, and the bluntness of the term hits you harder than you thought it would. You nod, feeling the sting of it all over again.
“He just disappeared,” you say, the words coming out harsh, jagged. You laugh bitterly, but there’s no humor in it. “Like I wasn’t even worth an explanation.”
Penelope’s hand reaches across the table, her fingers curling around yours in a comforting squeeze. She doesn’t say anything for a moment, just lets you sit with the weight of your own pain. But her presence, her warmth, makes it feel a little less suffocating.
“I’m so sorry, sweetie,” she murmurs, her thumb brushing over the back of your hand. “Spencer… he’s complicated. I don’t know why he did this to you, but I can tell you for sure, it’s not your fault. It never was.”
You close your eyes for a second, trying to swallow down the hurt, but it lingers there, a dull ache that refuses to fade. It’s not just about Spencer ghosting you; it’s about all the hope you had pinned on him. You thought he was different, thought he could be the person who made you feel safe in a way you had never felt before.
You couldn’t help the embarrassment you felt, all you had been thinking about for days was ‘how could i be so stupid.’ You had your guard up for a reason. You didn’t date for a reason, and the fact that you had let him let you forget that. You were so mad at yourself.
You missed Spencer more than you were willing to admit. Sleep evades you, and when it comes, it’s restless—haunted by the ghost of his touch. Your limbs grew weary, not from movement but from the effort of carrying the silence he left behind.
Your lips twitch into a bitter smile. “Yeah, well, maybe that’s on me. I was stupid for thinking it would be different.”
“No. Absolutely not,” Penelope says firmly, her voice suddenly fierce in a way that surprises you. “No. You were not stupid. You opened up because he made you feel like you could, and that’s on him, not you. He gave you the signals. He made the promises, and then he broke them. Spencer—he’s got his issues. He’s been through a lot, but that doesn’t excuse what he did to you. You deserved better.”
You pull your knees up to your chest, hugging them tightly as Penelope’s words sink in. It’s hard to believe that sometimes, that you deserved better. Spencer had made you feel like you could finally let your guard down, but in the end, it just made the hurt cut deeper. — Maybe thats all you’d ever deserve.
“He made me feel safe,” you admit, your voice breaking slightly. “Which i know sounds stupid— But— I don’t know.. I trusted him.”
“And then he took that away,” Penelope finishes, her voice softening again, filled with understanding. “It’s okay to be hurt. It’s okay to be angry. You opened up to him because you trusted him, and he didn’t treat that trust the way he should have.”
You nod, biting your lip to keep the tears at bay. You hadn’t wanted to cry tonight. You hadn’t wanted to break down. But being here with Penelope, his friend, his co-worker, who was so sweet and so understanding, it’s harder to keep everything bottled up.
“I just don’t get it,” you say, voice shaking. “Why would he make me feel like I mattered, like we were something, and then just leave?”
Penelope sighs, leaning back against the couch. “Spencer’s not great at dealing with his emotions,” she explains gently. “He’s always in his head, analyzing things, trying to make sense of the world. But feelings aren’t always logical. And sometimes… sometimes he runs from things he can’t control.”
You shake your head, a bitter laugh escaping your lips. “Well, he sure ran fast.”
Penelope gives you a sad smile, squeezing your hand again. “I know it doesn’t make it easier, but sometimes people can care about you and still hurt you. It doesn’t mean what you had wasn’t real. It just means he is an idiot.”
You stare down at your hands, the weight of her words settling on your shoulders. Maybe she’s right. Maybe Spencer did care about you in his own way, but that didn’t change the fact that he left you when you needed him most. It didn’t change the fact that you were still trying to pick up the pieces of your heart while he was nowhere to be found.
“I mean, he’s so damn smart, right? So.. So smart, always figuring things out. But apparently, figuring out how to treat people isn’t part of his skill set.”
Penelope chuckles softly, though there’s no real humor in it. “Yeah, sometimes Spencer’s great at solving every problem except the ones that really matter.”
“Yeah, no kidding,” you mutter, shaking your head. The frustration still courses through your veins, and you grip the fabric of your pants tightly, trying to channel it somewhere, anywhere. “I’m not going to sit around waiting for some half-assed explanation either. If he wanted to tell me why he bailed, he would have.”
She nodded her head. “He is dumb.” She said.
A laugh passed through your lips as you nodded quickly in agreement. “How is he so smart — and sweet yet such a fucking coward? I’m so pissed that he couldn’t even end things in person — that he didn’t even say anything.” You ran your hands down your face.
Penelope smiled. Maybe you were being mean in order to deflect from the hurt in your heart and the way your brain fizzled with an overwhelming ache for the comfort of Spencer. “Are you sure you don’t want me to ask him about it?” She asked.
You were quick to shake your head. While you were desperate for an answer of what you could have possibly done — you weren’t desperate enough to go through his friends to get an answer. You refused to give him the satisfaction of knowing you cared so much. “No. No- Please don’t— Does he even know we have been talking?” Penelope was quick to shake her head with a grin.
“Nope! I haven’t said anything to him.. I sent a photo to JJ earlier of your bobble head collection, but I highly doubt she would’ve just shown Spencer?” She mumbled, shrugging her shoulders slightly. The words made you frown, yet glad. You didn’t care about Penelope sharing your silly bobble head collection, it was something you were very proud of.
“I don’t really care if he knows. Is it bad I hope he is really mad? Like I hope he is really really pissed off about it. Is that petty?” You tumbled out the questions as your mind swirled. You hoped he was mad because at least then in some way maybe you could believe he cared.
“Yes. Definitely petty.” Penelope nodded, a playful smile on her face. “But— If anyone has a right to be petty, it’s you.. You’re handing this better than I would. i’d want to egg his house.” She shrugged, the words made a string of laughter leave your lips.
“I really really do want to” You said honestly, “maybe then he would have to say something” It was silly, but it would lie to say the thought hadn’t crossed your mind. It was childish, and immature and so petty, but leaving someone with no explanation was also just as childish and immature so in your head, it evened out.
“I reckon he would start crying” Penelope giggled.
“God I hope so.” you huffed out, running your hands through your hair before a small smile made way onto your lips as you looked up at the blonde women. The last thing you expected was to get along so quickly with the girl. You had expected it to be awkward between the two of you, but it wasn’t. You two spent hours watching silly chick-flics and laughing, before this conversation even started.
“Thank you- by the way. For this” you mumbled, referring to her just being there. She didn’t have to. She didn’t know you, she didn’t owe you anything, she was Spencer’s friend, not yours.
Penelope grinned widely, “Don’t thank me. I love boy genius but he can be such a tool sometimes without even realising it. He fucked up and you need somebody, plus who else would make sugar cookies with me?” She teased.
You curled up by Penelope’s side, smiling at her gently. You really were grateful. “Speaking of sugar cookies, do you think we could frost them yet?”

Hello ! Just so Agatha all along and I have a request if it's ok 😊
How Agatha will convince witch!reader who has a crush on her to join her in the witch road 👉👈
Gn reader if possible
Thank you ! 😁
Tumblr media
Agatha would probably be aware of your feelings in all honesty, and she couldn’t blame you! She’s amazing!
However she’s probably use this infatuation with her to her advantage when her and ‘teen’ come over to your home, following the trail of magic that drew them there. It was noticeable, stronger the other witches she’s recruited but still there was room for growth and new powers.
‘What tricks are we going to have to use to recruit this witch/wiccan?’ Teen asked Agatha as they stood on your doorstep.
‘No tricks, this one’s got a little thing for me, it’s adorable but it means that most of the work in convincing them has been cut out for us.’ Agatha replied as she went to knock on the door, only for it to open on its own to reveal you on the other side.
‘How did?’ Teen questioned.
‘I could sense you the moment you drove into the driveway, your magic is far more potent than others.’ You answered as you stepped to one side with a welcoming smile. ‘Want to step inside and continue this conversation because I don’t think the neighbours will want to hear about the sales pitch you’re bound to give me into joining your cult.’ You add.
‘It’s not a cult it’s a coven.’ Teen interrupts but you weren’t listening when Agatha moved past you, making sure to brush her hand against the back of yours as she does, and immediately you felt your resolve to stand your ground crumble like a deck of cards. It must’ve been obvious as teen only looked at you knowingly as he past into your house and once they were both inside, you shut the door harder then you should’ve but at this point you wanted this to be over with.
‘Go on then, convince me to join you on your journey to the witches’ road.’ You crossed your arms over your chest.
‘I’m assuming you’re more than aware of the fact that if you were to make it to the end of the road, any wish your heart desires can be granted.’ Agatha started.
‘I do know this factoid, yes.’ You said and Agatha crept closer to you until you were a hair’s width away from one another as she now spoke lowly. ‘Then I’m also lead to assume that you know that extends to crushes, infatuations, all that important stuff also.’
‘Yes but I’d much rather the feeling to be mutual without the usage of magic, as ironic as that sounds.’ You replied as you stared deeply into her beautiful eyes.
‘And it can be,’ Agatha whispered as she grasped your hands with her own, intertwining your fingers, ‘I really need you by my side y/n as my moral support, my confidant and my strength during the most difficult situations that we’ll face.’ Agatha could see that you were buying her sales pitch into getting you on the witches road, but knew she couldn’t stop there and decided to make this visit short and sweet she adds.
‘I wouldn’t want anyone else to join me on the witches’ road other then you my dear, you have the potential to be the most powerful witch/wiccan in our coven. All those other witches can barely hold a candle to your fire. I need you.’ She finishes and teen had to give it to Agatha, she was certainly an actress when she needed to be as he watched you both as though he was watching his favourite drama.
You were at war with yourself. You swore that you wouldn’t resort to magic for even the most simplest things, never less the witches’s road, you knew the stories of how dangerous it was but your infatuation with Agatha tended to lead you into doing something stupid; even agreeing to going on the Witches’ road with nothing but the hope that Agatha might actually see you for once.
However before you could reason with yourself, your mouth moved faster then your brain could intervene with logic and common sense. ‘Fine, I’ll join.’
‘Yes!’ Agatha and teen cried as Agatha brought you into her arms, holding you tight so that you didn’t see the smirk across her face, that wasn’t so hard if anything it was barely even took her five minutes to get you to say yes; she didn’t understand why she didn’t come to you first just to get it over and done with, every other witch before you was a tougher nut to crack then the last. You were merely the reward for a hard days work.
‘You won’t regret this darling, that I promise you along with power, love and so much more.’ Agatha tells you as she rubs your back.
You poor, idiotic fool, let’s pray you do survive the road and not die with a broken heart when you realise the truth…

— °˖ ⊹ ꒰ 🖋️ ꒱ someone else's familiar ; agatha harkness (agatha all along)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
#.                   being a familiar to anyone wasn't as easy in the long run as it started out, being in love with your enemies familiar proved to be another horrible challenge to face
content warning;          female-bodied reader, angst, time jump to the past, reader is rio's familiar, shapeshifter! reader, | 0.6k words
a/n.                                        don't ask please, i need this woman and i'm feeling sad over it so have this angsty thing... happy reading !!! ofc this is not how I see rio, but just for plot purposes :/
Tumblr media
the purple witch found it quite intriguing that the earth witch herself was willing to take up a familiar such as yourself for the first time ever. she dragged you around like a puppy in training (given you could have turned into one it would have been easier), picking you up from the dirt like a kid how she grabbed you by your shirt to lift you out of the mud and blood, stuffing her potions back into your hands.
"didn't i tell you to stay behind me?" agatha hears rio snarl at you, bending down to pick up the cloak that slipped from your shoulders and throwing it over your head, completely ignoring that it would obscure your vision.
"the salem seven has an urgent message for you, earth witch." you mumbled behind your hand as you wiped the mud around your mouth with the back of your palm, being careful without letting the potions in your arms fall once again. "I don't have time to stop and listen to a mouse wince about messages and do my job."
you say nothing back, just square your shoulders before continuing to follow rio's pace. agatha just watches on as the two of you disappear, her mind no longer occupied by the woman from all those years ago but you.
she went around, and asked locals in the village who you were, why were you so special to the earth witch, and why you were handled in such a way by her. none of the villagers were sure, not even the older witches had any idea why would a witch like her anchor a shapeshifter like you.
and she helps you up a little gentler than her when the two of you cross paths, offering her hand, and putting her other one on the middle of your back to make sure you don't fall over again as you try to gather yourself. she stares into your eyes for a second, with a quick jump of her gaze to your lips that have a couple of drops of blood on them, a cut close to one of the corners, and looks a little dry like you have been licking it out of anxiety.
agatha tries to say something and she surprises herself with how her voice chokes in her throat, that defeated look on your face moving something inside of her she didn't know was there. it surprises her how you didn't fight back, tried to attack her- assuming that rio had warned you about her, that's what you should have done.
"are you always this generous with people before stealing their magic?" your words were cruel, like barbed wire squeezing agatha's heart that was so fascinated with you despite not knowing your name. so rio did tell you about her and what she was up to, not that she had planned on doing something to you other than help at this moment, get you back to your 'handler' because she couldn't have you for herself.
the earth witch was your anchor to this world, you had given up your individual freedom to stay on this earth for some reason, and despite your hardship next to your master you seemed determined with your chosen path it seemed.
she didn't want to shake your beliefs, try her magic to sever the bond between you and rio.
for someone so selfish like her, it's all too out of character to care about a puppy like you.

The Southern Raiders: so, demon Zuko brought out the worst in poor, innocent Katara…
What did Zuko do to deserve this accusation coming from some people among the fanbase? I rewatched The Southern Raiders the other day and spend close attention to catch up on what they could possibly mean.
So, what does Zuko do to Katara after the Gaang flees from Azula?
He looks after her and is holding an appropriate distance while asking her, calmly, why she still can’t trust him.
Tumblr media
After her response he realizes: Oh yeah, I wronged her the most. Followed by asking how he can make it up to her and understanding what she needs, even though she is giving sarcastic answers.
He offers Katara a chance to face the killer of her mother, so she will be finally able to receive closure and begin the process of healing. This is an exact parallel of Zuko facing Ozai on The day of the black sun. He could’ve just left and join the Gaang, but instead he chose to face his father first: because he needed this.
(Furthermore, he spared Ozai, the same way he spared Zhao even back in S1; that goes against the frequently used argument that he definitely expected Katara to kill Yon Rha coming from some people.)
As I mentioned before, I paid close attention during my rewatch
At no point is Zuko pushing Katara to do anything she doesn’t want, nor does he do anything else to release her dark side.
Am I the only one picturing an incubus-like Zuko whispering in Katara’s ear, every time someone claims that?
On the opposite: He is listening to her and is offering support while facing her biggest trauma. The same goes for the actual field trip: he is nothing but supportive, doesn’t push her to do anything and is standing aside, so that Katara can receive closure under her own conditions—which she did, and she forgave Zuko because of it. Not only that, she even gives him a tight hug out of deep gratitude. Would a person act like this towards somebody who brought out the worst in them? I highly doubt it.
Tumblr media
But then why is Katara showing a dark side, some might even say, she is OOC?
I genuinely don’t get the OOC-part... She is very in-character, and her dark side has nothing to do with Zuko. It’s Katara being presented as an actual human being with feelings. Imagine that...
Why is Aang allowed to show a dark side? I never heard anyone complain about him in those specific situations. But Katara, despite raising her voice before and showing her rage in many situations during the show, is suddenly acting OOC when it comes to The Southern Raiders.
She is about to face her trauma and to meet her mother’s killer, of course she won’t be the happiest person in the world, more nervous and angry, lashing out if someone tries to stop her. Yeah, and even going as far as to use bloodbending when finally meeting the (wrong) man.
Tumblr media
Doesn’t mean her feelings aren’t justified, and it wasn’t Zuko who brought them up, but the situation alone.
That’s all this is
A person facing her trauma, thus showing very natural darker feelings in this situation, after suppressing them for years. Of course, it was hard for Katara, but she agreed on this trip because she knew she needed it. It was the right thing for her to do—and Zuko is the one who gave her a chance on this, nothing more, nothing less.

I've been using this platform to vent too much recently but unfortunately y'all gotta listen to one more.
Found out I had to work the weekend of a friend's wedding next month and needed to pull out. I told her we wouldn't be able to make it and somehow it devolved into accusations of ending a friendship. A past roommate of ours who we longer speak with who is in the wedding randomly reached out to my partner to guilt him, claiming he was letting me 'end a 10 year friendship' and it was 'so disappointing'. We haven't talked to this person in three years. I defended him and it resulted in this mutual friend (who had already blocked me after I said we couldn't make it) texting my partner saying I cheat on him and they have receipts and a confession (?). For context, I spent my mid 20's in a haze of prescription meds, alcohol and aforementioned roommate's uppers. Quite frankly there are entire nights I have zero memory of, and I've told my partner anything I'm unsure of that could've happened. I know for a fact I didn't have sex with anyone else because frankly I would've felt it the next day and I had intense fear of penetrative sex for most of my 20's. These friends also know my history with sexual violence that led to this fear. Any 'evidence' would be at least five years old because I stopped prescription medication abuse with the pandemic (not really by choice but the one blessing I take from that nightmare). Basically, I've found myself back in that headspace of shame but also betrayal: these friends never tried to help me, they encouraged the substance abuse and now they're trying to blackmail me with things I apparently did but have no recollection of. I exhausted myself in the shadow of shame for years, and I'm so thankful for the grace my partner has shown me and taught me to finally show myself. We're in a place now where we're open to others in our relationship anyway, but it's the principal of thinking I'd step out on him intentionally without his knowledge that has stuck with me. I feel taken advantage of, both by people I thought were my friends and by the person I was: I had this tendency to put myself in harm's way because I thought I deserved punishment of some kind, so even if I don't remember everything I did I do know it's a small miracle there haven't been greater consequences for my recklessness at that time.
I'm about to celebrate 10 months of sobriety next week. I feel like I've made a lot of progress. It's just hard to know that I'm still that troubled man in their minds who would carry a secret or actively hurt my partner, and they likely spent these years with resentment of which I was unaware. I suppose the takeaway is that sometimes we have to leave people behind, I just hate the idea that I'm so low in someone's estimations that they would think I'm incapable of growing. I apologize for the wall of text but sometimes I just need a sounding board.
💝 Jonathan

Rei-Demption: A problem and my solution (ft. Rei's trauma and Hori's bullshit)
Might as well give my shot at it.
My take on Rei's personality has always been based in suppression.
Rei's whole life has been a balancing act of doing enough to protect her family, while still staying within the lines to not get disposed of.
She's everything Enji isn't. An iron will, a golden heart and a strong sense of empathy.
So with that in mind, hopefully it she'd light on it thought process with this post
A theory I have is that Rei was aware of the hospital's corruption
Tumblr media
These panels always felt off too me, it always made me wonder: "does she know?"
The wording is very specific.
"I told him I liked it, around the first time we met. But only once"
It always struck me as odd, We're talking about the man who looked at his eldest death and kept going, man who destroyed multiple lives for a redundant pipedream.
It's not even why would he remember such a small detail, but rather how?
Unless... the doctors are feeding him information.
Think about it, who pays for all this. Surely it's not Fuyumi, on account of this being a massive money sink.
You really expect her to pay for all that on a teachers salary?
It can't be Natsuo because Enji has likely cut him off from everything to his name.
And that's assuming Enji even bothered to save up a college fund for any of them. Plus Natsuo is a full time student of medicine.
If the doctors are watching her every move, looking for any sign of deviation from the narrative then it makes sense for her to disguise her words.
Of course there's still more
Having PTSD isn't something you can keep someone institutionalized for. Especially when Rei's is very proportionate, given what she's gone through. (No, Japan's stigma of mental health wouldn't justify this)
I mean what are Rei's triggers?: Enji and that's about it.
"But we still... haven't met face to face, I'm still too afraid"
That's a standard reaction to have to your abuser (especially when he raped you multiple times)
Tumblr media
('Just stop' gets a whole lot darker when you consider it's context)
Not to mention she's no longer fearful of anything resembling Enji, just Enji himself. So there is no real reason to keep her there unless they are afraid she might speak out.
This whole thing makes me think she's trying to tell Natsuo and Fuyumi what's really going on, in a way.
Subtly and under the calm, complacent mask she's expected to wear, in case anyone else is listening. Anyone who could report back to him.
It might also be she doesn't trust them. Fuyumi or Natsuo could blab or say something within earshot that could set Rei back months.
And she can't have that, not with how close she is to finally breaking free. She loves her children, all of them but the trust just isn't there, how can it be when when they don't have all the pieces.
So here's my theory: The hospital staff are in Enji's pockets. Either taking bribes (as recent as Dabi's Dance) or they were given a large sum of hush money when Rei was first hospitalized, with the goal of keeping her there as long as possible and possibly molding her to either keep her mouth shut or (sickeningly) gaslight her into returning to Enji.
(Note how she was only released when they could no longer keep a lid on things, the moment Dabi frops the bomb. She's out, no struggle)
This paints a picture of grotesque corruption, sloth and apathy (the very same cocktail that created Shigaraki) even by Hori's narrative standards. Shedding light on just how deep MHA's despotic nature goes.
The anime makes this even more apparent. Rei's fake smiles make the whole thing that much more viable. She seems so dead, it's like she smothered her soul or something.
I've seen both the sub and dub of this scene. The sub is the correct translation, the same as the Manga panel above.
The Dub however, while severly off mark, adds it's own flavour of dread. Rei sound so hollow, it was jarring the first time I heard it.
It sounded like she was reading a script (in-universe). Like she'd rehearsed this in her mind a million times, staring at the same 3 white walls + the window and waiting for an opening to finally speak.
That was supposed to be Shoto, until the dorms ruined that. Suddenly Rei's lifeline is gone, reduced to letters that don't even tell half the story.
10 years, 10 fucking years reduced to lines on a page.
Can you imagine the despair, dear reader?
The frustration. The sheer vitriol coursing thorough her veins, far hotter than Touya could ever manage.
Having to do the same thing she's been doing even before she was locked away. As the the skeleton in the closet of a criminal with a license.
Wearing masks for so long you can hardly breath and in the brief moments you can take them off. You can hardly recognize yourself, how you once were.
It must be the truest form of hell.
The Rei-demption Arc
Rei's redemption arc takes the attention of our theoretical arc without overtaking it.
The arc would mostly focus on the more domestic aspects of our trio being: Midoriya, Shoto and Uraraka.
A few minor changes would occur. The dorms never happen, allowing the characters to exist outside of UA.
There is solid confirmation that Fujiya is corrupt and is keeping Rei institutionalized on illegal grounds (ie: not meeting the criteria set up to ensure her silence)
The dinner scene would still happen only it would bd framed for what it really was. A pathetic attempt at creating a moment that never existed.
There's no family with Enji.
Just a family held hostage and a tyrant. I have my own grievances with Fuyumi, but I'll leave that for the future.
The only difference besides Natsuo being properly portrayed as a victim acting well within his right, the reasons for our trio going would be for Shoto's emotional wellbeing, because he asked them to.
Uraraka could have a moment where she realizes that money is as much as good as it is bad. An actually decent shift into her change of goals.
Here Enji motivates her to "watch the watchmen". Her need for money is still a crucial part of her reasons for becoming a hero, but she also has a more front and center goal.
I'd imagine she has a moment parallel to Midoriya's during the Sports Festival.
Where (alone in front of the Dojo after the failed dinner) she rightfully calls out Enji for being a self pitying piece of shit and that "sorry" doesn't cut it.
"You've hurt them in ways you can't imagine." Would probably be the last thing she says before walking away.
She may not know the whole story but she knows it hurt them and that's enough.
Rei's ascent
Rei's biggest hurdle is accepting that she was also an abuse victim. She's furious but she's only furious on her children's behalf and what they lost.
Her unintentionally harmful actions weigh on her, be it her neglect or the night she scalded Shoto, these events have impacted her deeply.
She learns to reconcile with her past, improve her relationship with Shoto and even meets Shoto's friends at one point.
Eventually she finds closure but that's later on.
She also acts as an advisor at times, having given Shoto the idea of using Ice projectiles (as seen in the Licensing Exam)
The second half comes from the Hospitals corruption, as Rei learns that she is long overdue for release (by about 8 years) among other horrific practices. This would play out as the arc's B plot, building up to what I call "The Summit"
The Summit
Eventually Rei fights Hood.
After gathering the evidence, she escapes the hospital. Planning to go to Natsuo for protection. As she's walking across a crosswalk however, she hears what sounds like an explosion.
Eventually she hears screaming and is forced to use her quirk as a bus is suddenly sent hurdling in her general direction.
As of her body moved on its own, she envelops it in her ice. Stopping the bus and saving those behind her in the process.
Only to see Hood land on top. They lock eyes and Rei can't help but see Touya in Hoods ambition.
In response to Rei holding her ground, Hood dashes. Rei counters this by manipulating her ice to send him crashing into an empty building, impaling him on the glaciers end.
Hood is impressed by Rei's proficiency and chooses to fight her.
Rei having no experience, fights for her life. Where as Rei avoids Civilians, Hood has no care for them which forces Rei to play the role of hero.
Rei uses every weapon in her arsenal in order to stave off Hood, who only gets more relentless as the battle stretches on. The upside is Hood's regeneration struggles in the cold, which Rei is constantly producing.
Each side gets blows in, with Rei taking them surprisingly well but still being worse for wear. Hood notes this saying "as if y-you've done t-t-this before" (close, Hood very close)
Eventually Hood gets the upper hand, towering over Rei in a manner that triggers her PTSD and leaves her stunned.
One of the civilians (Horoshi Tameda) emboldened by Rei's efforts, picks up a loose chunk of pavement and chucks it at Hood's back. It hits, causing Hood to look back.
Civilians begin making loud noise, others begin picking up anything they can find and throw it at Hood. Further catching him off guard long enough for Rei to snap out of her episode and strike back.
From here the fight kicks into high gear, with Rescue heroes & paramedics arriving on the scene and a camera crew recording the fight from above. Overall I imagine the scene to be very uplifting, with the Orchestra swelling as Rei prepares a final attack.
The move rivals that of Shoto's, arguably even surpassing it. Hoof is incased in a prison of Ice, covering an entire city block worth of destroyed buildings. And the fight finishes with Rei collapsing to her knees.
From here on out things change. Rei's newfound fame leads to the hospital being forced to do their job. Because of this Rei gets out early (around the time the Internship arc would started had I not scrapped it)
As for what this could lead to I'll let you decide. I'd love to read some suggestions.
Bonuses:
Theories:
The reason they kicked Fuyumi from her job is because she covered an abuser's ass for years. While Fuyumi is a victim, it doesn't excuse her complacency in regards to Enji's treatment of Shoto before and after his "self pity" arc.
Natsuo didnt go to someone because he wouldn't likely be believed, being seen as bitter and untrustworthy (his time away from home wouldn't help with pinning evidence).
Extra:
Hood survived the fight, Rei opted to capture him as opposed to kill him. That doesn't mean he didn't get frost bite. Police found out it is very difficult to question a Nomu.
Out of all her trauma. Rei accepting she was never given a choice will be the hardest to accept.
Rei's family is not inbred, rather her parents ran away so her father wouldn't be forced into a marriage with his cousin. Only to ironically do the very same to their daughter.
Hiroshi still becomes a meme, his 'Can't you see speech' leads to him becoming a motivational speaker.
The reason Hood appeared is because Dabi lost track of him. He nearly had a heart attack when he discovered his mom was holding the Nomu off.

I’m primarily interested in the fellowship, but I would love to hear your thoughts on anyone else as well on
1. The weirdest non-food item each character has eaten
2. Why they ate it (thought it was something else? Dare?)
3. Would they do it again
This is so Pippin coded. This was too fun
Eating non-edible items
Aragorn:
1) A bite from a foam football
2) He was a feral child
3) He wouldn’t swallow it again but he would bite again
Legolas:
1) Fake grapes
2) Thought they were real
3) Yes because he still thinks they were real
Gimli:
1) Silica gel packets
2) The “do not eat” is clearly a challenge and he’s no chump
3) No. He seriously regrets it and won’t admit he ever tried
Boromir:
1) Poisonous berries
2) He saw Legolas eating them
3) Never again; Legolas was fine but Boromir couldn’t stop shitting for a week
Frodo:
1) Sand and mud
2) Good texture and abundant
3) Possibly
Sam:
1) Playdough
2) Listen; he made pretend burgers and obviously he had to try them
3) Absolutely. Might not like it much anymore but it tastes like childhood
Merry:
1) Electrical chords
2) He didn’t eat it but he chewed right through it on a dare
3) Will try to get them again saying the “zap was thrilling” but no one lets him near chords anymore
Pippin:
1) Do any of you remember that blue tack they used in school to pin up posters? He would eat that shit
2) Because he was the kid that put everything in his mouth
3) He wouldn’t eat it now but he does reminisce about it like it was a delicacy
Gandalf:
1) Urinal cake… unused
2) He saw it in a store and it has cake in the name so obviously he had to try it. Didn’t realize it wasn’t actually cake.
3) He finished it out of stubbornness but will never do it again
Faramir:
1) Pink wall insulation
2) Hoped his dad would care and stop him Thought it was cotton candy
3) No
Denethor II:
1) Bleach
2) Idk who…wasn’t me…but he was poisoned
3) No because he’s dead
Gollum:
1) I was going to say babies but they technically are edible…
2) Do we need a why?
3) Definitely. Bringing your kid around him is like those people who walk their tiny dogs by gator ponds

I have to get this out, so I have this idea, that.. you know how the “dark sides” sort of get listened to..? Not by choice but by force.
Janus snuck in and Impersonated Patton and got a seat at the table. Remus knocked out Roman and got a whole hour episode to himself. Remus was feared by everyone the whole time. (Except Logan...)
I’ll come back to that in a second.
So maybe, the orange “side” it isn’t necessarily a new side, my thought is he’s (Logan) always been the orange side. he won’t stop being logic. Just orange.. LOL. (Cause we have two blue sides.. is that suspicious to anyone else? No? just me okay.) Anyway.
Back to what I was saying earlier.
All Logan wants is to be heard, recently he hasn’t been, maybe he would be desperate to do anything? Not “joining” the dark sides.. but kinda playing the part. Take that as you will, “Playing the villain, playing the part.” Whatever floats your boat. Playing the part of the villain, like Janus did ,or Remus.
Remus has been the one poking the stick at the bear by provoking Logan and making him yell at him.
Maybe their trying to make Logan reach his limit. Why? I don’t know.
Just an idea..
(I also hope Virgil notices Logan spiral just like how Logan noticed Virgil being anxious in Nostalgia pt2)
(I love talking about this, you wanna debate or talk about it let me know.)

asking you about your fan obesk. tell me about your fan obesk
grins so wide
so, here are my kids! Zizakita Qou Kizan, Skolanevra Tir Senti, and Mivanscheki Vel Kortezut!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ziza was a surface ("field") biologist on Obeski, largely focusing his studies on guktik due to having an immense fondness of and connection with them (in short- he's guktikhearted, he just doesn't have a word for it). [Recollection I wrote about that.] Despite being seen as kind of a weirdo, he was extroverted and enthusiastic, always looking for a chance to ramble about his work to anyone who would listen. He eventually went to Earth to study Earth fauna as part of the Communion division in the Embassy, which he was also very passionate about until he perished in the Collapse. (More details on that later ::::3c)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And as extroverts are prone to doing, he grabbed a couple of introverts and made them all the most important people in each other's lives(/deaths).
Skola was a gaurd who accompanied Ziza on the surface. She was the kind of bottled up and repressed where everything seems entirely normal and fine until one gaze, you realize she's never once said a single thing about herself. Ziza's brazen earnesty and openness were aspirational to her. She never quite got there, but she did open up little by little the longer she knew him. He was the first person outside her family she ever told of her identity as a "dragon" (inhereted context closest cultural equivalent etc. etc.) from Vaznian folklore. [Recollection I wrote about that.]
She followed him to Earth, though she was part of Exchange instead of Communion. Her focus was on stories- she shared fiction and folklore from Obeski with the cousins, and in turn she studied fiction and folklore from Earth. She died protecting Ziza in the Collapse, only for her husked corpse to later be the thing to do him in.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
And finally, Ekiva's #1 most joyless vel. Accomplished parasitologist, highly respected name in their field, bearer of the naturalist's curse of knowledge, and the only one that's still on the stage because they didn't go to Earth- Mivanscheki. They've made more of a name for themself as a scientist than Ziza ever quite managed to, but their immense intellectual appreciation of the most reviled organisms on all of Obeski socially isolates them. At first, it was an isolation pushed upon them from the outside, but by the time Mivan became an adult, it was one intentionally sought. They are jaded, bitter, and see the general populace of Obeski as a bunch of irrational dumbasses (that they still ultimately want the best for, despite it all). They live in their lab and usually avoid talking to anyone outside their field if they can help it. Their respect is difficult to earn, but Ziza and Skola did indeed earn it. It was just a brief overlap in Ziza and Mivan's research that caused them to meet, but they ended up bonding over appreciating the creatures that no one else did.
Now Mivan is left to wish they had gone to Earth- not under any illusion that they could have stopped the tragedy, but just so they could have been there for Ziza and Skola during that nightmare.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Uhh wow that ended up really long lol anyway I hope you like them!!

Story summary;
Bèiké gets summoned by the party for the first time to help assist with a nasty Yaoguai, and the “Tranquil Princess” surprises the Monkey King with her method of handling the situation.
This story is 18+, it deals with mature topics, themes of punishment and psychological torture and threats of assault. But please read with care.
—————————
The monk had been captured again.
It was weekly at this point, but saving the virtuous Tripitaka was truly a challenge this time.
The Water Yaoguai that had snatched him while he was getting some water had taken him beneath the waves at the mouth of a great river that fed into the Ocean. This Yaoguai called himself the Bā tuófēng yěmán rén (八駝峰野蠻人) ((eight hump savage))
While normally Zhu Baije and Sha Wujing had no issues fighting in the water, they were both better suited for the fresh waters of rivers, lakes and springs and where their unfortunate master was being held was where the ocean began. The salt stinging their eyes, the force of the tides making it hard to stay in position.
They tried thrice to save their master, and failed thrice, much to the increasing annoyance and Frustration of a certain Stone Monkey who wasn’t used to being useless in a fight.
He was about to fly off to conscript the help of the bodhisattva, QuanYin when he was stopped by his companion and a women who’d been sharing his frustrations - the Phoenix Maiden. She pulled out a Silver Pearl and voiced that Maybe they could ask the lady of the waters for help.
The Monkey laughed at first, having seen the adopted princess a couple times while he was in Heaven, and shook his head. There was no way the slender woman in pretty fabrics, who spent her days listening to the whales moan out their songs would know anything about combat.
The Phoenix Maiden scowled at him and mentioned that at the very least, she could move the water away. She could make it so the Monk was no longer imprisoned underwater.
The Monkey paused as he thought through the pros and cons, and then nodded.
And so, the Phoenix Maiden dropped her Pearl into the water and said the incantation the entire party was taught.
Everything was still for a moment before there was a rippling of water from beneath her and the Maiden’s face appeared from the blue. Pausing to look up at her from the water before rising halfway out of the waves to look upon the person who summoned her. The blue of the waves covering her modesty, and her hair rid of all the clips, pins, flowers and ornate styles Sun Wukong had remembered her having. Only the pearls remained.
“You summoned me.” Not a question, not a demand for an explanation… simply a calm statement. But one the Phoenix Maiden took as a question anyway as she began to hurriedly explain the situation. Zhu Baije and Sha Wujing filling in any blanks when they came to sullenly join the group once again in defeat.
The Maiden of the Water didn’t so much as blink as she listened to the situation, though when she heard the name of the Yaoguai they were facing, her brow furrowed a bit, then looked at the river that emptied into the Ocean. “You are sure that this Yaoguai set up his domain in the ocean? Not the River? It does pass the border?”
“Yes Princess! You can feel the salt stinging your eyes and the currents trying to drag you further out to sea!” Zhu Wujing snorted in irritation, though still doing his best to remain respectful before the Royal Maiden.
The Maiden nodded, turning to the ocean and contemplating her next move.
“What’s the Plan Bèiké? Is the Lady going to break down the door and demand a Kowtow?” The Monkey snickered
“You Stinky Ape! How Dare You-“ Zhu Baijes outburst was interrupted when the Lady simply got to her feet and stood so only her ankles were still submerged in the water.
“You always were amusing Great Sage. After your rampage, the Jade Palace was so quiet.” She shook her head and murmured. “You were always Brave too, I haven’t heard that name from anyone but my mother in near 700 years… I miss hearing it from others… I’ll give you pilgrims permission to use it. It’s easier to speak than my other titles…”
“Still…” She raises her hands as the ocean begins to rumble and bubble. And with a great burst of movement, the Yaoguai’s Palace - and the floor on which it sat - was rejected by the ocean and spat out, floating on the surface, resulting in cascading waterfalls and massive waves that beat the shore from the displacement.
“Demanding a Kowtow does sound… reasonable… this Yaoguai in particular - if it is the same one who has lived here - was supposed to stay in the river. If I recall correctly, the dragon in which he insulted drew out Clear boundary and territory lines… it appears those have been ignored. Truly insolent.”
She turns to the group, and smiles. Though it strangely empty, not reaching her eyes. It made it all the more chilling. “Stay here… I will deal with this personally seeing as it pertains to my domain… it would’ve have come to me eventually anyway even if he hadn’t been so brave has to interfere with a journey tasked by the Merciful Buddha.” She shakes her head. “Do Not enter, no matter what you hear. Once I open the doors again you may come in and retrieve your master.”
Sha Wujing stepped forward. “My lady I must protest, as a member of the royal family, I can’t in good faith allow you to enter such a hostile place alone.”
The Yín zhēnzhū gōngzhǔ - with the same smile on her face - gently patted the larger warriors arm. “Good faith or not, it is My order, please follow it. He won’t be able to hurt me, he is of my domain.”
The displeasure was clear on Wujing’s face, but he nodded all the same as he took a step back and the Maiden took one step forward before melting in with rest of the waters. Leaving the reluctant party behind… minus one.

———————————————————-
The Yín zhēnzhū gōngzhǔ didn’t bother to knock. Simply reforming into a human form on the inside of the door, in the greeting hall. She didn’t bother to wear her royal regalia, wearing a simple and plain Haori made of water to cover her modesty, her hair down and absent of the pins, jewelry and clips that a woman of her status was entitled to, save for the silver pearls that were ever present on her body and entangled in her hair.
She debated on summoning her trident, but decided against it… The signature weapon would succeed in sending a message sure, but what she had planned… the threat wasn’t necessary.
The water that still filled the greeting hall came up to her knees. It was truly a lovely greeting room… too bad it belongs to a shameless beast. The tranquility of what the hall could’ve been was ever ruined by the sounds of panicking servants in the distance. Most likely surprised at seeing their underwater palace suddenly above the waves.
She flicked the water from her fingers into the air, causing everything to still. And her voice rung out. “Bā tuófēng.”
The resulting silence was deafening, and the Water Maiden knew that she was heard.
Heavy footsteps beat against the floor before the door swung open and the Yaoguai, Bā tuófēng yěmán rén entered the room, and upon seeing who stood in his Greeting hall, Froze.
Becoming a maneater had done him no favors, his normally obsidian and golden scales now a sickly shade, his once dark eyes now had a white film over them as they bulged out of his skull, his great fangs now chipped and a disgusting yellow, his proud fins shriveled and torn, his once strong body now twisted, flabby and bent. The eight humps that once stood high on his head like a crown, were now wilted and puss-filled.
The Maiden gave almost a mournful sigh at seeing how the once proud warrior had fallen… all because his Pride couldn’t accept his wrongs. “Oh my dear Bā tuófēng… Time has not been kind to you…”
The Yaoguai snapped out of his shocked state and immediately fell into a Kowtow. “My Lady!” His voice was raspy and gruff, thick with mucus and bile. “You’ve come to grace my hall! Truly a prosperous day!”
“What were you doing in the ocean Bā tuófēng? Have the years made you forget that you were banished from it?”
The Yaoguai froze before looking up at her, taking in her expression as she gazed coolly back down upon him, waiting for his answer. “M-My Lady! The River didn’t offer the nutrition I needed! I’m still so close to the shore! Surely that dragon can allow me a bit of territory…. Perhaps… PERHAPS! If YOU were to help plead my case! I can take back what I once had!”
“That river is prosperous… it has been for years… it just doesn’t have easy access to your preferred food, does it?” She narrowed her eyes. “How many fishermen and children have you eaten Bā tuófēng? Did you learn nothing from your banishment? I see you’re still a useless beast.”
“You Damned Wench! I will not be subjugated! I Will have the power I deserve! I am Bā tuófēng yěmán rén! A woman shall have no rule over me!”
The Yaoguai jumped back and began to laugh as he began to summon the water to move to his will.
“Oh virtuous Yín zhēnzhū gōngzhǔ! The bitch who refuses her role as the fairer sex! I shall show you what power is! You’re not the only one who can wield that trident!” He cackles again, spittle flying from his mouth. “And when I defeat you! I shall take you as my wife and we will feed on that monk as our wedding feast! I’ll teach you the joys of marriage.”
The trident formed in his hand it glowed and rattled with the power of the water and he went to lunge at her, ready to prove his strength.
To show the Maiden of the waters he was no normal Yaoguai! To teach that royal wench that just because she held a crown and a title, she was just another powerless princess.
One hit was all it should take, her slender body would break.
Just one H-
“Enough.”
His body froze. Paralyzed.
The trident burst into liquid, melting from his grasp.
He tried to break free of the paralysis, but he wouldn’t budge. It only made him fight against the invisible hold harder.
The Water Maiden watched him struggle for a few moments before sighing. “I knew you were never the wisest… but you’ve surprised me all the same Bā tuófēng. Normally, I would simply pass my judgement and be done with it. The pilgrims need to continue their journey and I have other responsibilities to tend to. The world has plenty of water to be managed you know. It’s hard to be everywhere at once…”
She took a few steps closer to him before gravity released its hold on her body and she began to float, going to sit in the air in front of his frozen form so that her face was level with his.
“But I find the need to mentor you before you take your punishment. You seem to have misunderstood my role in this world…” she gave a girlish giggle and tilted her head, gazing upon the beast in front of her with amusement. “You seem to have misunderstood… what exactly I am…”
She extended her arms out, the water coming alive, glowing and rippling. “I… am water. Despite what many believe, I am not the lady in charge of the waters, I am not the daughter of the waters, I am not even born of the waters.”
She lowered her arms and rested a single hand on her chest. “I, am the personal personification of all the water that flows in this world. I, am Water. And everything that is made of water… is me.”
She laughs again and rests her hands in her lap and she ‘swims’ in the air a little higher to be above Bā tuófēng. A visual that is not lost on him. “I meant it when I said it’s hard to be everywhere at once you know.” Her hands rest on her face, gently pulling her eyelids wider as she looks down on the Yaoguai. “When you are quite literally almost everywhere, it’s hard to be in any one place! If that makes sense, I don’t expect you to understand.”
An eye opens on top of the water beside him, causing him to flinch in his paralyzed state.
It looks exactly like the Yín zhēnzhū gōngzhǔ’s eye…
“To be able to see everything, to always be everywhere!”
Another eye opens within a tiny waterfall that’s still falling from the roof of the room.
“It’s hard to keep your sense of being and identity… being stretched so thin. And eventually - in order to exist in polite society - you have to learn how to tune it out. To focus on where you are now.
Eyes appear on the walls around him.
“Because water is everywhere.”
More eyes open around the room, and dread begins to fill the Yaoguai.
“Water is within most of everything!”
Her human form begins to ebb as she takes on a more liquid form, her hair and body merging with the water that is still in the greeting hall to form a giant figure that dwarfs the petrified Yaoguai. Her voice is still the same.
“And what most so often seem to forget…. Is that Water is apart of most Everyone.”
Bā tuófēng cries out in pain as he feels some skin on his arm slit open, when he looks down, he’s horrified to see an eye blinking back at him… Her eye…
He lets out several more yells and shouts as he feels his body begin to split as more and more eyes emerge on him.
“You wanted to make me your bride? Dear Bā tuófēng, I’m already apart of you…” She giggles once more at her own awful joke. And begins to mess with the blood within his body to prove her point.
When he can’t take it anymore he screams.
“MERCY!!! PLEASE MY LADY HAVE MERCY!! FORGIVE THIS WRETCH!! IVE LEARNED MY LESSON! PLEASE SHOW MERCY!” He sobs out
He goes limp when the pain drains away, falls heavy into the water as the paralysis fades. The water quickly beginning to turn red.
The maiden of the waters almost falls back into her human form, the eyes all around the room close. And she stands over the fallen Yaoguai. Looking upon him with still glowing eyes as he is heaving and panting from the exertion his body was just put through.
She sighs then closes her eyes and steps away from him. Going to stare out a window. “Did you know that the heavens call me the ‘Tranquil Lady’? I was confused by the title at first… storms rage, oceans feed hurricanes, riptides and swift rivers kill the distracted and clumsy, floods are ever unpredictable, and even the mist and fog can cause the most seasoned traveler to get lost forever… For so long, I thought they had confused me with my Royal mother. She is the one who calms the storms and protects the sailors. She’s the one who can even command me to sooth my rage…”
She turns back around and leans on the windowsill.
“And then I realized… it’s because I’m not outwardly reactive. I had them all fooled you see, they thought me incapable of rage, of vengeance, simply because I never saw a point in giving them a visual reaction.”
She began walking slowly to the fallen Yaoguai again, who was trying, and failing, to move.
“The storms that would come and destroy their property afterwards were never associated with me, it’s was simply nature being unpredictable as ever! It was almost insulting if it wasn’t so hilarious.”
She knelt in front of the pitiful soul in front of her. Her voice still in that gentle cadence.
“But I am vengeful my dear Bā tuófēng, I am easily irritated when disobeyed and threatened by someone whom I’ve shown mercy too in the past… I am even quicker to feel anger towards someone who causes disturbances, in my domain especially….”
She reaches down and gently lifts the Yaoguai’s chin, forcing him to look at her. “And even more than the last two, my rage is so intensely summoned, when I am underestimated, and when my position and rank are laughed at. When my Pride, is insulted.”
She drops the Yaoguai’s face none too gently back into the red waters.
“Dear Bā tuófēng, as the Maiden of the waters, it is my responsibility to ensure that all the waters of the world are flowing correctly and being utilized properly…”
She stands and her eyes beginning to glow once more.
“And you, Bā tuófēng yěmán rén… have become a waste of water…. So I’ll be taking it back.”
Bā tuófēng yěmán rén felt pure, undiluted horror shoot through his body like a lighting strike, but was unable to get out a word before a seizuring pain unlike anything he had ever experienced overtook his body.
The screams that erupted from his chest were awful and caused the stones to crack and the windows to burst. They almost drowned out the wet sounds of flesh and bone ripping and tearing… almost.
It seemed to go one forever before it abruptly stopped as quickly as it began.
The Prideful and Insolent Bā tuófēng yěmán rén was no more… his punishment complete.

The greeting hall had been painted red.
It dripped from everywhere and the thick scent of iron assaulted the Great Sage’s nose as he watched from his position on the wall as a little fly.
To say Sun Wukong was shell shocked was a bit of an understatement. He had lived for a while and had seen many things. But what he had just witnessed in this hall was something he never could’ve predicted.
He had followed her, ready to defend her… and mainly because he was curious and didn’t like being ordered by the royals…
Even still, he had expected to have to intervene and protect the slender princess from that half rotting Yaoguai.
Part of him was impressed, he didn’t think the Princess whom he’d seen kowtow so easily, whom he’d seen submissively drop her gaze and dance and sing poetry so delicately for the entertainment of that senile emperor had it in her to be so authoritative.
The rest of him…
The rest of him was almost terrified. It made his fur itch and his tail twitch for all he was still in the form of a small fly.
It was a feeling he wasn’t all that used to. Not since the battle of the Samadi Fire… not since the moment who knew he had failed the Buddha’s bet and couldn’t escape the consequence…
This was no delicate princess, this was no “Tranquil Lady”…. And now seeing her, seeing and feeling the aura that wrapped around her like a second skin… he found himself wondering how he had ever been fooled into thinking otherwise.
How did the Heavens not know what she was? Did the Jade Emperor know? Did the Buddha? How had she even come to exist?
Why would she help-
“I am pretty sure when I ordered everyone to wait, you were apart of that conversation…” Came a sarcastic, almost exasperated tone that shook him out of his thoughts.
He focused back on the princess to see her staring right at him with an expression that looked somewhere between miffed and bored.
Knowing he was caught - and not trusting her to not give chase if he ran - he transformed back and somersaulted down onto his cloud, not wanting to dirty his clothes in the blood that covered the Halls.
He shrugged, feigning disinterest. “I already spent 500 years under a mountain for displeasing the Heavens. I wasn’t too keen on what the punishment would be if I had let one of the esteemed Jade Emperors favorite daughters come into harm. Especially one so merciful and forgiving as you.”
She stared at the Monkey King for a tense moment before the princess huffed out a soft laugh and Sun Wukong felt the danger pass. “What a silver tongue you have Great Sage, spare me your spurious sycophancies.”
He gave an exaggerated gasp as he placed a hand over his heart, grinning. “I say my lady! This handsome monkey king speaks no falsehoods and serves only to please! Though I am most impressed that the famously tranquil Yín zhēnzhū gōngzhǔ would so willingly allow herself to get her delicate hands dirty for the sake of justice. I’m so used to the royals having others met out punishments.”
He gestures over her dirtied form. Indeed, in her punishment of the insolent Bā tuófēng yěmán rén, she too had been covered in his blood.
Pointing it out seemed to allow the princess to realize her appearance. She took in her clothes and the rest of the room. She removed one of the pearls from her hair and crushed it in her hand before sprinkling it in the bloodied water.
“I assume my appearance is alarming. Though I usually I wouldn’t consider blood dirty…”
The red water rippled and suddenly the blood began to vanish, the room being cleansed.
“After all… blood is just the water of Life. Even from a Yaoguai, it’s not a dirty thing. It’s simply another form water can take.”
The blood that covered her turned into water once more and the last of the Iron Scent faded away.
Sun Wukong shook his head, finding himself confused by the Being before him, and increasingly glad she was tasked to aid them and not challenge their journey. “When I saw you in Heaven’s courts I took you for a willowy, fragile and humble little thing. You have fooled me! I am delighted! Not many have fooled me! I see now you are capricious! That is much more interesting! You are a most disconcerting woman Bèiké.”
She raised her eyebrow at him. “And a stone monkey that can fly through the sky isn’t? Go save your Master, Great Sage. And be thankful you aren’t of my domain. I would dunk your furry head in icy water if you were.”
He grinned and bared his teeth at her playful threat. His cloud already raising to speed to his master. “Maybe next time princess! If I’m to be greeted with ice, mayhaps I’ll greet you with some fire heated stones down your dress!”
“Awful Monkey!”
He laughed as he dodged a water spicket that shot in his direction and went to go retrieve and console his poor mortal Master.
The “tranquil” Princess could banter and play! What joy!
He couldn’t wait to tell his dear friend, the Phoenix Maiden, and his brothers of his discovery! He wonders if they’d even believe him!
What joy! What joy indeed! The Monkey King had found a fun game!

Stuck in the Ghost Zone
One of the heroes goes to the GZ by accident. For whatever reason, they take this to mean that they're dead even when others try to tell them that they are definitely alive. This isn't all that bad at first, but then the hero got themselves imprisoned by Walker. And now they have 1 or 2 more heroes trying to break them out of Walkers prison, while also believing they are dead when they aren't.

just finished moving around/reorganizing my entire bedroom. i have cried three times today but now i’m laying in bed, my room smells of roses, and i’m eating french bread. this was not the bipolar hot girl mania i was promised but damn if i don’t do it well
#i haven’t been sleeping well at all whatsoever for the past two weeks and it’s gotten to the point where my dreams are so vivid but not just#like ugh i can’t explain it on here because im not about to open a whole can of worms like that in my tags and be like revealing#family secrets.#essentially i am having normal dreams but they are horrendously vivid and of no real purpose.#i woke up fucking like completely upset this morning and then started crying#my roommate thinks it’s because i haven’t been sleeping + everything else going on#and like ya know what she’s PROBABLY right#but even still i just need my body to LISTEN TO ME and stop being all sensitive!!!#i legitimately almost texted the loml this long text today and thank fuck i didn’t because who knows where that would lead#but i’ve been having dreams about them too and it’s frustrating me. like the universe is trying beyond all measure to push us back together#and i just have to keep saying no. it’s like this test of morality except it never fucking ENDS and the consequence is actually pleasure and#relief beyond measure. like— to even just kiss them again? to hear them say my name again.#whenever we’re out at the same time i can feel them staring at me and i can see them in my peripherals watching me#just fucking forcing this love into me. the feeling of their hands on my body and all of their questions about how i’m doing#god i can feel all of it.#i nearly fucking threw up last time a few weeks ago when they kept watching me and i got so overloaded with emotions and my fucking stomach#wouldn’t stop turning. but anyways right like— i cannot be with them and i don’t want to be. like yes im still attracted to them and yes i#feel all of these feelings but it stops me dead in my tracks when i remember what they said and the things they did.#i am not the woman who bends my convictions because i love someone. i can’t be that person. i won’t be that person. not for anyone and#not for them. but i see them in my dreams anyways and it is all too real and too present. it’s hardly ever the present so why. why why why?#it makes me terrified thinking that i will one of these nights just say yes and they’ll kiss me and everything that means anything in myself#will virtually mean nothing. like i won’t be a good person because i’ve knowingly allowed them to have me.#so anyways yeah and the fact that my snapchat memories and everything else are just FILLED with pictures and videos of us is killing me.#i really am scared that i’ll just give in. and what worse is that i would just double down and not tell anyone. i wouldn’t fucking#tell a soul if we did anything because i just know it isn’t right. and the fact that i know i wouldn’t be honest means i KNOW it’s bad.#so what the fuck. the fuck am i supposed to do when i have all these dreams and even just the ones about my mom and my brother#my family- i want to talk to them about it. i want to fucking cry to them and tell them how much it hurts that they hurt people and i’m just#some occasional exception to that because they love me. and i want to fucking scream. i want to know why. i want to fuck them until they#can barely breathe and then do it all over again. i want to feel their perfect fingers inside me and i want their mouth on mine. i fucking#HATE that they couldn’t be a good person. ugh okay anyways why did you read this??
