Ok guess it’s my time to speak up on tubbo and sunny stealing shit from Leo and Foolish… because I guess my /neg posts are a daily occurrence now… (This isn’t really heavy neg more just criticism, so beware.)

With them reading the lore book for foolish, I can’t say anything because it was out in the open and the admins should know better by now lol. They were lucky it was vague but from now I’ll will talk about everything else.

I can give a lot of slack to Sunny because Sunny doesn’t know what stuff is Leo’s and such. However the whole “they are so poor” act has got to drop, some of the eggs have tried that before and it just does not read well at all.

Encouraging/being okay with sunny possibly stealing Foolish’s first gift to Leo is crazy. Like they don’t know that but man, it’s name tagged and everything. So obviously you shouldn’t steal it because the context clues obviously point to it being either Leo’s or Foolish’s pet. Like just leave it alone or better yet go get your own pet and make it an adventure.

But Tubbo, I’m just so disappointed man. For being so smart he did not pick up on any of the context clue at Foolish’s house. Like the egg bed is right there you can clearly tell this is Leo’s room despite Foolish also making it his main hub. Yeah it’s Foolish’s main hub but also it’s Leo’s room first and foremost so you shouldn’t touch it. I don’t blame him for not knowing what chests are Leo’s but the fact he was stealing and encouraging sunny to steal was just so exhausting.

About Foolish knowing about the stealing, he’s probaby mentioned it like once ages ago and Foolish does not remember it at all, which is just almost as bad as stealing good items without telling. Which tubbo did when he stole 3 of Foolish’s mending books. Can he not just ask someone online or go grind for it himself?? Sure no one minds when people take the surplus of stuff they have but since he takes valuable stuff and he doesn’t know which chests are Leo’s, it just reads bad to the viewers…

Again part of minecraft is to grind your gear out, the fact that Tubbo has just been stealing valuable or hard to get items from people is so boring... Please just go get your own villager and do dungeons as a part of your stream content, because if you’re not playing with the long term goal in mind then why are you even playing?? Also yes his factory can be a long term goal but with how quickly he does it, it’s becoming a more medium length goal.

Seriously though by having moments in stream where you grind for the things you need is essential, otherwise content can become very repetitive and somewhat episode like. Please I beg, can’t you just go do an adventuring and resource gathering stream? Please! Like you stream almost 6-9 hours on qsmp and just steal resources? Just use up one of those hours to go and gather the resources.

Tl;dr - Tubbo really just needs to start adventuring and grinding gear by doing dungeons and getting villagers, he doesn’t even have to do it alone everyone knows morning crew would gladly tag along. The stealing bit is okay when the person has a surplus of that material but it’s getting boring…

I'm ngl, I think some people should be more careful about what they say about creators or their characters on the qsmp. Like right now, the thing im seeing a lot of is people calling Tubbo annoying for missing social cues, talking too much about the things that interest him, and so on. He's not even the only one I've seen this happen to because I've also seen happen before when people ragged on BBH for being intentionally dismissive of other creators because he was, according to them, "not paying enough attention."

And, to be clear, I understand that there is a gap between fiction and reality, and what you'd say about fictional things doesn't necessarily reflect what you'd say to someone in real life. But sometimes i see this directed at the creators themselves, which already just sucks, and even beyond that just seeing this kinda stuff thrown around can be kinda depressing, especially if you're a fan who wants to enjoy this fanspace but can relate to things people chose to shit on creators for.

It also doesn't make you a bad person to have unknowingly partaken in this, I'm not saying this makes you some unforgivable monster. I just need some specific people to reconsider before they say stuff like this, pretty please 🙏

I can't trust u if your actually convinced tubbo is a bad parent to sunny

Like tubbo making it very clear that he wishes he had one of the other parents here because he himself can't help her emotionally, he can give advice to solutions but he can't process the emotions with her.

Tubbo sees at least some of his faults with sunny and it takes a lot for someone to say I can't handle this. Besides tubbo is the best person for because he understands the feelings of being alone that sunny is feeling.

I think that my main takeaway from this is that while the miscommunication is one thing, and there was obviously a barrier there that wasn’t sorted out, I don’t appreciate the way the admin went about talking about it. I think that tossing tubbo into the hot seat and talking about his lore on another persons stream (who is not connected to the lore) was unprofessional and they should have reached out with a private message first to get some clarity or ensure Tubbo was done with the lore before assuming he was.

My biggest problem is how the fandom treated tubbo afterwards. They used both his dyslexia and known forgetfulness to make fun of and blame him for a situation he had only half fault in at worst. The fandom gaslight him into doubting his own abilities and did so to a point that is triggering to those suffering with derealization or disassociation (which Tubbo has mentioned he had episodes with in the past or something similar). The absolute worst part of it all is that we all read and interpreted the book the exact same as Tubbo did and instead of taking accountability, people blamed tubbo for being “too dyslexic”, “too forgetful”, or “too dumb” to interpret the book correctly.

It’s genuinely horrific how people think that he’s too dumb for his own lore (because he’s nd perhaps?) and that he’s entirely at fault for a simple miscommunication error. I hope he continues with his lore the way he wants because this is all such bs

I know I’m late but idc that person who tried to spread fake allegations about tubbo is so fucking stupid. Like yeah, the obviously fake story is telling enough but their lack of forethought as to what they’re actually doing is just crazy.

They outright used Tubbo’s name and blatantly accused him of a crime that he didn’t commit. AND if his viewers can defend him based on the limited evidence we have, I can only imagine what his lawyer could do if given the opportunity. This random person has potentially put themselves in so much legal trouble and for what? goddamn twitter likes???? Like congratulations, thanks to your actions not only will you rot in hell but also possible rot in jail as well.

I've been seeing a growth on hatred towards Tubblings (Tubbo's community) in here. Aswell as some explicit hate towards Philza.

It's not a huge issue yet, but before it is: know that we don't tolerate plain hate in here and u will be reported. Tumblr HAS a report system that works.

i saw a post earlier that q!tubbo is the only "moral" character even after purgatory and it's kinda kept me awake, not because i don't agree with the sentiment (i do) but because the idea of morality as intrinsically important in fandom / character analysis is fascinating to me, *especially* when we're talking about the morality of someone who's basically just spent two weeks in some eye guy's budget hunger games.

first off, while i fully agree that by the end of this q!tubbo *is* a character that tried at every turn to be kind and generous even to his own detriment, how does that make him more or less "moral" than q!phil or q!fit? he still killed, the same as them. he still strategized to beat his friends, has blood on his hands — why is he marked above x, y, or z in the moral scale?

well, one could argue that he did what he did for his team, for the eggs, and because he was forced to when he was put in the game in the first place, yeah? it's not his fault he's in this position, and he's doing his best to survive it. i personally think that's totally valid and justifiable, but it leaves a huge elephant in the room.

what about everyone else?

i'm going to use q!bad as an example because he's my main pov, and before i go into this analysis i want it known i'm very much playing the devil's advocate and illustrating a point — i am not saying his actions are "good". good? good.

okay. so, q!bad. here we have a non-human father who was told by his missing child to win regardless of the cost, or whomever he had to run over. he had to win. is it immoral then for him to take that to heart and play the game the way it was presented? is it immoral for him to kill for his child, or to be determined to win even in detriment of others? to want to use the same strategies in the battlefield that everyone else would, even if they're not kind or polite?

i don't fucking know, because morality isn't linear — this situation *isn't* linear bc if people will go on the record saying they would kill for their child and are praised for it, what makes q!bad's actions in the universe he's existing in any different?

you can even say that by some perspectives, q!tubbo extending so much kindness to his competitors over and over again was at times (or could've been) detrimental to his team ergo their childrens' lives and yet he still did it. is it more moral to save children or be nice to someone else?

my point being, i feel that the morality argument while very very interesting is kind of irrelevant bc when push comes to shove, characters aren't compelling bc they have more or less morals — i genuinely think a lot of media / character consumption has *actively* been harmed by everyone's need to have the thing they enjoy be "good" or "moral" or "right" bc if it isn't, what does that say about us?

the answer to that one is: absolutely nothing, but man do i think sometimes people in fandom feel guilty if they like or prefer an immoral or grey character vs a "stereotypical" moral one.

anyway, all this to say that i think by the end of purgatory, q!tubbo is the character that was most true to himself and his values from start to finish, and it's been a great watch. is he the most morally correct? eh. who the fuck knows.

i am so glad tubbo's saying something abt the economy system bc its actually kind of an annoying feature to watch as a viewer too LOL and don't get me wrong i was hyped up for it bc i loveee when smps have economies! im sure it'll work itself out in the next few days bc they're probably still figuring it out but

dont understand why they keep nerfing the coins you get from stuff when you already have high price goals for items in the shop - it's probably to draw it out as long as possible but it's not like it would stop people from playing/watching lol. it didn't before. (this wouldn't be an issue in my mind if it weren't for the fact players have to put in so much TIME for such little payout if that makes sense)

nobody wants to use the economy system as it is because there is no reliable way to get good amounts of coins so the people who DO try (like tubbo) get criticized for doing so and like tubbo said there's not/there's not going to be enough money circulating through the players (prob bc bbh has most of it but not even mad at him for that i think its funny)

the bounties being the best way to get the most amount of coins is cool in THEORY when there's actually stuff to do and they don't run out quickly - if this was fixed the nerfed coin amounts for other trivial things would make sense in my mind

again, it's still early and they'll still probably fix it as they go so im just yapping but i was really looking forward to seeing player to player transactions bc i LOVEE when smps do that so bad!! when tubbo was doing it yesterday i was BUZZING especially bc it was sooo smart of him LOL the qsmp currency is a cool CONCEPT but i just miss when smps used iron/gold/diamonds and made their own currency </3

i think all the people who read my Tubbo is Em’s father post as me calling Em’s moms ‘bad and neglectful’ should check first why they are ready to jump to that conclusion without even anything prompting it.

anyway, Em has awesome moms, who love her very much, and i hope to see them all soon again. i also really want Bagi and Tubbo to hang out with Em and Sunny together more and maybe for Sunny and Bagi to develop a close dynamic (whichever one it will be). i also hope Niki will be back soon, because i miss her and she would love Em’s cat hat.

Problem is unless the theory that Fred was intended to be toxic is true people are just going to go harder on the idea that Tubbo is being sad and angsty for no reason if he tanks the relationship or shows too many signs of mental health issues. cc!Tubbo was never being angsty for no reason he had an in character reason. And even if he was, so are tons if other characters. Fans are constantly acting like angst makes the best lore but also hating on Tubbo for how he was doing it. I actually hate so much of the fan base right now and that’s without getting into the ridiculous amount of ableism he’s been getting lately.

People claim they want more mentally I'll characters until this character pushes people away on purpose, self isolated, avoid people who apparently wanted to talk, hurts himself even if its in front of others, And so on

Exactly u can't ask angst and then get mad when streamer has angst. Angst apparently is only acceptable when it means sad and cries a lot but severely depressed and leading to hurting himself and prematurely accepting people will leave him behind AND THE FACT HIS DAUGHTER IS GOING TO DIE.

Like aint no way that people convinced tubbo he was wrong and it was ALL HIS FAULT. Its kinda sad because u would expect a fandom that's building on diversity and inclusivity would be so ableist
