Accidentally sending a loved one to the Shadowlands and feeling guilty about it
#was thinking about Shade and thought of this parallel#i am specifically referring to the flash rebirth 11 ‘the speed of darkness’#aka my favorite shade comic#at least the comics explained how it happened. he lost control of his powers#like he summoned shadow demons and the shadow demons turned against him and dragged Hope off to the Shadowlands or whatnot#y’know. comic book logic#but on the show they gave . absolutely no explanation as to how it happened LMAO#don’t you guys hate it when you accidentally send your friend to an alternate dimension. happens all the time#this man has had his powers since the 1860s and still can’t fully control them smh#he doesn’t really fully understand them either like. he didn’t know he could be mortal until Eclipso stabbed him#(but somehow he knew that restoring the black diamond would restore his powers?)#stargirl#richard swift#the shade
