I wrote this little ficlet (available on AO3 too) for Valentine's Day, it's called "Just a small green ball":

Dean is in the kitchen of the bunker. He is in a good mood, humming led zeppelin’s songs while cooking. Sam and Eileen took Jack out of the bunker for few days but based on the quantity of food Dean already made in less than two hours, no one would think there are only two here, and even less that one is a human and the other an angel that doesn’t really eat.

He is flipping the pancakes he prepared when he feels a strong and warm body pressing against his back, arms wrapping around his waist.

“Hello, Dean.” The gravely and familiar voice whispers into his ear, triggering goosebumps on his neck and arms and a smile. Then soft and tender lips kiss him on his pulse point. “Are you really that hungry?”

“No, I’m not.” Dean answers like he is hiding something, that’s when he feels that warm touch leaving. He turns around and faces Cas, looking at him with squinted eyes and his head tilted.

“Dean, why did you cook all these?” Cas asks, his eyes wandering on the kitchen counter. There is an apple pie, already cooked pancakes on the left and raw pancakes dough on the right with PB&J sandwiches. But this is not all, ingredients to cook burgers are also visible and probably even more are in the fridge.

“I have a gift for you.” Dean explains, smiling widely, as he fidgets the pocket of his jeans. “Ta da.” He exclaims, holding a little red wooden box between them. “Open it.” He tells Cas, who is looking at the box, puzzled. The angel takes it and does as told.

“Dean, what’s that?” Cas asks, his head is not tilted anymore but he looks at Dean questioningly.

“I’ve been looking for it for a looong time. And I finally found it. I was thinking that today might be a good day to give you this gift. Since, you know –“ Dean says, acting goofily, but Cas rolls his eyes. He still doesn’t know what this one small green ball is for.

“I know it’s Valentine’s Day, Dean. Isn’t that why Sam and Eileen left the bunker with Jack for few days? Because you know –“ Cas stops and lifts his arms, then adds “we were ‘celebrating it too loudly’ last year”, using the air quotes. Dean’s cheeks turn slightly pinkish remembering the reason for the loud noises last year. He swallows hard.

“Eat it.” Dean orders, he can’t wait any longer, for the next part of the surprise.

“You want me to eat the ball?” Cas asks, and Dean looks at him like he expects him to realize the innuendo, but he never does and in a way he thinks that makes it even funnier. At least it makes him feel fonder of Cas. Dean nods, looking at Cas lovingly. With that gaze, he could make Cas do anything, even if the angel doesn’t really need that to do everything for Dean. Cas swallows the ball. “What now?”

“Come, sit here.” Dean leads Cas to the kitchen’s table by grabbing his arm and Cas lets himself be dragged where Dean wants. Cas settles while Dean grabs the PB&J sandwiches on the counter and brings them to the table. He looks excited and Cas still doesn’t understand why but he smiles, because he loves seeing him happy. Though he knows PB&J’s could do that to someone, because he used to feel like this when he was a human and could taste them. He still misses them.

Dean pushes the plate towards Cas. “Eat.” He offers, smiling proudly. They sure look good, and Cas would love to do that, but they are just going to taste like molecules. He can’t refuse though, not when Dean looks at him like that with big wide eyes, he looks like the child he was never allowed to be. Cas grins at him and picks one up. Dean watches him expectantly as Cas leads it slowly to his mouth and takes a bite. Suddenly, Dean sees Cas’s eyes open widely in shock.

“Dean,” he exults, his mouth full.

“I know,” Dean nods, smiling. He did good on this one and feels proud when he sees how Cas takes one bite after another with really breathing. “Easy tiger, slow down.” Dean chuckles.

“But Dean, I can taste it, like human taste it.” Cas observes, then adds “How is that even possible?” Cas asks, picking up another sandwich.

“That green ball is responsible for it.” Dean explains, as he takes one sandwich for himself.

“I guessed that. Where did you find it?” Cas asks, his mouth filled again with peanut butter and jelly.

“I’m not going to reveal all my little secrets.”

“I guess I’ll have to make you spit it out then.” Cas says, smirking.

“Right.” Dean answers, and swallows hard. “But first we've got a big and tasty day ahead of us. You should try my burgers.” Dean says as he gets up and walks toward the kitchen.

Later, now that they are settle in the Dean cave in front of a movie to digest every meal Dean prepared, he needs to know, “so what’s your favorite meal then? Pie? I’m sure it’s pie? Or burgers? I did them real good today.” Dean shifts in Cas’s arms, because he wants to look at him when he answers.

“You, Dean.” Cas throws.

“I – huh –“ Dean’s cheeks turn really pink this time, it’s even perceivable with only the TV screen’s light on. Dean doesn’t have time to say more that Cas’s lips take possession of his in a hungry - despite all this food - and heated kiss.

One of my ideal destiel weddings happens mid-battle. Dean is dodging this week's monster, Cas at his back fighting something else equally as sinister. There is, yet again, another apocalypse looming over them. Team Free Will (2.0) is once again backed into a corner. They don't think they're making it out of this alive.

Between slashes of his weapon, Dean asks over the noise. "Cas, will you marry me?"

Cas almost gets himself stabbed, but he says. "Really? Here and now? Out of every opportunity we had?"

"Yes! There's no need to bitch about it. I love you, yada yada, some end of the world crap about not having any regrets before we die."

"I love you too." Cas' angel blade finally pierces the enemy's skin. "And yes, I would love to be your husband!"

"SAMMY!"

From across the room, or field, or road, Sam yelps over the sound of his own fight. "What?!"

"You went to law school, can you officiate for me and Cas?"

"That's not how it works, Dean!"

"Then fucking do it anyway!"

Y'know, like that one scene between Elizabeth and Will from Pirates of the Caribbean...

RomCom Movie Idea: Widower Actor Dads (played by Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins) that have been best friends forever that when their wives die in a horrible accident help eachother through the grief and eventually find out they're in love with eachother. But thats not the plot of the movie. The actual plot is that their daughters are getting lesbian married and they've been in the closet the whole time because they've been putting it off until the kids were ready which ok kinda makes sense I guess but even when the daughters came out they didnt want to steal their moment but they kept putting it off until one day the daughters come home from college to announce their wedding and so dad a is like "nows the time" and dad b agrees but then daughter a anounces that shes marrying daughter b before the dads get the chance to come clean and again they dont wanna steal their moment once again so they resign to wait until after the wedding but dad b is basically living with dad a now and so until they come out its a minor problem but dad b decides he wants to give the daughters his house as a wedding present when they finally do but until then they are in a pickly wickly predicament. So its really just wedding shenanigans and trying to keep The Secret (that could the the title of the movie; also maybe its too long for a movie and should be a show instead) and occasional flash backs to their relationship throughout the years until everything comes to a screeching halt on the wedding night at the reception cuz the dads sneak away and the daughters go looking for them and come across a couple getting hot and heavy in a closet only to open to tell them to move it along ("this is a wedding not a porn set") only to find out its their dads so its a big thing that the daughters are mad cuz the dads never told them but its quickly resolved (and maybe the daughters feel bad that the dads were gonna come out to them but didnt want to dim the daughters spotlight and resigned to waiting again and when the daughters hear the dads say that the daughters feel sad but really loved because of course their dads would sacrifice their own happiness for theirs, they always have) in time for a tabloid to come out with the scandal and for them to all hold a united front and the dads to say in an interview that they're not ashamed to be together (just a little embarrassed about the incident and wished it wasnt publicized, "it was probably Rhonda" "I never liked her") and when asked why they were in the closet so long "we said for the kids and we believed that excuse for a while -and also the excuse that we just kept putting it off for a more convenient time or when we wouldn't be taking the spotlight off the girls- but really we were just scared" and things die down eventually and they decide to get married too and their daughters walk them down the aisle (going full circle). And then their daughters adopt and they get to be gay grandpas together.

(Honestly its really just a cockles/destiel au fanfic and to be on the nose Jensen's character is named Misha Ackles and Misha's is Jensen Collins, or more subtly Jensen's is Ross Collins and Misha's is Nic Ackles.)

Happy 3rd Destiel wedding aniversary to them both

Dead or alive, in heaven or on earth, they are both celebrating together and happy, and no one can take this away from them, not ever.

Cas took dean for a picnic today by a lake, where they can lay and look up at the snow covered mountains surrounding them. Jack joins them at one point to wish them well, but they cherish the alone time they have now before the rest of their family gets here, as they still have years to make up with each other, and a lifetime together would still not be enough for the lost time.

Yeah deans life was full of tragedies up until the day he died, but he would not change a thing if it meant this moment never happening. He would choose to go through it all again if it meant having not only cas but jack, sam, eileen ect

He is happy wherever he is now doesn't matter what the writers or chuck say

I’m looking for a story where Dean and Cas get together during the fic, and after they get together one of them gets hurt. I would especially love if it is a case!fic and if Cas is human and panics when he realises he can’t heal Dean. One that comes to mind but does not have human!cas is “One Cold Night” by xylodemon. There's plenty of fics where Dean or Cas are injured and the other one is going out of their mind, but the tricky part here is that the harm has to happen after they got together. That narrows down possible recs.

Kung Fu Grip  by 8sword - post canon, established relationship and Dean is de-aged by spell to his 17 yo body.

All The Nights by NorthernSparrow - season 15, they're opposite of together, rather, right after the divorce arc. But Dean is injured and they are isolated together.

On Drowning by domesticadventures - Cas almost drowned, Dean almost lost his mind. Season 10, human Cas, before the relationship.

Why This Doesn’t Mean Destiel: Part 2 - Dean Wrapping up Castiel's Corpse

Okay, so I saw this take floating around Twitter and Tumblr again in the last week or so: if Destiel isn’t canon then why did they have Dean wrap up Castiel's body in 13x01? This obviously means they’re married became because this is a ritual for widows in …. You get it. Well, allow me to offer my rebuttals to this totally unbiased idea. Now, I know hellers will never listen or care because they have their heads buried too far in the Destiel quicksand to ever see the light, but honestly, I just like to argue against takes that show a lack of media literacy, or takes that deliberately ignore the rest if the text, especially when it’s easy to do.

Arguments and screen shots under the cut due to length.

First: Let’s go with the Wincest reasons, just for funsies, and because I know it would piss hellers off. Dean can’t be married to Cass because, in Season 8, he already married Sam in a hand-fasting ritual. In a church. In front of a witness (Crowley). And despite some rough times in Seasons 9 abd 10, they never did get a divorce.

And:

So, if we need to put romantic significance on a moment like Dean wrapping Cass' body up for burning, then we also need to put romantic significance on Sam and Dean exchanging promises of devotion in a church (wedding), especially when the later is a very popular Western tradition and Suoernatural does, in fact, take place in the Western world. "But they’re brothers!" I might hear you cry is disdain. Well, Sam and Dean are weird, so there is that. But, it’s true, they are brothers, so they aren’t technically married in a romantic sense. But, neither are Cass and Dean. Dean considers Cass like a brother, too (which he has said more than once). He has also never referred to Cass and himself like a couple, even in passing or as a joke. In fact, he’s taken exception to the very suggestion (10x05). Thus, it’s not a romantic gesture on his part, but a familial gesture, a brothers in arms gesture.

Second: if Dean wrapping Castiel’s body can only be read as romantic in nature then how do we explain all of these moments:

1) Is it Sam or Dean who are in love with their dad? Or did they prepare John for burning together? Or did they get someone else to wrap him up before they burned him, so as to avoid the primarily spousal burial ritual from another culture that would have implied incest?

2) I guess nodoby could have had any romantic feelings for Ellen or Jo because, seeing as they got blown up, and didn’t have bodies to lovingly prepare before the ritual hunters cremation. Sucks to be them, I guess.

3) I guess Dean had to be in love with Charlie, even though that idea is not allowed because she’s a lesbian, since someone had to prepare Charlie’s body. Or was it Sam? It certainly looks like both of them where dealing with her body. No wait! Maybe Castiel did it, because he’s an angel so it doesn’t count. But, then it does count, but only if Dean is doing it for him... ?

4) What about Asa Fox and the other hunters who died in 12x06? Who was in love with them?!! Asa's body was wrapped up before Jody got to the wake, and she was the closest to being in a romantic relationship with him.

5) Oh no, who's in love with Mary? Which of her deviant sons prepped her before cremation? Or did Castiel do it? But, again, that would mean he’s in love with her. If only preparing somoncy's body before cremation didn’t only mean a character was in love with them. But, it does, I guess … So many plot-holes about who prepares the bodies in this show. If only there were an easier explanation. Also, it doesn’t look like Dean is feeling too romantic towards Castiel at this hunter's funeral, and this came after his preparing Cass to be burned.

6) Finally, who prepared Dean's body? Surly, it couldn’t have been Sam, even though he were the only one present when Dean died and he was the person who loved him most, because that would mean … Wincest. Gasp! Once again, if Destiel is canon because of one particular detail, so is Wincest (only Wincest has more "proof"). It certainly looks like Dean was wrapped with a lot of care, but who could have done it since no one on earth was in love with him at the time?

I guess for the preparation for cremation argument to be valid, it only counts if we see the preparation on screen? Because that is the only time it matters. So, Castiel's death and preparation for burial mattered more than John's, or Dean's? That seems really unlikely.

Finally: Let’s take a look at the scene in context.

Dean is upset, no one is arguing against that, but he’s not only upset about Castiel (despite what certain fans like to claim). Castiel, however, is the only corpse available to prepare and burn. Sam is off supporting a new-born Jack while he pays his respects to his mother's body, something Dean certainly wasn’t going to get involved in when he hates Jack at this point. So, while Sam is supporting his new angel (a clueless child in the new world) because someone has to, Dean is saying a last private goodbye to his angel, a fallen ally. There is a clear parallel here, as well as a sunrise-sunset thing going on here, and unless Jack is in love with his mother, it’s more about saying goodbye to family than to a lover. Also, this is Dean, he needs to take action rather than sit around and watch, especially when he’s upset, so him wrapping up Cass makes sense, but it’s in no way is inherently romantic.

But, those arguing that the scene set up in this way just to show Dean is in love with Cass, or that he loves him more than anyone, ask yourselves what Dean would do if it was Sam who died. Would he be sharing preparation duties with Castiel? But, then, we don’t have to wonder. The answer is No. He didn’t even want Bobby around when Sam died. When Sam died, Dean was so distraught that he couldn’t even prepare Sam's body, but sat with his corpse, mourning him for days (2x22). Then when the guilt and grief got too much, he went and sold his soul to bring his baby brother back. He didn’t even do the same for either of his parents, Castiel, Bobby or anyone else. Or, Dean literally Romeo-Ed himself on the spot when he thought Sam died in Season 11, and it doesn’t get a lot more "romantic coded" than Romeo and Juliet. So, even if someone had to read the scene with Dean wrapping Castiel as romantic (you really really don’t), it still wouldn’t mean destiel is canon because there always has and always will only be one great love is Dean's life. And it’s not Cass. With Sam and Dean (canon Gencest or fanon Wincest), there is no room for anyone else.

“Look, I just…I need your help for this case,”

Dean, Cas, and Sam look at Claire.

“Care to explain further?” Dean prompts.

“So the local college has a neighborhood nearby. I learned of four people who have lost their parents suddenly. The details are weird and I don’t know what it is. But I know that it goes after parents of college students who live at home,”

“So you need Cas,”

“I will help, of course,” Cas stands.

“I need more than Castiel. This thing…it’s going after gay couples. So I need two dads,”

“Why not use two moms? Donna and Jody—”

“Jody can’t leave Alex,” Claire interrupts. “Plus, I don’t think I could pass as their daughter, not with my personality. There’s a better fit.”

Dean rolls his eyes.

“I thought you’d be best for this, but Sam can—”

“I'll do it. I’m more your dad than Sam. Sam is like your weird uncle,”

“Whatever. Are you in?”

“Yeah, fine,” Dean agrees, heart pounding in his rib cage. “What is my cover job?”

“Homemaker, stay-at-home dad,”

“Seriously?”

“We’ll use a house with a nice kitchen,”

“Alright, but you eat what I cook.”

She rolls her eyes. “Castiel, you’ll be a sales provider for AM radio, since that’s what my dad did…you know…before he became a vessel for a cosmic entity.”

“Okay, if that’s what you think is best.”

“Great,” Claire puts her bag on the table and pulls out a few things. “Here,”

“Dean Novak?” Dean looks at the ID she made for him. “Why are you—”

“If I’m taking stupid college classes, I want real credit for them, okay?” She slides Castiel one as well. “Plus it’ll be easier for you two to use your actual names,”

“But Cas is Jimmy Novak, technically,”

“Nope. Castiel is a nickname that stuck because of you. You met on a Thursday, but he was so nervous he forgot to give you his name; you jokingly called him Castiel. He asked you out on a Thursday, he proposed on a Thursday, and you were married on a Thursday.” Claire places down a marriage license and wedding rings.

“Right, Castiel is the angel of Thursday,” Dean snorts. “Should we be concerned that you forged us a marriage license already?”

“I didn’t forge it. It’s legally filed.”

“Claire! You can’t just legally marry two people!”

“Why? Is it going to affect the taxes you don’t pay?” She smirks. “Besides, I didn’t. I was going to, but someone already filed it.”

“What? Who would do that?” Dean can’t understand who would legally marry them.

“Uh…” Sam clears his throat. “Charlie and I may have gotten a little drunk when you had the mark. We were desperate to figure out a way to get it off of you. She was saying that maybe the mark was unholy so maybe we could get rid of it with holy matrimony…I didn’t think she actually did it.”

Hi! I hope you’re having a good day/night/morning!

So, I I need to share my thoughts with someone before I burst, and you’re always posting your thoughts, current and past, on destiel, so I’m hoping you can sympathize. Of course, you’re free not to read or post if you don’t feel like it (and I know you don’t need my permission for that either 🤦‍♀️ ).

So, I’m currently watching a reactor watch Supernatural who ships destiel. I’ve almost quit a few times due to annoyance, but they are otherwise entertaining and generally try (or tried) not to bring it up too often, and it’s now on season 15, so I’m locked in until the end. They just watched the episode "Last Call" where Dean is suddenly a good singer. Of course, they mentioned "bi lighting" and "subtext" because of course Dean can’t hang out with a male friend, especially one John caught him drinking with and got "mad" without it being because he was caught doing something "gay." 🙄 Not just because it was, you know, stupid to get drunk on a hunt. Plus being hungover for a hunt isn’t exactly ideal, even if Dean was old enough (he might have been). .

Anyway, this person actually used the words "I’m winning" in reference to the episode because Jensen (not Dean) sang, Sam was hanging back with Eileen, and Dean was chilling under the "bi lighting, " apparently. All I could think was, I’ve been literally watching this destiel shipper turn into a heller before my eyes over the months. And of course, they ship Sam and Eileen and were so happy that Dean went off to give them time alone 🙄 . It’s like heller brains only have one accepted scenario, and once they get in too deep, they become a clone of the rest.

Naturally, they want the show to end with Dean and Cass off on a beach (never mind that Dean mentioned wating Sam in that scenario) and mostly out of hunting, but not to get away from Sam, no. He’s there, too. Somewhere. Teaching the new hunters with Eileen or … something. It’s so ridiculous that they think this will/should happen. 1) When has the show ever hinted at a conventionally happy, or even happy at all, ending? 2) Dean would sooner gnaw off his own arm than semi-retire with Castiel on a beach while Sam continues in the hunting world without him. 3) Dean hasn’t wanted a romantic relationship since Lisa. 4) People who think Sam would want to continue hunting, on his own, if Dean stopped or semi-retired haven’t been paying attention to the show. I even saw one of their idiot followers saying Sam was alway better at adapting to hunting while Dean has always wanted out. 👀.

Anyway, I got ready to write a reply arguing against their idiotic ideas, but then I stopped and realized there was no point. There is literally no point trying to talk sense into people who spend so much time looking for hints and parallels pointing to the things they want (less codependent brothers and destiel) that they ignore the very literal and easy to follow canon, or actual text, of the show. It was a breakthrough fir me. There. Is. No. Point.

So, I deleted my planned response and just thought to myself, "You just enjoy your 'winning" honey, while you can." Because they are going to absolutely HATE the end of the show, and I’m just petty enough to be looking forward to seeing it. Does that make me a shitty person?

I realize it’s my own fault I’m annoyed right now, but I can’t just quit watching something once I’ve gotten this far, so I’ll have to suffer through (not looking forward to Despair 🙄) until the end.

Anyway, If you took the time to read this, thank you. I just needed to share this with someone.

“Have you ever heard of the Greek myths?” Empty Zachariah questions. At his blank-stared confusion, it adds, “Orpheus and Eurydice to be exact.” ~~~ Cas is taken by the Empty. Dean is going to get him back.

It takes three weeks of Castiel being dead for Dean to find him. Three weeks of fighting, searching, and begging any being or creature he could find for some kind of answer. He had come up empty handed.

In the end, all it takes is falling asleep.

“Hello, hello, hello,” says Meg, blinking into existence. It isn’t the real Meg, though, because Dean went to sleep and woke up under a pure black backdrop, alone. He always kinda wondered what the Empty was like, having been through Hell. It wasn’t that damn impressive.

“Where’s Cas?” Dean asks, bluntly. He doesn’t really care about the hows or whys of the situation. They don’t matter.

“So impatient, Dean Winchester,” The Empty Meg drawls out, circling him, “It’s been a while.”

His sense of space is all out of wack here, so the second it steps out of his view it's like a goddamn black hole. It is far too early to lose focus. He tries to follow the sound of its voice.

“Where. Is. Cas.”

“In due time, Dean. For now, I have a question,” Empty Meg grins, peeking back around to meet his gaze. They aren’t what he remembers of Meg’s eyes. Instead what he meets is pitch black and swirling, the kind of darkness he’s afraid of drowning in, “Where are you?”

Dean takes a step back, “I’m not playing your goddamn games.”

The Empty takes a step forward, almost floating as it walks, “If you had to guess? Pretty please?”

“I’m in the friggin’ Empty,” Dean spits. Empty Meg grins at him, hands clasping together.

“Correct you are. Good job, you get a treat! Now, do you notice anything about this place?” Empty Meg lazily gestures around. He can’t help his eyes following the movement, Empty Meg is the only solid thing to focus on. He shifts his position with discomfort.

“Pretty hard to notice anything around here, it’s empty,”  Dean says as Empty Meg goes behind his back once more. He really doesn’t have the time for this bullshit. He turns his whole body to follow it, but the Empty is too quick.

“Except for you, that is.”

Chasing the noise only leads him to face himself. The Empty version of himself, at least. Empty Him wrinkles its nose with a mocking grin, “hard to be Empty when you people are always knocking around. You in particular. You’re human, you were never meant to be here at all.”

“You brought me here, that ain’t my fault,” Dean says, low and warning. He knows the kind of trouble multiple Deans can stir up, even if they aren’t both real. Empty Him rolls its eyes.

“You know what is your fault?” The Empty steps towards him, voice turned venomous, lip curling into a sneer. It knocks its fist against its forehead for emphasis, “You and your little God pounding at my door day in and day out, always crying out for Cas.”

Jack hadn’t said a word to him or Sam since he became God. He assumed- They both assumed that he was taking a lesson from Chuck’s hands-off approach. It isn’t like they hadn’t had problems before, either. He can’t blame the kid for stepping back, even if they’re  family. Turns out, he had been trying quite a bit.

Sam had been sad when Cas died, but it wasn’t the way Dean had been sad. He didn’t quite get why Dean couldn’t so much as look at a trench coat, or his stupid truck, or anything else that reminded him of Cas without trying to put a hole through the wall. Cas had been dead before and Sam… Well, Sam started to get over it. At least Jack understood. ‘Course he did, that was his dad. 

“Give him back then. Sounds easy enough.”

The Empty laughs in his face.

“Slow down, Dean, I’m getting there,” Empty Him grins. In the span of a blink, the Empty switches its shape from his own to the long-dead Zachariah, “I’m here to make a deal with you.”

“What kind of deal?” Dean demands, completely unable to hide his interest. Hope, stupid hope, is only quieted by knowing better. It’s all too good to be true and the Empty still has a lot of power. Even then, what lengths wouldn’t he go to to have Cas back?

“The point is, I’m letting you walk out of here, Castiel in tow, with two simple, simple conditions. Think you can do that for me?” Empty Zachariah looked at him as if it was talking to a child, cruel sharpness still lingering in his eyes. 

He didn’t want it to, but hope still hung around his heart. It was a hand, reaching out for what he wanted. Too good to be true.

“Depends, what’s the catch?” Dean narrows his eyes, trying to stay aware of his nonexistent surroundings. If this is a trap, he isn’t gonna fall for it.

“Well, if you were smarter I’m afraid you would already know,” Zachariah says, patting his head mockingly, “I’m going to provide a path out of here, and you are going to lead Castiel out. However, rule number one: you cannot look at the angel until you have gotten out successfully. Rule number two is that no matter how it goes out there, you and that little overpowered nephilim agree not to bother me ever again.”

The story starts to sound a little familiar. Dean steps out of Zachariah’s reach, “So, what? I can’t look at Cas or you’re going to come drag his ass back into the quicksand or something?”

Empty Zachariah smiles, “Or something. No matter how it goes, you agree to leave me alone for all eternity. I’m very tired, Dean.”

“If you’re so friggin tired, why not just let us have Cas back? What’s with all the friggin pageantry?”

Empty Zachariah hums while pretending to think, “Consider it a punishment for annoying me. Besides, I would never cave that easily. Usually I would demand a trade, be grateful I didn’t.”

The mention of a trade with the Empty still stings in Dean’s chest. He’ll be back soon.

“Do you agree, then?” The Empty asks, holding its hand out, “Do we have a deal?”

It had been over the moment a deal was even mentioned. He knew his answer. If he was being honest, he would know what his answer is even if the Empty had demanded a trade. It was too, too easy.

“Fine,” he says, taking its hand, “whatever it takes.”

“Good,” the Empty grins, and disappears.

here's a destiel brainworm i have if you're just listening to rants lol. i have a longstanding headcannon that dean and cas get married in season 12 (probably after cas kills billie but before kelly) and here is my reasoning. a) cas dies in childbirth (jack's birth) which is much more poignant as a plotline post wedding. b) the divorce arc isn't a divorce if they weren't married. c) the reason cas didn't get much screentime is because if he did during this period, he and dean would be kissing.

your opinions are valid and correct. after the events of lily sunder and stuck in the middle with you, dean is feeling raw and so he takes himself and cas to the courthouse one day and they get married under assumed names (i'd like to imagine that dean is "dean smith" and cas is "steve novak"). and of course they hide their wedding rings because they cost dean like TWELVE DOLLARS and they don't want them to get hurt

and i firmly agree that if dean and cas were allowed to be together on screen as much as we want, they would be kissing. all the time. that's why the writers had to play the "spin the wheel of excuses" as to where cas was all the time. if they let that angel be within forty miles of dean, their lips would find each other.

I've gotten at least one tattoo a year ever year since I turned 20, so starting in 2014. I took all of these pictures just now so the ones that look old it's because they are old lol.

IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER

Interrobang!? Baby's first tattoo. She started meaningful but not too meaningful. It's my favorite punctuation symbol on the inside of my left wrist. It only took twenty minutes and to this day it's the least amount of money I spent on a tattoo but I think that's because I got lightheaded and they had to give me a lollipop.

Squiggly line I went with my friends to get tattoos before a fan convention in 2015 don't worry about it we're moving on

Lake House Coordinates Matching tattoos I got with my sister for my college graduation showing the coordinates for the lake house we had as kids that we since had to sell. The most visible whenever I worked as a cashier and the one I have had to explain the most.

L'amore e l'arma (Pretend there's an accent on that e I don't feel like looking for special characters.) It means "Love is the weapon" in Italian. Love is the weapon is a NeverShoutNever song lol. This was a last minute tattoo for the last minute tattoo GISH item in 2017. It doesn't really mean a lot to me but it looks sexy when I wear tank tops so like. No regerts.

Tattoo of me getting a tattoo This is everyone's favorite. This was the 2018 GISH tattoo item. Some people tried to find clever ways to get around the wording but I'm like fuck no I'm committing put my fucking face on my leg. It's one of the funniest things I've ever done, it looks fucking sick, and I'm still mad to this day that it's not in the GISH hall of fame like lOOK AT IT IT RULES

Three of Wands This is a twofer! The second tatoo of 2018, it's my Forever Unfinished because the artist doesn't tattoo anymore and it's also the one I got done in someone's living room! Everyone needs at least one tattoo from someone with a tattoo machine that's done in someone's living room. Anyway, it healed like shit and there's supposed to be watercolor in the middle so I'm always seesawing between asking someone else to finish it or just getting the whole thing covered up. It's on the inside of my right forearm so that's like prime real estate. IDK, dude, it will look like this for the forseeable future.

Cat paw print Back to basiccs - and I mean the most basic - this is my cat's paw print on my ribs. Done by the same tattoo artist in the tattoo of me getting a tattoo, which is kinda neat. Yes, it's supposed to look like that: I took my cat's paw, inked it, and put it on paper and she just did an exact recreation. I think it's cute. He's not dead or anything, I just love him.

finger rings Yes, I SOMEHOW got a tattoo before everything shut down in 2020. I had no way of knowing things would shut down - I got this bitch in January - but I was SO RELIEVED when we started quarantine that I'd gotten my 2020 tattoo so early. It was extremely lucky. Anyway, each line represents one of my siblings. On my middle finger because it looks dope and also because they're my siblings so flipping them off is a standard greeting lol.

Destiel mixtape Ayyy lmao. This is the tattoo that's gotten the most internet attention for obvious reasons. Tattooed literally the day before the first Valentine's Day after November 5th. Like we were about to have a Destiel wedding and I walked into a tattoo shop like "Can you do this?" And they were like "I can do this right now." I regret nothing. I am mentally unwell lol. Just you wait, though: this baby's gonna extend out into an entire fandom sleeve. I have more than just SUPERNATURAL brainrot and I'm not afraid to show it.

Arachne: Goddess of Spiders I had one condition for this tattoo: I wanted her to be creepy as shit. I'm so sick of tattoo artists making monsters hot. Like if you wouldn't fuck a monster that looks like this, you're weak and your bloodline will not survive. The Arachne myth was the thing that first got me into Greek Mythology in third grade so I of course had to honor her. Also, I'm gonna get an Athena tattoo on the other side of my arm so like the ~dichotomy. This is the tattoo that all my tattoo people friends say is their favorite. It's techincally interesting and the first one that really fits on my body and also it's hilarious that I'm very sunshine and rainbows but I have this creepy bitch lurking on my arm. Everyone loves the Spitties (spider titties) but it's important to note that when my sleeve is down, all that peaks out is the Spidussy.

Sword and Olive Branch Finally we're all caught up! Yes, these are techinally two tattoos but they are a set and so I'm touring them together. I got so many guessed for the meaning behind this - war and peace, Athena theming, Things Gays Like - and while those are all good and in character for me, the most boring and true reality is that these are the two main elements on my family crest. My mom is Scottish, so a claymore. And my Dad is Italian and our family for generations owned an olive grove. It's literally just narcissim lol. The olive branch goes on my Greek mythology sleeve arm for obvious reasons and the claymore is on my fandom arm because it can double for a lot of swords in a lot of fandoms. I can multitask. They're still healing as you can tell from this pic but they look sick as hell. The olive branch is my first color tattoo so that's exciting :)

More tattoos will come in time and when I get more money but twelve tattoos at 28! I'm pretty pleased with that.
