A few silly little small sculptures that I made with some of the leftover clay from the main one I did recently
#sculpture#birds#neopets#sparkly little aishas my beloved.....#Though I actually kind of liked them with a matte finish more?? I wanted to try out making them sparkly and shiny..but#I think they might have looked better before adding all the shine. BUT I kind of like both. Maybe I should make two more that aren't shiny#just to have variation lol... an entire army of tiny aishas.....#The little house is so bad lol I hada headache at that point and kind of just wanted to get everything over with#(I bake the clay all at once so I had to get the smaller ones done to go with the main one)#and was like.. zero effort into making things line up or measuring at all. one window on one side is like twice as big as on the other lol#but I think from afar ifnot examined too closely it's still kind of cute. The birds were also just random like 'what can I shape out of thi#s small blob of clay I have leftover' etc. I did actually put irridescent eyeshaow on the pigeon but it just doesnt show up in photos ToT#The other bird is not anything in specific... some sort of random fantasy creature bird with slight purple on it's wings or something#The strawberry is exclusively just a quickly done accessory for the birds.. I wanted them to have a little meal to share#even though I dont know if birds eat strawberries#the last picture in the set is them all sitting on a shelf (the most well lit place I could find) but looks weird#since it has all of my avocado pit eyes in the background......... ominous backdrop for such peaceful little creachures..#you kind of cant tell what they are from that angle though i guess lol

#gbunny polls#animal crossing#animal crossing new horizons#acnh#sheep#maybe it's the nostalgia talking#but i think i prefer the scarves#it made them really unique among all the other species#i do think it's a little funny how they're now being *SQUEEZED* into their clothes#but i find the classic design more charming#i was thinking about this the other day#but beyond the sterilization of the characters and the drifting away from the social sim aspects#i think what new horizons is missing most#is a sense of whimsy#most of the furniture sets are practical#and the couple that aren't generally stick to a 'nature' theme so they're not *that* whimsical in the context of the island based setting#(looking at the new mush set and frozen set)#we don't have beds that look like giant cakes#or sofas that look like robots anymore#you don't see UFOs or fountain gods/goddesses#there's not a random chance to stumble into the underground or find a weird pattern on a tree stump#you can't even find 4-leaf clovers#it's not bad. it's just different and i prefer the old way.

technology is trying to gaslight me tonight i swear to fuck
#first patreon had this weird glitch that's still happening#where a post i made wouldn't show up on my page but it showed up for others and also everywhere EXCEPT my main page#it was in the drafts and the manage recent posts section and the collections but NOT the main home page *for m e*#and me alone it seemed#tried to fix it and only made things Worse somehow#then. my pc decided to set the clock back by three hours? at seemingly random???#tumblr isn't letting me like posts and any messages sent or received on here disappear or don't show up at all on my end#while typing this up it wouldn't autosave and then it wouldn't post#and at least for tumblr it usually only does that when i've been force logged out without it actually kicking me off until i refresh#so i refreshed the page to see if it would force me to log in again#but??? i was still logged in so i was like okay i'll just log out and log in again maybe that'll help#nope!! still acting funky!!#third time typing this post up bc of it!!

How do I explain the ways in which the bill origins fic 'A Romance of Many Dimensions' by haley3 rewired my brain without needing to give paragraphs upon paragraphs of context. The fic is something like 200,000 words long. Almost every single good moment calls back to things that are set up earlier in the fic
