i don’t think i’ve had a chance to show yall my osemanverse collection?? if i have then i’ve totally forgotten lol but here she is so far!

i also plan on getting the hardback version of the new radio silence cover! they only had the softcover when i went to the store 💔 (i also plan to get the other OTHER alt cover, that colorful one with the girl’s face but in hardback!)

also i do have a heartstopper volume 5! it’s just a US version 😭 the size and stuff are a little different than the UK versions but i didnt catch that until i was already home from the store 😭 (it made me realize i’ve only ever bought hs online! truly very interesting how that works lol!)

but yeah! that’s the collection so far! looking forward to finding more editions to my favs! 🫶

I want to hug Charlie because he's going through so much! and Tori because she MATTERS! and Oliver becausw hes so pure hearted and and their mom bcz shes so tired and she feels bad and their dad for trying and just the Spring family for everything and because as Oliver says Hugs make everything better and I want to hug Nick and Sarah for being so sweet and kind and nice about everything...! i finished reading This Winter 30 minutes ago why am I still crying 😭

I also got the sequel in another series I’m reading (the gifts series by Caroline O’Donoghue, the first one was so good!! Queer rep, witchy stuff, and a rescue mission.) so I’m very excited!!

Michael and Nick have similar issues with feeling lonely but also they are completely different.

Nick feels lonely because he changed himself entirely, his identity, smile, interests, etc, for the people around him. He feels lonely because he is without himself.

Michael feels lonely because he IS lonely he was without friends for most of his life but he never changed himself. He kept his identity, smile, interests, etc. But he was lonely until he met Tori.

The two, logically, would be become dependent to their important people, Charlie and Tori, but for different reasons that include their loneliness.

Charlie helped Nick wake up. He helped Nick realize that he was lost without himself that he was entirely unhappy and needed help. Nick is dependent on Charlie because Charlie was the only thing that Nick could find in himself. Nick is lonely without his identity and since Charlie is helping build Nick's identity back Nick is dependent on him.

Michael would be, logically, dependent on Tori. Tori is his first friend we can assume in years. The first person to get him and actually try to understand him. She is the first person to not immediate judge and then ignore Michael entirely. Michael would be dependent on her for companionship. Michael spending most of his time with Tori, thinking about Tori in a way that can seem obsessive, makes sense because Tori broke down Michaels immunity to feeling nothing to being alone. He wasn't alone finally and he got used to not being alone. So if Tori left for even a week or two he'd begin to feel lonely again which will cause him to break.

Anyway YUUUUHHH.
