Pic 1 has a Primal marathon before the rest of season 1 starts airing on Sundays. Pic 2 has a Black Dynamite marathon. Primal also gets 10p Saturdays. Pic 3 has a Tigtone marathon and Holy Calamavote, a commercial-free concert special featuring Run the Jewels. Bumped Toonami down an hour. Eric Andre also preps itself for season 5. Pic 4 has Eric Andre season 5 premiering! A marathon, too. Dream Corp LLC season 3 also premieres, rather suddenly. The plan was to push it to 2021 to try and get the show off Hulu... but that didn't happen. Now it seems like the damn show's been written off. Sad. Expect weird timeslots for that show, season 3 has episodes of varying lengths. Pic 5 has a Halloween marathon featuring the premiere of Jack Stauber's OPAL, a compilation of spooky Smalls shorts, and 1.5 hours of other weird spooky things. Gotta love curated marathons. The Promised Neverland has a six hour marathon, taking advantage of Daylight Saving.

While Varian got Tigtone help, Varian send Anduin away to Velen to protect him, Anduin secretly knowing this

Varian sends Tigtone to Propecia to train as a warrior, hoping gaining some character will shape him up, promising to visit

When they are teenagers, the twins meet again, only Tigtone had become a adventurer and Anduin a priest

Tigtone still makes fun of him but calls him a pansy for being a pacifist

Tigtone is favored by the war hardened warriors, but Varian and Anduin can tell he still had problems

Anduin still is kind to Tigtone, even when he is a jerk

When Garrosh destroyed the divine bell and Anduin is in recovery, Tigtone in a fit of rage killed an entire horde of orcs which served Garrosh and rearranged their bodies to spell out revenge

Tigtone, determined to become better than Anduin, renounce the throne to become the greatest adventurer of all time

Anduin often send letters to his brother, telling him how much he loved him, though denying it, Tigtone keeps them

Tigtone was broken when his father died and Anduin, upon his father’s request promises to always be at Tigtone’s side and the brothers would always be brothers

Tigtone grew worse in his behavior over time

Tigtone then came for a quest with Helpy upon the request of the Alliance to protect Anduin on his journey to Propecia

Anduin then sees the darker side of Tigtone and sees that he hasn’t change as his violent fits of jealousy were shown once again, injuring Anduin in claims of accidents

Anduin finally had enough when Tigtone killed a monster that was actually helping them, Anduin truly seeing his brother as twisted

Anduin and Tigtone get into a fight, where Anduin showed his strength and knocks Tigtone out

Tigtone and Anduin then makeup when they come across a Wineyard and they drank together like the good old days

Anduin soon accepts his brother as he is and that for the sake of their relationship was to keep a safe distance and only have bonding adventures without other people for Tigtone is often triggered

That's the beauty of Tumblr, you can say shit like that and people get you. Here people have either heard of Tigtone or will quickly look up Tigtone and understand that paraphrasing 'no one goes thru the elemental kings trauma door for free' means something.

Still looking ofr someone to help me talk thru some of my ideas and help me organize them. I took three semesters of design and I think I was getting it then the brain injury happened and it was gone.

I started reading that Super Giles story where a boy turns in to a gas pump, I would swear I founf the translation here on Tumblr. The translator did a good job but it also brings in to the conversation where what ever the language is a native speaker going in ad tweaking it, localization is it?, or someone with a writer's sense would make it just a bit better.

The pacing, that's it, is a bit wanting for someone who is a good story teller to make it that much better.

Probably doing laundry today. Not going to say what I was going to say.

And the pleco suckerfish we have is weird. We'd occasionally throw a slice of cucumber or squash in, algae eaters love that, and the last one would eat from the middle out often leaving the rind. This one lays on its side and starts eating the rind spinning it like a record and leaving perfect round bites taken out of it. The middles are eaten last.

Best animated series of 2019

This list is purely subjective. Only includes series that started airing in 2019, with the exception of seasonal anime. 

Cartoon Network 

Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart

Imagine if Shadow the Hedgehog had to babysit the Carebears, and protect them from 80s Cobra Commander/Shredder/Megatron/Mum-Ra/Skeletor. Now imagine it actually being good.

Infinity Train

This is what you would probably get if you made a kid-friendly adaptation of the No End House creepypasta. A solid miniseries that surprisingly seems to share some themes with the old Silent Hill video game series. Despite being intended as a self-contained miniseries, it got a second season. Judging by the trailers, the second season seems to be focusing on new characters.

Victor and Valentino

You can oversimplify a bit by calling this show “Mexican Gravity Falls” alto the series itself has more similarities to Regular Show. Originally I wondered whether or not to include this, as the series is largely hit or miss with its quality. However the episodes that are actually good make it worth. 

Adult Swim 

Primal

A new series by Genndy Tartakovsky, which made me realize just how I miss old-school macho protagonists. Outside of amazing and brutal action scenes, the series has amazing writing, despite having no dialogue. 

Tigtone

Best described as a parody of RPG videogames and tabletop RPGs. The main protagonist can be described as the sort of character a min-maxer/munchkin/power-gamers would create.

DC Super Hero Girls

New series by Lauren Faust, based on a doll line, based of DC comics characters. Major improvement over the old web series.

Carmen Sandiego plays as a sort of origin story of the master thief.

It’s Pony

Series literally just started, as Nickelodeon uploaded the first episode onto its Youtube. Only judging based of of the first episode, but it does make me want to see more. 

The Casagrandes

If you liked The Loud House, you’ll probably like this as well. Let us be fair, this is mostly an excuse for Nickelodeon to make more Loud House episodes, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. 

Anime 

series based on Shogakukan manga Dororo adapts an old classic by Osamu Tezuka, while improving on an already good source material. Mob Psycho 100 (season 2) continues to deliver on the high standards set by the first seasons

series based on Kadokawa properties I usually don’t like Isekai anime, but The Rising of the Shield Hero puts a twist on the whole thing by instead of having everyone love the protagonist, the whole world shits on him for something that was not even his fault. Series caused allot of backlash from left-wing extremist, which however only helped to promote the series. 

series based on Shogakukan manga From the pages of Shonen Jump we are getting The Promised Neverland, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Dr. Stone, and My Hero Academia (season 4). One-Punch Man (season 2) got criticized for using cheaper animation compared to the first season, but still delivers in the writing department. No Guns Life follows a hard-boiled detective who is also a giant talking gun, and it is treated 100% seriously, and it is awesome. A really solid cyberpunk conspiracy thriller overall. 

series based on Kodansha manga Fire Force is a series by Atsushi Okubo,  the creator of Soul Eater follows a group of fire fighters in a world where an outbreak is turning people into fire monsters. A fairly standard battle shonen series, but very well executed. Vinland Saga is a gritty historical drama with excelent character writing. While we age here I will also address season 3 of The Seven Deadly Sins, where while I loved the first two seasons, I em just not feeling the third. 

series based on Akita Shoten manga If I were to oversimplify, I’d call Beastars a gritty remake of Zootopia, but that would be a disservice. It is largely a psychological and social drama that tackles social issues while also avoiding being preachy or in your face. A little tidbit of information I would also add is that the series creator Paru Itagaki,  is the daughter of Keisuke Itagaki, the creator of Baki the Grappler.

Mr. Magoo

A new adaptation of the old character that turned out surprisingly well. Gets away with jokes I would not expect them to pull in the present day political climate.

We wrapped on boards for Mao Mao last week and I walk away carrying such an immense amount of love for the show and its crew, seeing how much of themselves they’ve put into every little piece of it. The mentorship, friendship, and challenges I found there were amazing, even in only a couple short months. I can’t wait until the episodes I cleaned up on finally air (it’ll be a while)!!

I started board revisions on Tigtone since then and I’m learning a LOT. It’s challenging stuff and definitely a bucket list item to work on an Adult Swim show. Titmouse continues to surprise me in good ways: everyone I’ve encountered is helpful and kind. I feel humbled every day!

Anyway, I just hit my 1 year in LA mark a couple weeks ago so I’m feeling very sentimental. Here’s to many more <3

why are adult swim fans so obsessed with whining in the comment sections of AS videos and r/adultswim posts like ‘waah the channel isn’t as good as it use to be’ and ‘i think such and such show should get cancelled because I don’t personally find it funny’ like relax. i hate the show mr pickles (i hate it a lot) but i’m not going on every video about it whining about how it’s not as good as shows i do like.

i’d kill a man for more venture bros (i personally think it’s one of the greatest shows i’ve ever seen) too but i’m not gonna whine about other shows existing just because it got cancelled.

by all means keep fighting to get venture bros back ! i agree they should bring it back ! but you don’t need to disrespect fans and creators of other AS shows cause you’re mad about the cancellation. there are lots of good shows still. ballmastrz 9009, tigtone, the shivering truth, off the air, infomercials, the eric andre show, tuca and bertie, your pretty face is going to hell, and yes rick and morty is still fun and i enjoy it. if you don’t like those, then just find other stuff to watch or watch old shows like space ghost c2c, harvey birdman aal, athf, the brak show, etc. you can critique stuff of course but trying to take shows away from people just cause you don’t personally like it kinda sucks and has the same energy as people constantly making rant videos about teen titans go! just because kids love it but it doesn’t appeal to a lot of adults. let them enjoy it. i don’t like that show too much but i can always just watch the original teen titans and not try to take the other from people who do like it.

It’s happening. It’s finally happening. What was once a particularly pervasive and aggressive Internet meme is now a reality. HBO Max’s list of new releases for March 2021 is highlighted by none other than the mythical Snyder cut.

The entity now known as Zach Snyder’s Justice League will premiere on March 18. While it was originally planned to be a four-part miniseries, this recut version of 2017’s ill-fated Justice League will in fact be a four-hour movie. But perhaps even four hours won’t be enough for fans who have been waiting years for just such an event.

If the Snyder Cut is not to your speed, there are plenty of other (and shorter) options on HBO Max in March. The series Generation premieres March 11 and is another look at the youths of today a la Euphoria. This one, however, just happens to be cowritten by an actual youth. Persona: The Dark Truth Behind Personality Tests is an intriguing-sounding documentary about the perils of Myers-Briggs tests and it premieres on March 4.

HBO Max closes out the month of March with another major blockbuster. Godzilla v. Kong will bow on March 31 and will hopefully deliver a fare share of monster mashing.

Here are the top 20 premieres for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim from January 1 to January 31.

Steven Universe, unsurprisingly, did really well for 2019 ratings standards. Almost broke a million. People seem to love movie premieres, too.

Toonami has been doing a bit better since they shrunk back down to 11:00pm. People still seem to tune in for Dragon Ball Super and nothing else, since every time there’s a bit of a slump in ratings when they air literally anything else right afterward. Oh well.

Tigtone is doing well, too. Same for Soft Focus with Jena Friedman, which probably means that Friday nights are gonna do just fine for Adult Swim premieres.

Of the three Monday night premieres this past week, Teen Titans Go! was the highest.
