Hello there! This is Winifred Monet, a 21 year old girl who is living in Windbrook with her mom and two cats, Honey & Thistle. Everyone around the small town would agree she's a master baker, while others might describe her as being socially awkward or an old soul. When she's not covered head to toe in flour, she can usually be found volunteering at the community garden center, tutoring underprivileged youth, or attending bible study on Sundays.

A Few Notes Under The Cut!

I'm not giving up on my decades challenge! I just wanted to create a new save that I actually play the game with instead of always doing pose heavy scenes (especially with how chaotic work has been). But since I'm seriously in love with these pixels, I took Winifred & Lawrence and made it into an alternate universe type deal.

So, without further ado, here are a few notes

i will be utilizing poses but try to mostly use actual gameplay for this challenge bc even though it was meant to be cc free / no mods, i am delulu and turned it into a whole story so here we are 🫡

🍄Meet Elowen Brady, the founder of my The Joy of Life Legacy!✨

I've got a lil backstory for her so if you're interested it'll be under the cut !

Elowen was created by the extremely wealthy Brady family, specifically their father, a mad scientist. He was trying to create a seemingly regular human but...something went a little wrong. Elowen was created to be a maid of sorts, and she was just that for a long time. She wasn't allowed to leave the house because of her...appearance, but became very close with the Bradys' youngest daughter, Sophia. After a while of the same old thing, Elowen became antsy, she wanted more out of life than just being the Brady family maid.

She wasn't permitted in the kitchens because they didn't exactly trust a "monster" near their food supply. But that didn't stop her, she quickly acquired an interest in food, desserts to be exact. She would sneak over to the kitchens to watch the bakers at work and realized she had a dream: get out of this family and start a life of her own, find her soulmate, start a family, and run her own bakery. There were just a few problems: 1. She had no money...but the family did. After all they'd put her through, gave her a life but forbid her from living it, she thought it was fair to take a bit of spending money with her. 2. She wasn't hard to spot. She did most of the work around the house and if she suddenly left, they would surely find out. However, with the help of Sophia, they were able to devise a plan to get her out. This is where Elowen's story starts! She took enough money to afford a house and is finally starting a life of her own.

Brie's finally aging up to her adulthood!

She invited everyone to celebrate with her and arranged a dinner party on her apartment - her parents flew all the way from San S, her friends and also neighbors - all came together to celebrate with her.

Of course, she prepped everything from appetizers, to main course and her own birthday cake.

Harper Woods, a somewhat talented baker and hopeless romantic, you would never realize she never had a stable household being raised in the foster system having numerous foster families. She never actually opened up about her childhood to anyone, and usually just kept to herself holding onto the one thing her birth parents left for her after they had unfortunately died— cookbook her mother used to write down all her recipes in, and planned to sell all of the delicious treats she had in there. She never got to follow her dream, but it is Harper’s dream to do it for her.

Harper loved the idea of having a Wizards of Waverly Place like bakery. The bakery would be downstairs and her and her family would live above it. The idea of living her dream made her teenage years somewhat bareable, but as she grew up the hope of her finding someone to share it with faded and she stopped believing that she would have a family of her own.

The moment she aged out of the system she used what little money she had to rent a smallish apartment, got a shitty job and saved up more money to get a house in Henford-On-Bagley, well it’s probably a insult to call it a house… more like the walls of a house, but hey if Harper likes it thats all that matters. Harper sees the potential in it.

Aspiration: Any. Optional choice: Market Magnate.

Traits: Foodie, roll/pick the rest. Buy the Marketable reward trait.

Skills: Baking.

Sell your baked goods! Whether that be through "bake sales" in your front yard (a mod for a bake sale event here) or creating your very own bakery! You can buy a bakery building, sell from home (mod), it's up to you!

Optional: Reach level 10 in the Baker career (mod).

Blind dates are your best friend this generation (RPO mod or Simda)! You MUST have a child with someone you go on a blind date with (accidental pregnancy or perhaps your sim got lucky in the romance department!). You can marry said sim if you wish, but it is not required that you get married.

Bake something holiday-themed for each major holiday! I recommend littlebowbub's Grannies cookbook or Oni's Food Mod for more options.

Throw the best parties for your child(ren), full of yummy cakes and treats!

Do you think Bernie's job is only 9-5? No way! Once our girl finished the corporate drag, she got home and set up her make-shift stall in front of her garage. The locals soon came flocking at the smell of her delicious pumpkin pancakes, and Bernie was quick to get a selfie with her first official customer!
