[Haikyuu] YakuNoyaWeek2024 Day 3: In the calmness of the night and the sea (Late drawing)

Hehehe!!! So here it is!!! 😎 More YakuNoya (t4t as always!)!!! <3

The context for this drawing is similar to the YN fanfic I'm writing. XD Noya's a knight of Karasuno and Yaku Nekoma's prince. Yaku is supposed to marry someone from a royal family, but when Noya and the Karasuno knights arrive to his castle, things change and our boys end up falling in love. They start secretly dating and have to get creative to be able to be alone.

In this case, Yaku and Noya runaway from the castle just for one night as a little date and end up swimming in the sea (and getting kissing, as you can see uwu).

I gotta confess that I drew the background 100 months ago, but I hadn't had time to properly work on the illustration until now! 🤧 But I'm super happy with how it turned out!!!!

This one is shorter, sorry for that.

Nishinoya had always been vocal.

He was loud, and blunt, and crass, but he was never quiet. Not since the day you met him at the start of middle school. Not when he joined the volleyball club, not when you announced that you’d be joining him at Karasuno, not when you came out, and especially not when anyone tried to bully you as you transitioned. Coach Ukai couldn’t let you play for the team during matches, but thanks to your best friend’s persistence he agreed to let you participate in practices.

There was nothing Noya wasn’t vocal about.

Which is why you couldn’t figure out what he wasn’t telling you.

You were both second years together now, he’s been your best friend for five years, and he told you everything.

But when you accidentally admitted your budding feelings to Kiyoko after practice one day, you didn’t expect him to start avoiding talking to you a few days later. You hadn’t thought he heard you, too busy roughhousing with Tanaka and Hinata, but suddenly it was like you were getting the very strange cold shoulder.

It wasn’t abrupt or constant.

It was like he would just… forget that he was avoiding you.

One point he’s ranting and raving about something he thinks is the coolest thing he’s ever seen, but when you go to say something to him ten minutes later he’s like a deer in the headlights before he’s running away.

Which led to one conclusion, right?

The thing he wasn’t telling had to have been a rejection. He must’ve heard you talking to Kiyoko and couldn’t figure out how to keep your friendship intact when he finally told you he didn’t feel the same way.

But it felt like it was only a matter of time before it fell apart anyway.

So you started skipping practices. Dodging past his teammates in the halls between classes. Rain checking hangouts. You weren’t going to pressure him, didn’t want to make him feel like he had to accept you. You knew how he felt about Kiyoko, he didn’t want a guy . He didn’t want you.

He was still your best friend though.

And as easily as you could notice the even minor changes in his actions, he could read the changes in yours.

So maybe you shouldn’t have been surprised when the persistent knocking at your front door revealed him standing on the other side, looking panicked and disheveled and outright distraught.

“I don’t like this!” He announced immediately, charging past you and into your own home before you could really even open the door far enough for a normal person to fit through. “How have I gone from seeing you all the time every day to an hour a few days apart?”

You shrugged, arms wrapping around your torso like you need to protect yourself. God, you never used to feel that way around him. “I mean talking to Kiyoko-“

“She spilled the beans.” If you weren’t losing yourself in your own head, you would’ve realized he wasn’t confirming what you thought.

He was coming to his own realization.

“Guess so.” You nodded, “And it’s okay. We’re friends and I don’t expect you to force more and-“

“Wait, what?” The way his face twisted in confusion reminded you of studying together and he wasn’t quite grasping the material you were going over.

And your brow furrowed in response, “She told you, right?”

“I thought she told you.”

“What do you think she told me?” It could’ve made you laugh, how you spoke at the same time like you had so many times before, if you hadn’t been so confused.

But then you spoke at the same time again.

“That I really like you.”

“That I think I’m falling for you.”

The two of you froze, but…

Nishinoya had always been vocal. Especially about the things he wants.

“You like me!?” His eyes were shining, you could practically see the stars in them as he looked up at you, “When I saw you guys talking- and then she mentioned I should talk to you about a crush- I assumed she had told you!”

“Hold on a second-“ You waved your hands, your thoughts floating around, “So… you’ve been avoiding me… and I’ve been avoiding you…”

“But neither of us needed to.” He grinned, big and wide like he’d struck the lottery instead of realizing you were just both being stupid.

“No,” you laughed with him, “We didn’t seem to need to.”

blond boyz headcannons cuz they mean the world to me

- yamamoto smells REALLY good and everyone always asks what he uses but hes only every told the other 4

- terushima makes rubber band keychains and all of them have an absurd amount of them

- yamamoto has had a 12 year long hyperfixation on pokemon so everyone else (unwillingly) knows every little bit of information abt it

- all of their sisters treat them all like their brothers, whether theyre actually related or not

After seeing another post I felt the need to try and put my trans headcanons in a chart like this hehe!! If there’s no gender specified, they’re the gender they are in canon just trans (aka Shoyo is a boy so he’s a trans boy here).

The ‘canon’ end is for characters who I’ll do a little double-take if they’re cis in a fic because I forget not everyone headcanons them that way (Noya and Shoyo being trans boys, Kenma being nonbinary etc.) The parallel timeline is for… u know I don’t know if I can explain this properly it’s just a Vibe. Like bigender Asahi is MY canon. But it’s not to the same degree of genuine surprise when other ppl don’t write her that way lol. ‘It’d be fun’ end is headcanons that aren’t always my Canon but that I am still fond of (transmasc Tanaka, genderfluid Yachi).

Tsukkiyama get their own little box because I love them and they’re special to me. They may need a more complicated graph to express how these hcs influence each other (trans girl tsukki is more likely to be paired with cis boy tadashi, etc).

A/N: gods, I just love side characters. tbh, I’m mostly just projecting myself and my imaginations on that (but which writer didn't do that at least once) XD

tags/warnings: reader is tanaka’s brother (could also be adopted) & a dancer, set in season 2 episode 19, Miyagi Spring Qualifier Quarterfinals (at least that's what fandom wiki says, I hope that it's right)

Hey, lovebirds

It was a match from the Miyagi Spring Qualifier Quarterfinals - Aoba Johsai and Date Tech were playing - and the second set with a two-point-lead by Seijou. The third-grades of Date Tech just came running on the bleachers. 

“What’s the score?” They arrived at the rail and looked down at the still ongoing game. “Oh damn. Who won the first set?” 

“Ehm”, a voice came from behind them. It was the captain of Karasuno with his whole team. “Seijo won the first one.” 

“What, Karasuno?!”, Moniwa said, “Oh, hello. Good to see you.” They greeted each other and of course, Sasaya immediately had to restrain the former vice Kamasaki. That’s when they were noticed by other members of their school that they joined. 

The game went on with the third-grades as well as Karasuno tensely watching. After a few other points another person came running on the bleachers and immediately towards the rails to look at the score. 

Tanaka saw who it was and looked behind him to see his sister calmly stroll towards them. 

“Hey!” When you heard his voice you immediately turned around and faced him. 

“Oh, hey Ryu”, you grinned when you saw your brother sitting there with his usual attitude and rebellious grin. He informed you about the winner of the first set and then noticed the questioning looks of his teammates except for a few of them - especially Noya who had met you several times before already because of their friendship.

“Ugh, guys, this is my brother, (Y/N).” 

You chuckled, “Hi, nice to meet you. Is it so bothersome to introduce me?” The question was directed at your brother. 

“Huh, yeah, yeah, actually it is”, he answered grinning. It was usual for you two to bug each other like that. That’s also when your older sister Saeko arrived. “Oh, come on boys!” She tried to throw her arm around you to get you in her side-clasps but you were already trained and easily ducked away. 

Fortunately for you, the third-graders of Date saw and waved at you so you could scurry to them.

“Why have we never seen him at games before?”, Yamaguchi asked curiously. 

“Because he also has training most of the time.” 

“Oh, does he play volleyball too?”, Hinata spoke excitedly. You weren’t really tall, just like him, so he was really interested if you were a player as well. But Ryu and Saeko laughed a little. 

“Nah, look at his bag”, Ryu pointed at you standing next to Moniwa at the rails. It was a sports bag and shoes were hanging on the side of it. Which was noticeable is that it wasn’t only one pair but three different ones - two of which most of the boys haven’t seen anything about before. “He’s a dancer.” 

“Ahhhh”

“Ok, but why is he standing here now and talking to Date’s former captain?”

Now Tanaka began to scowl and Sakeo chuckled as she sat down. “Because Aone is his boyfriend”, the young woman answered. 

Many of their glances quickly went from you to the mentioned player and back again. “Reallyyyy?!”, Hinata was wide eyed looking down at the middle blocker before grinning, “Cooool!”

Daichi and Suga chuckled when they saw Ryu’s expression. “Why are you scowling?”, Daichi asked while still grinning. “Do you not like Aone?”, Suga continued. 

“He’s super protective of (Y/N)!” Noya saw his chance and took it. 

“Aone is.. alright, I guess”, Tanaka mumbled. The others kept on bugging him a bit but quickly turned back to the game that will decide who would be their next opponent. 

Meanwhile you were standing on the rail and watching closely while occasionally cheering your boyfriend on. He had noticed you already and you could’ve sworn that he had smiled a little bit. 

The game was really exciting and in the end Seijou won. You saw the third years’ shoulders slump down and them letting their heads hang. You sighed and let your head hang too. 

When Date’s team quickly came to stand in front of the bleachers you made eye contact with Taka giving him a comforting smile. Then you signaled him to meet you outside in the halls. You turned around to go meet him. But before you went down you shortly hugged your sister and gave your brother a light slap on the head - which he tried to return but you could duck away - to say goodbye for the day. You’d be driving back in Date Tech’s team bus and staying at Aone’s for the night. 

You went towards each other and let the others go past you both before you hugged him tightly. “You okay?”, you looked up at him with your arms still around each other and let your chin rest on his chest. The height difference between you two was kinda funny.

He gave you a little nod but he was still wearing that sad frown. 

“You were great.” This made a soft look appear in his eyes that possibly only you came to see and know what it meant. 

“Hey, lovebirds”, you heard Futakuchi shouting, “Come on, you can make out later. We’re gonna go to the bus now.” Aone’s team mates laughed. You stuck out your tongue towards them but let go of your boyfriend. 

While you went to follow the team Takanobou linked your pinkies like he often did when you walked together. 

On the bus you sat next to each other and Aone let his head rest on yours that you had placed on his shoulder. You took his hand intertwining your fingers and rested on your lap. The bus was rather quiet - exhaustion and sadness because of the lost game were the primary feelings. Your boyfriend let out another sigh. 

“Hey, Taka?”, you whispered with your eyes closed. You felt the rumble from his body as he let out a low “Mh?”.

“You’re free from training tomorrow, right?”

“Mhm.” 

“You wanna go somewhere then? I also got nothing tomorrow.”

“Mhm. Decide tomorrow?”, his voice was so low it send a wave of goosebumps over your skin. 

“Mhm.” You felt yourself doze off - your training and the excitement to make it to the game had taken a lot of energy from you too. Soon everyone except for the adults was sleeping. 

When you arrived your boyfriend shook you awake gently. 

“Hey, (Y/N)”, his voice was still hushed and even a little deeper than earlier. 

On the way to his mom’s car, who was so nice to pick you both up from school, your arm found his place around his middle while he placed his on your shoulders. 

After eating you both went upstairs to his room to get ready for bed. Aone laid down on top of his blankets and got out his phone while you still searched through his closet for one of his hoodies. You quickly changed into it after finally finding what you searched for and flopped down on top of your boyfriend. 

“Oof”, he played as if you were heavy enough to crush his brick of a body in any way. 

You chuckled and kissed his cheek. A smile that only you got to see appeared on his lips. 

His hand went to cup your cheek to pull you closer and kiss you properly. You sighed happily and let yourself fall into the kiss. 

After you parted, you snuggled close to him and placed your head in the crook of his neck. That way you fell asleep like many times before already.

Hinata: pansexual vibes honestly.

He is the type of person who thinks everyone feels that way. He thought people were attracted to people and that was it, no gay or lesbian or straight.

It wasn’t until Yachi was talking about it that he realized he was pansexual and just stayed like that and continue to live his life.

Kageyama: “I like Hinata”. Gay just doesn’t know yet.

His gay awakening was Hinata but couldn’t really explain why he felt all fuzzy inside.

He is the type of gay that picked his crush only because people around him seemed to have one.

Tsukishima thought it was the most obvious thing so when he pointed out he was genuinely surprised to see he had no idea of what he was talking about “you figure it out”.

Asahi: Unlabeled, they/he pronouns. Probably demisexual too

Baby is just vibing. Doesn’t care about labels and isn’t interested in finding out, they are just waiting for the right person to come.

Then he told Tanaka how he really felt, poor boy was in the verge of tears and tanaka was like “oh you are gay? that’s cool man”

I don’t think he is straight tbh. He is discovering his sexuality.

Is completely ok with kissing a dude and if he is being honest, he kinda likes it.

I don’t see him getting into a relationship with a guy but i do think he is sexually attracted to them. Just like a thought in the back of his head.

Has a weak spot for blonds.

Baby wants a beard sooooo bad. The testosterone shots won’t give him much facial hair and it upsets him a bit.

At first he thought he was genderfluid, but then he realized there was something wrong. He didn’t like himself.

Tsukishima went on this journey with him, gives him his shots and bought him his first binder.

He was never confused about his sexuality either, his family was really accepting and never questioned if he liked girls, he just didn’t.

Girls crush on him all the time, right? well at first he is pretty gentle about it and rejects them softly (?. But if they insist he would bluntly say “Im gay” and leave.

Kiyoko: Lesbian (fight me, honestly)

In a universe where she and Tanaka don’t end up together is because she is a lesbian.

Kiyoko was very confused about her sexuality at first. Because she heard liking girls being a girl was wrong and in high school she learned how much lesbians were hyper-sexualized.

She has learned to love herself slowly and accept that the blue prince wasn’t in her path.

Yachi: Bisexual with a preference for girls. Genderfluid.

She had a big fat crush on Yamaguchi for a while but she always comes back to Kiyoko.

“I don’t like girls what are you talking about” *sweats*

Discovered her sexuality in middle school and reaffirmed it in high school.

Their gender on the other side took a while. She liked when people referred to them as he so at first she thought he was trans. Then non-binary.

Then, as an adult she learned the term genderfluid and was like “omg that’s me”

So in the end we somehow came up with Atsumu x Aone, and Arranged Marriage Noya x Atsumu, but Noya likes Atsumu's Knight who he has regular make-out sessions with. This also has sprinkles of Trans Prince, Dysphoria, and Transphobic Parents (and a Make-out scene)

Background: So most of the background is in the Description, but I wrote this fic a little over 3 years ago and it is probably still one of the less chaotic things I've written, even with that description. I think that I had a lot of fun working with these super rare pairs and overall just getting to mess around with these characters.

Samuel Bellamy

Le capitaine Samuel Bellamy, alias "Black Sam" Bellamy (mort en 1717), était un pirate britannique actif pendant l'âge d'or de la piraterie (1690-1730). Le dernier navire de Bellamy, le Whydah, fit naufrage au large de Cape Cod lors d'une tempête, et le capitaine pirate se noya avec la quasi-totalité de son équipage. L'épave fut redécouverte en 1984 et de nombreux objets ont été récupérés depuis lors. Ils donnent un aperçu fascinant du pillage et de l'équipement d'un navire pirate du XVIIIe siècle.
