LMAO Momorin fic requests are closed. I’m so glad you enjoyed it though~ Eventually they’re totally going to go out though. Also Shinsou always gets off the hook honestly. It’s why he keeps doing it. Katsuki’s bark is worse than his bite.

1. Not yet, but I’ve got a dragon egg that I’ve been sitting on for a while. Hopefully it hatches soon.

2. I own a time machine/I never sleep. Pick one. 

3. It was pretty nice. Not as hectic as last week. Which is a very good thing. I’m tired af still from last week. Especially working on Sunday...

5. Did you make an outline for [title]? Did you stick to it?

It’s All in the Pairing - did not have an outline, it was a bare idea that I sat down and wrote in a day. The original concept was supposed to be Bokuto and Akaashi. Until I realized it would be so much more fun to write it as Kuroo and Kenma.

Going Off-Menu - Had a set plan and was more or less outlined before I sat down to write it. The NSFW chapter 2 was just for shits and giggles.

Table for Two - No outline, no plan, just sat down and said ok those two need to be smooching now.

Stressed is Desserts Spelled Backwards - has an outline and more notes than the rest of the fics since it’s the only one that had a plan and a set guideline.

9. Which idea came to you first in [title]?

It’s All in the Pairing was the original idea. I wanted to do a restaurant au, but had no idea how to even get started. I had been watching a lot of Gilmore Girls and I remember the episode where Sookie tracked down the food critic cause the wrong wine had been served with her risotto. I had a little laugh to myself and then it clicked. The rest of the fics have all been a result of that. 

Once I had the first fic and the universe was settled everything else just happened. Every character who has been mentioned since the beginning has a place and in some cases a fully fleshed out backstory. So honestly there will be so much more of this cause I have yet to run out of ideas for it.

a concept: Victor just moved across the road from Yuuri but being the dork he is, he forgot to buy curtains. Now every time yuuri looks out the window he can see his (very attractive) new neighbour doing all sorts of dorky things. His favourite is Victor trying to sweep while singing at the top of his lungs and dancing awkwardly with the broom.

“That guy is cute.”

Yuuri, admittedly, had only been half-invested in his conversation with Phichit since he’s currently focusing on not burning their casserole. But when he hears those words, he glances up, wondering if he could possibly be talking about--

Yes.

Phichit is looking out the window.

(Presumably towards Yuuri’s new neighbor.)

“Not my type,” Phichit swiftly adds when he notices Yuuri’s reaction, “but yours. Definitely yours.”

Yuuri can’t see out the window from where he’s standing behind the kitchen counter, and he has too much pride to sprint into the living room in order to catch a glimpse of his admittedly attractive new neighbor. His admittedly attractive new neighbor who is very, very distracting in the mornings. And at night. And all times, really. And who doesn’t have curtains. Or, if he does, they’re never drawn, at least.

Phichit seems to analyze Yuuri’s every last microexpression. “He’s shirtless.”

Yuuri has pride, but not enough pride.

He walks over.

The neighbor, whom Yuuri still doesn’t know the name of, nor has Yuuri ever interacted with except for the occasional awkward wave when he’s caught staring, is currently singing. And sweeping. And dancing with the broom.

(And, yes, he is shirtless. Very shirtless. About as shirtless as he could be, actually. Yuuri hadn’t been aware of the fact that there are varying levels of shirtlessness, but he is now aware of this fact. Very aware. Keenly aware. Because the neighbor is--)

“Have you spoken to him?” Phichit asks.

Yuuri shakes his head, tearing his eyes away from the window. He has trained himself not to look after one too many awkward moments of eye contact. So instead he sets his gaze on the television, not focusing on whatever is currently happening on the screen.

“Wait, Yuuri, he’s waving.”

Yuuri spins around on his heels.

(The neighbor is definitely waving.)

(Definitely waving.)

Phichit waves back enthusiastically.

“No,” Yuuri gasps, eyes widening. “No, don’t wave back, that’s--”

The neighbor is grinning. Then, Phichit uses one hand to point a finger at Yuuri. He cocks his head to the side, as though asking a question. After that, he mimics a phone with his other hand. “Hang on, I’m asking him if he wants your number.”

Yuuri stares blankly out the window, unsure of what to do. He grabs at Phichit’s arm and stammers. “Phichit, hang on, wait, he’s, I’m--”

The neighbor nods. Grins.

Phichit gives him a thumbs up. Yuuri buries his face in his hands. “I can’t believe this is happening.”

“Okay, Yuuri, what’s your number? Read it off to me,” Phichit urges. “I’ll signal it to him.” When Yuuri doesn’t move, he nudges his shoulder. “Don’t pretend you don’t want to go out with the hot neighbor.”

Really, he can’t. Yuuri takes in a deep breath, meets the neighbor’s eyes one more time before burying his face in his hands. “Five, two...”

22. two miserable people meeting at a wedding au for erasermic (ahaha Momo rip. This is the message you sent me after reading the erasermic amnesia ficlet so I’m going to slightly change this to give the maximum fluff because i promised that I would rot your teeth in recompense)

“Shouta,” Hizashi complains.

“What?” Shouta asks, scrolling through his phone. It’s rude. It’s so rude that he would do this. Hizashi is having a crisis here and Shouta is just scrolling through his phone like everything is fine.

“Shouta,” Hizashi complains again, dropping his head onto Shouta’s shoulder. One of Shouta’s hands comes up to absentmindedly run through Hizashi’s hair and massage his scalp. Hizashi’s thought process is derailed because holy moley that is good. He hums in appreciation as Shouto’s fingers find all the pressure points on Hizashi’s head and turn his spine to mush.

After a moment of this Hizashi turns his head to the side to give Shouta access to previously inaccessible parts of his scalp. If he was a dog his back foot would be doing that thing where it jerks up and down on it’s own from the pure goodness of physical sensation.

“What is it, Hizashi?” Shouta asks, his fingers lightening up on the pressure.

“Huh?” Hizashi asks, blinking.

“You were complaining about something,” Shouta reminds him, amused.

“Oh yeah,” Hizashi says, brought back to Earth from the wonderful land of amazing boyfriend massages. “Shouta, am I a bad DJ?”

“That depends.”

“Depends on what?”

“On if you have ears.”

Hizashi whines and turns his head to the other side to poke Shouta’s neck with his nose. “Shouta, don’t joke.”

“I’m not joking,” Shouta says. “People with ears find your DJing to be particularly entertaining.”

Hizashi sighs. “Then why am I not DJing this wedding right now?”

The wedding in question is being DJed by some normal, less epic guy that Yagi hired. He claimed it was so that his friends could enjoy the day with him but Hizashi thinks it’s because Yagi secretly hates his DJ skills.

“Yagi didn’t want you to be working, he wanted you to be celebrating.”

“I can work and celebrate at the same time,” Hizashi says. “I literally do that every day.”

Shouta sighs. “If your not having fun we can go home.”

Hizashi lifts his head to look at the side of Shouta’s face. Shouta is still scrolling through his phone with the air of someone who is looking for a way to make the time go faster. 

“You’re only saying that because you want to go home,” he accuses.

“That’s irrelevant,” Shouta dismisses.

Hizashi sticks his tongue out at Shouta.

“Don’t do that,” Shouta says without looking up.

“Weird psychic nonsense,” Hizashi accuses.

Shouta doesn’t dignify that with a response. There’s a moment of silence where Hizashi looks out over the dance floor as the two-bit DJ Yagi hired starts playing a slower song and people move into slow dances.

“If you go out there and slow dance with me we can find Yagi and wish him well before going home.”

Shouta turns his phone screen off and shoves it in his pocket in one fluid motion. “Done.”

Hizashi can’t stop himself from laughing.
