in a hypothetical english dub for TOT, who would your dream cast be?

like don't get me wrong, i love all the VA's in their respective languages and think they're all spot on and would be okay if an english dub never came out. But food for thought, ya know? kinda like fantasy sports teams? LOL

this question is SOOOO INTERESTING OH MAN. like yea, deffo agree, the cn/jp/kr voice actors r perfect in every way to me, to the point that even if an eng dub comes out, im not gonna use it kJBKJSKDF im too attached to jp vas.....[marius voice: ONEEEESAAAAAAN] but yeah it's cool to think about!!!!

so here's zak's tot eng dub va dream cast!! complete with explanations, because when have i ever not rambled

vyn is somebody i, unfortunately, imagine to sound british. or some kind of european accent. in addition to that, im looking for a voice that has an air of elegance and hoity toity-ness. and the only va that came to my mind was Yuri Lowenthal ala how he voiced eng Clive in Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. but like SOUNDING OLDER. bc clive is like some kind of teenager and thus has some high pitched/voice crack moments. vyn would be this but deeper, smoother, and generally just lower in pitch

artem is somebody i also envision a low voice for, but in terms of vibes, it's less of a floral garden path like vyn and more of a dark, polished wood. LIKE, IT'S SOPHISTICATED BUT IN A MORE GROUNDED WAY. like instead of this voice making me go "huh what an elegant dude" it makes me go "huh what a steady, reliable dude. somebody to trust and also somebody i want to hear give me compliments on my writing." and my va for this is Logan Cunningham ala how he voiced Achilles in Hades. but this voice is again, british (or something, idk anything about europe) and i dont think artem would sound british. he would sound like this without the british, a dude i would want audio asmr of giving me sweet and sincere comments about my skills, calm and assured, just the most earnest and honeyed praise

MAN, HERES THE THING. I CANT FUCKING FIGURE OUT WHO I WANT TO CAST AS MARIUS!!!! because what i love so much about his cn and jp vas (i havent listened to the kr yet) is how playful and mischievous he sounds. and also how WHINY. and so i went thru the archive of my brain, looking for characters from tv shows or eng dubbed anime or video games, looking for a voice that made me want to kiss that character after first punching that character in the face.

and sadly....i found nobody...

(because i honestly havent watched/played many medias sjfsfjhdshJKSDF)

i'll continue to think about marius!!! but for now, i have no answer :(((

and currently luke.....honest to god, i can only see being voiced by Christian Banas ala how he voiced eng Thoma in gnshn because like. eng thoma sounds like the SOFTEST FRIENDLIEST DUDE ON THE ENTIRE FUCKIN PLANET. the voice has cheer, excitement, sometimes an endearing kind of embarrassment, and every time eng thoma goes "hhhhaha" i die a little bit from how cute it is. all of these vibes fit luke so much. mister christian banas, sir, how does it feel to have voiced the goodest boy? WOULD U LIKE TO VOICE ANOTHER ONE???? thank u for making the philippines proud...
