How far along does an AU or iteration have to be per say? Like... etablished fanbase? Certain amount of text/comic pages/concept art/lore posts? Also what is like... the difference between an AU and iteration exactly like is there a concrete line? Also how do we answer like the 2nd question in the submission form when the story/ocs is not exactly defined as coming from a specific version of tmnt (2003/rottmnt/etc.)?

1. Having a solid idea for what the au is helps, like having some form of it posted on a blog somewhere.

2. Universe is a deviation of a certain canon, like how for ROTTMNT, LFLS deviates from the story and it becomes an “alternate universe.” Iterations build off of the established TMNT characters and stories and create designs and other types of stories, such as Colorcoded (if I remember it correctly, that’s what it’s called.)

3. Just put down original iteration!
