For Trey, Ace, and Azul.

Trey is a old fashioned romantic at heart. His kisses are gentle, pressing against your lips softly. He’ll guide you, moving them in a calming waltz that has your knees turning into mush underneath you.

He gives you kisses regularly. It’s become a habit of his, really. Sweeping your hair up, before giving you a little forehead smooch. There’s a comforting warmth, lingering on your skin when he pulls away. Trey can’t help but grin at your expression, giving your cheek a little pat of appreciation. He’ll give them a kiss in turn, don’t fret. There’s a certain care that goes to each and everyone of his kisses. It’s evident in the way he clasps your face in his palms, ember eyes staring right into yours, love clear in his gaze.

You’re truly sweet, his favourite treat.

Thank you for the food.

Ace’s rather passionate. He’ll lock your lips with his, pressing into you wildly. You’ll have to be the first to pull away, lest you get sucked into that erratic rhythm of his. Ace’ll wait for you to catch your breath, before pulling you back into him.

What, can’t take the heat? Wow, prefect, you really are weak, aren’t you? Ace gives you kisses when you least expect it. During class, walking down the halls, or maybe when you two are wrapped up in each others arms, cuddling on the couch. Ace dips his head, trailing kisses down the nape of your neck. He’ll alternate between light, fleeting kisses, and strong, desperate kisses that has your skin burning hot.

Ace likes it when it turns red.

His colour looks the best on you, after all.

Azul has a certain shyness when he’s kissing. His lips hesitate, before they melt into yours. He’s looking into your eyes , freezing like a deer in headlights. You’re… well. You’re the one he loves, after all. You hypnotised him with your love, did you not? However, Azul’s perfectly content to fall, if you’re the one pulling at the strings.

His lips move slow, dancing with yours. Azul takes note of your reactions, adjusting to suit your pace. Although, when he gets comfortable, he’ll slowly ensnare you. You’ll never be able to think about another, not when he’s done with you. Pressing his lips into the tip of your fingers, slowly working his way into your palm, around your wrist… they’re gentle. Much like butterflies alighting on your hands, their wings brushing against your skin.

It’s a pleasant feeling, especially when your cheeks glow, warm and red.

Azul thinks it’s adorable.

Self-Aware Yuu sings La Seine and I:

A/N: So because there are a lot of songs that were requested, I don't think I'll be doing all of them mostly because the Jekyll and Hyde one was because I really liked the song. I’ll also be doing separate parts for the songs that I do.

Heartslabyul:

Most of them are too focused on Yuu’s singing to pay any close attention to the lyrics. 

Cater is once again filming Yuu, but oddly enough no clips are posted to Magicam

Trey is the most normal, not really reacting much during but complementing them after.

Ace and Deuce are trying to find out who Seine is, for research purposes obviously. 

Riddle is completely mesmerized, then he listens more closely and gets a bit sad. The only Heartslabyul guy to ask Yuu about the Seine

Savanaclaw:

Once again, not really listening to the lyrics

Leona falls asleep halfway through, but enjoyed it nonetheless

Ruggie is honestly just happy to get some time off, hearing Yuu sing is just a bonus in his eyes

Jack is pretty curious about the origin of the song, so it and others become a common conversation topic for the next few weeks 

Octavinelle:

The ones that suggested the singing in the first place

The tweels are now following Yuu around in case they go to meet anyone at a bridge

Floyd may try to sabotage the performance if he gets bored [which he thankfully doesnt]

Azul is torn between wanting to hire the prefect at the lounge full-time and wanting to keep their singing to himself [Erik style]

Scarabia:

Kalim is, once again, not fully paying attention to the lyrics. Honestly, he’s just happy that Yuu looks like they're having fun

Jamil starts paying attention when hypnotism is mentioned and doesn't ever stop paying attention. Another one that actually asks about the lyrics.

Pomefiore:

Rook is finally allowed to duet! [It was only because he knew how to pronounce Seine when reading the lyrics]

Epel is more interested in the instrumentals if he’s being honest, but he still supports Yuu from the sidelines.

Vil actually had a hand in the production of the performance, he couldn't help himself! Definitely talks to Yuu about their singing and ways to improve afterwards [is also oddly nice about it]

Ignihide:

Ortho also talks to Yuu about the song lyrics but only like, a month later.

Idia is too busy recording everything to pay attention in the moment, but he has several questions once he watches the recording back [and trust me he does. A LOT]

Diasomnia:

The entire dorm is of the few that pay attention enough to realize Seine is a place, not a person

Malleus asks about the lyrics, the origins and even where the Seine is located. He’s a little sad when he finds out it doesn't exist there. Also asks if you’ve ever thought of naming a child Seine 🤔

Sebek disregards the fact that it’s mostly about love and just jumps straight to asking if the Seine is a safe location or not.

Lillia is just laser-focused on the wine, he asks about the river too but mostly about wine.

Silver is taking a nap, please do not disturb him.

“so, prefect! tell me, which dorm would you like to move to?”

you froze up. you have to make the decision now? “w-way to put me on the spot..” you muttered under your breath, nervously looking at crowley who was expecting an answer. you like all the dorms! how are you supposed to choose just one?

“i’ll go with… heartslabyul? no, no, scarabia! wait, scratch that, i’ll move to pomefi—”

crowley put a hand in front of you, stopping you from speaking any further. “it seems to me that you’re unsure, but it’s no problem! because i’m so very kind, i will give you as much time as you need to consider.”

“thank you, i’ll be thinking things over!” you waved before exiting his office. the door closed and crowley grinned, spinning around in his chair and rubbing his hands together.

“and i will be informing all your little friends that you’re still uncertain on which dorm to move to— a headmaster must keep himself entertained somehow!”

heartslabyul

riddle is stressed, brainstorming different ways to convince you to come. he totally might just make a powerpoint presentation on why heartslabyul is the ideal dorm to be in, which is gold.

cater is just acting like he always does. he feels no need to do anything extra, isn’t he charming enough as is to bring you to heartslabyul?

ace “you and me are best friends” trappola. he absolutely exploits the fact that he’s one of the people to you, if not the closest. he bugs you about it so much though, it’s almost becoming counterproductive— not that he realizes it.

like most other times, deuce is dragged into ace’s scheme. and he totally buys that it’ll work too! they have the same logic of “we’re best friends, so they’ll choose us” and they’re gonna die on that hill. of course, until it comes out that you don’t choose them.

trey’s just caught up in the mess. he’s said “riddle, calm down”, “ace, leave them alone— you too, deuce”, and “thank god you’re so chill, cater” so many times.

savanaclaw

leona doesn’t put in a lot of effort— he’s already certain you’re gonna choose his dorm. he’s not overbearing, you’re given a lot of free rein, and though the dorm members can be pretty combative, he’ll drive ‘em away if they try to mess with you. why would you go for any of the others?

ruggie’s got nowhere near as much confidence as leona does about this, so he’s going overboard with giving you gifts, doing little acts of service for you, buttering you up with (sincere) praise, anything that might make you gravitate towards picking savanaclaw.

as per ruggie’s request, jack’s (trying to) act sweeter than he normally is, but he just can’t— it’s way too embarrassing for him. he just ends up acting like the regular old him. and spills ruggie’s plan.

octavinelle

persuasion? it’s azul’s time to shine. he’s a master at this stuff, but there’s one mistake he’s making— he’s being so damn persistent and borderline annoying about it! the number one way to drive away customers! unless you’re a fan of that kind of behavior, it’s hard to even consider moving to octavinelle.

but you think it’s hard to catch a break from azul? pfft, he’s got nothing on floyd. there’s hardly any breathing room with him, literally and figuratively. he’s squeezing you nearly every second he’s with you and it’s hard to think around him.

jade just watches from the sidelines. he’s restraining himself from laughing as he sees azul trailing after you like he’s lost or floyd glomping you to the ground. when you’re tired of their antics and manage to get away, he’ll pour you a cup of tea (on the house!), asking if you’re alright. he’s octavinelle’s only hope.

scarabia

kalim is basically like, “i don’t wanna sway your opinion, BUT—” he’ll tell you the most amazing things about living in scarabia and how cool the dorm and their members are with the biggest grin on his face. he hypes it up so much it’s sounding like the perfect place.

there’s not a lot left for jamil to do is doing since kalim’s doing pretty much all the work. just to pull you in a little closer though, he’ll give you more treats (made by him) during the day, sometimes reminding you that you could have his cooking every day if you lived at scarabia.

pomefiore

now, vil is sure you already have your sights set on pomefiore— but he’s not gonna take any chances! so he sends rook and epel to spend some time with you. or in other words, advertise their dorm. he’s expecting to see you with luggage soon, asking where their spare room is.

rook is having a field day, he’s probably having the most fun out of everyone here. he’s reciting poems he wrote just for the occasion and practically throwing flower bouquets at you, all while epel…

epel stands off to the side, awkwardly watching rook. he freezes up when told by rook to “show y/n how much you want them to choose pomefiore!” and his brain malfunctions, trying to put together a poetic sentence. all that came out was, “i’ll.. cut apple slices for you..?” not quite what rook had in mind, but it’s beautiful in it’s own way.

ignihyde

idia is extremely anxious— he wants you to pick his dorm, but has no idea how to convince you into doing it. or even how to make his dorm look like an appealing place to be. he feels like the greatness of his dorm pales in comparison to the other ones, so he kinda just hopes a miracle will happen and you’ll choose ignihyde.

diasomnia

oh, malleus is dead set on having you in diasomnia, you have no idea— he’s pulling out all the stops, pulling so many strings. wins “the most desperate” trophy by a landslide. it’s hard to tell though when he seems so nonchalant.

everyone’s trying so hard, it’s amusing, lilia thinks. it all looked like a ton of fun, so of course he was gonna hop onto the “winning you over” bandwagon! he’ll recount all the fun stories he and his dorm mates have had at diasomnia! such as studying gargoyles, and training, and the horrific yet oddly comedic injuries had during training… you question if lilia is throwing you off on purpose.

sebek’s bugging you whenever he gets the chance, boasting about his dorm. diasomnia is the best dorm all around! not only do you have the pleasure of worshipping the young lord, there’s plenty of fun things to do— don’t mind the dark, intimidating atmosphere! now, why don’t you just go and tell the headmaster your choice already?

silver honestly doesn’t know what he’s doing, he’s just goin’ with the flow. when sebek sent him after you, it was a bit awkward. he just said, “you can protect malleus with us and take naps with me :)” and called it a day. is it not enough to have you completely sold though? ♡

“these guys have been draggin’ you all around! they’re treatin’ this like war!”

You and your friends were more than curious about what the internships in your 4th year held in store for you; given that there were so many options all over the world. But there was more to worry about than just finding a place to intern at. Finding a place to live at while you were abroad was also a concern. Since Ace, Deuce and you were all interning in the Queendom of Hearts, you had decided to open a flatshare together.

Needless to say things were chaotic from the start but surprisingly manageable. Guess Riddle raised them well, you thought and chuckled. 

You were sitting on the couch with Ace, watching a new series he wanted to check out on the streaming service the three of you decided to share. He had an arm wrapped around you loosely and you were snuggled up against his chest; both of you silently enjoying the show and each other’s presence.

That got disrupted when Ace heard Deuce making a bit of noise in his room, suggesting that he had woken up from the nap he decided to take after work and was likely going to make himself some dinner. Ace reached for the lighter under the living room table and grabbed a couple of candles from the cupboard, placing them on the table and lighting them. He removed the flowers from the vase on the table and put the vase down on the floor. When Deuce opened the door of his room, his first sight was Ace holding the flower bouquet in front of you, kissing your hand gently and both of you being surrounded by candles. Quite the romantic atmosphere.

“Uhm…uh…sorry if I was interrupting something”, Deuce scratched the back of his neck awkwardly and walked into the kitchen, leaving you two alone in the living room. “May I ask what exactly that was supposed to be?”, you raised an eyebrow and Ace gave you a smirk. “I plundered his stuff in the fridge. He and Deuce will fuck up with household appliances. Like, it’s not like Ace never did chores before, there were plenty at home and at Heartslabyul, but he never used a washing machine and a dishwasher before and you facepalm the first time you see him and Deuce standing around helplessly in the kitchen with the floor flooded in water and foam because one of them thought it was a good idea to put dish soap into the dishwasher and the other one didn’t object. 

“Okay, which one of you?”, you put your hand at your hips and sigh. “Me but I had doubts and Ace said ‘this is for cleaning dishes, how bad can it get, really?’”, Deuce sighed.

Sharing your first living space with Ace is just 9 months of figuring out the magnificent ways of adulting. 

And managing money. Ace is one of those guys who never looks at the prices at the grocery store and just picks the thing that looks the most appealing. 

You always fall asleep in his arms at night, now that Riddle can’t stop you from sneaking into Ace’s room.

He’ll be there when you had a stressful day at work and the two of you figure things out together, giving each other subtle affections throughout the day before finally relaxing in each other’s arms as the sun sets.

Listen, starting out while living with Trey during your internships is literally the best option out of all of these boys. Man has his life figured out at least when it comes to having stability and adulting skills.

Take-out food is something you get rarely while living with Trey. He always stops by the grocery store or a market after work and brings fresh ingredients back home. He’d be happy if you like cooking and baking with him, because he loves to make his food himself and sees it as a bonding experience if you join him. It doesn’t matter if you’re good at cooking or not, Trey is a good teacher and he’s happy to show you.

He doesn’t say it yet because he doesn’t want to get too ahead of himself but he’s loving this lifestyle with you and he’d love for you to continue living together after graduation. 

Trey always listens to your wishes for what you would like to eat for dinner and he somehow finds a way to make it happen, even if the recipe is super difficult. “You really don’t have to, Trey”, you insist and reach for his hand. He squeezes your hand in his and presses a kiss to your forehead. “It’s not a problem…I admit this is a little harder than I thought it’d be, but if it’s going to make you smile, it’s worth every effort”, he insists and gives you a loving smile. “Just seeing you every day makes me smile more than enough”, you reply and kiss his lips softly.

Trey is super easy to move in with. He can adapt easily and communicating with him about who does what chores around the flat works super well. Trey is husband material and it definitely doesn’t take you long to realize it. Living with him is super comfortable and reassuring; knowing that whatever the day throws at you, there’s security and love in the happenings of mundane daily life.

Living with Leona has its upsides and downsides. 

You get to be picky with where the two of you move because Leona is a prince and therefore has quite a lot of cash to spare, so not being able to pay your rent isn’t something you would have to worry about. 

Leona drives you to work every morning before he goes to his own internship place at the edge of Sunrise City. The way he leans over to the passenger seat to press a kiss to your lips every morning without fail, sometimes not being able to get enough of your lips and repeatedly pulling you into another kiss could make you melt into his arms right then and there and you just wish you had 10 more minutes to spend with him. He wouldn’t admit it but he loves just getting short text messages from you during your breaks and knowing you’re thinking about him. Instantly brings a smile to his face. 

He also picks you up from the internship on the way back if you don’t have your own car. 

Leona isn’t one for cooking so you two usually get takeout food, which in Leona’s case means like, a bucket full of nothing but meat if you don’t stop him. Lovingly calls you herbivore everytime you order something with vegetables.

He knows where to get good food in Sunrise City and he never misses with his restaurant choices.

Given that you’re his lover and he actually without a doubt enjoys having you around, he has no problem showing you around the city; taking walks with you through the parks during sunset. 

Leona will likely hire someone to do the household chores as he doesn’t want to do them himself, on some days his depression would be actively preventing him from getting things done and he also would never want to burden you with doing everything for him. 

Nevertheless, being around Leona can sometimes demotivate you from taking care of your own responsibilities. He pulls you into his arms to cuddle and this can be the start of a spiral of procrastination if you’re not careful.

Leona doesn’t really care how you decorate your flat as long as nothing bothers his strong sense of smell or is in such bright colors that it hurts his eyes. He’s one of those guys who drive to the furniture store with you and just have no opinion on anything except for the bed because the quality of his naps must not be impacted. With everything else, if you left him alone, he’d just look at the shopping list, reads that you need a lamp, a small bathroom shelf and a carpet and he just grabs the first things that work, even if they don’t fit together. So you better go with him. 

“Do you think the shelf with the dark wood would fit better in the living room or should we take the white one?”, you ask and Leona just shrugs. “As long as our stuff fits on it and it doesn’t fall apart”, he leans on the shopping cart and his tail swishes back and forth idly, “we can throw a coin if ya can’t decide.”

Leona loves having you sleep in his arms at night but chances are you already did that at Night Raven College regularly, if not all the time. 

Chaos is also a form of adventure!

Seriously though, Malleus is so sweet and always eager to help and he’s so excited that he gets to live with you during his internship and explore the city you intern in with you but this man is not in any way equipped nor prepared for normal modern adult life.

First off, you get takeout food everyday because Malleus repeatedly fries the kitchen appliances with his magic on accident and you already dodged a bullet by getting a small house from his wealth as a royal because if you got a flat with him, the neighbors would be complaining so hard about the frequent power outages caused by the confused fae prince with adjustment issues.

Before you move in together, Malleus excitedly tells you that he has found a building that would be perfect for the two of you to share. He shows it to you and you raise an eyebrow. “Malleus, this is a 40 minute drive away from my internship place, why does it have to be this one specifically?”, you raise an eyebrow and he frowns because you didn’t notice. He points at the gargoyles on the roof and you bury your head in his chest. “Oh my god, Malleus, was this your only criteria?”, you sigh.

Malleus wanted to contribute to finding a place for the two of you but you can bet he’s not going to check the internet. No, he hires a real estate agent and “are there any buildings with gargoyles we can rent or buy?” was indeed one of his first questions.

Anyway the two of you have a technology room that Malleus doesn’t go into and it’s insulated with magic-blocking material. This is where you charge your phone and spend time at your laptop or keep any other electrical devices. 

Malleus takes the train to work everyday and he fucking loves public transport. You’re so fed-up with screaming kids on the bus and people listening to the Twisted Wonderland equivalent of TikToks on speaker on the train but for Malleus this is like, the most fascinating thing ever.

He also loves the mall and large grocery stores. They have so many everyday items he has never seen in Briar Valley. 

To celebrate moving in together, you told him to just pick whatever interests him at the grocery store, the first time the two of you went there. You spent 3 hours in that store and you had to explain to Malleus that some of the frozen food he picked is not supposed to stay frozen. He also buys 5 different kinds of ice cream.

He makes you a pretty ice cream cup with the one Riddle gifted him for his birthday and presents it to you proudly.

Whenever he’s in deep thought, you’ll find him sitting on the roof with the gargoyles, looking over the area. “You know…”, you sit down next to him and he instantly pulls you close to him, partly because he missed your affection but also because he wants to keep you safe and secure, “you were right. This place has a nice view.” You turn your head to him and kiss his lips gently.

Malleus is absolutely thriving with the fact that he gets to live with you and spend his days with you without his retainers present because Silver and Sebek are still at NRC. He’s so affectionate with you and makes the most of the fact that the two of you have some time to yourself without Sebek frantically looking for him.

Malleus loves to fall asleep in your arms at night. It took a bit to figure out how to make that work with his horns and him being almost 2m tall, but Malleus Draconia is a little spoon and he doesn’t care if you can only hug his upper body, he’s sleeping in his beloved’s arms and that’s that.

there's a twinge of hurry in riddle's words. it comes out quicker than he wanted and it doesn't help that his face always seems to have a mind of it's own, turning red at the most unnecessary of situations and flaming when he least wants it to.

it isn't something he's very proud of but you think it's cute.

his red face either displays blazing rage, shameful embarrassment, or both. it's probably weird that you think it's cute but hey! riddle doesn't allow himself to actively display his feelings other than disappointment or anger, remaining to be formal instead.

it's a tiny catalyst to what he's feeling. anger and embarrassment might be things one doesn't like but it's nice seeing him so expressive. or are you just crazy for thinking so?

but his face is probably one of your favorites.

be it the twitch of his eyebrow and the sharp inhale of his that signals embarrassment, the grinding of his teeth and avoidance of eye that displays embarrassment or shyness, the enlarged pupil and small smile when he's doing something he likes—

you can go on and on.

but you can't help but tease him. "your red face says otherwise." you laugh out loud, to riddle it sounds like something straight out of heaven and even he is frustrated to admit it. how could he ever do this?

"hmph. unfortunately.."

wait. doesn't that mean he just agreed with you?

"hmm,,, well.. I used to." trey answers so casually that you actually had to pause to register his words. since when did trey clover even like you? and what did you do wrong to make his apparent 'previous' feelings to wither away?

well shucks. if you had known earlier then you're absolutely sure that you'd tried harder to help him in ways more than one but for now, you have so many questions.

why did trey like you, what was special about you? you did hope that he would but that was only something that lays inside your dreams, for it to turn reality wants to make you go crazy.

and when did his feelings even go away? you can't deny that your heart cracked a little but the earlier to move on the better, right? you had.. other things to worry about than pointless crushes. you're not sure yourself if it really was pointless.

or.. you're just looking too much into it and he used it as a friendly term?

most probably sensing your inner monologue trey chuckles. "you seem distressed." he comments. unable to hide the pleased smirk on his lips, you are too embarrassed to spot it, feeling more intent to gaze at the piece of dough you knead with your fingers.

"really?"

it's still surprising to hear the next words come out more casual than the previous. "yep, I love you now."

you drop the bowl.

there's a stupefied look on cater's face. instead of the bright front he spent years putting up there's actually something in his face instead of the cheery grin, but rather an absolutely horrified one. like you just spilled all his secrets.

you raise your brows. suprised yourself to witness his reaction. "what?" did he actually like you?

cater does this thing where there's a becoming realization dawning on him that he did something totally off character, he laughs it off. "uh.. haha, I mean who told you that?" something desperate to know swims in his eyes and it fuels you even more.

he neither denied or acknowledged your words but his answer just leans on the 'he actually does like you' category.

your mouth forms into an awed 'o'. "so you do like me!" you slap a hand over your mouth and giggle loudly. not one of those giggles that would hurt your ears when you went near a radius of them cause they felt forced but a more, actual joyful one.

he looks more horrified. "WHAT? well I mean.. who wouldn't like you?"

it sounded like he was trying to convince you and himself.

"you, obviously." you roll your eyes. you don't know why but you have a feeling that he's been confused the whole period but trying to play it off.

he smiles brightly, drops it for a second and smiles again. "I mean yeah, totally! how about dinner tonight?"

wow. verryyyy smooth. if only he knows that there's probably some kind of rule about not staying up after 8.

"ew no." ace quickly denies. pushing you away for good measure, you stumble and instinctively grip on the vase for dear life. almost dragging it down with you to your own demise and by a stroke of luck, it just managed to stay there.

you shoot him an aspirated look. "you almost made me fall??" grumbling you dust yourself off, flinging away the dirt from the floor that stuck to your uniform after your lower body violently colliding with it.

—completely missing ace's grumble of his own. "you dumbass.. it's the other way around." you turn to him and cast him a weird look.

"what did you say?"

"I said it's the other way around." he says. not missing a beat. you're stunned by the sheer audacity and boldness he had cause damn. where do you get a speck of this kind of thing? and who even says what they actually said instead of going 'nothing.'??

ace apparently.

you blank. "I was just joking?"

"you think I am?"

ace smiles—not one of those arrogant smirks that makes you want to pound him to the ground because he's the reason you're in trouble. but a literal, actual smile.

there's a weirded out look on your face as you shiver. "ohhh god.. I think I just saw the face of satan. am I gonna die?"

"hey!"

honestly you don't know if you regret speaking at all because the silence was very deafening. deuce had frozen up, going so still you thought he actually got cast a curse or something.. his back is turned on you and it's as if he refuses to look at, and is going through the stages of grief at the same time.

"ah! how did you know that?! it was ace wasn't it?!" he suddenly leaps to turn to you—somehow. meanwhile you flinch at the voluntary action he just did because none of you were moving, or speaking at all for a full 2 minutes.

wow, that was easier than you thought. "wait so you actually like me?" you incredulously force out. deuce has this confused look on his face as he stares at you all while throwing a few nervous gazes around the surrounding in the middle of it.

"what do you mean? I thought you knew that just now."

"um.. wanna go out?"

"really?! I mean uh—yeah sure." deuce coughs. seemingly forgetting that he was supposed to be the 'totally cool and responsible' person in addition to his honor student dream. this is embarrassing, he thinks. but honestly who cares he scored a date with you!

he's probably still gonna playfully fight ace, cause you never told him that it wasn't ace.

in front of you was a piece of paper— a piece of paper that had the names of all 7 dorms on it, arranged in random order.

“well, here goes nothing.” you placed your finger on a random name. “eeny, meeny, miny, moe, catch a tiger by it’s toe..”

grim watched in anticipation as your hand flicked between the dorms, sitting on the edge of his seat as the rhyme started coming to an end. you smiled as you let out that final “moe”.

“that settles it! we better go and tell our new dorm leader the news, hm?”

heartslabyul

riddle is over here acting like he expected this from the beginning when he and everyone else knows how much he didn’t. if anyone talks about how uneasy he actually was, it’ll be off with their head!

trey is really surprised— he was sure ace, deuce, and riddle’s overbearingness would have made you immediately eliminate heartslabyul as an option. he’s glad you made the choice you did though, the dorm will benefit from having another sensible person.

cater’s super excited!! new dorm mate! now come closer so he can snap a “welcome to heartslabyul” pic, he’s gotta remember this moment! he’ll send it to you later~!

ace is like riddle, except he did expect this from the beginning. while you were carrying some of your stuff to your new room, he decided to sneak attack you and threw himself on your back, making you drop all your bags— a great start to your time in the dorm.

deuce is in disbelief, you! chose!! heartslabyul! he was starting to have his doubts on if ace’s plan was really gonna work or not, but looks like it did! and him, being the great guy he is, helped you out a ton with moving in and setting your things up.

POSITIVES : there’s never a boring day (a fancy way to say it’s always chaotic), almost always getting off the hook because turns out riddle has a serious case of favoritism towards you, getting to bake with trey, tending to all the cute animals, and of course, tea parties with everyone.

NEGATIVES : it’s hard to get some alone time, keeping up with dorm duties, ace always coming into your room uninvited, and having to do extra studying about the queen of hearts + her rules. all 810 of them.

savanaclaw

when you told leona, you were confused by his reaction— which was borderline maniacal sounding laughter. turns out he was just thinking about how hard he’s gonna make fun of vil and malleus for losing the competition.

ruggie let out a biiig sigh of relief when you told him. it was looking like you were favoring some of the other dorms over savanaclaw, you had him worried!

jack didn’t really know how to go about welcoming you. he ended up just gifted you a little cactus he grew. it’s super cute, it’s got pink flowers on it!

POSITIVES : following jack on his daily runs, helping out ruggie with chores or whatever else he might need help with, hanging out with leona in his room, and being able to do just about whatever you want as long as it doesn’t cause trouble!

NEGATIVES : it’s overbearingly hot, lowkey smells like sweat 24/7, and most of the residents are hotheads. and very strong. which is a dangerous combo— so you have to be careful to not piss them off, and if you do, you gotta run. or you could take them on if you’re just built like that!

octavinelle

looks like azul has a new employee! you’re thrown into action right away, he’s showing you all the ins and outs of working at mostro lounge— and bam, you’re in uniform serving people fancy drinks. welcome to octavinelle!

jade is very pleased, promising that you won’t regret your choice. which you may or may not. he’s just excited to see how long it takes until a catastrophe strikes.

it’s hard to shake off floyd after he found out you were joining his dorm. you’re just tryna do your job, serving orders, but floyd wants to get you to follow him around the dorm so he can show you all the neat things about it. eventually you cave in, let’s hope you’re back before azul notices!

life in octavinelle

POSITIVES : getting free food from mostro lounge, making cute terrarium with jade when you both have spare time, floyd making work hours feel shorter, and azul being a pretty good boss.

NEGATIVES : working at mostro lounge is not optional, having to worry about shady people (just about everyone in octavinelle), the twins deciding to bother you for no reason, and floyd’s NDE inducing squeezes.

scarabia

because of kalim, everyone in the school will find out about you choosing scarabia within like a day— he’s shouting about it from the rooftops. (lowkey rubbing it in everyone’s faces.)

jamil politely bows and lets you know that he’s glad you chose them. the reaction might’ve been a little underwhelming, but he’s very happy. he also really wishes kalim was in a different dorm so he could brag about it to him.

life in scarabia

POSITIVES : the residents are really friendly, parties just about every day, jamil’s cooking, kalim helping you out financially, and being able to just relax with jamil when you get exhausted by the parties.

NEGATIVES : like mentioned above, the parties can get exhausting, another dorm with overbearing heat, and the boys bring up their concerns about poisoned food and other dangers a lot, which of course, gets you a little paranoid.

pomefiore

hah, just like vil expected! now he knows for sure you’ve got a good head on your shoulders, choosing pomefiore. thank goodness you didn’t choose savanaclaw— he shudders at the thought of you in the middle of such an unruly place.

ever so dramatic, rook throws himself in your arms. with his hand on his forehead, he starts to ramble about how happy he is and doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon.

epel is super relieved; he thought he might’ve blew pomefiore’s chances with his awkward line. but that aside, he’s gonna have to help you with adjusting to pomefiore, all the new routines and lessons probably gonna be a bit to take in for you.

POSITIVES : seeing great improvements in your skin with each day thanks to vil’s products, bonding with epel over your shared pomefiore-related struggles, and becoming the person who probably knows the most about rook in the school.

NEGATIVES : having vil breathing down your neck nearly 24/7, a good bunch of your fellow residents are snooty, and rook stalking you. if you ever feel watched, just point in the opposite direction, yell something along the lines of “is that leona??” (or floyd, ruggie, anyone rook finds interesting will work really), and book it.

ignihyde

you sent idia the news over text, and when he read it, he screamed— like, the whole dorm heard it, probably thinks there’s a threat, and he’s gonna have to clarify there’s no danger + issue an apology to everyone kind-of-scream.

POSITIVES : you get as much alone time as you need (and nobody’s judging you), godly wifi, and you actually learn a lot about engineering and such!

NEGATIVES : you break something? you gotta pay up for it— and everything here costs a fortune. and the other residents are pretty difficult to work/get along with, so you might have a little trouble making friends in your dorm. plus there’s a little too many of them that smell like axe body spray :’(

diasomnia

malleus smiles so wide, it’s so wholesome! and a little scary. but he starts dragging you around the dorm, no real idea where he’s going to take you, and not caring either— he’s just so overjoyed right now!

lilia is the one who informs you about the dorm! he tells you about the history of it, what the students are like, all that jazz. he decides to drop the boring talk after he sees how you disinterested you are though, deciding to go and show you what your first dorm duty is. it’ll be fun, he promises!

sebek is glad that you were finally able to see diasomnia is the best dorm! you get upgraded from a simple ‘human’ to ‘human with considerably great intelligence’, good on you!

poor silver was a bit late to the party, finding out about all this much later than everyone else did. when he finally found out, he gave you a gentle hug. a warm welcome.

POSITIVES : being proud of yourself every day knowing you saved the school from malleus’ wrath by choosing diasomnia, getting into mischief with lilia, messing with sebek, naps with silver, and having the pleasure of being packed with knowledge on gargoyles.

NEGATIVES : sebek is almost always yelling and you have yet to develop a tolerance to it, being surrounded by super magically gifted people is a teensy bit intimidating, and lilia’s cooking.
