I know she personally hunts him down for training in CW'03, but. I want this aging queen of a man to look at an angsty wet cat teenage assassin and go I Can Fix Her.
Former Jedi Current Rich Guy Dooku going pspspsps to the screaming girl in KISS makeup that's trying to lop his head off.
He just wants to acquire a daughter. A villainous, murderous daughter who won't get Weird about it like poor Komari did.

The concept of Riz dying decades or in some cases Centuries before his friends is too sad for me, anyways Riz isekai/regression au.
So Riz, at the end of his life, I assume a decorated private investigator, maybe in and out of many agencies until he like unearthed corruption in them and got kicked out, you know just general Riz stuff.
I think he would honestly get Jacked, but in like a wiry way, I think by the time he was old his combat sense and powers of deduction would be Insane even if his body cannot keep up with his mind anymore.
And then I assume he’d die peacefully in bed OR in a dramatic and horrifying conspiracy, possibly on a sinking boat or a waterfall, that all his friends would have to investigate in his honour.
So Riz dead, gone, finally at peace.
Or at least he Thinks, BEEP BEEP annoying sound of alarm clock waking him up for his first day of school.
Chronomancy is most likely to blame.
So general premise is Riz instantly goes from an awkward teen scrambling to solve his babysitter’s disappearance, with no resources or social skills, twitchy and underfed to a calm and seasoned detective. I think that morning when Sklonda goes to see where he is, he’s made her breakfast, bacon and pancakes. And as she sits down in shock at the table, he quietly slides a file over to her which is every active case she’s working on, methodically solved with notes and clearly explained timelines to the culprit. And if she turns it over to the back, there’s also a resignation letter in there and an application to law school ready to be filled out. And when Sklonda looks up at Riz shaken, he just gives her a kiss on the forehead and a smile like he’s seeing someone he hasn’t seen for many years and then calmly goes to class.
I also want:
-Dealing with bullies that first day like Ragh and Fabian like he’s greeting loved ones. Darting out of their attempts to grab him with a dancer’s flourish that he could have only learnt from a high elf...
-I think Fabian would be a Big Part of his plans (because the most fun part of regression time travel stories is when they start Amassing wealth) so I think he honestly just goes straight to his house, tells Bill Seacaster that him and his son are best friends (which Fabian would SCREAM at if he got humiliated by this goblin earlier that day) and then challenges Bill to a shooting contest and thrashes him, which makes Bill keel over with laughter, offer him a place on his crew, offers him his son’s hand (Fabian is hitting critical levels of red anger embarrassed face at this point)
-Other fun ways to gather wealth, Riz just robs Kalvaxus. Just remembers every little detail about the accounts from his files, goes to the bank, gives all the current passwords, transfers the Entire dragonhoard to his own account
-And yes the plot would all be decimating Goldenhoard that first year, so Riz just saves every girl before they’re captured, the maidens that have already been taken, hunts them down. I think he goes to the gas station that Johnny Spells and his friend’s occupy, locks the door and walks right into this den of bikers, just full Kingsman fight sequence decimates them. Because I think he would feel So good getting a body back that hasn’t been rung with years of stress and Kristen Shenanigans that he is in like peak condition
-First Day finds the rogue teacher which is why he has so much time for running around preparing everyone’s future
-I think, honestly, he shoots Coach Daybreak in the head on sight and gets sent to the principal’s office and Aguefort’s like “are you doing a chronomancy?” and he says yea and Aguefort’s like sweet, carry on
I think he finds Jawbone taking terrible paying bouncer jobs, and just offers him a bodyguard/assistant job so he has a little buddy to investigate with.
Starts a full out war with Helio followers because they had way too much reach in town, and when they try to debate with him he has Way more knowledge about their scripture than they do and some truly dangerous deity blackmail locked and loaded and Helio himself comes down and says haha leave this kid alone he just implied he can reincarnate a God, let’s go, let’s go.
Finds some insane legal loophole that absolutely strips Adaine and Aelwyn’s parents of influence and gives their children power over all their assets. Weirdly becomes very close friends with Aelwyn, maybe it’s because they both have the same taste in liquor now.
I think he’d start an information guild that involves like Zayn Darkshadow, Fig in her many disguises, Aelwyn and surprisingly Kipperlilly. Also Kalina! And he knows exactly how to summon her and keeps saying things to her that are friendly yet intimidating and it freaks her out.
Walks up to gorgug, hands him a study plan pathway to MCAT and walks off leaving gorgug very confused (and probably asking if he was his dad)
Just fun time travel future knowledge shenanigans! And I cannot restate again, we saw how quick a Junior Year Riz is at investigating and making leaps to the right answer. By the time he is at the end of his life, I feel like he’s reached moriarty levels of detective prowess. The many new enemies he keeps making keep coming to him and he just strips them down with his powers of deduction. He’s looking at how one person favours their left side, or the crumbs on their wrist and knows everything there is to know about them.
So just Freshman Year, the perfect run, Riz with a lot of angst in a very satisfying detective story getting closure for a lot of things.

Let's imagine that, for a few moments, RO has traveled back in time.
RO sees a child MC sitting on the shore and looking at the horizon. If the RO asks the MC why they are so sad, they will reply, "I'm waiting for my mom to come for me."
What would they say to that?
This hurt me a little 😢 I joke. I'm cold and heartless.
Irus: He'd offer to help them look for their mother because he can't stand the sight of a sad MC.
Elora: She'd tell the MC that they could come and live in Vinia (knowing that the MC's other family is there).
Oren: He's half-sobbing and half-dragging the MC back home with him to get some proper food (no more fish) and the support of a loving family.
Anu: She'd tell the MC that there's no point in sitting around being sad and it would be better if they learnt how to fight so they won't need to rely on their mother for protection/love/insert means of parental support here.

"Time & the Trickster" a Loki/Doctor Who crossover
Tumblr media
Chapter 14: Sylvie's Choice
It's your stubbornness against Sylvie's to determine who will fix the timelines and sit on the golden throne. Who's will is stronger? A single, difficult choice will decide everyone's fate.
CHAPTER WARNING (18+): Reader is in peril, violence
Previous Chapter · Next Chapter MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Sylvie gave an incredulous look, as if to say “you’re kidding, right?”
Loki looked at you and The Doctor, who were taking up exaggerated, almost heroic positions upon bursting in. Hey, it wasn’t easy to avoid getting caught up in the adventure with The Doctor next to you. Even in this most precarious moment, he brought out the thrill of it. His energy was infectious.
You looked pretty hot. Loki took note.
Smiling, you laughed. “You didn’t expect me to be so pissed off, did you?”
Your adversary blinked. “I never expected anything less.”
“Good. So you know better. Now drop your stone before I drop your ass!”
“I’ve made my stand!” barked Sylvie.
“Now, let’s not get ahead of ourselves,” said The Doctor. He and Loki moved together to get in between the two of you, Loki facing you and The Doctor turning to Sylvie. “We can figure this out, Sylvie, but we don’t need this to become violent!”
“How so? You all want me to give up an entire lifetime of running, hiding, and fighting,” she bemoaned. “After all this time…trying to prove myself…”
She lowered the hand that held her dagger, dropping it at her feet. She wasn’t surrendering, you could see she was beginning to run through her life as it began flashing before her eyes.
“...you never saw me as anything but the bad girl,” she said with genuine woe. You were not moved, but of course Loki was, to your dismay.
“We’re all misunderstood. It’s one of the things that binds us together as Lokis,” he said, both Loki and The Doctor moving around so he could address her while The Doctor began whispering to you.
“I will open the basin, but don't look inside. I can’t promise your brain won’t melt,” he instructed, the gross visual making you cringe. “You need to either find an opening for Loki to toss his, or trick Sylvie into throwing hers.”
“I won’t go,” Sylvie said again. “No. I owe nothing to any of you.”
The TARDIS shook. You yelped in surprise. Yes, you fucking do! you thought.
“Sylvie, a true Loki adapts! You’ve done some astounding things with what you were given, but when a Loki is beaten, if there is nothing else to be done…they think. They strategize! They don’t run at the fire with flying fists. When there is nothing more to be done, a Loki accepts the Fates’ answer.”
His speech melted your heart. You knew this version of him was never imprisoned in his father’s dungeons or fought the Dark Elves, and the only reason Loki needed to escape with Thor from Sakaar was due to a stupid hitchhiking mistake they’d made many eons ago as youths. Yet both times, Loki had proven himself a full Prince and a full warrior. Sylvie would have turned over Jane Foster. She would have never helped Thor escape. It was unfair that it was this difficult to ensure his happy ending. If reality were fair and equal, Sylvie would already be ensnared in the Tree of Life. Perhaps there was a timeline where it was so.
“Then do it yourself!” Sylvie replied. “Accept your fate!”
“We’re both Loki! It belongs to both of us!”
You made sure Sylvie’s shitty stone was in your fingers, ready to press into her hand. The Doctor motioned to you silently that he was going to make a break for the basin. You nodded. He quickly turned around and began working his charismatic magic over the Asgardians.
“Well, us Lokis need to stick together right? And from where I stand, we’re all about to get crushed under the weight of a collapsing timeline down here, so let’s move things along, shall we?”
He bolted over to the vortex basin, shoving his fingers under the crack and yanking with all of his strength. You ran over to help him when it looked like he wasn’t able to do so on his own, but once he grounded his feet, it wasn’t so difficult to open the time vortex.
The room was instantly flooded with bright yellow light coming from the beacon in the middle.
“Loki, move!” You demanded, darting under his arm and throwing yourself at Sylvie. Loki made an attempt to hold you back, but you slipped right through him, lunging at her and knocking her to the floor.
The two of you wrestled on the ground, neither of you having any sort of form. As a result, you were two people fighting, just trying to pin the other one down. Sylvie kept flailing, her arms and hands moving too quickly for you to have access to her skin to press against the stone.
You felt a painful blow just under your ribs as Sylvie got in a good kick, which sent you rolling across the floor several feet, near the foot of the vortex basin. The Doctor stepped back to keep out of your way. Scrambling to your feet, you and Sylvie ran at each other again, but the pain in your side was sharp, and you realized that her hit was going to make it more difficult for you to overpower her.
“Loki! Help me!” you cried.
You heard a laugh. It was actually Loki from behind you. He held the brighter stone in the handkerchief, posed to use it as a slingshot. “Did you all forget for a moment that I had one too? We do tend to complicate things a bit, don’t we?”
Sylvie’s face fell as Loki fired. The beaming green stone made a clear arc over your heads. Sylvie, who was somewhat petite compared to even you, tried to reach for it, missing widely. It moved in slow motion; your eyes traced it by the comet-tail-like streak it left as it fell behind Sylvie and into the vortex.
The TARDIS lurched, then took a big, healthy deep breath. The Doctor grinned joyously, his ship fully alive again. “She’s starting to move toward the DVD!”
“TVA!” shouted Loki.
“Remember: do not look into the time vortex! I have to get to the console! I’ll be back once I make sure we’re locked onto the coordinates!” The Doctor fled the room at top-speed, which for his tall, limber frame was quite fast.
Sylvie, beaten and realizing that she had very few cards left in her hand, attacked you.
“STOP! Sylvie, NO!” Loki implored as she attempted to hurl herself onto your back. You’d adjusted your center of balance, and the sudden added weight toppled you both, you landing on top of her. In the moment, your animalistic defenses took over. You no longer could identify who she was or what she was hoping to accomplish, You needed to survive. You needed to keep her at bay long enough for you to reach your destination.
The dagger wasn’t on her person, so Sylvie relied on her strength to attempt to subdue you. Your pent-up rage was your biggest weapon, and it gave you the adrenaline to keep going. You threw yourself off of Sylvie, kicking her stomach with your toe. It had only some effect. She was harder than you thought.
On your feet, Sylvie got up and lunged for your throat without missing a beat. You moved out of the way so that she missed your neck, but she latched onto your arm instead, pulling you toward the bright, open basin. It was all you could do to avoid looking inside.
The momentum Sylvie brought with her charge threw you back against the basin rim. Loki was finally able to find an opening in an attempt to get between the two of you, but just as he dove forward, the most violent lurch yet happened.
You were suddenly aware of the sensation of tumbling as both you and your attacker tumbled over the side of the rim. Your heart nearly exploded in an immediate surge of adrenaline, which thankfully gave you the quick reflexes to grab onto the side. Sylvie had also managed to grapple the rail with both hands.
The ship wouldn’t stop shaking. There was no way Loki could pull you both back before one of you fell. You knew what had to happen.
You looked resentfully at Sylvie. You mumbled in a voice that only you could hear, “I so would have loved to mount your head over my mantle, Sylvie. Fuck you. Fuck you forever.”
Finally making peace, you lifted your head, beginning to feel your palms grease over with nervous sweat. It was time to say goodbye. You were surprised at how resigned you felt. It was, after all, for Loki’s sake. Who better to die for?
Loki leaned over the basin, looking back and forth between you and Sylvie to avoid looking directly into the vortex. The quandary was not lost on him. He looked almost ready to die himself at the impossible choice before him.
“SAVE HER!” you shouted. “WITHOUT HER YOU’LL NEVER BE FREE!”
Nothing mattered to you anymore. You were willing to die in her place if it meant saving Loki. You only hoped she didn’t bullshit you all. Only Sylvie would manage to make YOUR sacrifice worthless.
“It’s okay, Loki,” you said, the tears being pulled from your eyes into the chasm under you. “I mean it. Let me go.”
Just then, the TARDIS lurched again, and the gravity within the room shifted enough that yours and Sylvie’s grips were both ripped away from the rim at the same time, leaving you both hovering for a final, terminal moment as Loki made his choice.
He threw the upper half of his body over the side just in time to snatch your hands back, keeping you from falling away. Using every desperate ounce of his superior strength, he hoisted you back over to relative safety as Sylvie went into freefall.
She made no sounds, no gasps, no cries of revenge. Her eyes didn’t even widen in surprise. As Loki cradled you in his arms while you wept, Sylvie’s face fell only slightly. She looked almost dignified and resigned as she was sucked out into the time vortex, gone from sight before anything could be done to fetch her.
The TARDIS’ shivers and quakes stopped, and it began careening as it normally would on any given adventure. The Doctor had made his way back to the console and was steering the ship successfully, putting it into autopilot so that it would continue to follow the time stone back to the TVA.
The basin slammed shut as the time machine stabilized. Once you realized what had happened, you pulled yourself out of Loki’s arms, hysterical. “WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT FOR?” you shrieked, slapping him hard across his cheek.
He brought a hand up to the reddening skin on his face. You punched him twice in each shoulder. “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE YOU FUCKING IDIOT?!”
He gripped your shoulders so tightly you could move, only look into his eyes for his answer. “Without you I’ll never be free.”
Your jaw dropped. He tapped the tarot pendant still around your neck after all these weeks. “I could have had a free man’s life with her…but I can only have hope with you, my star.”
You grunted, not having any of it. Loki allowed you to continue hitting him as you let out all of your rage. Sylvie had died, and yet she had somehow still won. Without her around to absorb your blows, there was only one who could.
“I hate you! I hate you!” you screamed, continuing to lose yourself to grief as Loki sat before you, graciously accepting every blow. “I fucking hate you! You’re so stupid, Loki!”
The Doctor pranced back into the chamber, unaware of anything that had happened since Loki cast the stone into the vortex.
“We should be there in about ten minutes! Everything seems to be moving now--”
He stopped suddenly, understanding what had just transpired the moment he saw Loki rocking you back and forth as your sobs were reaching a zenith. It was all your doomed love could do to offer his arms for you to bury your face in. He turned his head toward The Doctor, silently telling him everything.
The Time Lord’s face fell as his hearts broke. You could hear him speak the words that you knew he only said when all chances of a happy ending were lost:
“Oh Loki….I am sorry. I am so, so sorry.”

A time travel story where PIDW Mu Qingfang is the one to go back.
He had lost his entire sect, all of his martial siblings, and it was all he could do to keep his own life and of his closest disciples by being a doctor to the Emperor’s court. And even then, I would imagine that over the years, one by one, he would lose his disciples too- from death, or from them just getting out of there. I imagine that in the end, he would be alone.
And then he wakes up!! In the past!!! As either a disciple, or maybe as a peak lord, post canon? Either way, he has a chance to fix things and stop what happened!
Except he has no idea what happened. He doesn’t know SQQ’s backstory, he doesn’t know LBH’s backstory (before coming to the sect, and even then, I would imagine it’s in broad strokes), he doesn’t know anything! What he does know is that something more is going on with SQQ, so he doesn’t want to just kill him. Also, killing SQQ would send YQY into a spiral, and he also doesn’t want that.
It’s 20 chapters of Mu Qingfang fumbling around, trying to fix something, and end up, idk, becoming everyone’s best friend? He does stop the sect from being burned down, thankfully.
Also, Airplane!SQH is there instead of the one that MQF would have known, so I’m sure that just throws a giant wrench into things. And then I would imagine that SY would show up somewhere, not as SQQ, and MQF would wonder where this kid has been the whole time.

I love time travel fanfics so much, like when one of the boys goes in their past body. I could totally see Dean waking up in his past body. He is completely confuse at first but when he realise what is happening, he takes a look at Sam and see a short boy with messy brown hair and innocent eyes free from any pain, he hasn’t saw them like that for years…
Dean gets SO nostalgic for the innocent, curious, moody kid his little brother used to be, he would want to protect him at all cost becoming even more overprotective than his past self and past!Sam would be like: wtf is wrong with you ???

October 1983, to be exact: a time before Will went missing, before Barb was killed, before Nancy broke up with him…before he even presented as an alpha. At first he’s thrilled at this new chance to change the future, but soon he realizes that it’s a lot tougher than he expected. Altering the past comes with unexpected consequences, and soon Steve finds himself holding on for dear life as things get more and more out of control. In the middle of all of this, one question keeps nagging at his brain: why is Eddie Munson acting so weird?

You’re a time traveller in seventeenth century England, and today you decide to swing by the local playhouse. The play they’re showing today isn’t Shakespeare, but that’s still cool, you might be watching some play that was lost to history.
And it’s good, it’s something about two alchemists and their quest to find the philosopher’s stone. But as the play goes on, you get this little. Thing in your brain that you don’t think about until the intermission.
And it’s while you’re at Ye Olde concession stand that you realize that the play you’ve been watching has been, beat for beat, the plot of Fullmetal Alchemist.
And you’re standing in the theatre with your mouth full of Ye Olde Poppéd Grains, because. What the fuck what does that mean. Is it a coincidence? Did Hiromu Arakawa base her manga off this forgotten seventeenth century English play? Is the playwright another time traveller preemptively ripping off Fullmetal Alchemist a full four centuries before it’ll ever be written? How the fuck do you respond to this

My favorite Kingdom Hearts fact is that one of the biggest plot-holes that Nomura has never been able to meaningfully retcon or write his way out, a plot-hole so big that it fundamentally breaks the very rules the series is written on...
Is the existence of Steamboat Willie
Tumblr media
Let me explain for the uninitiated:
In Kingdom Hearts 2, there’s a small detour in the story involving Maleficent trying to invade Disney Castle, the home of King Mickey. She can’t step foot in the castle due to an artefact of pure light that wards off darkness locked in the basement.
Pete, who is working for Maleficent, opens a door into the past (Before Disney Castle, this land was known as Timeless River) and decides to remove the artifact from it’s place in time so it won’t be there to stop them from getting in.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy chase Pete into the past thanks to another magic door provided by Merlin, and through some shenanigans involving old cartoons and teaming up with Pete’s past-self, they lock the door the villains are using, and return the artefact to it’s proper place so it can exist in the present.
You with me so far? Pretty straightforward-ish time-travel plot right?
Here’s where it goes off the rails.
Time travel would go on to become a staple of Kingdom Hearts going forward and would come with a very strict set of rules over how it operates:
1. You can only travel to a point in time where a version of yourself exists
2. You basically give up your body to do so, and travel as a disembodied soul unless you have a vessel to inhabit
3. You can’t alter the past in a meaningful way, what’s going to happen will happen
4. You lose your memories of said trip once you return, but your actions could leave a lingering instinct on your other self that could influence their decisions
“Wait” you may be thinking “Why should anyone go through all those hoops? Wasn’t time travel super simple that first time?”
And you’d be totally right, because the existence of Timeless River completely renders all of these rules and restrictions meaningless.
There is no version of Sora that existed in Timeless River before he step foot there, everyone kept their bodies, the trio and Pete were able to mess with the timeline as freely as they pleased, and they all very much remember their trip.
Nomura has never been able to meaningfully explain this super simple, easy way of time travel and the more convoluted method co-existing other than a cheap-throwaway line from one of the villains saying that Merlin “broke the rules”
Tumblr media
The hilarious part about this line is that it implies that PETE of all characters is actually more powerful than the actual villain of the series, because Pete opened a door into Timeless River through sheer willpower and nostalgia for “the good old days”
But the all-knowing chess-master of a villain who had an evil plan several decades in the making with countless moving parts and contingencies to account for had to use the roundabout, more complicated method of time travel where a lot could go wrong.
Pete though? Dude just casually broke all the rules of time travel because he felt like it. He's just built different.
Tumblr media
TL;DR: Steamboat Willie breaks Kingdom Hearts lore in half, Pete is more powerful than Master Xehanort, and I fucking love this beautiful trainwreck of a series you guys it means so much to me
I love Kingdom hearts so much.

Do it for the Plot
~
I like the idea of Tim and Danny meeting and just clocking each other as little shits TM.
Just causing chaos to everyone in a way that can't really be traced back to them like 'Who? Me? I was busy doing all of these other things I have no idea how I would do that?'
Danny helps Tim get revenge on the bats for all the shit he's had to put up with and being absolute trolls about the whole thing *chefs kiss*
~
Tim&Danny dragging Ra's body
Damian: "Wha-?"
T&D: "No one will ever believe you"
Danny makes them go invisible
~
Bats: "Where ya going Tim?"
Tim holding back a cackle:" Oh, it's my anniversary so it's date night!"
Bats: "Anniversary?! We didn't know you were getting serious with someone?"
Tim: "Serious? He's my husband of course I'm serious about him"
Bats: "Wait hold on-!"
Tim: "Gotta go! Can't be late I have to make sure the babysitter has everything they'll need."
Bats: "BABYSITTER!?"
Tim: "Bye bye~!"
(They planned all of it including their 'fake marriage', Danny went back in time with the help of CW who is a troll at heart, and made the legal changes including Dan and Dani as their kids (their de-aged) otherwise someone (Oracle) would have eventually realized that the license is fake. So they went back in time and made it legitimately real)
~
Danny being Ghost King means that Tim is now also royalty
Tim walking up to John Constantine:" I have your entire soul"
and then just turning around and leaving
John very much felt the very strong Death Energy claiming Tim: "I don't want to be sober right now"
~
Earth about to be taken over for the 5th time that year by higher beings
Tim walking up late with coffee in his hand: "Leave or I'll call my husband"
Higher Beings very much not wanting to mess with the High King of the Infinite Realms: ᕕ( ᐕ )ᕗ
~
The Phantom family relaxing with cucumbers on their eyes and face masks: "Did you hear something?"

Love a self-inflicted time loop. The main character isn’t trapped.  They can stop whenever they want.  But how can they when things aren’t perfect yet?  They can do better than this.  They need to try again.  They can get it right this time.  They just need to try again.  They can stop anytime they want.  Just one more time.  They can fix this. They just need to try again.  There are still things to fix.  They just need to try again.
