On the topic of digimon. Quite frankly it's embarrassing that digimon savers isn't more popular if only for the fact of how fucking funny it is that the main character needs to personally punch whatever digimon they're fighting to be able to evolve his partner. Every time. And no one in the entire show ever tells him that maybe he should figure out how to evolve his partner without personally punching the enemy himself. Literally no other character has this kind of prerequisite its just that Masaru is built different

Funniest part of my first ISAT playthrough had to be the beginning of Act 2. I was trying my best not to skip through dialogue because even though Loop said it was okay, I didn't really believe them. I was fully invested, prepared to level everyone up a whole bunch to be able to defeat the King. When I got to the first star save point on the first floor, I thought, "Nah, it's fine; I'll be playing for a while longer anyways." I went into the room with all the items in it, and the game fully crashed.

So, I boot it back up, and I'm at the Change God statue and Siffrin's back to being very confused about dying and starting again. And I went through all the motions again in a weird state where, by pure happenstance (and most likely the crappy connection in the room I was living in), I had an accidental bonus loop that Siffrin was fully unaware of.
