Tres Leches Cake

In Selvadora, there is no-one with quite so high culinary renown as Nonna Maria who lives near Belomisia. She spends her afternoons baking delicious treats for the locals (and her grandchildren!) to enjoy. One recipe which has been passed down for generations is her Tres Leches Cake - a light sponge cake, soaked in three kinds of sweet milk: evaporated milk, condensed milk and whole milk.

Occult Recipebook

INTRO

Occult gameplay is up there with one of my favourite ways to play. Food is a part of our Sims lives, and should also be for occults so that they can cook up their preferred foods.

This Occult Recipebook is a collection of custom recipes (food and drink) for Occult Sims in the Sims 4.

I have started off this occult culinary journey with: ✨SPELLCASTERS✨

I have plans to later create foods for each occult life state, so I will keep adding to the recipe book.

“Spellcasters” as a life state can be played in so many different ways: they can range from gnarly evil witches who practice black magic and eat bird entrails, to happy little fairies who live in cottages surrounded by woods and flowers! I have tried to include a little bit of everything in the recipes I have created. These foods are a mix of fairy, fantasy, green garden witch, apothecary, or black-magic sorcerer etc. 

They effect Spellcasters and/or human Sims in many weird and wonderful ways.

E.g. Nettle Tea which helps teenagers suffering with acne, Milk Thistle Biscuits which leave the consumer with prickly thistles in their tongue, and Eye of Newt Soup which most Sims will find disgusting but which Spellcasters will happily slurp up.

Fried Rice

When visiting Tomarang looking for a new apartment to rent, Betty and Tim wanted to get a feel for the new neighbourhood they might be moving to. Wandering down the street, they saw a woman artfully cooking in a wok over a little cookfire. She was tossing rice with an assortment of vegetables and meats, causing tantalising aromas to waft through the bustling street. Betty and Tim both bought a plate of the Fried Rice - it was delicious!

Woodland Cake 🧚🍄

This year, I wanted to go in a bit of a different direction and delve into the wondrous and magical (rather than the ghoulish and scary!). Here is a manifestation of my longing for a fairy occult to be introduced...

This cake depicts the enchanted diorama of a magical woodland scene.

However... if you look closely, you might see some real fairies flitting about this wonderful little world! Thumbalina in particular likes to sit on the head of toadstools and sew little skirts out of soft dandelion leaves.

No? Well, they are very small! (Vegetarian-Safe)

Milk and Cookies

Little Susie woke up in the middle of the night. She'd had the most awful nightmare! Rubbing her eyes, she pattered quietly down the stairs to the kitchen. To her delight, she spotted a large plate of cookies that grandma had baked earlier that day. Susie opened the fridge and poured a tall glass of milk from the milk bottle the milkman had left on their doorstep that morning. She sat down on a little wooden stool, the cookies balanced on her lap. Susie took a large, comforting bite out of one of the crunchy cookies. The memories of the nightmare were already drifting away...
