#i was thinking abt how funny it would be if there was a shiftythrifting blog equivalent in lmk. and half the stuff on there is #submitted by wukong. so i thought a yard sale ep would be funny lol #basically the hoard becomes problem one way or another and wukong figures the best way to get rid of his junk is thru ebay #somehow ends up selling world ending artifacts to random megapolis citizens so mk mei and redson have to scramble to find em #purposely meant to mirror the weekly shenanigans s1-2 style eps that are really goofy (dumpling ep noodles ep etc)#but it gets darker and darker because MK is not fucking ok after that whole thing with the scroll and some unchecked identity crisis #for me id want him to kind of. freak tf out because they have to find MULTIPLE chaos inducing items that could end the world while trying t #be sillygoofy and funny about it. so hes trying to mask his panic with “ohhh guys its just like the good ol days ^_^ remember that ^_^”#ESPECIALLY after that whole thing with the ink scroll. also mei doesnt buy any of it and is worried for him the whole time #as for the B plot it could be monkey king also trying to be very relaxed abt selling 4000 years worth of stuff and tang getting all huffy #like “these are priceless artifacts that could help us learn so much about the past!! wtf man!!!”#and maybe it reveals smth like wukong not wanting to hold on anymore bc his past weighs him down. and theyre all reminders #i think azure mentioned that wukong is sentimental (idk if that was genuine or lying to mk) so that could be touched on to #so basically. the theme would be some sort of conversation abt nostalgia. i think. im not a writer so its very fuzzy in my head #if anyone wants to add on or include their own spin on it feel free. also included undercut redson as a treat somewhere in there #myart #lego monkie kid #monkie kid #lmk red son #lmk mei #lmk MK #lmk xiaotian #lmk xiaojiao #lmk sun wukong #lmk swk #doodles #lmk tang #lmk pigsy #lmk traffic light trio #yard sale ep

got a good grade in work today (sold $1300 worth of swimwear in a single transaction and the regional manager told my store manager to tell me she’s impressed)

#to be fair this was not so much my sales skills and moreso that this lady was just stupid wealthy and not picky #like she tried one bikini top on and then was content with just getting me to grab her the same size in everything she pointed at #despite me letting her know things might fit differently depending on the style #but still felt very good to send through the little super sale email after my my first few closes were all on days we made close to zero #which is not my fault at all it’s just because no customers are coming in at this time of year to buy eggs benny swimwear #plus the store location is just in a bit of a dead spot #anyways feeling v lucky to have nailed a super sale four weeks into being employed #especially on account of the way i’m a nepo hire with no retail sales experience and a four year gap in my resume #personal

trying to focus on the good of having a job, but not only am i getting less hours and pay (by about $5/hr) than my previous job, the manager here really seems to want us to push sales and take any creativity out of this creativity based job

she was telling me how if someone brings in a jersey or complex order to frame, we should add a $36/hr fee for additional labor, saying how "we should be compensated for our work" ... only to then tell me (upon asking clarification) the only one being compensated was the company, and neither her nor i see any of that money lol

#i had known about this charge before and had asked a prior boss about it. but we were never told we needed to add it #but the way she was saying 'we' MULTIPLE TIMES had me curious on if maybe things have changed. but like... ofc not lol #she was telling me earlier how shes perfected a lot of what she says over her 20+ stay at the company to better improve sales #so im left to believe she uses “we (the company)” for that reason. and it just felt.. gross lol. why frame it like that girl #im mostly just bummed because not only does she focus on sales like this. but her approach to framing is assembly line style.. so #i dont even really get to do framing here. and i ALREADY didnt really get to do framing here anyway lol #diary

#prince's talk tag #ren dont look #this took so long to go through and sort aaaaaaa my back hurts lolol #man i bought A LOT #i gotta wait for tomorrow for my presentation book to come in so i can put the posters in them #the stickers i can put in my sticker book #as for the charms and buttons i can put some up but not all i dont have a lot of room oops #anyway!! no con makes me wanna spend so much money quite like anyc #ive been to a few different cons in my time but this one takes the cake the artists and vendors are perfection #there was a rally for b/aldurs g/ate where you visited participating booths and either rolled a 20 with a d20 #or bought 10 bucks worth of stuff from each booth to collect stamps #then youd bring it to the last booth to get a prize which was some prints and sticker sheet which you can see on the top row in the 2nd pic #as well as a sticker sheet in the top left of the same pic #and since this game is my current obsession and by extension the vampire in the game i had no problem getting the stamps by spending money #i bought so much of my boy and this wasnt even all they had of him but it was a good chunk #i also bought a bunch of ge/nshin stuff specifically d/iluc bc hes my fave when i was playing a lot and there was an artist who had so much #of him available for sale and he looked so good in their style so i had to #the pic with the flamingo fidget toy i got from the p/r/s/k meetup!! the host gave out little goodie bags as thanks for coming #she was dressed as h/onami which is why the card has her on it #the pic with the cookbook was by an artist ive seen a few times and would buy recipe prints from (the back of the prints has the recipe)#so when i saw they had a cookbook now i had to get it!! its so cute!!#I also bought a bunch of dice bc i love dice and i was with two people who play a lot of d/n/d and enabled me lolol #i havent played in a while but they invited to play sometime and i do wanna join!! so why not #hard to take good pics of the dice tho i get what the sales person at e/verythingd/ice was saying #speaking of: shoutout to that sales person for hustling to get us to spend so much. they are good at what they do. im not even mad #they werent mean or anything but they had a job to do and did it well #the stone dice on the black box was from a different company but i saw those dice and knew i had to get them. they called to me #havent had dice do that since i bought a set at a card shop in italy #the p/ersona tote i got from a booth that had a persona themed pc and you had to take a pic of the display and tweet it to get the bag #we tried saturday but they ran out fast so we had to run to the booth sunday to get it

#I might delete this later but I'm feeling a bit disheartened and want to just put this out there into the world but not super publicly #But like #The worst part of being overweight in my opinion is that it's so so hard to feel cute or pretty or even decent looking #I'm going to Japan with my older brother next week and I've been curating a cutesy Lolita-esque style outfit for the trip and I finally #got the last of the pieces so I tried it all on. And it's just... no matter how hard I try I can't really see myself as cute in it #I don't know maybe pink isn't my color and this just isn't my style. But.#I tried really hard to make an outfit I'd feel cute in and it's devastating to not really see myself as cute #And it's not really that I think I look bad per se it's just...#I don't know #Not what I wanted it to be I guess #And I know that if I posted pictures people would say ''wow you look great!!!'' because people always say that kind of thing #But I'd always think they were lying or were playing it up #Even if they really weren't #I just wanted to feel cutesy and everything and it hurts somewhere deep inside to not feel that way #I'll still wear the outfit in Japan since I spent enough time and money on this outfit but it really dampens my enthusiasm #And this wasn't the first time I've tried on the dress obviously. I've been trying it on periodically all along #But I kept hoping that once it was done and I had the makeup all on maybe I'd finally be able to see myself as cute #But no #I still don't. Not really.#It doesn't help that the dress itself doesn't even fit properly #I got it on sale which is what sparked this whole idea in the first place and it was always a size too small #It never zipped properly but I was able to work around that with an outer corset that held it closed #And a lace shrug that helped hide the weird bunching in the back #I can sometimes get the dress zipped now since I've lost a little weight #But it's a struggle and I can only do it about half the time and it feels like I'm going to break the zipper each time #I'd think to buy a new dress but a) that would cost even more money and I've already spent way more than I had wanted in my endeavor #to feel cute in this dress. And b) all of the accessories are tailored to this dress specifically #It would be hard to find a good replacement and there is no guarantee that would even help #So I just... I don't know #It's just hard.
