It’s @thorkibigbang bang time!!! 

I had the luck to make some art for the fic of an author that I love, and even tho I’m going trough some major art block, I did my best. 

Their fic is amazing, bitter sweet, a true journey of self discovery that somehow has got the taste of ancient quests of legend even tho you’re watching two idiot bullshitting their way trough desert with "Fifty-six dollars and fifty-nine cents” in their pockets.

It also has the sweetest interaction of Loki with an adorable little girl who is a boss (small spoiler, I know… but can you immagine? Loki talking with a little girl, MY HEART)

Loki died. Thor knows this. He watched it happen, he felt the despair when he laid his head on Loki's chest and resolved to die with him. The problem is, he didn't, and he can't shake the feeling that something is haunting him, following his every step, trying to get something from him. From the other side of the veil, it's a problem Loki's having, too. 

First and foremost, I have to thank my artists, @eepz and @andlatitude for all of their amazing work creating pieces that are simply beyond anything I could have asked for, and bring my words to life in such stunning detail. I’m absolutely blown away by their art and support and no words can convey how thankful I am.

Second, I would like to extend a thanks to the mods of @thorkibigbang​ for organizing and hosting this event!

An additional thank you to my endlessly wonderful fiancée, @andlatitude, for beta-ing this beast, providing a listening ear, and cheerleading for me when the deadlines were looming.

I’m super excited to post my @thorkibigbang fic! It was an adventure to write (very appropriate, given that it’s an adventure fic).

“I’m sorry,” Thor says, by the doorway, his blue eyes mournful.

Loki shrugs, and says, “It will heal. Will you cut my hair?”

Loki wakes up to ship alarms blaring, the air full of ash and Valkyrie saying she brought him back because she needs his help. She's captaining a small emergency vessel containing the last handful of Asgardians desperately looking for a place to call home. And she's having to do it sober.

Unfortunately for them, there is a slim chance that Thor is still alive. And if that means abandoning his people, crossing half the universe, commandeering an army and tearing a hole in space to reach him, well, there are some things you have to do.

Summary

Loki is the second child of Asgard’s imperial throne, the unwanted spare who can do no right in his father, Odin's, and sister, Hela's, eyes. Thor is Jotunheim’s fiercest defender against Aesir conquest, its army general, Laufey’s first child, crown prince…and long time object of Loki’s youthful obsession. When Loki’s rash actions throw the two realms’ delicate peace negotiations into disarray, he is forced to marry the Jotun prince, tearing control of his future—and maybe even his very bodily autonomy—out of his hands, and making a mockery of his dream of having Thor, which he is determined to escape at any cost.

While Thor…his dreams carry portents, and this time he dreamt he embraced a serpent, and that embrace brought not only peace, but something more.
