Pride and Prejudice

   Ok. You people. You know who you are.

Pride and Prejudice is one of those classic titles I never got around to reading in my younger days (when I read constantly and very widely). However, due to you Tumblr yokels prattling on and on and ON about it, I started to get an interest. Then I saw a copy on my 70-yr-old friend’s bookshelf, and borrowed it. It took about 70 pages to get the hang of the style and the archaic sentence structure. But

BUT

I really, really enjoyed it!

And now I understand the P&P memes, shitposts, and essays I find here. and

AND

I keep screenshotting them and sending them to my friend. Because I borrowed your book, I understand why this is funny! Isn’t this one funny! OMG look at this! She is baffled, but kind about it.

So The Hellsite ™ not only wins, but also escapes containment and reaches out to non-Tumblrites.
