The portrait of the prince, taken and edited by @thistlesandstories (as well as the other pictures of me)
I had a great time at the local convention. I’m happy to announce that me and @thistlesandstories won the cosplay contest as the absolute winner, we earned awesome rewards and most importantly we really had fun and I am very grateful to @the-symphony-of-lydia-brown for helping us coming up with the presentation ideas an turned it into an entertaining spectacle.
This is our team. We are proud of ourselves
Both of the costumes are original designs made by us. We used multiple artworks and historical clothing references. I wrote more on it here

"The deathless love of Lúthien, too fair for love of mortal Men; and in his doom was Lúthien snared, the deathless in his dying shared..."
Have another photo of my Lúthien cosplay, as a late celebration for the return of the Lay of Leithian Rock Opera! I loved the photos I took with @moodrose at Katsucon last year, the venue is so pretty! I just got back from MAGFest, same venue, and I prefer the vibes more than Katsu, but I still felt so powerful and graceful wearing Lúthien last year! I hope to upgrade her dress in the future to give me a bit more freedom of movement.
The weekend is over and I literally spent 3 days working on my Galadriel cosplay 😵💫
I accumulated 20 hours of work so far, and I'm not done, believe me !!!
I'm working on this project with my sister @kuroe-kitsune-sama . We are both invited by a convention as guests. We will have our own stand, will participate in Cosplay conferences on stage, and organise Cosplay shows ✨️
The deadline is soon (next month), and we have to hurry 😵💫
Which is why I haven't drawn much lately. But don't worry, I have plenty of ideas and I'm far from done with my Tolkien's drawings/OCs ✨️
Anyways, I will let you with some of my Cosplays. ('Cause I'm showing you my sewing WIPs, but I haven't actually shown you my finished Cosplays 😅)
My almost finished Maedhros cosplay based on my very own design. Photo and edit by @thistlesandstories
The costume contains handsewn shirt (I used Lyocell instead of linen because it looks more elvish), cotton hand quilted vest with customised metal buckles, waist belt including the embossed Oath of Fëanor and wide belt adorned with Fëanorian stars made from polymer clay. The sword is a prototype made from EVA foam, but I want to make a less wrinkly one.
The bracers, the scabbard and the belt are all my own leatherwork. Details for nitpickers:
“As soon as Sauron set the One Ring upon his finger [the Elves] were aware of him; and they knew him, and perceived that he would be master of them, and all that they wrought.”
Sauron returns to Eregion to take what is rightfully his.
Hope you enjoy this photo of my Annatar cosplay in the gorgeous Katsucon gazebo! Thank you to falindis for the photo ❤️
