I just watched Attached, and I am SCREAMING!!! When I first started season one and knew nothing at all about the show, one of the first things I asked about any of the characters was "what's their deal? What's going on there?" about Crusher and Picard. Now SEVEN SEASONS IN via non-consentual THOUGHT TRANSMISSION the reveal of feelings happened!?!?!?! OH MY GOD

Ms. Fairchild was so real the whole episode, but I don’t think she’s actually dead. We never saw her DEAD body. All we saw was her lay on the floor. Maybe she heard me screaming “PLAY DEAD PLAY DEAD” at the screen, who knows, but I don’t think she’s actually dead.

Also; the screen cap from the trailer has me sweating. I don’t think Andy’s the fake out death, but I’m not certain he’ll survive. Don has never been someone to do something twice, that’s why the chucky films are so distinct and unique in every iteration, so the people for fake out death that are off the table are Andy, Kyle and Tiffany since I don’t think he’d have the balls to kill Jennifer Tilly.

Ms. Fairchild actually seems the most likely person for it thus far. So far, of all the deaths, her’s is the one I am speculating about. It was a brutal kill, but there’s no concrete proof she’s dead and not just playing dead. The only thing making me speculate about my own theory is why she didn’t stop playing dead when two people walked in.

Things that are stuck in my head after watching the new episode:

Daemon being so excited over the three new eggs wanting to show them to rhaenyra so bad

The kids learning high valyrian

Daemon coming into the room without saying a word but rhaenyra knowing with one look that they need to talk alone

Daemon softly touching rhaenyras belly everytime he can

Them looking at each other being absolutely crazy in love

THEM HOLDING HANDS ALL THE DAMN TIME

Daemon being ready to come with her, ready to stand at her side, ready to do whatever needs to be done

Rhaenyra calling daemon my love

Rhaenyra and daemon coming to viserys bed broke me, when they saw how bad he had gotten, in how much pain he was and that it was clear he wouldn't survive much longer. Daemon having trouble to look at viserys because the sight of him hurts his soul so deeply but viserys saying his name all over again because he was so relieved that his brother was there.

Daemon checking the cup from viserys wanting to know if there was something in it that could harm him.

Rhaenyra showing viserys his new grandchildren and viserys happiness about the names, knowing that his name will live on and that he was so important to her and daemon that they named a child after him.

Viserys calling rhaenyra his only child

Rhaenyra and daemon holding hands again, talking to alicent and daemon already having enough of her shit after just one sentence

Rheanyra coming to her father again at night, talking to him bare and openly, asking him for her help and showing how heavy the weight of being the heir but not being accepted as it lays on her shoulders, her crying desperately - Emmas and Paddy's acting was just phenomenal.

Otto sitting on the throne and everyone standing in the room, the green & the blacks here we go

Aemond observing absolutely everything, improving his skills, the anger inside him and the lust for blood and chaos

helaena being hugged by alicent and having to deal with the shit of a husband ageon is and dancing freely with Jacaerys

Viserys coming for rhaenyra and children, claiming the throne one last time, Daemon guiding him, putting the crown back on his head and saying "come on"

Viserys getting up again after vaemonds words and once again making clear that rhaenyra is his heir and that he wants her to become queen

Daemon waiting for vaemond velaryon to finally say it out loud and killing him with one strike of dark sister after he disrespected his kids and dared to call rhaenyra a whore - like how fucking stupid was this man what the hell did he except???

The dinner. Oh the dinner. I wanna make a whole post about it but I loved this scene and at the same time it broke my heart

But happy daemon and rhaenyra sitting so close to each other, holding hands the whole time, watching their kids, rhaenyras words to alicent, viserys looking around but the side with his eye being on the targaryen side, ottos mimic, the kids... God that was so much.

In all seriousness, here are a few resources I think are helpful with regards to understanding just how thoroughly Henry Kissinger screwed the world over:

Kissinger by Behind the Bastards. This is a 6 part series done by the podcast Behind the Bastards, with the hosts of The Dollop on as guests. It's super funny and a very accessible foothold into understanding the scope of Kissinger's vast career.

Kissinger's Shadow by Greg Grandin. This book provides an in-depth analysis of Kissinger's tenure in the White House, covering both how he got into office, the changes he made in office, the policies he put forth, and their repercussions on the world.

ETAN's category on Kissinger. The East Timor and Indonesia Action Network has long been an outspoken critic of Kissinger's, and they've aggregated a lot of helpful articles here.

The Trial of Henry Kissinger by Christopher Hitchins. While Grandin's book focuses less on the specificities of Kissinger's crimes, Hitchins has no such qualms and details each of them in depth.

I truly think understanding Kissinger, the way he thought, and the things that he did, are all indispensable when it comes to understanding the modern political climate and how foreign policy works in America and therefore, by necessity, in the world at large. The sheer amount of damage he was responsible for should never be underestimated.
