ok i know it's a webtoon you can read online for free but Rachel/Inklore really did just spoil every twist and plot beat within the plot summary of volume 8 huh

this is literally the next volume they just announced and it's going to be releasing after LO goes behind daily pass and yet they're not even trying to keep things even somewhat interesting for the trad pub market that they're trying to expand through, jesus christ lmao this is yet another lesson in "what not to do" courtesy of LO 💀

your plot summary is supposed to be a HOOK. NOT A WHOLE ASS SYNOPSIS THAT GIVES AWAY EVERY TWIST AND PLOT BEAT. By comparison, LO's Volume 8 "summary" isn't a plot summary, it's a goddamned Cliff's Notes 😭 like ... this feels like they accidentally included the extended pitch notes in the summary, like is there seriously not a single person at Random House going "um, isn't this a little too much?"

I'm not even joking when I say you can deadass just read this summary and understand the gist of the S2 finale. The actual episodes do not contain anything else of substance beyond this summary. All the 'twists' are given away, and anything else that might be 'interesting' is literally dropped or forgotten about by the end of S2 anyways so it winds up not mattering (cough Eris cough)

Literally the first two paragraphs would have sufficed, with the additional removal of the Apollo lineage reveal because again, THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A TWIST. IT'S A DUMB TWIST, BUT IT'S STILL WRITTEN AS A TWIST LMAO everything in that third paragraph and beyond is WAY TOO MUCH and it's not even making any efforts in its prose to pull you in with enticing set-up, it's just clinically saying "this happens and then this happens and then this happens".

Compare it to the Volume 1 description, it's like night and day:

Short, sweet, to the point, gives us enough setup to understand what we're going into but not enough details to spoil the whole frigging thing, and it ends perfectly with a hook that gets you interested in both Persephone and Hades as characters.

I kinda wanna write a light & fun #fortunecookieAU of zosan. Heavily inspired by that Rick & Morty Fortune Cookie episode 😂

It could be like they arrived on an island that is very mysterious (in a way just like sabaody bc you cannot find it through any logpose) and the people talk about their famous fortune cookies.

There was also a festival that's happening so they decided to stay and enjoy themselves.

The crew decided to eat on the island for lunch and they're given fortune cookies and everyone got basic fortunes until Zoro's, who got a

"You'll have sex with the person who has curly eyebrows" which shocks everyone in the room. They laughed about it and Sanji being Sanji screaming crying and murderous. He was so pissed but also superstitious. Zoro after the initial shock and annoyance just shrugged it off and guaranteed Sanji it won't happen (since he won't force Sanji to do anything he doesn't want to). But Sanji doesn't listen. He believes it will happen and has been walking on thin ice since then.

But it seems Sanji could be right since after lunch a series of unfortunate (fortunate) events led to so many uncompromising situations.... like one of them being...

(Somehow) They both got the long end of the stick and had to watch the ship together and Zoro was training half naked as always but when Sanji brought his snack he suddenly slipped and somehow someway Zoro's on the floor laying while Sanji's on top of him sitting exactly where his ass was meeting Zoro's hardening crotch and one hand holding the empty tray and the other on Zoro's juicy pecs.

Sanji had never seen Zoro so red before and he had never stood up and ran so fast to the galley in his life before.

There's also that time they accidentally met behind the festival stalls because Sanji was smoking and Zoro's lost again and Sanji was so scared to be in the same space as Zoro that he panicked and his yukata was caught on a branch and Zoro wanted to warn the cook but before he could open his mouth Sanji already stumbled and his ass was on the ground cushioning his fall with his elbow propped and amidst of it Sanji was so surprised he grabbed whatever was near him which was Zoro's robe and Zoro fell with him and conveniently on top of him. Zoro almost froze at the spot. Sanji's yukata was open and deliciously cascading on his propped elbow making his whole torso exposed for Zoro's eye to feast while other hand still clutching on Zoro's robe. And the position they fell into had Zoro right in between Sanji's open legs. Barely any spaces for their crotch to meet. The position had made Zoro weak he had to slam his arms beside Sanji's head for support putting Sanji in a kabedon. The action startled Sanji as he looked up to see Zoro's wild steel grey eye. It was too much to bear he could only look down and away only then realizing the position that they're into.

There's also that one time they didn't know the other was behind and they turned exactly at the same time that their faces were so close they could almost kiss. Or that one time Zoro didn't know Sanji was still in the bathroom and changing. He just finished training and he's all sweaty and wanted to take a bath and when he opened the door he was greeted with Sanji who was full naked with his back to the door, bending and ass out as Sanji was picking up his tie that fell.

Sanji doesn't know how long he can handle it (since he might have a little bit of a crush on said mosshead) and the situation has left Zoro so pissed (bc everything seems to be out of his control) and confused (bc the cook is so irresistible he can't keep his hands to himself any longer).

To the anon who sent the beach ask, I literally thought about the exact same thing!

The whole outing was organized by none other than Chelsea, the president and founder of the reader fan club herself. She went all out too, renting out a beach so no random men came up to us anyone and had a bunch of food and equipment packed for a beach picnic and games.

Garofano had made us a bathing suit for the beach day and the two piece bikini came out amazingly. It really complimented our figure and it had all of the sinners drooling.

The top of our bikini did slip off whilst we were playing in the water but Adela was kind enough to help us, finding it in the shallow water of the shore and helped us put it back on. She then promptly took us back to the sand so she could help us reapply our sunscreen and to rest with us for a bit.

Somehow, a game of chase had started where the sinners were chasing us. Bai Yi ended catching up to us pretty fast but we dupped her causing her to face plant into the sand. Rahu then caught up to us, but when she went to grab our shoulder, she instead grabbed the back of our bikini causing the strings to come undone a bit too easily.

We ended up tripping as Eleven came from our side in front of us, planning to snatch us up before Rahu could but ended up tumbling to the ground as we collided with her. The next thing you know, Rahu is standing there with our top in had whilst Eleven is laying down with us on top of her, getting a face full of our naked breasts.

Needless to say, Cinnabar wasn't to happy about that. She helped us up, covering us in a towel so we could put our top back on without flashing our tits to the world. Cinnabar helped tie it too, double knotting it so it wouldn't come off as easy as it did. Eleven also endded up getting a nose bleed and it wasn't from falling to the ground.

I just think it’s really funny how Adela was trying to “help” tie the Reader’s bikini for her, but she instead tied it in a way where it could be more loose… I can’t. Secret pervert Adela is soooo…I did not expect it! 💕

Also the fact that Eleven got a face full of tits?? Oh you know all the women are just seething at that. Quickly interrogating and questioning Eleven on what she saw (because they want to know what your boobs look like) only to get no response because Eleven is currently lying on the sand, nose bleeding as she stares up at the sky in a daze 😭😭

I cannot… All the women are just so silly and pining for your attention it’s adorable! I wanna see more silly shenanigans between the sinners because it’s just so fun to read <3

P.S: It’d be so funny if only the calm women (the women who are the least thirsty of the group) are always the ones to see you in compromising positions. They’re the only ones who have seen you nude, do provocative things, etc. while all the thirsty women are left starving because it never happens to them. It’ll be a funny gag to think about 😅

summary: after the motel incident, you find that both Ellie and Joel are completely shaken up, so you tell them to take a break.

It all happened too fast; in the blink of an eye, you watched Joel and Ellie lose two good friends because of a freak accident. A freak show, really. It was no one's fault; but you knew that both would take the blame upon themselves, let guilt swallow them whole.

Even so, you planned to do anything possible to ease their pain and conscience alike.

The three of you left the room Henry and Sam lied dead in, carrying their bodies outside as you began their burial. It was silent; a silence that allowed for dark thought to swarm in and take you by storm. You didn't fight it though. You figured a moment or two of silence is more than welcome in this situation.

Ellie walked towards where Sam had been buried and placed his writing pad atop of it, with the words I'M SORRY written over it. You held your breath, resisting the urge to cry. You knew she took his death harder, having grown closer to him and treated him like a little brother.

She walked away, leaving you and Joel in complete silence to gaze at the graves. Joel remained his usual stoic self, though you could see on his face that he was pretty shaken up by the event, too. Both Henry and Sam's demise was tragic, but the speed with which it all happened and the deep love than ran between the two brothers who could not live without the other was beyond touching; hence why it made everything seem so much more shocking and painful.

"Which way is west?"

Ellie was asking Joel. You watched them closely, and when Joel pointed to his left, Ellie started walking in that direction, never once looking back. You timidly gazed over at Joel, and when your eyes met, you saw sadness in them. He may have been hardened by the harsh reality, but Joel still had care and love left in his heart. He was simply reluctant to show it.

"Go," you muttered to him. "Go after her."

He stared at you, as if not understanding what you were telling him. You placed your hand on his arm, gently, and Joel drew in a sharp breath to steady himself.

"I'll finish here," you told him.

He nodded, handing you the shovel and following Ellie. He may not have been good with words, but currently there was a kid around him that was in tremendous pain, and Joel surely knew how to handle that. It may have been a long time, but his parenting instincts were still buried within him.

You placed some stones around the graves to mark them, then carved an H and an S out of the soil. The more you stared at the I'M SORRY pad, the more you crumbled yourself. Henry and Sam were going to go to Wyoming with the three of you. They were free of Kathleen's revenge hunt. They could've started a whole new life there.

Now it was all gone.

You peeped in the distance and saw Ellie nodding, then, a few seconds later, headed into Joel's arms. And Joel actually hugged her: it was a genuine, real hug. Arms around her, head resting on hers and everything. You thought how long had it been since he last hugged someone. Was it his daughter, as she died in his arms and he clung onto her lifeless body?

The thought sent shivers down your spine. You didn't know that much about Joel or his past, but he did manage to tell you about his daughter one late night. Your heart broke for him, thinking how awful these last two decades must've been for him.

But now, with Ellie... you saw the way he looked after her. You saw a little spark in his eyes whenever she told bad jokes to make him laugh. You didn't ask him much of anything, to be honest. You chose to respect his privacy. After all, it's not like you were a couple or anything. You were just... there. A traveling companion, nothing more.

But you did care for him. And for Ellie. And that could get you in trouble eventually.

You heard Ellie's wail, and came to realize she was crying in Joel's arms. Unable to take it, you walked towards them and gently put your your hand over Joel's, which was cradling her head at his chest.

"How about we stay here for another day?" you proposed.

Ellie looked up, her eyes and cheeks reddened by the tears she let out. You looked mostly at her.

"Don't think that's a good idea," Joel said cautiously.

Then you looked at him. "We pick a different room, opposite of... that one. We're not in a rush, right? There's no one here. I think we can afford one day of mourning and just... being present. Hm? What do you think?"

Joel had to admit, it was a bit hard to snap out of this one. Normally he'd walk right away from a distressing death, but Henry's and Sam's was downright traumatizing, especially to Ellie. Maybe spending today in each other's company was just what you all needed.

"Would that be okay, Ellie?" you asked her.

Sniffling, Ellie nodded in agreement, breaking free from Joel's touch. He quickly clenched his fingers, flexing them as if trying to get rid of something, but you didn't mention that.

Maybe this was the first time he hugged someone in a very long time.

"How about you go pick a room and we'll be right there?" you asked Ellie again.

She started walking towards the motel, leaving you and Joel behind to gaze at her. She was a special kid, that much you could both agree upon. Only when you heard Joel's exhale did you turn to him, noticing the hardened and pained expression residing on his face.

"Thank you," he told you.

"For what?"

"For... bein' here. Means a lot. And... for taking care of Ellie. She could probably use someone more experienced to take care of her."

You made a funny face at him, like you couldn't believe what he just said.

"You remember what Henry told you, back in the tunnel?" you said. "'You may not be her father, but you were someone's'? You got all the right instincts and skills to do this, Joel."

He shook his head, deep in thought. "She's not my kid. And I sure as hell ain't her dad."

"I know. But sometimes caring for someone and protecting them runs deeper than blood."

Joel looked at you, analyzing your face as if he was about to say something else. He didn't; he merely looked at you, his face softening in the slightest.

"I see the way you look at her," you told him. "And I know you said she's just cargo—"

"She ain't so bad. Weird, but... not so bad."

You smiled faintly, and even Joel seemed to chuckle at his own words.

"The bad jokes remind me of Sarah," he said out of the blue.

You held still, almost holding your breath as well. It was rare to see Joel Miller talking openly about himself, if ever, so you didn't want to startle him in any way.

"She told bad jokes too?" you asked.

Joel chuckled, a more hearty sound this time. "Sometimes. Most of the time she was just sassy. And hella feisty. Like a forty year old in a kid's body."

You chuckled too, momentarily forgetting the troublesome morning you've had so far.

"They would've gotten along, I think," he continued mindlessly, staring off into the distance. "They would've been good friends."

There was nothing you could add to that. All you did was listen to him and breathe into the air, trying to calm your heart and your mind alike.

"We should go," you said after a little while.

Joel swung Henry's backpack around his shoulder when he noticed you standing still in spite of your words.

"Joel?"

He looked at you, waiting for a follow-up. He didn't expect to see you inch closer and wrap your arms around him, thus pulling him in for a hug. It was the second time that day that he felt another human's embrace after what felt like an eternity, and it was... good. It was warm. You were warm.

He found himself reciprocating, wrapping his own arms around your torso to keep you close. Neither of you was sure how long you stayed like that, but it was long enough to have Ellie peek from the motel room and see you two embracing in the field. She was going to rush you, ask you what was taking so long, but instead, she remained quiet and stared at you and Joel finally pulling away from each other and sharing an unsuspecting glance at the other.

Well. Unsuspecting for you two, blind fools. But even in the midst of all the pain and sorrow, Ellie saw. She knew. She could only hope that after today, maybe soon, you and Joel will start seeing it, too.

WHOO BOY, there was a lot going on this episode. It went by very fast. I still need to sit down with the transcript at some point.

Sam has been my favorite pretty much from the start. I’m also a failed gifted kid, and that shit hurts. You get all this hot air blown under you as a kid, about all your talents, and intellect. Then when you don’t meet their standards, and you don’t fulfill all that potential they said you had, they stop feeding you hot air, and you just slowly sink. No one catches you either, they’re not mad, just disappointed. Its soul crushing. I can totally understand why Sam would run towards the horrors, anything to prove that it was something else. And not that he just wasn’t good enough.

His statement helped give a lot of context as to why he immediately got drawn in by OIAR cases.

I also wondered if maybe he might be adopted? His comment about “being what they wanted,” being special, made me wonder.

Season 5 reaction

5x01 and Buck and Eddie are already acting like a married couple lmao. But i can understand where the panic attack Eddie had came from. Buck is now just like a concerned husband

5x02 and Clipboard Buck! I love Clipboard Buck! And naturally the way to Buck’s heart is through the kids in his life. He is so precious. And he immediately picked up on Eddie’s panic when Ravi assumed Ana was Eddie’s wife. And then in the firetruck when Buck is talking about the zoo we learn that Buck takes Chris there all the time. Buck is Chris’ dad, and no one can tell me otherwise lol. And Eddie looks so proud. And Bobby is such a dad. Love him. And him and Athena are so cute together

Also, Eddie breaking up with Ana? That scene was also done well. And Eddie acknowledged that he was stringing her along, which is great. Terrible that he did it, but great that he admitted to it

And i just wanna point out that Kenny is such an amazing actor. The emotion he conveys during this whole arc of Maddie leaving is just… whew. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Also, i should have known that Buck knew. I do get Chim’s frustration. The punch shocked me ngl. But, i can see why he did it. I dont think punching was the answer, but like i said. I see why it happened. And naturally Eddie is the one he calls for help the next day. They are husbands your honor

5x05. I LOVE RAVI. “Probie, if you’re gonna vomit do it somewhere else.” “Copy!” *Scurries off.* I love him lmao

And Buck’s panic in 5x06 when he hears the gun shot. He immediately feared that Eddie had been shot again and ran out as fast as he could. And Bobby getting breakfast with Ravi 😭. I love Dad Bobby moments. And speaking of dads, Eddie and Chris 🥹. He loves his kid so much and my heart cant handle it

And Michael wanting to propose to David in 5x08!! The whole montage of the rings and outfits is so funny and i love them so much. And im so happy David said yes!!

The scene in 5x09 where May walks into Bobby and Athena is also fucking hilarious. And Bobby’s little shuffle to the bedroom is just so quirky. And then when he goes “why does this keep happening to you?” Then interrupts Buck and says “No. I’m gonna tell you why.” Bobby is Buck’s dad and i love him so much for it

And later Buck called Eddie out for watching telenovelas and it was so domestic. And Eddie was eating up the drama between Clive and Toni. He just loves it lol. And the episode made me dislike Taylor less. But i really feel like Buck said The Words just cos she did. I dont feel like they were genuine. That might just be me tho

Then in 5x10, Eddie is decorating with Chris and he is just doing as Chris says cos he wants him to be happy and im just melting. This man loves his kid so much and it just makes me so happy. Then Hen’s “baby’s first Christmas” comment to Buck made me chuckle, then I got distracted by the Appa plushie that someone handed Bobby. I love my flying bison sm. And Taylor asked Bobby if Buck would like the sweaters! Everyone knows that Bobby is Buck’s dad! And later Eddie is talking to Buck about Chris’ nightmare. Husbands. They both love their kid so much

Eddie looks so miserable at the beginning of 5x11 ☹️. Baby boy just wants to be fighting fires with his boyfriend. But dinner with Eddie, Chris, Buck, and Taylor kinda surprised me honestly. But ig it makes sense. “You dont need to pretend with me.” Ok. Imma cry now. Thats so sweet wtf. But he misses the 118 and feels left out and i feel for him. Also, drunk Buck is so funny lmao. And Hen is like another sister.

I can understand that Eddie is frustrated that Bobby isn’t letting him back into the 118 yet, but bringing up Bobby’s past like that was totally uncalled for

Im glad that Buck finally told Taylor about the kiss in 5x13, but i didnt even think about how he was kinda trapping her so she couldnt leave, which is. Not great. But i guess they are wanting to work through it so thats good. But the ending with Eddie’s breakdown made me wanna cry. He is going through so much and he wants to get better but he keeps hitting rough patches. But having Buck there to support him and Chris is so sweet and i love that Buck is willing to have those hard convos with Eddie.

And the breakfast scene in 5x14 with Chris and Eddie? These two have a special place in my heart and i cannot handle it lmao. And of course i type that only for it to be a nightmare 😭. But father figure Bobby also has my heart. And the scene with the heart drawings. So domestic

And Karen in 5x15 is so cute. “To catch a thief!” I love her lmao. And Eddie is learning from therapy! Im so proud of him! And Buck was giving total puppy energy during the wedding call. I love him so much.

And in 5x16 Bobby called May his kid!! Excuse me while i cry. And the Eddie/Linda friendship is just so, idk, refreshing? Idk if that is a good word for it but i really like the idea of him being friends with everyone at dispatch. My boy needs to get out there lol. Josh is also such a flustered homosexual and like. Me too. And Eddie was so ready to be back in firefighter mode. Buck being completely clueless about what to not say to a patient then Eddie just. Shaking his head. And May calls Bobby her dad 😭😭😭

5x17: Buck messing with Chris’ dinosaur while Eddie is packing, man there is just something so domestic about it. And the Chim and Hen friendship is so funny i love it so much. And i just really dislike Taylor. Also i know that we call Buck the golden retriever, but Eddie looked like such a kicked puppy when we was talking to his dad. But im glad they had a conversation and they want to do better

5x18: Im glad to see Eddie acknowledging how bottling things up isnt good, even if its in his joking manner. “I dont have your bone structure. I could never pull it off.” Bro im DEAD. Thats so funny to me. And my boy Ravi. Talking about having a partner is about knowing that they will have your back. Buck, takes notes. Cos who’s back did you promise to have? Hmm?? Then Buck talks about partners being at their lowest together and still working together and growing together. If that isnt foreshadowing idk what is. And Eddie is back at the 118!! Obviously i knew it was gonna happen but im still happy

And thats that for season 5! I dont really have any other additional thoughts, just that with things that happened in season 7, it just feels like there was some foreshadowing for Buddie. But i think we all know that

He tries to cause a miscarriage in her by stabbing her but she fights back and he only manages to slash her upper abdomen before she and Goeun get saved by Do-Ki. This is when she tells both of them about her pregnancy. After the battle is done, she and her unborn child are checked out by the doctors to see if they are okay and her stomach injury is cauterized and she is checked on by and reunited with Do-Ki and the Rainbow group, who were recovering from the injuries caused by Baek Sung Mi and her men.

everything happened so fast. one minute you were helping people get justice, the next it all seemed to come crashing down. it pissed you off at how easy is was for baek sung mi to betray you and your friends.

you hadn’t been at rainbow taxi for as long as some of your other friends but you played a key role along side do-ki. your relationship with him was somewhat complicated. best friends with benefits. you both got along really well and while you had your fun with him, you knew when to get to work to get results. you enjoyed taking down those who needed it and if you had it your way, they wouldn’t have been going to the prison. they would’ve suffered an even worse fate.

you weren’t with go-eun when she received the call from kang maria that she had seen jong-guen who should’ve been in prison. after telling go-eun to wait for you to see maria, she of course didn’t listen and it was now coming becoming dark and she hadn’t yet returned. it made you worried. go-eun was like a sister to you. you needed to head out soon to check if she was alright. but, you had one quick thing to sort out for yourself.

you picked up the envelope that you had been avoiding all day. with a deep breath you slowly opened the envelope and saw the scans that were inside. it was from the ultrasound you had a couple of days ago.

yes, you were pregnant.

you tried to match up the timeline as best as possible and you narrowed it down to your time at UDATA when you were helping do-ki. you remember vividly seducing one of the managers in order to help do-ki with the whole plan. you wished the pregnancy tests were wrong and you wished the ultrasound scan was wrong too but, of course they weren’t.

this changed everything for you.

with a sigh, you stuffed the scans into your back pocket securely before going to get ready to look for go-eun. so, you set off on the journey to the jeotgal factory. you would’ve taken the motorbike but if your friend and maria were to be in trouble, a car would work best.

after a while you reached to the destination. it was dark and looked like no one was around. you wandered around trying to look for any signs of go-eun and maria. you continued looking around until you heard crying and whimpering. it sounded like maria so you picked up your pace and ran in the direction of sound.

that’s when you came across maria on the floor with jong-guen on top of her, holding her hair as she cried.

“you fucking asshole” you muttered as anger filled inside of you.

jong-guen’ facial expression was shocked and he slowly let go of maria to stand up and face you.

“who did you think you are?” he spat and you scoffed before going towards him.

you were going to give this asshole the beating that he deserved.

“leave me and maria alone!” he yelled standing up to try intimidate you.

it of course didn’t work.

you rolled your hand into a ball and threw a punch directly onto his left cheek and he stumbled back in shock, groaning in pain. maria had gotten up and ran behind you to hide.

just as you were about to throw a second punch he suddenly got on his knees and begged for you to not hurt him.

“leave me alone please! i’ll tell you where he’s keeping go-eun, just leave me alone” he begged and you sighed.

you turned your head to look at maria who was shaking in fear. you had to get justice for her as she was terrified of him. when you turned to look at him again his eyes were wide before you threw another punch. this punch was much harder and it knocked him out cold.

you hurriedly went over to maria to check on her.

“are you okay? he didn’t hurt you, right?” you checked her over and she shook her head to indicate she wasn’t hurt.

you breathed a sigh of relief and then helped her get into the passengers side of the car.

“you stay here okay?” you told her and she nodded her head “can you tell me where they’re keeping go-eun so i can help her?”

after maria explained the way to go, you took out some zip ties and tied jong-eun up before throwing him into the back of the car so if he did wake up he couldn’t escape.

once you did a final check to make sure maria was okay. you headed in the direction of where maria told you. as you approached it, you pressed your ear to the big wooden door and listened to what was happening.

go-eun was crying and jeong-eun’ boyfriend was laughing as he spoke.

“don’t cry, i’ll do the same for you. i’ll make you look pretty. a video of ahn jeong-eun’ sister” you could hear the amusement in his voice and it disgusted you “if i upload it, it’ll be a hit!”

that’s when you heard enough and burst through the door, he was sat on top of go-eon trying to take off her clothes.

“leave her alone” you yelled as the door slammed shut behind you.

“oh what do we have here now” he smirked getting up off go-eun “ah i remember you. y/n l/n, how’s it going? i was just showing my dear go-eun a video of her sister, she misses her very dearly”

“you bastard” you spat through grit teeth and went towards him, getting yourself prepared to fight.

he stood up and as you both began to fight. with each punch you threw at him, he countered it. one particular punch you threw knocked the wind out of him and he had to take a second to get himself together.

this gave you the opportunity to use your whole body to tackle him into a nearby table where his head made contact with the corner of it, knocking him out.

as soon as he was down, you rushed over to go-eun. she was still crying and you tried to comfort her. but nothing seemed to work.

“come on, we need to get out of here” you rubbed her back as she was now sat up.

“his phone-i need the phone” she sobbed and you turned to scan the room for the phone.

you noticed it laying in a corner so, you hurriedly went over to grab it. as you bent down to pick it up go-eun let out an ear piercing scream.

“y/n watch out!” she screamed and you flicked your head to look at her.

that’s when you felt something hard hit your head and everything then went black.

when you woke up your vision was blurred as your eyes adjusted to everything again. beside you was go-eun who was watching you with worry.

“go-eun what’s going on?” your voice came out as a croak, you head was pounding and you still weren’t fully aware yet.

“you’re finally awake” the voice of jeong-eun’ boyfriend chimed as you turned to look at him.

he was continuing to set up a camera and when he saw you sit up, he walked over to you with a smirk. he squat down in front of you and rubbed your cheek softly.

it made you sick.

“we are going to have lots of fun because look what i found” he reached into his pocket and pulled out something.

when you focused on what it was, your eyes went wide.

“you’re pregnant” he leaned into your ear and whispered.

he scrunched the scans and put it back into his pocket, with each second you grew angrier.

“do you know how much money i’ll make when they find out you’re pregnant, you know what they say right? being pregnant makes it feel 100x better” he placed a hand on your upper thigh and you shot daggers into him.

if looks could kill he would’ve already been dead.

“i need to finish set up but sit her and wait patiently for me, okay?” he then pat your cheek before going over to continue setting up his camera.

“go-eun don’t worry, we’ll get out of here. just wait for a little longer” you sent your friend a smile and she just nodded her head. her hands were still tied and she was still in shock.

your did you best to wriggle out and undo the rope that was holding your hands behind you. it was difficult but you eventually managed. go-eun watched as you waited for the right opportunity and before you knew it you were stood up ready to fight again.

“you just don’t get it, do you?” jeong-eun’ boyfriend sighed dramatically as he pulled out a blade.

as you got closer to him he swiped the blade in front of you and you skilfully jumped back to avoid.

“bringing a knife to a fist fight isn’t very fair, is it?” you mocked as he scoffed.

“bring it on bitch” he spat moving towards you to try and stab you.

you swiftly moved backwards and raised your leg to kick his side. as he stumbled, you used your strength to grab him by his collar and pushed him towards a wall where you then jabbed his abdomen. he winced and then brought the hand with the knife in it to try and forcefully stab your stomach but you quickly held onto the hand and did your best to hold it back.

he then manoeuvred his body to flip you around so that you were now against the wall.

“if i cant kill you, i’ll kill your baby” he brought his other hand to grip the knife too now and used as much force as possible to try and ram the knife into your lower stomach but, you weren’t going to let him.

your hands clenched his as you brought the knife towards your upper abdomen instead. if he was going to stab you, you’d rather it be there.

“come on y/n, don’t you want to save your unborn child” he taunted bringing the knife back towards your lower abdomen.

you bit your lip and you struggled to move the knife back towards your upper abdomen, your hands were slowly beginning to slip so you needed to think of something fast.

the blade was now touching you, there was pressure but not enough to pierce through the skin.

you lifted your knee up into jeong-eun’ boyfriends crotch and he cursed losing his focus for a moment. you used this opportunity to lift the knife and push it away from your body. you then also used force to push him away from you.

you were breathing hard and took a second to collect yourself.

“you bitch” he screamed and ran towards you with knife in hand again.

he aimed straight for your abdomen and you let out a scream as you went to go tackle him. you felt the blade make contact with your stomach area.

he let out an evil laugh as you kicked him away causing you to stumble backwards. you hands instinctively went to your your stomach area and you prepared for the worse as you felt warmth on your hands and when you looked down you saw red.

you became furious and was just about to fight jeong-eun’ boyfriend again when suddenly, a vehicle drove through into the wooden doors knocking him down. you watched as do-ki got out of the car, he went to check on go-eun and he then noticed you in the corner holding your stomach.

do-ki’ eyes became dark and all of a sudden jeong-eun’ boyfriend tackled him and pinned him against a wall.

“long time no see, seeing you brings back old memories” he had an evil smirk as he said those words.

“what did you do to them?” do-ki asked while glaring at hi’.

“nothing compared to what you did”

do-ki took a deep breath in and soon the two were fighting. you went over to go-eun to check is she was okay and maria came out of the car too. you undid the last parts of the rope around her go-eun’ hands and gave her a hug.

“you’re bleeding” she looked down at your stomach and you shook your head.

“im fine” you sent her a small smile and she nodded before looking over at do-ki who easily overpowered jeong-eun’ boyfriend and was beating the absolute crap out of him.

go-eun slowly stood up and you watched as she stopped do-ki from beating him to death. jeong-eun’ boyfriend was just about passed out on the floor. conscious but barely.

“his phone” go-eun said and do-ki got it from the man on the floor who even after getting beat was trying to do evil by trying to stop them from getting the phone.

after go-eun got the phone she immediately began to smash it letting out all of her emotions. it gave you relief knowing that your friend was getting justice. do-ki hugged her as she cried, attempting to sooth her.

maria helped you up as you walked towards jeong-eun’ boyfriend. you dropped to your knees and began to rummage through his pockets to get back what belonged to you.

he tried stopping you, his hands attempting to push you away but it was no use and you pushed his hands down and got what you needed. you took deep breathes in as you looked at the scrunched up scans before putting it into your own pocket.

“y/n what is that?” do-ki asked as you stood up.

“it’s nothing” you cleared your throat and go-eun placed a hand on your arm.

“you need to tell him” she said to you and you sighed.

you reached into your pocket and pulled out the scrunched up scans.

“i’m pregnant” you finally said and do-ki looked at you confused “i worked it out and it’s from the time i seduced the UDATA manager”

“you’re bleeding” do-ki stepped closer to you and you shook your head.

“it’s just a scratch, i’ll be fine” you told him and he placed a hand on your cheek.

you appreciated his warm touch and closed your eyes to embrace it. he’d always brought you comfort.

“are you sure you’re okay?” do-ki asked looking at the cut on your stomach, his hand reached for the fabric covered in blood and he knelt down to check on the wound. his hand traced the slash would.

“its more on your upper abdomen” his touch was soft as he put the fabric down. you face showing discomfort as it was slightly sore.

“we need go, the police will be here soon” you tried to hide your pain by hastily trying to leave.

“you’re staying here with maria, the police will be able to take you to the hospital to get treated” do-ki told you and you shook your head.

“no way! im helping you fight these assholes, they can’t get away with what they’ve done to us” you fired back, you wanted to fight along side your friends.

“stop being stubborn, you’ve done enough already by helping save go-eun and maria. sit this next part out- think about your baby” do-ki was firm and you wanted to continue arguing but you knew he was right.

“okay” you sighed in defeat “but if for even a second i hear any of you are in trouble, im coming after you”

do-ki let out a smile and nodded.

“i know” he pressed a kiss to your temple before gesturing for go-eun to follow him.

soon after they left, the police arrived with an ambulance. they arrested the prisoners, took maria somewhere safe and got you in an ambulance to the hospital.

they treated the wound and ran some blood tests, the only thing you were waiting for is the results to check if your unborn child was okay.

“let’s have a look, shall we” the doctor said cheerfully with a smile.

he put the cold gel over your lower abdomen and moved the ultrasound machine into the desired position to best have a look at your baby.

you held your breath as you waited for the doctor to let you know all was okay.

“there we go! baby is still breathing, the size is good and heartbeat is good too” the doctor broke the news to you and you let out a sigh of relief with a smile.

“thank you doctor” you told him and he shook his head.

“you got really lucky, if you had been cut any lower it would have been dangerous. make sure to get some rest” the doctor pat your shoulder before leaving the room.

the next morning, go-eun and kyung-goo came to visit you.

“ah i told you to use protection all those times” kyung-goo scolded and you let out a small laugh.

“you sound like my father” you lifted your arm up to hit him gently.

“im glad you’re okay y/n” go-eun then chimed in and she held your hand.

“how are the rest of them? are they okay? do-ki is safe right?” you questioned.

“mr park is still in the icu recovering, he had it the worst. mr jang is getting some rest and do-ki..we’re going to see him straight after” go-eun explained and you nodded your head.

“i’m coming with you” you sat up and pushed the hospital blanket off of you.

“you need to rest” kyung-goo tried stopping you.

“no, im going to see him. i have to” you began to stand up.

they knew not to try and stop you so instead they helped you as they all walked to do-ki’ room. when you all entered the room, you saw him laying on the bed sleeping.

for someone who had taken a hell of a beating, he still somehow managed to look good. he had a couple of cuts and bruises on his face.

your two friends spoke to him first and once they were done they let you speak with him one on one. they knew the relationship you had with do-ki.

go-eun helped pull up a chair next to his bed and you took a seat in it as your other friends left so you could be alone with him.

for the first few minutes neither of you said a word.

“how is it that even after getting beaten up, you still manage to look good” you chuckled and he let out a laugh in response.

“im just too perfect” he smiled looking at your facial expression.

you tried your best to hid the fact you were emotional. you usually weren’t but with the recent events and with everything you and your friends went through, it broke a part of you.

“what’s wrong?” he reached his hand out to place it on your leg.

“it’s nothing, im just happy to see you” you smiled sadly placing one of your hands on top of the one he had on your leg.

“how’s your baby?” he then looked down at your stomach and you nodded.

“baby is fine, they’re tough just like me” you proudly said and do-ki squeezed your leg and you then sighed slightly.

“do-ki, i know i never planned for this to happen and im sorry that it did. i hope this doesn’t change anything between us” you nervously told do-ki.

you never usually got nervous.

“why would it change anything? do you think i care? i accept you no matter what, even if you were an ogre i’d still accept you” he teased you towards the end trying to lighten up the mood.

“you idiot” you couldn’t help but laugh as you shook your head.

he then took a hold of your hand and gently pulled you down. your face hovered over his and you raised an eyebrow.

“kiss me then” do-ki whispered with a smirk looking at your lips.

you brought a hand to hold his cheek as you connected your lips with his.

“enough of that now! this is a public place” kyung-goo suddenly burst into the room and you pulled away “it’s lucky i was looking through the window in the door, or else i don’t know what you two would’ve gotten up to!”

you turned to kyung-goo and rolled your eyes playfully.

“yeah and what would we have done?” you fired at him and his eyes went wide.

“you both know what you would have done!” he retaliated and do-ki let out a laugh as go-eun nudged kyung-goo to tell him to stop.

“you should be on my side go-eun. these two have no shame!” he complained, before leaning against the wall next to the hospital bed.

“you should know by now, go-eun is always on my side kyung-goo” you smiled as you shuffled on the chair to make space off her to sit.

she happily sat next to you.

everyone in the room began to bicker and you sat back admiring them. it felt like home and you couldn’t wait until the rest of the rainbow group were okay so that it could feel complete once again.

it would soon get there. you’d make sure of it.

I have some thoughts on that 9-1-1 finale:

The Bobby thing got resolved pretty fast and it feels like quite a few loose ends haven't been tied up. It could be that they'll pick them up in S8 but I don't know how much I trust the writers lol

Contrary to popular opinion (at least on my side of the fandom) I think Chris going away is a good thing, at least temporarily. Eddie needs to get his shit together without also worrying about parenting Chris, and the Diaz parents were a lot more supportive than I gave them credit for

Doesn't change the fact that I bawled like a baby when Chris left, that whole scene broke me 😭

While it makes sense for the focus to be around how Mara is feeling in all of this, I would've liked to see Henren in fight mode a little more. Especially after Hen says "we haven't tried begging" I kind of thought we would see her and/or Karen at that council woman's office at some point this episode. The writing felt a little sloppy

That being said Madney taking care of Mara until this is figured out was 100% the best move!

i am enjoying tmagp so far but one criticism i have of it is how fast paced it is already. like SO MANY things are happening at once! i don’t mind character-driven stories and i obviously don’t expect tmagp to be exactly like tma but like.. please slow down a little, my brain is so tiny and it can only process so much information at once 😭

joking aside though, i do think it’s a genuine flaw. fast-paced stories can be done effectively but it should be done in a way where it doesn’t come off as overwhelming. already i feel like the fandom is forgetting quite a few things mentioned in some of the earlier episodes because of how much is going on in each episode. we got sam trying to uncover his past, celia possibly being from another dimension, sam and alice’s strained relationship, sam’s and celia’s new relationship, colin being paranoid as fuck and being put on mental health leave, the whole thing with gwen and lena and mr bonzo, concerns about employees being unable to effectively quit OIAR… and we’re only 14 episodes in!!

they just cram in new information every episode and while they are all very interesting INDIVIDUALLY, it’s really hard to keep up with everything, least of all the statements. two minutes into the episode, i’m unable to focus on the statement because my brain is still processing the conversations that happened prior to it.

maybe it’s just a me problem. i enjoyed tma so much because of its slow descent into horror and lore. because it took its sweet time doing the world building first while giving us bits of character information, before fully going into the character dynamics and interpersonal conflict. it felt a lot more compelling and a lot more easier to keep up with. (also i’m not too fond of the whole love triangle thing that’s going on currently in tmagp, but that’s definitely a subjective thing. i was never a fan of unnecessary drama when it comes to romance.) 🗣️

Episode 7: I’m only 20 seconds in and i already can not handle the drama 😭😭😭 He followed her because he was worried because the last time she left she was having a panic attack and fainted and now he finds out she’s his worst enemy :(( somebody take that pen away from shonda, there is no need for this much angst :(((

As angsty as this scene is i have to commend Luke Netwon’s acting because that tear rolling down his face, colin’s just a sensitive baby boy and it shows. Also kudos to Nicola coughlan’s acting because i can just feel how distraught penelope is over the whole situation.

How does Charlie react to the Vaggie is an Exorcist reveal in your AU?

So I'm actually in the middle of reworking ton of the BIG parts in season 1 (the meeting with Adam in the first EP, the final episode, etc), which INCLUDES the "Welcome to Heaven" episode!!!!!

(I have no idea when they'll be tho 😭 its all written and planned out but I wanna draw it out)

So I sorta touched on this at the end of this post here but BASICALLY bc in this little ol' rewrite, Charlie doesnt exactly have the cleanest past either. She's hurt and maimed and did a whole bunch of stupid things that she DEEPLY regrets.

So in that sense, she CAN understand how Vaggie was feeling and she TOTALLY gets why she mightve been hesitant to confess this!!! She gets it, she REALLY does I SWEAR!!!!

But at the same time..... Charlie told Vaggie EVERYTHING!!! She told her about her rocky relationship with her dad, she told her about her own past, about her own regrets and mistakes. Vaggie quite literally knows EVERYTHING there is to know about Charlie because Charlie TRUSTS her.

Or- she DID trust her. It's confusing. Everything Charlie knew about Vaggie seemed to be wrong. Vaggie wasn't a moral, she wasn't a mortal. Vaggie told her things about when she was 'alive' that were essentially recollections of her time as an Exorcist in Heaven twisted with lies.

I imagine that after they come back from Heaven, after it's all revealed and the truth is out in the open, Charlie needed...... space.

I think she did anything and everything in her power to avoid Vaggie by all means possible

And OF COURSE Vaggie wasn't gonna try and FORCE Charlie to just GET OVER IT, Hell, Vaggie was already planning for Charlie to break up with her over this.

Charlie's forced, for the first time in 3 years, to sit and think on an issue without Vaggie and it SUCKS.

SHE WAS CONFLICTED OK??? Like she DOES understand why Vaggie didn't tell her this SUPER important detail but at the same time, it HURT to know that Vaggie lied about everything, that Vaggie thought Charlie wouldn't accept this, that's where the pain comes from.

But ofc they talk it out and things will slowly start to come back together (and definitely wont happened as fast as it did in the show (which I UNDERSTAND WHY IT HAPPENED SO FAST BC ITS A SHOW AND THEY ONLY HAVE SO MUCH TIME TO WRAP UP CERTAIN POINTS IN A SEASON))

I think once they talk it out and confront each other, Charlie's definitely going to want to hear EVERYTHING (or at least as Vaggie is willing to tell her, because even if Charlie's upset, she's still Charlie and doesnt wanna make Vaggie any MORE miserable than this whole situation has already made both of them)- basically she'll want to hear Vaggie life story, her TRUE life story, not the lies of humanity that she stuck with for so many years.

But everything will be okay with them I prommy :)

I’m going to be honest, I don’t care about the characters or story so far because I feel like I’m being told I should care, but not shown why I should care. The pacing is horrible so far. Everything is moving too fast. The show also suffers from having horrible lighting. It’s hard to care about what’s happening when you can’t see what’s happening on the screen. It’s all very boring right now. Where’s the chaos that kept me hooked the first time?? Actors are great, I’ll give them that. But the show is so far not doing it for me
