Oooo, that would be really fun, though it's different than my personal headcanon I like it a lot!

The way I view Miles's accent is a little complicated, honestly, just in the process of how it happened. I headcanon that, after he was taken to Germany, he had half a year to start learning German, then was put in strict immersion and wasn't allowed to speak English for the next two years, though he was still allowed to read and watch media in that language to make sure his comprehension didn't slip.

After this, he did have a German accent when he started speaking English again, with a touch of lingering Los Tokyono accent on certain words. Manfred deemed this 'sloppy' and got Miles an elocution tutor, one with a lightly upper-crust English accent, to get Miles's English 'up to snuff' again.

As a result, by the time we reach the present day, Miles is equally fluent in English and German, and speaks English with an accent that leans towards upper-crust English with traces of German, and, very occasionally, Los Tokyono for certain words.

And thus another piece of Gregory's legacy is erased, to be replaced with something Manfred has created. And yes, this was very much Manfred's intention when he did all this.

(Like I said, it's a complicated headcanon! ^_^U)

I do think that Miles tends to swear in German instead of English, and that if he gets stressed enough he'll switch languages, just because he spent so long in Germany that he's extremely used to speaking that language over English. Also, as I headcanon that the von Karmas are Bavarian, I also headcanon that both Miles and Franziska are fluent in the Bavarian dialect as well as High German, and will purposefully switch over to it when they want to have an especially private conversation, as even other Germans tend to find the Bavarian dialect particularly impenetrable.
