the very CONCEPT of Gustavo being Peak Performance of gnomekind and then hooking up with someone EVEN BETTER is sending me. Imagine other gnomes just being like omgomg i wish i was as hot as gus oh my goodness. And then he pops up with (a reluctant) pep in tow like 'hi everyone!' and they lose their goddamn minds over how unbelievably SPICY HOT this anxious chef is. like GUS HOW DID YOU DO EVEN BETTER

YES EXACTLY lmao it seems very silly when u put it that way djsfkskfhdsfjkh but yes that is basically it. I even drew up examples of my own homebrew gnome designs to give u some perspective

Gus is like the best example of this; hes VERY strong (strong enough to tame a creature like Brick), good facial and body hair (which is the equivalent of my homebrew gnomes viewing thick and well groomed fur as very attractive), and hes got a very sturdy body shape (not fat, but fat would be included in this too; Peppino is proof of that)

So when they see Pep theyre like ! Hes even BIGGER and he can lift Gus with no fucking problem! Like he is EVERYTHING!!!

tbh i dont really have a story w/springtrap n y/n...........the thought of making anything y/n and springer related flusters me so bad afijdslkfsjdfksdfj never experienced this w/a character b4 like. making self insert of the dca was EASY! i cant draw/think of anything self insert-y w/springer w/out turning inta a blushing pink mess. i just kinda Draw Him Hot and thats it skfjskdfskdfj any scenarios i think of are just him in isolation as a character. real talk i think that he hangs out in fazbear frights, it burns so he gets out, and he just kind of wanders for a while until fnaf 6

but IF i was ta brainstorm rq......

i think him being able ta manipulate a fazbear frights employee inta letting him out would be interesting. a sort of start of the Cult of Afton idea that fnaf was seemingly building upta b4 security breach (something i was really jiving w/until the game came out and. well. we all saw what they did). this would b his "oh wait im a suave bastard and can use this ta my advantage" moment. he just acts like this pathetic little meow meow and i think that the reader not actually being able to SEE him would aid in this. hes just a disembodied voice begging for help and who are you ta turn your cheek when someone is in need? hes very careful that you dont see him tho (you might not wanna help him if you see him) and you have no idea who this velvety get rough voice belongs ta. and yet he pulls you in, talkin about all the torture hes suffered, how hes gonna get out and "set things right" (hes very vague)

eventually you do see him. in aaalll his whore eyed glory. hes the star animatronic of fazbear frights? AND hes trapped here? well thats doubly awful. never trust corporations afterall, they'll do anything ta make a quick buck, they'd parade around a corpse if they knew it would rake in the dough. he wouldn't reveal much of himself, just enough so that YOU open up and hes able to better cater himself ta your personality. he'd reveal that hes "haunted" sure. you'll buy that. ghosts are real and they can haunt animatronics you dont really need anything else, just ta know that hes suffering here. sure they're boldfaced lies at times, but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. but whoops! in his efforts ta seem like a tragic Little Guy and get in close ta you he accidentally got attached ta you! a horrible decision really. now he feels bad. but hes in so deep. what will he do?

if we follow the canon fnaf timeline where fazbear frights burns i mean. dudes probably hangin out in the woods. not really much of an opportunity ta meet ppl there. if hes hanging out like around the woods of a city maybe he finds himself in some persons house that like,,,,tinkers w/animatronics and/or finds them interesting? and he plays "dead" (ha) as they fix him up. they treat him in such a kind and gentle manner hes sort of captivated by them? like they dont know hes alive obviously but as the days go on and they just continue day after day ta come back n check up on him, clean him up, fix parts of him, talk ta him so gently and treat him as this delicate cherished thing (that he knows he isnt) they grow on him. he'd also probably hear conversations through the walls of the room hes in, and whenever they'd come in maybe they'd talk ta themselves or ta him abt their day and stuff and as he learns more abt them as a person his love for them grows.

i dont really see the latter ending up well. very uh. onesided LMAOOO KSJFKSJDFKSDJ HE JUST FUCKING STANDS UP WHEN Y/N THINKS HES JUST SOME SILLY ROBOT AND IS LIKE, "I love you," AND Y/N JUST FUCKIN SCREAMS AND RUNS OUT OF THE HOUSE or like after hes done getting fixed up he gets up and just. fuckin leaves. and its painful cuz at this point hes attached but also it would never work out. i mean. look at him. y/n would never love him like that. yk?

Just wanted to give you guys a life update In case you are wondering why i havent drawn any art lately, I recently (as in a week ago was the first session, and last monday was my second) started group therapy and its taking up a lot of brain bandwith!

Its definitely helping me a lot but its also making me super mentally tired which makes me focus more on household tasks, video games and resting. Outside of doodling random things and doing quick gesture studies of stock images in my sketchbook, i do not have the drive to do art.

I know that my art will be much better after this/that im about to level up but it does feel a lil frustrating. I mean as of writing this post it's the 25th of january and ive only completed 3 whole artpieces since the start of the year. Which is kinda conflicting with my goal to draw more art this year compared to last year. But I know it's best to just listen to my body and wait this out. It will just probably be a long wait since I still have 10 sessions to go augh I do hope my drive to do art comes back before that but no way to predict it There's a lot of big things I want to do this year (get a dog, get an rp world started, continue therapy, weekly art activity outside house, draw more, get people interested in my ocs more) and I think my brain just still needs some time to adjust So yeah that's why there havent been any art posts! I know you guys are patient, but I just wanted to let you guys know what was up owo For now I will continue flooding your dash with chickens, fish, other misc animals, cool art i found and currated memes/funny posts (as well as activism). And of course i will reblog the heck out of my friends, you should check them out I am still open to answer asks however! Be it about me, my art or my characters or headworld! To continue with my poptropica oc Brainrot, here’s like a massive infodump on how their fictitious fan made island would work!! :

ORIGIN ISLAND

Would be an island consisting of two/three parts with a compact story in each part. Think of Poptropicon Island and Survival Island’s story structures.

Origin Island is basically like my own little headworld/fake island that you the player would play through. It is very self indulgent and full of the kind of content I would’ve eaten up as a middle schooler playing Poptropica 😎👉👉

Part I’s storyline would be several iconic villains teaming up n breaking out of Supervillain Island’s prison to Summon the Island Eater to help them take over the world. The Player starts off having to track down each popular villain to get more bits of insight after each defeat on what their “secret weapon is”.

You find out through word of mouth about a forgotten legend of an island, the supposed very first of its kind. It’s said to house a power with unfathomable possibilities, and to harness the “four of creation” would mean unbeatable victory. (It would be sick af to make this into a rhyme or riddle somehow)

Then you find out their Secret Weapon is Hyper Eye, when you find it behind bars outside the villain’s hideout. It pleads with you in secret that the supervillains kidnapped it and are trying to pry information out of it for finding the powers. They also claim the villains are using their collar as a tracking device, and that they can’t take it off. You go on a fetch quest to bring it some sort of relic-key that would supposedly unlock their collar (this is going to be a thing that exists only for this AU storyline, and the key would be made up of three relics from the three other deities. If you don’t know who they are I HIGHLY recommend searching through Hyper Eye’s toyhouse, which I linked in my previous post. So for Designer it would be a digital pen, for Writer it would be a typewriter, and for Programmer it would be a keyboard or motherboard/chip. It was Their personal items you need to find from Their own personal parts of Origin Island, now in ruin. Hyper Eye is the only one to disclose to you the location of Origin Island, and you have to make your way there by yourself. It doesn’t trust the villains to tell them anything.).

So, you find the relics, and form the key. You have to go into the lair and kick some more ass before finally reaching Hyper Eye. The second you give Hyper Eye the key and free it, the mood changes. It starts to laugh, straight up pulling a flowey like “Yoouuu IDIOT.” before vanishing with the defeated supervillains.

Part II TLDR is you the player are now alone with the collar. You discover that you can hear three other frantic voices coming from the unlocked collar, and you find out where the three of the “four of creation” have been all this time. They task you with rescuing the villains but not before you watch each of their islands get destroyed and/or eaten seconds later. Learning it’s either “team up or watch everything get consumed”, you and the bad guys form an unlikely truce. All in order to find and break back into Origin Island, the source of where the black hole swallowing the islands is coming from. It has since been highly fortified and is now a highly dangerous island to set foot in (shoutout to Captain Crawfish for sailing your party there despite its dangerous waters).

Part III TLDR is you and the villains breaking into Origin Island with each of their specialties, learning about What Each Relic Meant and discovering that sweet sweet Hyper Eye Backstory. You find out the full history behind the four of creation, and it all ends with finding and fighting Hyper Eye, who has become this large eldritch mass of space and teeth with a black hole for a face. Everyone works together to distract and stall if enough for you to pull the final move and finally re-locking the collar around its neck, saving the islands and most likely the world. The villains end their truce with the player and scatter, saying they’ll be sure to beat the player next time. All is well n the player earns the Origin Island Medallion!! d:

As for where Hyper Eye is by the end of the island’s story? Most likely unconscious and imprisoned back on Origin Island.

YES!!! That would be Connon!! I'm actually redrawing her reference since she got a small design update, now she's a part of my headworld also but she keeps 90% of her sunless sea vibe!

Also, unfortunately I did not beat the game. Not even close 😭 i tried really hard to get that one rare ship you get from the guy in venderbright but i think I doomed my playthrough, I got 5 out of 7 colors and idk if ill be able to get those two

as for enjoyment... I actually love sunless sea a completely ABSURD amount. I know its cheating, but the exploring part of the game stresses me out a lot bc of the fuel/supplies management and I just want to knoe everything about the world, so i often just go into the wiki to read through events that can happen and just absorb all the knowledge.... Sunless sea has definitely been a huge inspiration in many ways. I hope I can get back into playing it at some point, I admit I've been putting it off bc I don't want to end my current game :wailing:

6. Do you have any OCs without stories? Will you ever create one for them?

i do have a few!! even i cant resist making a Fun Guy just because. ideally i try and work them back into the main story/headworld that i have, but not all of them work in that universe. most recent one i made was this bad boy, who i wanna revisit at some point

16. What was you first major project? How far along is it?

my first major project was a different interconnected universe i had that hinged on interdimensional (ie alternate universe) travel, with the main stories focusing on bex and another gaggle of ocs i had for a story called "cobblestone alley". being a middle schooler, of course, this was something outside of my ability to complete. i have since abandoned this story entirely in favor of other projects.

17. What are some tropes and character dynamics found in your wips?

oh man. i'm an avid tvtropes browser and yet i am drawing a blank. uh, there's certainly a lot of focus on the nuclear family, that much i know!

19. What are some things that inspired your stories? Real events? Maybe a dream?

i try to remain inspired by basically anything that interests me. real history for sure-- i am heavily inspired by the american midcentury, and culture is informed by events that happen as well as vice versa. a few of my characters are straight up just historical figures that i've modified to be fictional-- yvona yonker is hedda hopper but gay, donnovan j. bellamy is a composite of the kennedy brothers. other characters are based on tropes or other characters i like-- teddy is just norman bates.

i also love watching bad movies... and if something is particularly interesting in spite of its premise, i'll do what artists do and steal from it. i watched a really bad thriller recently called "loving adults" that i've aped part of the plot from, for instance.

sometimes my dreams do inspire me. perhaps most telling though was the dream i had at like 12 wherein two of my ocs banged.... my subconscious introduced me to yaoi because it was that dream that got me start reading it LMAO

20. What story are you the proudest of? Why?

i'll have one to be proud of when i finish one! the one longform work id consider complete that i'm proud of is a fanfic, and even then i had a cowriter.

suddenly in the middle of the xiv hyperfixation the headworld ocs broke trought and afforded me some Toughts.

Mainly relating to the gods and demigods because they are my foucus of interest.

Shadlan loved the world despite its flaws, she knew it wasnt perfect and she wasnt going to fix it. She loved it the way it was, and fought to mantain the status quo, even at the detriment to everyone around her. She abandoned her duties as the last remainig of the Triad to live out her domestic fantasy and that was her doom.

Akila was a revolutionary. She became a villain willingly because she wanted to change the universe she lived in, but her unchecked arrogance and pride caused her to stray from her righteous objective and just become a despot. Im still debating wheter she should die at the end of the first arc or not. Because on one hand, her being the last god standing being gone, would fit thematically with humanity finally going their own way. But also her, letting go of the utopic dream of building a better world for her siblings and instead choosing the world she has in the present makes for a nice character arc too.

Ryu is cursed to walk the land as an immortal man. They abused their power and were stripped of it They dont believe in change and hasnt really tried to change. He fills his life with frivolities to pass the time as he waits for Akila to bring about the end. Nothing matters, they are all imprisioned in themselves. She just wants to forget the past, forget her regrets forget herself.

Hiraki thinks hes the saviour of the world. The sole survivor of the aftermath of his mother assasination, hes her heir, the one who will rid the world of the stain that is demons. He will bring about a new age, and will rid anyone who stands in his way. When Akila is dealt with he's ready to take her place as the resident god emperor of the world, because humanity needs a leader, and he is that guy.

Imay doesnt think about grand schemes,she's single minded foucused on the pursuit of knowledge, of strenght, of power, so no one can hurt her anymore. The fate of the world doesnt matter as much as the fate of those close to her. She wants to unravel the mystery regarding her mothers death, she wants to discover the secrets Akila has kept for her, she wants her aunt to look her in the eye with anything but contempt. She just wants a hug.

Dressia was a weapon, and a weapon is meant to be unfeeling. But she care so much, she cares about her friends, about the injustices she sees, and she wants to change it, she sees the damage the gods have caused and sees that humanity is better off without them, depsite being a demigod she refuses to take the tittle, she refuses to be their saviour. She will lead them, and she will help. But no temples will be build in her name, and no prayers will be sung. She bleeds and dies like any other after all.

these two are Lazephyr and Basifel, they're the classic prince and gardener lovers from my headworld

they're Katzoraks, a species I invented when I was 7 and have changed MANY times over the years- pointy nosed goblin shark looking freaks (affectionate)

a few facts about these two and the species in general cause why not:

- Their whiskers are extremely sensitive and are often dyed and trimmed for aesthetic purposes

- The shape in Basifel's ear is actually a "punched" shape, done with a device similar to the holepunches we have on earth DFJHKSFDH its a common appearance modifier.

- Royals look different to regular citizens, their build is a lot sleeker and more angular and they also, of course, have a large antler on their forehead

- In the "summer" (hot season on their planet) Katzoraks can be any shade of green, blue, and even (rarely) indigo, and their fur becomes quite short and coarse. This is because the plant life on their planet is blue/green during summer and dull during winter, and this evolutionary trait has allowed katzoraks to survive better.

- In the "winter" (cold season on their planet), they take on natural shades of browns and greys, and their fur grows much thicker and softer.

- Accessories are SO important to these guys. like. its extraordinarily rare to see a katzorak with no accessories.

- they have 6 limbs!! two hind legs and four forelegs

- they are omnipedal, so they can walk on their hind legs or four of their six legs.

- Gold and silver are very common on their planet so a lot of less wealthy katzoraks actually wear a lot of gold, whereas nobles and elites are fond of whalebone accessories, seeing as 90% of the fauna on their planet have exoskeletons, the only non invertebrate creatures are their version of "whales" and "dolphins". and katzoraks themselves, of course, but legally sourced katzorak bone is uh. hard to come by

- They evolved from humans! an ancient and incredibly advanced human civilization sent some humans deep into space to find another planet to colonise in case of a global catastrophe like another ice age/meteor impact, but said humans lost contact and just. Became their own species sdjkfhfsdhsdf

“ ‘Those Who Protect.’ Concepts “

I’ve been working on this in between projects, to get some world ideas out of my brain and onto the paper, and these are some concepts I have for one of the many groups I have in a small headworld that I’ve been calling “The Old Playground” as a placeholder name, I’ll come up with something better ‘n cooler eventually.

Anyways these are just the concept piles I’ve made concerning their designs! I started with some 2 second doodles, moved onto refining and trying to nail down their face shapes and details, and then I doodled up their differences in height as well as how I saw their bodies. And voila! Emma ended up taking the longest... TTvTT  Which is honestly a bit strange as I had the clearest mental image of her when I started this... Note: For some comparison thinking about the heights, Emma is just a little over average height with Dock being just a little below average height. We don’t talk about Adler and DOG’s heights...

Some backstory into this world and these characters: The world they reside in is basically a dystopian universe where robots and cyborgs reign dominant in society, by that I just mean hardly anyone is just human without some enhancements if even human at all. The world is governed by “The Pillars”, they kind of oversee the world from their own structures to maintain order. These guys here are part of a group that generally find themselves violently pushing against the Pillars, because where the Pillars value the lives of humans and cyborgs over fully mechanical individuals, they wish to improve the living situations of those who are fully mechanical. However they don’t really do the best job as 3 of the 4 here end up becoming corrupt in some form or another... Whoops..? (For those interested, Dock is the only one who keeps her head well screwed on.) Adler is the main leader of this little group and oversees most of its innerworkings and decisions. Adler also is a little bit of a bastard. DOG is, to put it simply, Adler’s guard dog. Although DOG is fully sentient and capable of speech he’s often quiet and only speaks to Dock and Adler on his own free time. DOG is completely and unwaveringly loyal to Adler. Dock is the groups doctor/mechanic, she’s incredibly resourceful and smart and is second in command in almost all affairs. It’s unclear when people talk to her if they’re saying “Doc” or her name. Emma acts as the lowest ranking member but she’s very well liked by everyone... but DOG. Her job is making sure that all the robots who come seeking shelter are well taken care of and tended to properly, she’s very kind and considerate and is often the go to for delicate moral dilemmas.

Woke up a bit early from a dream that was a bizarre salad of things taking place in a superhero setting just barely not either of the two in my headworld (though having shades of both). I don't remember much in a narrative sense, but my memory of the dream anchors around a handful of specific characters or entities who stood out more than others:

- A kindly mute hobo, basically human!Aberrant in terms of personality and size; a VERY tall, bald, nearly albino guy with uncanny proportions, wearing tattered clothes. He could turn into a skinless giant, like a slightly smaller "Attack on" Titan. Seemed to have been temporarily living in the subterranean parking lot of the facility the dream mostly took place in. Showed up just long enough to tear a hole in a reinforced razor wire barricade with his bare hands (which seemed to be able to superheat, as his hands practically melted the wire) while still in "human" form to help the protags escape the facility. Transformed in the distance later to fight off some antagonists in a very Hulk-esque fashion, immunity to heavy firearms included.

- A very large white dog or wolf. Looked like a pure white husky with ice blue eyes, and twice as big. Couldn't talk, but had a certain human-level intelligence about him, as he was able to use computers and navigate security panels in the facility. Also incredibly strong, capable of dismantling an android. Only showed up early on, left to do other things after the sphinx (below) was defeated.

- Teenage "Kamen Rider" girl (not really, just a nerd who'd say "Henshin!" to transform) with a black and silver suit more reminiscent of Iron Man power armor with a wasp-like mask, and twin arm-mounted vibro-knives as her primary weapons. Kicks strong enough to send an opponent through thick concrete, armor tough enough to take machinegun fire and direct circular saw application without a flinch or scratch. Was approached by another "hero" to hand over a critical artifact, but was attacked upon not being able to due to someone else taking it earlier. Before transforming, she was who I observed the dream through in first-person, but was kicked into third person as soon as she transformed. Had a boyfriend who could also transform, but only saw him briefly as he called off his own armor during their escape, when human!Aberrant freed them. Since both had to take off their suits for one reason or another, both got fairly sliced up from the edges of the razor fence due to the haste with which they had to flee. I briefly watched them as they found a high place to climb and tend their wounds, overlooking the city to see the chaos that was about to be unleashed upon it.

- A red and gold sphinx (literally, lion body, mostly-human face; proportionally more reminiscent of Avatar Na'vi in terms of nose and eyes) in overlapping armor of very fine plates (or cybernetic and made up of those plates), and orange gems decorating her forehead, shoulders, hips, and spine. Accompanied by two menacing looking men in black suits, both wielding machine guns. One was an android with transforming weapon/tool limbs (hence the circular saw). The sphinx was the "hero" who asked for the artifact, but actually one of the villains (a shapeshifter) in disguise. True form of shapeshifter never shown. Defeated soundly by the armored girl and the huge dog, but escaped after being kicked through a wall in the underground parking lot.

-A giant eldritch tentacle brain on four legs. Imagine a Zerg Ultralisk, but instead of an armored head/upper torso with blade arms, just a giant brain contained in an iridescent gelatinous mass that could form tendrils or legs in that arrangement. Was being held in the facility most of the dream took place in (most info on it was dream-intuition or shown with video footage), it broke out and prompted the need to escape. Had the ability to warp reality in hallucinogenic ways, usually manifested by a passive hue-shift of everything in its immediate vicinity. It's physical arrival prompted me to wake up.
