I’ve been feeling like living in the mountains lately. All alone somewhere in the lanes of Mussoorie surrounded by those long trees I don’t know the name of. Living in a small house made of wood with a small fireplace in it and flooded with books and a lot more books. I think how good would that be. Living and breathing literature in the lanes of Mussoorie. Writing stories and forgetting about them and leaving them for the world to read. How would it feel like to escape this constant chaotic life in the city and run away. Oh, I can already smell the cold breeze flowing through my window. Oh what a life it would be.

Mussoorie Day-2
We went out to see the different attractions in the area. It was road trip time!
The sky was so blue and there was not a single cloud in sight except for those covering the mountain peaks.
Tumblr media
First up was Kempty Fall. We had to take a ropeway there because the hike uphill was no joke. It was interesting how the waterfall itself was sectioned into various levels. Collected some herbarium specimen from around this area.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at him! So happy to be here!
The flow of water was so strong, we were constantly being hit with the mist.
Next, we went on a small hike to the Santura Devi Temple. The hike was really pleasant and not tiring at all. Was able to collect some more herbarium specimen from here!
Tumblr media
Next stop was the monastery near Dalai Hill. We didn't go to the Buddha Temple but we took pictures from the monastery instead.

There was another dog basking in the sun so obviously I had to take a picture.
Tumblr media
The same day we went to the Company Bagaan. Apparently it was built in 1868. It was really pretty and a few degrees colder because of all the trees there.
Tumblr media
Also there was this cool car near the nursery.
Tumblr media
That's all for today! Hope you have a good day/night!

Mussoorie views from lal tibba. It was a rather cloudy evening so we couldn't see the garhwal peaks clearly. They were barely visible from the telescope that day. But the view of the ravines and the feel of standing high up there with a cup of coffee....... Simply awesome!!! #mussoorie #uttrakhand #laltibba #landour #india #ig #traveldiaries #travel #travelphotography #nature # #ranuchakrabortyphotography https://www.instagram.com/p/Cpt6ADkoUa-/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Mussoorie Day - 3
We went to Landour!
Tumblr media
Specifically for the old English bakery there. We waited for an hour but honestly, it was so worth it. Not only for the sweets but also for the pictures I took of Leona there.
Tumblr media
The interior was really cute and because it was basically a house from ye old days, the inside was much warmer. We went in the afternoon so we couldn't appreciate the difference much, but if you visited in the evening, it would've been a much cosier atmosphere.
But enough about that, let's take a look at Leona.
Tumblr media
Here's him delighted at the madeleines and lemon tart (they were really good).
Tumblr media
Then we ordered the honey ginger lemon tea and the carrot cake. We also ordered a chocolate eclair and the Landour chocolate cake for takeout. I might sound like a broken record, but everything was genuinely SO good.
Tumblr media
Here's him on the olden armchair. We got a few glances but honestly, look at him! He's so smol in a chair so big. I love this picture.
That is all for today! Have a good day/night.
