Tritikale Nedir? Tritikale Nasıl Kullanılır?

Tritikale bilimsel adı; Triticosecale’dir. İlk olarak 19. yüzyılın sonlarında İskoçya ve Almanya’daki laboratuvarlarda yetiştirilen bir buğday ve çavdar melezidir. Ticari olarak temin edilebilen tritikale neredeyse her zaman ikinci nesil bir hibrittir, yani iki tür birincil tritikale arasında bir çaprazlamadır.

Tek yıllık bir bitkidir. Bundan dolayı diğer yem bitkilerine göre avantajlıdır. Eğimli toprak derinliği az olan, çorak ve kışları çok sert geçen bölgelerde buğdaydan daha fazla verim vermektedir.

Dünya nüfusunun gıda ihtiyacının giderilmesi için alternatif olarak geliştirilen ve niteliksiz tarım alanlarında üretimi yapılabilecek bir bitkidir. Dünya üzerinde en fazla Polonya’da yetiştirilmektedir. Polonya’yı sırası ile Almanya, Belarus, Fransa ve Rusya izlemektedir. Soğuk bir iklime sahip olan Rusya; 2008 yılından beri bu bitkinin üretimi üzerinde çalışmaktadır ve son yıllarda üretimde dünya beşinciliğini elde etmiştir.

Tritikale Geliştirilmesi

En iyi tritikale durum buğdayı ve çavdarın melezlenmesi ile geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen bu tür; soğuk, kıraç, asitli topraklarda yetiştirilmeye elverişli haldedir. Ekstrem koşullara karşı buğday ve diğer tahıl türlerinden dayanıklıdır. Bu ekstrem koşullar içerisinde; iklim, toprak yapısı ve hastalıklar sayılabilir. Bu koşullarda buğday ve arpaya göre iki kat fazla verim verebilmektedir. Kışlık hububat olarak sınıflandırılır.

Ülkemizde son yıllarda üretimi konusunda çalışmalar yapılmaktadır. Tatlıcak, Ege yıldızı, Ümranhanım ve Tacettinbey gibi çeşitleri bulunmaktadır. Ağırlıklı olarak kaba yem, yeşil yem ve dane yem üretiminde kullanılır. Ayrıca; buğday gibi tahıllarla karıştırılarak ekmek ve diğer un mamulleri yapımında kullanılabilmektedir.

Tritikale tohumu

Tritikalenin ülkemiz hayvancılığı için gelecek yıllarda büyük öneme sahip olabilecek bir tahıldır. Ekim-kasım ayları arasında ekimi yapılmaktadır. Ülkemizde sıcak ve soğuk kuraklık göz önüne alınırsa ve stabil olmayan hava koşulları nedeniyle yetiştirilebilecek en iyi yem bitkilerindendir. İç Anadolu, Doğu Anadolu ve Trakya Bölgeleri gibi karasal iklimin etkili olduğu bölgelerde rahatlıkla yetiştirilebilecek bir üründür.

Book Blurb:

The story is about a 14 year old special boy named Trikal who's dreaming about battlefields, numerous watches and also a man in white. He's dreaming the same dream on the following day also, he informed his father about all this and in return his father advised him to say a sentence which later on made him realize a lot more things about time time school and its task. He met Brahma there and with the help of his advisor he was assigned with 7 tasks and should be completed by him within a time limit. In this journey he met other people who were living in different time lines and he got to know more about all these.

Review:

I was hooked really early, the book was well paced. Each task assigned to him was interesting and well developed. The writing style is easy to follow, and even comical at times. I really enjoyed the interactions between the characters. This was not a long drawn out read, it's a simple fast read and doesn’t give the reader a chance to get bored. Overall I enjoyed the plot. There's magic, mystery and intrigue.

I enjoyed the suspense that made me turn the page while Trikal was assigned with a task as they were racing against time. I was able to get lost in the pages of the story.

I'm hoping that there will be another book to follow this one, maybe. I would definitely recommend this for sci-fi fans, and anyone fancying something a bit different. Also recommended to young readers who're keen on reading about time dimensions, time controlling watch and black time.

Happy Birthday to #ShyamBenegal, born on December 14, 1934.

He's a well-known director and writer famous for his great movies and documentaries. Shyam Benegal has been a major figure in parallel cinema since the 1970s. He has received many big awards, like the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2005, the highest honor in Indian cinema. The Indian government also awarded him high civilian honors: the Padma Shri in 1976 and the Padma Bhushan in 1991.

Born in Hyderabad, Benegal's career began as a copywriter. His first documentary, "Gher Betha Ganga," was released in 1962. He became known for his first four films - "Ankur," "Nishant," "Manthan," and "Bhumika" - which were key to the new wave film movement. His films like "Mammo," "Sardari Begum," and "Zubeidaa" won several National Film Awards and form what's known as the Muslim women Trilogy.

Benegal's career also included teaching at the Film and Television Institute of India and making over 900 sponsored documentaries and advertising films. He was involved in early TV projects and continued making influential films in the 1970s and 1980s, like "Junoon" and "Kalyug." He explored different themes, including political satire in "Mandi" and human relationships in "Trikal."

In the 1990s, Benegal made impactful films about Indian Muslim women and moved into mainstream Bollywood with "Zubeidaa." He also tackled biographical subjects like "Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero." Critiquing the caste system in "Samar," he continued to win accolades.

Currently, Benegal heads the Federation of Film Societies of India and runs Sahyadri Films. He has written three books based on his films, contributing significantly to Indian cinema.
