I’m blessed beyond measure to have friends that will stand in the gap for me. Many of you don’t know this yet because I hadn’t posted that my friend Jennifer passed away on Sunday. I have another client/friend who owns a cleaning company. He and I met a couple of weeks ago to brainstorm and he hired me to do some project work for him. One of the projects he wanted me to work on was helping his company become a vendor for The American Cancer Society so that he could offer FREE home cleaning to those suffering from cancer. Of course, I asked if he would clean Jen’s place and without blinking he said “Yes, of course.” They scheduled the cleaning and he was headed to her place on Saturday when I got the call that she had been rushed to the ER. I called Derek and told him and he was concerned. He checked in by text a few times that day. When I got word, she had passed of course I let Derek know bc he had asked to be kept abreast. He asked for viewing and funeral arrangements. When I got the info, I sent it to him. I told him that I wouldn’t be able to attend the viewing today because I had a class scheduled. Derek text me just a bit ago telling me how I surround myself with awesome people because he’s at Jennifer’s viewing standing in the gap for me. What an amazing friend!
