"what are you doing?" he asked, gesturing to your limp figure. you prop yourself up on your elbows and stared back at cyno, "i wanted to feel like a leaf." you replied. cyno stared at you for a moment, before walking towards the windows. he reels the curtains back and shoves the window panels open, allowing a gush of wind in. intrigued, you stand up and watched as cyno began making his way back to you. "what are you doing?" you question cyno who was standing behind you now. cyno reaches under your arms and swiftly lifts you up, earning a shriek from you. "pretending that i'm a tree."

standing at the entrance of the cafe, the melusines snicker and giggle. they nudge your calves, signalling you to enter. hesitantly, you step foot into the quiet cafe. you looked around, trying to find the guy the melusines have been trying to set you up with for the past 2 months. you nervously searched, looking for a man who was sitting by himself. when your eyes landed on a secluded seat by the windows, you almost fainted. with languid footsteps, you walked towards neuvilette, who had noticed you when you walked in. neuvilette stood and pulled out your seat, "have a seat," you gave him a small smile as he settled back in next to you. "i remember you, i bumped into you a few months back," neuvilette said, eyebrows raised in amusement. that's when an epiphany hit the both of you, "oh." he mumbled. "that's why the melusines kept pestering me," you giggled, taking note of a few colourful animal ears poking out from the nearby window. "well, let's at least entertain their wishes for a little." neuvilette nods at your request, flipping open the menu.

the streets of inazuma were lively and full of colour, the evening sun settling in the background. your footsteps blended in seamlessly with thoma's, with your hand laid comfortably in his callous palms. "ow-" a quiet voice rang behind you and thoma. shuffling is heard as you turn to see a child laying face down on the concrete pavement. releasing your hold on thoma, you stepped closer to the boy. soft hazel eyes looked back at your own, glistening in the light. a smile etched itself onto your face as you extend a hand towards the boy, he hesitantly takes it as you gently lift him onto his feet. "are you okay?" you ask. the boy shyly nods, a wince escapes his lips just as quickly. glancing down at his limped foot, a small gash on his knee starts bleeding. with swift movements, you grab a napkin to gently dab at his wound. spectating from behind was an awestruck thoma, something felt so comforting about the interaction. without a silver of doubt and unequivocally, "she is the one."

SITUATIONSHIP—

alhaitham's embrace flushed against your weary skin. his room sat too silent yet too loud. the only sound you heard was the gentle beating of althaitham's heavy heart. his hands cradles your own, "i don't understand why you keep distancing yourself," a raspy whisper falls from your lips. alhatham instinctively draws your body closer to his own, his face moves towards the valley of your neck. feathery light touches grazes your forearm. "this was what i was worried about. you would be unhappy with how absent i am," the words hang coarsely in the air, cold to the touch but burning in your heart. you breathed in sharply. “this is why a relationship would be a bad idea.”

anger rose in your throat, “that's different. you're absent now because you're choosing to avoid me. you’re being selfish.” breaking free from his embrace, you turn and pin your fiery eyes against his emerald ones. however, he could only reply with a solemn look, “the probability this will turn out well is zero,” he replied. alhaitham knows how probability works, it can never truly be zero, but it can also never be ensured that this would turn out well. alhaitham is just a man that wouldn't take that risk.

curling in the comfort of your couch, you sulkily wolf down a bag of snacks. it has been officially 72 hours since the last time you heard back from diluc. the red headed man had disappeared without a word three days ago. after a night out, with a promise to pick you up the next day. it has been well over the decided time, and diluc is once again, a no show! a loud knock is heard against your door, there's a silent pause before another loud bang was heard. you pull your weight and drag yourself to the door. in front, diluc stood, a rare display of panic in his eyes, a bouquet of flowers clumsily clasped between his arm. you slant against the door frame, disappointed eyes stare back at his. "im so sorry, i just got so caught up on works and," he uncharacteristically fumbles over his words, guilt eats away at him as he eyes your sunken and tired eyes. you nod, looking at your feet. "i figured," there's a moment of ghostly silence. diluc hesitantly reaches forward, lightly resting his palm on your shoulder, testing the waters. when you don't push him away, firm arms wrap around your head, pulling you into his chest. a chaste kiss on your forehead, diluc gently rubs your back, "i'll make it up. i promise."

It had all started with some fun doodling; a couple of fun little drawings here and there when things were slow or during long flights. It hadn't been anything serious. Then, you attempted drawing landscapes; mountains, buildings, anything. Not just silly doodles.

Drawing helped you pass time, you enjoyed it and, if you said so yourself, you were quite good at it. Drawing people had always scared you, you weren't sure if you could get it right so you started with strangers, people on the bus or tram, in long queues, at cafes.

On one particularly long flight to Seattle you had drawn Hotch. His hard stare and furrowed brows as he read over a case made him easy to draw. Then it was Garcia, her bright smile brought you comfort. Then Rossi and JJ and Morgan.

And finally, Spencer, the cutest member. You could definitely see why Morgan called him pretty boy. His soft lips and hair beautifully juxtaposed his sharp jawline and slim fingers.

He was you're favourite to draw. You had around half a dozen drawings of the team by now; some individual, some in groups. But, your best drawings where those you had done on Spencer.

"Wow. You're really good." Spencer voice made you jump, nearly spilling your coffee over your drawing.

He had just gone to the jet's bathroom - you had been careful to hide your work as he passed by you.

"Spence!" you yelped, moving to clean up. "You scared me." you pressed your sketchpad against your chest, hiding your drawing from sight.

"May I see?" he leaned over and stretched out his hand - that gorgeous, slender hand of his. The one you had a couple drawing dedicated to in the very sketchpad he was reaching towards.

"No!" you said, a little too quickly. "I- erm-"

"Oh, that's okay, sorry for asking." he straightened up. "I just... well I thought that was a really good drawing. You made me look quite nice." his voice was soft, no one else could hear you.

Apart from the looks from that initial scream, no one was paying any attention to you two, everyone too immersed in their own thing to pay attention. You looked around, confirming no one was watching, and moved over in your seat.

"Sit." you said, patting the space beside you.

Spencer sat down, his thigh warm against yours, and smiled at you.

"Here." you offered him your sketchpad and hid your face in your hands, too ashamed to watch his reaction.

He opened the first page and oohed. You peaked between your fingers, wondering what he was looking at. It was your very first doodles. He pointed out some and smiled; his revolver, his favourite book, Morgan's headphones, Garcia's pens.

"I really like these." he said.

"Thanks." you mumbled.

He turned the pages, his fingers feeling the bumps and ridges of the drawing. He was particularly fond of the one you did of Vegas' skyline.

"That's amazing." he said, more to himself than to you.

You pulled away one of your hands and leaned over to him. His scent was overpowering in the best way possible; coffee, old books, and that new cologne he had been trying out.

He finally got to the one you made of Hotch. Spencer laughed out loud, looking up to his boss and laughing even more.

"Identical! Same expression." he whispered in between laughs.

"Thank you." you said, a smile appearing on your face.

"Oh and Garcia..." he laughed. "The same smile..."

He passed the pages - the first drawing you had done of Morgan made him laugh again. It had been of him flirting with Garcia; you had nailed his wicked grin.

Finally, he flipped the paged onto his section of the book. The first one you had done of him he had been reading a book, his fingers pressed against the pages and he read page after page.

"Oh wow." he whispered. "That's... it's amazing. You're such an artist. How did you manage it?" he turned to look at you.

"Oh, well, I dunno." you bit the inside of your cheek. He wasn't mad you had drawn him without permission or something? "You like it?" you asked.

"Of course! They're amazing." he reached out to squeeze your hand. "You're amazing. I'm really impressed."

You stared at your joined hands and your heart skipped a beat. "Thanks." you stuttured.

Spencer let go of your hand and went back to passing the pages. The next drawing, he had been fast asleep, an open book resting against his chest. He laughed at that one too, making some comment about how ridiculous he looked.

"Well, I thought you looked cute." you whispered, scared he might actually hear you.

"Yeah?" he said, looking over at you.

"Yeah." you said.

Spencer was blushing. He quickly looked away and flitted through the rest of the pages. He was especially impressed by the one of his hands ("wow, I had no idea they looked so..." "beautiful?" "creepy").

He closed the book gently and handed it over to you.

"I'd love to get a copy of some of those, if you don't mind." he was so close to you, you were afraid he could hear your heartbeat.

"Yes- no- I mean, I don't mind. I'll send you the original." you were having trouble trying not to stare at his lips for too long.

"You'd do that?" Spencer asked.

"Of course, since you were such a good subject." you laughed and stared into his soft eyes.

"I'd love to be an actual subject for you one day, since you're so good at it." he moved to stand up and you nearly whined as his warmth left you. "If you ever need a subject, let me know." he flashed you that sweet smile of his and made his way back to his seat.

You couldn't believe what had just happened. It took everything in you not to squeal and dance around like a teenage girl. You pressed your sketchpad against your chest and buried yourself deep into your seat, already thinking of all the poses you could get Spencer into.

i think i’ve rbed almost all the individual parts if ur interested in my more specific thoughts but this series has been an absolute comfort series for me for a while !! the relationships between the members and the reader - both platonic and romantic have been so lovely to read !! it’s such a genuinely warm series and the worldbuilding is also just soso fantastic !! it is a fantasy sort of au,, so it’s a bit daunting to get into just because the logic of the universes created in this genre is a bit difficult to grasp,, but uts has such an easy to comprehend world and everything is explained so clearly !! it’s genuinely one of the most comforting fics i’ve read this year and one that i’d highly recommend to pretty much everyone,, even if u aren’t a carat :D

my favorite svt smau that combines some of my fav tropes/aus (housemates and uni) !! ++ i’d argue there’s a found family aspect that just melts my heart soso much,, like the reader’s relationship with the 96 line, both platonic and romantic are insanely heartwarming and comforting !! the banter is so entertaining && all of the additional friendships are just to die for !! esp sana and yuta with the reader !! but honestly this smau is just soso sweet and a story where u really root for the main couple to get together bc they just fit each other so well !! def another fic i’d recommend to anyone !!

Within the chaos of New York, Andrew Garfield was captivated by the enchanting aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through a quaint little coffee shop in a small area of the big city. It became a daily ritual for him to visit, every morning at the same time without fail, not only for the coffee they sold, but also to visit the lovely girl behind the counter.

Her name was Y/N (he knew it from the small pin she wore on her uniform that said that name, clearly at that moment he didn't have the courage to ask her that) and she had a smile that could light up the room. Andrew couldn't help but be drawn to her warm and welcoming presence. Every day he found excuses to strike up conversations with her, whether it was her talking about the weather, the latest movies, or strangely delicious coffee combinations.

As the days passed, Andrew realized that his visits were no longer just for coffee; They were about Y/N. Every day he anxiously waited to cross the doors of that coffee shop to see her smile, hear her voice even for a short time and touch her hand when he grabbed his coffee.

Andrew discovered that Y/N had a passion for photography and art, a hobby she pursued outside of her job at the café. In the other hand, he had confessed her that they shared the same hobbies and that he had the privilege of working on something similar.

One morning, he decided it would be that day or he would chicken out again, so Andrew mustered up the courage to ask Y/N out on a date.

''Here you go'' she said handing over his coffee with the little note she always left in his cup.

Y/N's eyes widened with surprise, but a warm smile spread across her face. "I would love to, Andrew," she replied.

He smiled, relieved and excited. "However, there is one thing I want to mention," he added, a hint of apprehension in his voice. "I am in the public eye and sometimes people can recognize us. There may be times when someone wants to take photographs and I would like you to know that and keep that in mind, privacy is really not something I can have 100% and if you don't feel comfortable, I would understand that you would reject the date."

Y/N nodded understandingly. "Andrew, I don't care at all. I like you for who you are, not just the actor that people know. I may not get used to it at first but I don't want that to stop me from being able to date the amaizing guy I have infront of me. Let's enjoy our time together, and if photos come our way, we'll handle it together."

With those words, any lingering tension melted away. The couple went later on a lovely date, exploring the city, sharing laughter, and taking funny photos of each other. Y/N's genuine affection for Andrew was evident and her calming presence assured him that their connection was real.

As their relationship deepened, they faced the challenges of public scrutiny together. Y/N's support and understanding made Andrew appreciate her moments even more. Through the ups and downs, they stood by each other, a testament to the power of love that transcends fame and ordinary life.

You laughed at how eager he was to take you, soon enough you both were in the coolness of a small cafe. He had been planning on coming here for a few days now, and a morning date sounded amazing.

It had just opened, and was a new hit in the large city. It was also close to a bunch of other restaurants and shops.

“This place is amazing, swear, you’re gonna have your mind blown.” He said when you guys stepped in, the line was pretty long, but not that long.

“What do you get?” You looked at him.

“Teas amazing, so are the muffins jus’… order, promise you it’s the best shit ever.” He nudged your arm.

Soon you ordered and they were quick to come out with everything. Hobie grabbed his stuff, thanking the man at the counter.

You both sat outside now, talking and eating.

“You weren’t lying when you said this was good.” You said as soon as you swallowed. He smirked.

“I never lie, do I?”

You laugh and he smiles, and continued to eat. Then you saw a familiar face in the corner of your eyes. You stopped chewing and looked the other way, hiding your face almost. Hobie saw and furrowed his eyebrow

“What’s wrong?”

You leaned over to him, whispering to him.

He smiled slightly at your words which made you confused, he laughed again.

“Are you nervous?”

“Why would I be- no. I hate him. Ugh, and if he sees me-“

The same voice that belonged to your ex said your name. You looked at Hobie who was smirking and leaning back in his chair, arms folded.

“Hey.. E/N…”

“How’ve you been?” He asked with a smile. You forced a smile.

“Great. What about you?”

“I’ve been… fine.” He looked at Hobie who was just staring at the interaction, amused.

Hobie held his hands up in defense.

“Hobie.” He said, holding out his hand for your ex to shake.

“He’s my boyfriend.” You said quickly.

“Right… of course.” He said, glancing at Hobies hand but not shaking it as Hobie slowly retracted it with a small laugh.

“Well then mate, why don’t you run along?” Hobie said, waving his hand. You seemed uncomfortable when talking to the man.

“Right…” he gave Hobie a dirty look, and looked back at you.

“It was nice to see you… text me?”

“Mm….” You said, and he just walked away. You let out a sigh of relief and hit your head on the table.

Hobie laughed loudly now.

“Oh man, that was hilarious. Can’t believe you just had a run in with your ex while on a date.” He said, you groaned and hit his arm again, and then laughing with him.

“Shut uppp.” You groaned.

“Good morning Anton,” I greet the tall brown haired boy infront of me as I join the line to order, “Have you got practice today?”

“Hm, oh yeah. I’m just picking up some drinks for everyone then heading to practice.” Anton replies, smiling lightly at me.

The Boardroom Cafe has been a staple for every idol, trainee, and staff member under SM. Everybody loved it here, good coffee, amazing food, no fans disrupting their favourite idols peace and quiet.

“Next please.” The young server at the counter called.

Anton stepped up to the counter while saying a small, “Good morning,” then continuing to place his order, “Two large lattes, one large iced americano, one medium cappuccino, and three large mochas. All to-go please.”

“Sure thing, anything else?” The server questions.

Anton quickly looks over his shoulder at me before saying, “Yeah, one medium hot chocolate with oat milk, one and a half sugars, two marshmallows, and chocolate sprinkled on top please.”

“How do you know that?” I question while walking out of line with him.

Anton know looks very nervous and whats worse - his ear are getting redder by the second, “Oh, I’ve heard you order it before I think.”

“And you remembered it all?” I quietly laugh at the petrified looking boy standing infront of me.

He shyly nods at me while avoiding eye contact - I can see him fidgeting with his fingers while they are stuffed in his hoodie pockets.

“Oh, well, thank you.” I smile to him while we wait for the drinks in an awkward silence. I can see him fidget the whole five minutes we are waiting for the drinks.

“Here you go, enjoy!” The server says as she bring over the tray of drinks.

Anton is quick to grab my drink and hand it to me, “Here you go.” He mumbles.

Before I could reply Anton is straight out the cafe door, shoulders hunched, ears still red as ever.

From the corner of my eye, I can see the server staring at me. I turn to see her smiling at me before laughing and looking down while shaking her head.

7:13AM

A feathery feeling fills my tummy as I think about my earlier interaction with Anton.

“Whats got you all smiley?” My manager asks while looking at me with a odd look.

“Oh, nothing.” I reply, smiling like smitten teenager.

While toying with the sleeve of my coffee cup, it slips, revealing a small handwritten note on the side of my cup.

Keeho & Jungwon’s Valentine’s Morning

A/N: This isn’t proofread but I’ve re-written it a couple times before. It was supposed to be posted with chapter 8 but I’ve been so busy lately. I’ll try to get the next few chapters out because I wanted to get at least the first 10 out before March.

Jungwon was tired and bored out of his mind while he and Wonbin set up for the morning shift at a local cat cafe called MeOw’s. Usually he’d be on the afternoon shift but he switched shifts with his coworker Yeji so she could spend the morning with her girlfriend (his close friend) Ryujin before their big date later tonight.

In his humble opinion he’d rather say he was forced and blackmailed into this by his friend Ryujin but deep down he knows regardless he would’ve done this because his friend’s happiness is his.

Anyways his only company was Wonbin another rich kid who goes to SM University but got a job at MeOw’s for fun. It’s not like Jungwon didn’t like him or anything if anything he liked Wonbin too much. Today was Valentine’s Day and Jungwon already existing feelings seemed to multiply around Wonbin.

The problem? Wonbin has a boyfriend who’s obviously not Jungwon.

While lost in groggy thought while watching Wonbin feed their pretty cats in the separate room with glass doors and windows showing off the dining area with the cafe’s furry friends. There was a separate room from the workers open space work area behind the desk, only a few cats were allowed in that part of the building (mainly the short hairs).

By the time 6am rolled around both Jungwon and Wonbin were in close proximity behind the counter ready and waiting for customers. Before they knew it they fell into an easy routine when the door chimed once more, this time with a pretty blond guy coming in.

The blond was intriguing to Jungwon so much so he seemingly forgot about his feelings for Wonbin and was now experiencing what could only be described as love at first sight… well until the handsome boy made it to the counter and he was hit with the smell of weed.

Jungwon could feel the headache starting, he absolutely hated the smell of weed. Now looking in the handsome boys eyes he could see how red they were.

Blondie gasped, “I didn’t know they let giant cats make coffee and work the register!”

“Since when did giant cats who walk on two legs exist? Science is AMAZING!”

Jungwon couldn’t help but cringe one because of the boys loudness and two because of his calling him a giant cat. “Hi, welcome to MeOw’s what can I get for you this morning?”

Blondie just giggles at Jungwon in response while staring at him weirdly.

“Uhm sir…?”

More giggles, “I didn’t know cats could talk!”

“Sir, what can I get you to drink?”

“Oh right! Thank you Mr. Cat uh—“, the boy trailed off staring at the menu trying to figure what it even said. Truth be told Blondie aka Keeho had never been here before. He just went to the first place he stumbled across coming back from Yeonjun’s apartment after their smoke sesh.

Jungwon was growing rather impatient and annoyed with the boy but he forced his customer service smile to stay put, despite him taking forever and holding up the now forming line.

“Can I get a LARGE hot chocolate with vanilla and whipped cream! Extra whipped cream!”, the boy said excitedly.

“Okay, will that be all sir?”

“Ooo! I’m hungry! Can I have——”, and now the boy was pointing at literally every pastry in the display cabinet.

“Alright and what’s your name sir?”

The blond boy looked shocked, “My name is —“, he started mumbling to himself, “right my name is Stephen!”

“Alright Stephen, please have a seat anywhere you’d like and we’ll have your order out soon!”, Jungwon smiled to which the blond burst into another fit of shy laughter.

After a while Wonbin finished Stephen’s hot chocolate and Jungwon finished grabbing all the treats for the blond. Wonbin complained about it being too far for him to deliver the order to Stephen (in reality he just wanted to text his boyfriend Sohee back), begging Jungwon to just do it for him. Normally they wouldn’t hand deliver but the place wasn’t that packed given the time and what day it was, so it was a courtesy to their customers from time to time.

Begrudgingly Jungwon took the order out to the weed guy who was currently cuddling four of their cats at once while cooing at them, telling them how it was okay he wouldn’t tell their secret since he knew they could talk too since the “giant cat” told him. Oddly enough Jungwon couldn’t help but find the stinky headache inducing boy cute.

“Here you go Steph!”

At the call of his nickname Keeho locked eyes with Jungwon and giggled again saying a quiet thank you.

Quickly that same boy pulled out his phone and tried but failed to discreetly take photos of Jungwon, which should’ve made him uncomfortable but he found it endearing.

The rational part of his mind was telling him this man was psychotic but again he found it somewhat flattering, maybe it was because it was a day for love or a form of pretty privilege. Either way he didn’t care much.

Not long after Jungwon and Wonbin had started serving a few more customers and the place filled out a little.

It wasn’t packed by any means but there were a few more people there and not just the high off his ass Stephen. Jungwon also had watched as the blond scarfed down every pastry in his sight and he was now slightly scared of the feral beast.

Not even more than 3 minutes had passed since he gave the weed guy his order before Keeho made his way back to the front and directly towards Jungwon.

Mimi a white Ragdoll was currently asleep on the counter next to Jungwon when Keeho stumbled and tripped over his own two feet which startled the cat of whom jumped off the counter and charged Keeho while hissing. Dignity lost in the wind the boy started screaming and jumped on the counter nearly stepping on the register and Jungwon’s hands.

Patrons were staring and the Won boys stared in horror before Jungwon sprung into action trying to calm the screaming boy down and coax him off the counter. Which backfired because then the blond started projectile vomiting on him.

Now Jungwon was screaming and Wonbin was horrified and nearly throwing up himself. Finally Jungwon snapped and yelled at the boy to get down to which he did, as he was scolding the blond Wonbin decided to help the situation by trying to defuse the tension.

Keeho in his current state hated the fact that the new love of his life was yelling at him and that he threw up on him started crying. Now Jungwon felt bad and so did Wonbin.

Gently Wonbin started asking if Keeho would like to sit down and if they could calm someone for him. Keeho just forked over his phone to Wonbin and much to his surprise Wonbin found his friend Anton’s number on the phone and called it.

Jungwon was now working on calming the stoner down when Keeho revealed he was broke. At this point it felt like god was testing Jungwon.

He lunged at Keeho and Wonbin who was on the phone with Anton had to tell Ant to hold on while he dealt with something, that being grabbing a hold of Jungwon preventing him from killing Keeho.

In the mist of that struggle randomly the stoner says, “Wow you’re really hot”, to Jungwon which stops the murderous boy in his tracks. Wonbin then answers the phone once again and told him he also had to pay Keeho’s bill and to come quick for him.

So much happened in less than 5 minutes and both Wons were over Valentine’s Day and the morning shift.
