“We need more weird queer people” Y’all can’t handle 90% of the ways multigenders label their sexualities

It's so wild to me that as a community we're still so hostile to multigender and genderfluid people existing in gay and lesbian spaces.
You...are aware that people who are both men and women are allowed to be gay, right? And lesbian? Their other genders doesn't cancel their connection to womanhood, or manhood, or whatever else they id with. They are allowed to be gay despite their fem-alignment, and they are allowed to be lesbian despite their masc-alignment.
It comes from these weird online spaces that the standard to be gay or lesbian is to be a "non-woman" or a "non-man," which is inherently transmultiphobic and...extremely ahistorical. And completely misunderstands nonbinary identity. So if you're both then you just don't belong anywhere I suppose.

the "woman and nonmen" crowd makes me so upset as a bigender person. some people will see my genderqueer womanhood and cheer me on right up until they realize that the genderqueer part of my identity does in fact come from my manhood
like i cant wrap my head around how a lot of other trans people dont see anything wrong with defining nonbinary identities with binary terms

From people who are against men being lesbians, their opinions about male/female multigender lesbians seems to fall into one of two categories:
"They can be lesbians even though they're men, because being multigender means they're not REALLY men," or
"They can't be lesbians even though they're literally women attracted to women, because being multigender means they're not REALLY women."
And both are shitty! It's not enough to validate someone's male identity or their lesbian identity- unless you validate both, you're being a transphobic asshole, full stop. And there's no way to validate both aspects of a multigender male lesbian's identity if you believe men can't be lesbians.

another concept we need to blow up is the idea that womanhood and manhood are mutually exclusive experiences. i am begging y'all to consider multigender people for even one second when you talk about gender. you have no idea how alienating it is to exist as a multigender person when even queer spaces are aggressively binarist and constantly try to divide you from yourself, or reject you for resisting.
if you think "man" and "woman" are opposites which never overlap, I hate to break it to you but that's just the gender binary again. it's not a sliding scale with "boy" on one side, "girl" on the other and nonbinary in between.

people will wax poetic about “genderfuckery” n can’t even handle someone being a man and a woman at the same time.

Wish people wouldn't see genderfluid people as less of a man or less of a woman than binary men and woman. The whole "you aren't a man/woman, you're genderfluid" thing is so obnoxious. Like tell me you don't know what genderfluid is without telling ne you don't know what genderfluid is.
The same applies to others who experience being multiple genders. It's just misgendering.
Edit: To clarify, I know there are plenty genderfluid and multigender peeps who aren't men or women, my issue is with people supposedly earnestly saying you aren't something that you in fact, are.

The Similarities Between Biphobia and Transmultiphobia
I am a multigender bisexual. Before I began to focus my efforts into transgender and multigender activism, I was BIG into bisexual activism. But, because of this, I’ve noticed something peculiar… Something that other multigenders have noticed too.
A lot of modern-day transmultiphobia (particularly those directed towards those who are both male and female) is, quite simply (and I mean this in a very literal way), repackaged biphobia from the peak of biphobic discourse.
This includes, but isn’t limited to:
The “fence-sitter” perspective. Multigenders and bisexuals are seen as sitting on the fence of the binary. We can belong in both communities (gay and straight, male and female). But because of this ability to be in both, we are not allowed into either.
This is because of us being seen as “tainted by the other gender,” or as an “invader”. Both the idea that bisexuals are less “purely” WLW or MLM than their gay counterparts, and the “men vs non-men” dichotomy that we’re seeing be put up, are evidence of this. When it comes to discussion gay and lesbian M/F multigenders, this comparison is very apt. I mean, “your association with men / women has made you unable to belong with us” is VERY on the nose.
The view that it’s “just a phase.” Both existence as a bisexual and as a multigender, from my experience, is seen as something you will go through before you “choose a side”, before you “settle down” with a real, PROPER choice. One of the two choices that you’re given, rather than both.
Making people angry because of how we make them insecure. “If this person attracted to men and women can belong in the queer community,” wonders the biphobe, “What does that mean for the state of my queerness?” And likewise, the transmultiphobe asks, “If this person is both a man and a woman, then what does that mean for my attraction?”
I believe that this is because bisexuality and multigenderism both have… “Both.” In a world, with a binary, that expects — DEMANDS — that you pick either/or, saying “both” (or, heaven forbid, “both, and…”) will always be met with extreme rejection and isolation.
Multigender and bisexual activists could learn a lot from each other. We are so often told to hide or cut off one part of ourselves in order to fit into some sort of (any sort of!) set of norms, and to conform to the male/female binary. We fuck with people’s views of sexuality and gender merely by existing, and we are nothing short of revolutionary for that reason.

people will literally be like "why do multigender people need to call themselves mlm/wlw when nblm/nblw are right there 🙄 stop invading our community" literally it's so insanely exorsexist to literally say that only monogender people are allowed to be mlm/wlw, because what? multigender people aren't "really" our genders? we aren't capable of being "real" men and "real" women? because monogender people are so pure and untainted, unlike us, who can't make up our minds? explode.
