summary : you’re just a stranger at donna’s art show, yet you’re the prettiest piece there. (loosely based off titans 1x08).

"stunning, isn't it?" the attractive stranger asked in which you turned to face him.

"absolutely, though no more than you." you commented before you could second-guess it, knowing you would never have said that had you not had one and a half cups of wine. it wasn't enough to get you drunk though enough to keep you tipsy. a slight smirk crept on his face, fitting with the rest of his features.

"i'm dick, dick grayson."

"nice meeting you, dick. my name's y/n."

"just y/n?" he asked, seeing as he gave you his last name. "just y/n." he gave a tight-lipped half smile in response to you in which you only responded "gotta work for it" with a small shrug.

he raised his brows silently agreeing to your challenge.

"alright then, y/n," he said exaggerating your name just slightly "which works your favourite?". looking around the room, your eye landed on the piece in the middle of the room, a bird's wing against a beautiful background all in sepia. "that one" you told him, pointing at the photograph. he chuckled slightly, making you wonder what he found amusing about it. "you got a thing for birds?" he asked.

"maybe just a little, they're such beautiful creatures, don't you think?" you asked, the admiration you had for the animal showing clearly in your tone. "i've got a complicated history with them" he answered, thinking about something slightly different.

you heard the tapping of glass, where donna was getting everyone's attention. everyone began to gather around where she was standing in which you and dick walked the short distance together.

a short while had passed, and a slight buzzing in your purse indicated a notification in which you had given the remaining half of your cup to dick whispering an excuse to him and walking off. you had stationed yourself outside the bathrooms and began rummaging through your purse for your phone, whilst unbeknownst to you dick had finished your remaining wine and set it down on the table of bacon-wrapped dates and began walking to where you were.

"a bit rude, don't you think?" he said teasingly which made you jump seeing as you weren't expecting any company. you abruptly turned around which you immediately regretted underestimating how close he was to you. you were noticeably shorter than him, leaving you to look up at him. this proximity had you nervous, only being able to analyse his features while he did yours.

"you gonna do something or just keep staring?" he asked with a clear tone of amusement in his voice. a bit shocked at his words, you looked away from his intimidating gaze before he had pulled you into a kiss, pressing his lips to yours. he kissed passionately and extremely skilfully.

he somehow managed to manoeuvre the both of you into the bathroom as you were now pressed against the other side of the bathroom door. he lifted you up onto his leg, his knee stimulating you slightly whilst another hand locked the door behind you. his left hand was now holding your waist, rocking you back and forth on his thigh whilst his right hand snaked up to your throat.
