can i be honest for a sec. the worst thing about taskmaster — not that there is much to complain about! — is that they edit out stuff like this. like, not THIS, idc about greg weeing or whatever. (some of ya'll freaks do and that's fine!) but seeing everyone in conversation is SO NICE. so much of the time these past...idk...10 seasons or so, the way every episode is edited is like each contestant is just sitting there waiting for their turn to talk to greg. maybe we get an interjection or two from someone else (this season we have my girl fatiha<3) but even then you can sometimes tell how conversation has been edited out and around. i know we need to maintain some order in the show and also not show greg as TOO much of an on-the-same-level/friend figure, but SHOW US THE INTERACTIONS! THE ARGUMENTS! THE TANGENTS! viewers will have no idea that, for example, stevie actually talks a lot if they don't watch the outtakes because of how she comes across in the final edit, which is quite mild and one of the quieter contestants. that drives me crazy!!! and it's why the first many series have so much replay value for me, because the whole thing is so much more of a group atmosphere. no shade to the editors because i know it's a tight 40 minute show but it frustrates me when it feels like we have to choose between the structure of the show (task–points–task–points–task–) and everyone getting to express themselves in the studio together, not just during the tasks alone with alex
